A 22 [degree] halo is an optical phenomenon that belongs to the family of ice-crystal halos. Its form is a ring with an apparent radius of approximately 22 [degree] around the Sun or Moon. Its radius is roughly the length of an outstretched hand at arm's length.[1] When visible around the Moon, it is called a moon ring or winter halo. It forms as sunlight or moonlight is refracted by millions of hexagonal ice crystals suspended in the atmosphere.
A sun dog (or sundog) or mock sun, also called a parhelion[1] (plural parhelia) in meteorology, is an atmospheric optical phenomenon that consists of a bright spot to one or both sides of the Sun. Two sun dogs often flank the Sun within a 22 [degree] halo. The sun dog is a member of the family of halos caused by the refraction of sunlight by ice crystals in the atmosphere. Sun dogs typically appear as a pair of subtly colored patches of light, around 22 [degrees] to the left and right of the Sun, and at the same altitude above the horizon as the Sun. They can be seen anywhere in the world during any season, but are not always obvious or bright. Sun dogs are best seen and most conspicuous when the Sun is near the horizon.

I have and it's disgusting. When you first start chewing it doesn't seem bad, but then the real flavor kicks in and it's a mix of blood and fish that's been sitting in the sun for a few days. And the aftertaste lingers for a while and it is not good.

It is very simple. The Goal is to have complete control over a multi-trillion dollar international slush fund. You can be like Bloomberg and piss away hundreds of millions of dollars on ad buys and phone banks and have nothing to show for it, you can fund big city political machines and get a more certain response, but to eliminate all risk, you own the voting machines and the people who supervise them. Then you own key people who can derail any investigation and you let judges know that they don't enjoy the same level of protection as the Executive and they can end up inhaling a pillow at a dude ranch.
This last method costs far, far less and has a higher probability of producing the desired outcome. Barr was absolutely paid off. You don't risk having a pesky AG screw up all of your plans.

Depending on your climate you may need some dark or reflective covering to keep the proper temps. Peppers are very sensitive to soil temps below 50 degrees and will set fruit without any meat if you allow temps to drop too often.

The referendum is a fait accompli and not meant to be taken literally.
It gives them an out, confused the American public, gives Putin most of what he wants, reduces American power regionally, weakens America's standing as the Petro dollar, mainstreams the idea of an Iran deal, and gives the illusion of the reduction of global stability.
I won't go so far as to say the entire thing was choreographed like a dance video, but it definitely met a lot of goals including the right people getting untraceable money.

Yea... I have an Audew thermo-electric humidor. A "wine cooler" type contraption. Supposed to keep the humidity at "whatever" I preset using glycol, distilled water, Bovdea packs, etc. Problem is the sticks are arriving in poor condition and it's not apparent until they've sat for a month or more. I keep it at 68 percent, which is "supposed" to be the sweet spot for Cubans.
I do periodically bump the humidity up if it seems to be below 65%... which is possible here when the air is really dry. Like today. RH was 30%.

The Ukies bought the American political class in high enough numbers they essentially think they have access to America's theorized limitless credit card.
I do not like that but I can tolerate it, if the American soldier gets sacrificed to the greed and corruption of the Ukies and the American political class I will be less than thrilled as a first point.
Add in that the democrats in particular who have spent my entire life pretending the Soviets and Russians both needed sucked off are now the hardest Russophobes on Earth and are literally risking nuclear exchange they have decried if shit goes sideways and I am at risk of death from eyerolling and vomiting.

Anecdotal, but... spent the last 3 days out of town dealing with a funeral (Uncle). When Ukraine was mentioned, NO ONE was for us going to war for... or even really supporting the Ukes. EVERYONE knew we were being lied to about the situation...

Everyone else was all "doo-tee-doo, not speedin' here boss." So I drove the speed limit and got the good lane. Deputy was stuck behind a truck.

I've got a friend who bought a black Dodge Charger with the big engine and performance package. Loves it. HATES to drive it, because every time he takes it out everyone touches the brakes and drives five below the limit wherever he goes. He's seriously debating selling it because it's such a PITA.

The Ukies are acting like a weaker opponent that feels total moral justification largely because they are in their view. They will hide behind women and kids, they will use hospitals as ammo dumps because they are trying to win the information battlefield and they WILL win the perception war in the west because the US media will play "save the donkey." That does not mean that they can change reality with their gains in perception but they can buy time and backing.

i know. we are back to total war, and the enemy has absolutely no qualms about cheating. we either die, or we bring total war onto their heads so fucking hard the great grand children of the survivors will still have ptsd over what we did to make them behave. it took the fucking japanese up to roughly the last four years to begin thinking outside of the box. and they only did that because they saw how corrupt we had become and need to protect themselves fromus.
