We, my wife and I, also have Health Care Powers of Attorney for each other. It only is in effect if I cannot make medical decisions for myself. It specific what can/cannot be done if I am reaching the end.
I feel much more comfortable with my Health Care Power of Attorney than my Living Will.
Every state's laws are different so that will play into it also. Sorry, I know this is of no help at all.

This can be done many ways, it doesn't have to include two specific medical professionals, for example. I can give some insight from personal experience 2 years ago, when my 85 year old father suffered a sudden sharp illness and within a few days, lapsed into coma. He had made sure to tell everyone in his family, and had put in writing for us, his earnest wish that if ever reached the point where his life was only being sustained by machine, he wanted the machines turned off. He was very adamant about it. When that actually happened, his directions made it very easy for his family to make the decision, with no guilt. We let him go, as he wished.

There was a third election in November, 1932 where the Nazis lost ground. A split between Hitler and Gregor Strasser nearly occurred afterwards. The consensus was that the Nazis had passed their peak. The economy was beginning to revive. Schlichter had plans for a massive public works program. Then Papen threw a wrench in the machinery, Schlichter's government fell and Hitler was appointed.

Rhomboid the unification of the office happened after von Hindenburg died. There was no way Hitler was going to tolerate the election of a replacement president that might challenge his authority. The president as head of state was technically his superior as Chancellor. So a vote of the people created the office of Fuhrer to which Hitler naturally ascended. I believe this was in late 1934 iirc.

Board went out on it, but it was an easy repair with parts available. Don't know how that pans out with LG or Samsung for parts, and I've heard similar cautions about those brands.

Newer stuff tends to be crap. My sister had...either a Maytag or Whirlpool...and it crapped out on her after a year and a half. The new stuff is made to FAIL after some period of operation, it seems (really just the cost cutting).

When I asked if they were happy about police trampling old ladies, they denied it happened - because the CBC hasn't shown that. Also, the kind of oily rags that catch fire spontaneously are the ones soaked in linseed oil, or similar vegetable oils. They oxidize pretty quickly in the presence of air, which is why oil-based paint and varnish hardens. Lubricating oil, which is what one would expect to find in a ship's engine room, does not oxidize readly, since that is not a good property for lube oil to have.

Also, the kind of oily rags that catch fire spontaneously are the ones soaked in linseed oil, or similar vegetable oils. They oxidize pretty quickly in the presence of air, which is why oil-based paint and varnish hardens. Lubricating oil, which is what one would expect to find in a ship's engine room, does not oxidize readly, since that is not a good property for lube oil to have.

LG refrigerator - That's what we got in, maybe, 2008. Never had a problem. Also have 28-year-old hot water tank and furnace -- Sears-Kenmore. No "smart" in any of that. Water heater seems probably about to give up.
I think it's safe to say, they don't make 'em like that anymore.

I know for a fact, on the retail car lots, that in the event of total loss of new-car inventories, that the insurers pay full MSRP to the dealerships. By the same metric, I would assume that the insurers would pay the Volkswagen Group the full Invoice & Holdback amounts, plus the shipping costs.
No single Lloyds syndicate will suffer the entire costs, as "risks" such as these are laid-off (sub insured) to a myriad of "re-insurance" companies. We never hear of these giants, but one just acquired American National Insurance Company in Galveston, which is an American Top 50 insurer, doing appx. $100 Billion in annual revenue. The "insurance business" is it's own Deep State. And "insuring" your guns requires models, serial #s, and often, pictures. Congrats, you've just registered your guns!

See my video post above. He's right. Trudy stomping on the peaceful protest without even trying to hear them out is going to leave a mark on the protesters and their supporters. Especially the ones that have lost their trucks and being unemployed have lots of time to review their grievances. The same thing is already happening down here. I really hope Starfield is great. As for the dilemma, the Series X is the more future proof 4K system if it's in your budget. However, the Series S has been very strong in HD and 2K gaming. I can't think of a game that doesn't run great on S at those lower resolutions. The smaller hard drive is maybe an issue, though. Either one is a solid console.

I had a similar problem a few months back. Went to the emergency room (blood clot fears). Discharged me with some pain pills and said go see a knee Dr. Did so. Found an old coot that drained a bunch of fluid from my knee, gave me a steroid shot and I was better that new. Asked him what it was and he said could be anything. Still good.

Same idea as a tens unit. You distract the pain path with some other stimuli. And, often, the pain is the result of some muscular kink somewhere other than your head to start with, and is "referred" pain, so you can disrupt that from another location.
At least that's how my neurologist explained it.

I have the same feeling as well and I know I'm on more than a few lists, too.
I'd feel a lot better if I had that passive geothermally heated greenhouse up and running right now but I don't. Five to seven harvests of a variety of fruits and vegetables per year would be a good thing to have in reserve.

If you have enough stored energy, in any form, to move a vehicle several hundred miles at highway speeds, you have enough to cause ugly things to happen if it all comes out at once.

Lithium will burn violently when it contacts oxygen (and even nitrogen). Gasoline and diesel won't necessarily burn in an accident; it does, but it is less likely to catch fire than a case where the lithium is in contact with air.
So, I would rather drive around in either a gasoline or a diesel-powered vehicle.

I have footage, actual old super 8 movie footage of one of my aunts wielding the spoon on easter at my grandmother's house when we were all kids. Its hysterical. The cousins were all in the spare bedroom, and all you see is the camera walking up to the door, and when the door opens all you see is total mayhem, kids gone wild. About 5 seconds later you see this wooden spoon move into the frame. It was my aunt holding it, but all you see is the spoon. My mother never used the spoon, so it was more of a threat to my cousins/her kids, lol. I have documented proof of the spoon in action.

Well, we have pretty good equipment and skills for extinguishing gasoline fires, and it's actually pretty uncommon for car wrecks to result in fire, Hollywood notwithstanding. And it's really, really rare for gasoline cars to catch fire spontaneously while parked, while there have been a number of instances of that happening with electric cars.

I guess in Canada's system a vote can fail without triggering elections, Trudeau was threatening to call elections and VF was suggesting the other parties didn't have cash on hand to handle that. The implication was that Trudeau thinks his party would come out stronger. I have no idea if that's true, and if it were, Canada's decent into oblivion can't be stopped any more than ours can, but we'll never know.

His government is crammed full of people pushing the really crazy stuff, and it seems a very large number of lefty voters are experiencing erections lasting longer than 4 hours over the emergency powers stuff.
Some of the things they have done already, and what they're promising to continue to do - these are not things you do when you think you will EVER lose power. Because if they let go of the tiger's tail there is a very real chance of getting lined up against a wall and shot. And I think the followers understand that too, hence the drive to crush people.
I don't think the progs are finished there until things get really kinetic and they have a Tiananmen moment. I mean a real one - gunning people down and finishing off the survivors, not just offing a couple of protesters here and there.
