Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | The Morning Report - 3/2/22![]() A confused political hack from Delaware staged a one-man insurrection by invading the sacred precincts of the Capitol building, hijacking all the TV networks, and yelling that the planet would be destroyed unless we gave him all our money so he could burn it and turn it into green energy. Joseph Robinette Biden Jr, who loves the sound of his voice more than his crackhead son or the bastard grandchild of a stripper, had already inflicted the second longest opening address in the history of this nation with a 2021 marathon address that killed more brain cells than meth. . . . . . With the price of gas, homes, and groceries out of the reach of most Americans, Biden began by taking credit for doing nothing to stop Putin from invading Ukraine. And then vowed that he, along with a coalition of "freedom loving nations" would fight Putin until the last Ukrainian. Or until their social media people run out of hashtags. Biden, who confused the Iranians and the Ukranians, spent more time bragging about plans to seize the yachts of Russian oligarchs than Truman spent declaring victory after WWII. Putin "may make gains on the battlefield," Biden argued, but "he will pay a continuing high price over the long run". Sure. Vlad may take Ukraine, but Biden will take his yacht. During his unhinged tirade, Biden revealed a plan to end women's sports in America, but failed to name one thing that would actually stop Putin. . . . . . Biden then wrapped up the extended torture session that would have broken any of the Al Qaeda terrorists he recently freed from Gitmo by calling for open borders, illegal alien amnesty, abortion, and conducting gender experiments on young children. Then he closed by invoking God. At least unlike at the presidential debates, he didn't invoke Allah. At this point, not even Allah wants to be associated with the Biden administration. Squinting in defiant confusion, Biden angrily concluded by shouting, "Go get him." The dozens of people watching were left to wonder whether he was talking to the voices in his head, an imaginary leprechaun, or his handlers in Beijing.Speaking of bipedal grand mal seizures, what the hell was Malig-Nancy Pelosi doing up there; the Frug?! BLM may be nothing but a bunch of terrorist thugs, but the Venn diagram of me and them intersect at one tiny spot: Get rid of all the old white people in DC. And what Ron Klain couldn't lie about, he completely ignored. . . . perhaps the worst and most infuriating thing about the speech, aside from the blatant lies about his record, was what was missing. Joe Biden was so desperate for a 9/11 anniversary photo op that he set an arbitrary date for withdrawing from Afghanistan, without any conditions for the Taliban, causing a disastrous evacuation that resulted thousands of Americans left behind and 13 U.S. service members dead. Yet, not a single word about the withdrawal. Not a single word to honor those who died because of his incompetence. . . . . . He did, however, mention his late son Beau Biden… because that's what he does. He did so more than once after his botched withdrawal last year. In fact, the family of fallen Marine Rylee McCollum, who was killed at Kabul airport, said that when they met with Biden "he kept checking his watch and bringing up Beau. . . " - Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Darin T. Hoover, 31, of Salt Lake City, UtahJoe Biden's entire miserable, criminal, perverted adult life is inexcusable. But at least one person in the audience was not going to let him get away with it. As Biden described veterans exposed to burn pits developing "cancer that would put them in a flag-draped coffin," [Rep. Lauren] Boebert yelled out: "You put them in, 13 of them," sparking boos from the Democrats in the chamber. Boebert is referring to the 13 U.S. service members who were killed in a terror attack at the Kabul airport as Americans were left stranded throughout the country in August 2021. "Headaches, numbness, dizziness, a cancer that would put them in a flag-draped coffin, I know," Biden said. Boebert then shouted: "13 of them!"Good for her. It's funny how the Left and their remora in the cuckservative class have the vapors when it comes to civility and "our precious norms." And yet when hate shakes are hurled and GOP congressmen are gunned down by a Bernie Bro at a softball field you get either crickets or blaming the rape victim for wearing provocative clothing. Yeah, I'm done with civility. "Fuck you, war!" as Andrew Breitbart of blessed memory - who left us way too young when we need him most exactly 10 years ago - would say. About the only positive sign from last night's shitshow was the rebuttal speech. No, not from the GOP but an actual intraparty rebuttal speech from the far left wing of the Democrats, delivered by coelacanth-faced Jew-hater Rancida Taliban, aka Rashida Tlaib from the emirate of Dearbornistan. I'm not going to quote her but suffice it to say that she basically was damning Biden with faint praise by claiming the failure of Bernardo Sandersnista's insane multi-trillion dollar Build Bolshevism Biggerer disasters to pass was the fault of "greedy corporatist elements" in the Democrat Party (I guess that means "JOOZ!") as well as the GOP. It's a thinly veiled warning shot across Biden's handlers' bow. The killer diller was the so-called "Squad" sitting on their hands as the Dems did the seal clapping when Biden announced more funding for the police. Funny because for the past two years they were loudly running on the opposite platform much to the revulsion of average Americans who watched in horror as terrorists torched and looted scores of American businesses. Cori Bush, a BLM thug apologist was pointing at her shirt and yelling something at Biden in response. It sounded like, "Yo cracka! I got this shirt at a Kenosha fire sale!" It's good that the Democrat Party is at each other's throat but it's cold comfort considering the GOP is utterly useless at best, and colluding with the globalists at worst. Even if we won every seat in every district with candidates to the right of Donald Trump, the bureaucracy and the judiciary will be there to sabotage us at every turn. And more and more of the former private sector will be there to punish us for getting out of line. Oh, and Ukraine. . . The End of America: 100 Days That Shook the World available here.

So Biden is releasing another 30 million barrels from the strategic petroleum reserve to try to save his sorry ass. I assume the first release to save his sorry ass (50 million barrels) was never replaced. So that will put us down around 15% from capacity. I expect at least one more even larger before the elections in another failed attempt drive down prices. Then it will the be down at least 20% probably more if/when a real crisis does hit.

No real surprises in the Texas Primary races; I was always surprised when people would claim that Abbot might be in trouble, since I could never see that. I think Allen West way underperformed; I had thought he might come close to 20%, he only got 12%.
George P. Bush showed that name recognition alone can still get a candidate 23% of the vote; but I don't think he has much chance in the runoff, as Gohmert's 17% should join with Paxton's 42% to give Paxton an easy win when its held. Posted by: Tom Servo at March 02, 2022 07:55 AM (evAgx) 52

++++ Intraparty factional war is usually a sign that the Party is in complete control and there are no external enemies, so they are comfortable and confident enough with the overall position to take care of family business. If they're airing the dirty laundry and attacking each other like this, they're confident that there is no extraparty pressure to deal with it, and no risks to do doing what they're doing. The thing that struck me most about the SOTU was the messaging track. It was an obvious attempt to dart back toward the middle (not very far toward the middle, but off the hard left edge) and the way they chose to do it was by plagiarizing Trump. He hit a lot of Trump's typical beats:
- Domestic industry revitalization - Need for a secure border - Anti-competitive behavior of the big corporates - Strong America - China skepticism It was all a pack of bald-faced lies and the old bastard and his handlers have a 50+ year history of meaning precisely none of it, but he mouthed the words and they sounded vaguely familiar. It was actually surprising. In parts of that speech, he was pushing a watered-down, derivative, blatantly stolen and utterly unconvincing faux MAGA message. Posted by: Minuteman at March 02, 2022 08:11 AM (LaNzR) ++++ It was the rallying cry, the call to action. This is unusual for a president to do at the SOTU unless that president was Trump. This is another example of lifting some techniques from Trump. In Trump's case, he would end with his call to action: "Make America Great Again," along the lines of a campaign speech. I remember him taking a lot of heat for that in the thinkpieces that followed. But Biden did the same thing. There was a campaign-style crescendo at the end, followed by a call to action. But he can't use the Dread Trump's call to action, so he went with a generic "Go Git 'Em" - as in "let's roll" or "give 'em hell" and the like. A plagiarized approach, denuded of all legitimacy, honesty and meaning and with key phrases replaced with worn old platitudes. They're made cheaply in shithole nations because shithole leaders don't mind spitting out toxic gunk and poisoning their own people, unlike here where that would harm Captain Planet. And American manufacturing businesses shut down because they can't afford the clean-up expenses; they can't just dump toxic waste on peasantry to compete with China. Not to mention literal wage slavery, rather than figurative. It's like a Tragedy of the Commons, though not the same. Wonder if there's a specific term or syndrome name for this condition. Losing that seat isn't going to undermine the whole red wave, challenging the Republican takeover of the House. It's a sacrifice worth making. The Russia scholar and professor Stephen Cohen predicted we would end up here if we didn't change course years ago and he was spot on.
At the 2008 NATO Summit in Bucharest both Ukraine and Georgia were calling for submission into NATO. NATO agreed with their goal but did not take concrete action. At the same time Putin publicly said that admission of Georgia and Ukraine into NATO would be crossing a red line for him and he would not allow it. Putin's red lines are not Obama's red lines. In August of 2008 Putin invaded Georgia and the country has never been the same. We kept pushing in Ukraine and in 2015 Putin annexed Crimea. Trump did not push and we had 4 years of relative peace. Biden resumed pushing NATO membership for Ukraine and here we are. Putin is not crazy and this wasn't some half-assed invasion. He did exactly what he told the world he would do, we just didn't listen. Posted by: JackStraw at March 02, 2022 08:20 AM (ZLI7S) 165

How is it possible for these people, who presumably are in fact real people and not part of the simulation, to embrace group think so wholeheartedly that they don't even seem to notice how much and how quickly their direction has changed?
Maybe personal experience has a lot to do with it. I'm very accustomed to having extremely different opinions from the people around me, so if I found myself surrounded by people who agree with me, my first reaction would be pleased surprise, followed almost immediately by suspicion. I would wager a small-but-significant amount of money that Putin is not actually "bad" as far as our Ruling Class is concerned. The fact is, we've never really gotten away from the direct diplomacy of the Renaissance and Enlightenment periods - I'm sure that, under the right circumstances, Joey Brown-pants would be on a golf course with Putin having a grand old time. You'll notice it's rarely (if ever) the Ruling Class that is in danger. Mad props to the president of Ukraine on that, by the way. They are all familiar with each other. They've been to parties together. Many of them went to school together, or at least close enough that they probably socialized. Whatever Joe Biden's handlers may tell him to say, Biden is not concerned about Ukraine because "Freedom!" or "Democracy!" or whatever. No, FJB is "concerned" about Ukraine because he has dismal poll numbers and a failing record everywhere and he needed something shiny to distract the proles. The ChiComs are masters of the long march. It was difficult for them to get the high technology they needed for world domination, so in the 90s they started their march. Send their agents to US universities to get into graduate studies programs to be on the research teams for new tech. Get them into our defense contractors and national labs to build the new tech. Bribe politicians to make trade with China favorable and encourage US companies to shift manufacturing to the mainland. Then go to developing countries who have the resources you need and get them indebted to China through massive infrastructure projects so they give China control of rare earths in payment. It was a brilliant long play, and our universities, companies and politicians ate it up.

How is it possible for these people, who presumably are in fact real people and not part of the simulation, to embrace group think so wholeheartedly that they don't even seem to notice how much and how quickly their direction has changed?"
As you mention, Bad Cat's essay on the Rise of the Agitariat answered those questions very well. The Department of Veterans Affairs will propose adding certain rare respiratory cancers to the list of presumed service-connected disabilities in relation to military environmental exposure to particulate matter.
____________ Has there ever been any kind of scientific study that concluded that inhaling particulates from burn pits causes brain cancer? Because that seems to be what Joe Biden is claiming killed his son Beau, but that seems highly unlikely to my admittedly un-scientific mind. Beau was a JAG. What are the chances that a military lawyer, a major and the son of a prominent U.S. senator, would have been put in an office near a burn pit, for the 7 months that Beau Biden was in a combat zone in Iraq? I get that Joe Biden wants Beau's death to be related to his very brief, and very bureaucratic, service in Iraq. But it seems like a very, very unlikely scenario. I would wager a small-but-significant amount of money that Putin is not actually "bad" as far as our Ruling Class is concerned.
One of the big elements of the 2012 presidential election was whether Putin was an enemy or not - with Romney saying yes, and Obama saying no. But then the Russians stopped allowing gay Americans to adopt Russian orphans after several sexual abuse scandals and instantly Russia because the worst country in the history of the world. And at some point the ruling elite found that Ukraine was a great piggy bank and since the Russians/Ukes are at odds the elites really had to pick the Ukes which they utterly failed at defending the last time Putin attacked under Obama. None of this means Putin respects human rights, but the reason our elites HATE him have nothing to do with that. Posted by: 18-1 at March 02, 2022 08:51 AM (ESjRY) 271

Putin has cleverly used Wilson's self determination as that man in Germany did to subvert the boundary question. But, moving boundaries by force is a violation of Westphalia and why the Allies reluctantly went home from occupying the Rhineland in the 30's. Putin has pulled the stunt in Georgia, waged a vicious war including destroying Grozny against the Chechens along with probably staging bomb attacks against his own people to justify it, the TransDneipr region in Moldova, etc. And then the Crimea in 2014 and the Donbass occupations. So Bryan wresting control from the 'goldbugs' in the Democrats meant failure in 1896. The Goldwater faction wresting the presidential nomination from the Rockefellers meant failure in 1964. And so on. Boris on the hot seat from his own party is because of policy failures that could wreck the future of his party in new elections and so on. The history of parties has elites vying to climb the slippery pole and interparty fights occur when some elites see a chance to advance with a different set of ideas.
Is that what all of this shit is about? Is that it? We have the idle rich, the multi-billionaire oligarchs are using the world's largest armies as playthings and the goal is to use their power over yacht envy? WEF Oligarch, looking out over the Med and seeing a Russian oligarch's yacht that is larger than a cruise ship and made of precious metals then looks at his smaller ship with one fewer helipad and smaller security force, calls up Ron Klane and demands that Biden use the Democrat Party Military and the alphabet agencies to seize the Russian's yacht and either sell it to the WEF Oligarch at a private, one-person auction or scuttle it. In the Searchers, the girl Wayne is trying to rescue is loosely based on Cyntha Ann Parker, mother of Quanah Parker. She was captured as a child in 1836, and then recaptured and forcibly repatriated to white society by Sul Ross, in 1860, after she'd become part of a Comanche family and had sons. She lived her remaining years in misery, and tried to esacape back to the Comanche's several times, but she was always recaptured. The Comanches originally abducted her and wrecked her life; but then the whites came back and it to her again, even worse. But the recapture wasn't about her; it was about asserting cultural dominance once and for all, and the fact that Cynthia Ann was destroyed by it was inconsequential.

It's supposed to be an uncomfortable look at, usually, fatherhood, culture, and finding one's place in the world, but most modern tellings lean pretty heavily on the "the natives were probably right to do it in the first place." The Emerald Forest got pretty close to it.

Mask required to enter the building and must stay on before any work is done. Must rinse with a hydrogen peroxide swish (gross) before they will look in your mouth. Will not do ultrasonic cleaning (aerosols!!), will not do polishing (aerosols!!). Must put mask back on immediately after cleaning is done. Must leave out the back door so as not to run in to anyone else in the building on my way out. All this for a cleaning, including them in head-to-toe protective gear, face mask, face shield, and safety goggles. There must be something magic about the first two decades of a century in these United states. In the early 1900s the US had a dhimocraptic president and ex college president, named Woodrow Wilson. Just like JB, he had two wives. His second wife was named Edith. She had ZERO education. One day, she walked into their Whitehouse bathroom and ol' Woodrow was laying on the floor, victim of a stroke. She, and our patriotic party covered the problem up and ruled the US as if he was functional. Sound familiar? The problem with our country is its teachers, nobody brings to the attention of the citizens anything that is not favorable to socialists/ dhimocrapts. Now is the time for you few intelligent patriots that are left not to let this happen again. You would think that with all the media hero reporters making stuff up, someone, some moron, would bring this to the attention of the people.
