That "Trudeauşescu" joke might be on its way towards reality -- Trudeauşescu is very unpopular with those who support the truckers. Okay, you expected that.

But xhe's almost as unpopular with those opposed to the truckers. Because these "liberals" are of course actually fascists, and want the truckers to have already been put in gulags.

Tucker's report below is worth the watch.

By the way, that old man did not honk a truck's horn. He only had a car. He honked a little car's horn. Meep meep. The cop shouted "Insurrectionist!" at him and roughed him up and arrested him.

The old man is in the hospital now from the manhandling. He's 78 and obviously frail. I can't imagine Joe Biden would hold up under that kind of abuse.

And they're doing more than that: They're going around doing snap child services inspections on truckers who have their kids with them, to intimidate them into leaving, suggesting they may take their children away if they don't. The Ottawa cops also announced on Twitter they would be collecting, without a warrant, all trucker's names, addresses, dates of birth, license numbers, insurance information, etc., all with the idea of intimidating them, suggesting they would have their licenses pulled and insurance denied.

American truckers are trying to get a convoy going just in time to get to DC by March 1st -- in time for Brandon's State of the Union.

Per NBC:

Officials are warning that a trucker convoy could disrupt the Super Bowl this weekend near Los Angeles and make its way to Washington, D.C., for the State of the Union, according to a Department of Homeland Security bulletin obtained by NBC News.
The bulletin, which described the possible protest as “aspirational,” said the convoy could cause havoc on transportation routes to other U.S. cities.
A possible destination is Washington, where President Joe Biden is set to deliver the State of the Union address March 1, the bulletin says.

The bulletin warning of a U.S. protest says there are no indications that violence is planned or that domestic extremists are calling for violence. But will there be mis-, dis-, or mal- information? That's what I'm worried about.

Sullivan, she would have done far more for the conservative movement - and for freedom - than she ever could have as McCain's #2. Just the other day a judge gave a less-than-recommended sentence to a black arsonist who set a building on fire and killed 5 people during the left's riots.

Judge explained that the arsonist/murderer's rage was justified, you see. He was upset about George Floyd -- the black man who wasn't murdered by cops, and he was also upset about all the other imaginary cop violence against blacks that doesn't actually happen, but that distorted "news" coverage routinely breathlessly reports is happening.

So this black guy murdering 5 innocent people in a fire was totes cool, because . . . shut up raaaaacist!

You would be appalled at the mandates in place in some provinces currently. Limiting the gathering in household inside and outside, the definition of fully vaccinated including children, not being allowed entrance into any public/business areas without a vax card.
It's only been in the last week (after 3 weeks of the truck rally) that some provinces have promised to start dropping some of the restrictions. In a week or month or come spring.

Look this convoy didn't start from nothing. These truckers were informed that in addition to the personal risk, time and expense to deliver goods that cities need, they now had to undergo an involuntary medical procedure that was pointless and even potentially dangerous in order to do their job, and show papers just to cross provincial borders.

They didn't protest over the lockdowns. They didn't protest over the masks. They didn't protest over quarantines. It was when it hit them personally right in their lives that they said "enough." Tyrants always push too far, and when they do, when they push people to the point they don't have much or anything to lose that it goes pear-shaped.

I think you are being overly pessimistic. First in that everyone who refused the shot is die hard conservative. It could very well be the vehicle for some to many to get out early. No way to know how many saw this as a chance to bail on a job they didn't like/want to do anymore and this was a get out of contract free opportunity.

Second no way to know how many bought into the idea that the shot was safe, effective and necessary early on, got the vaccine, so now aren't even being looked at for discharge, and otherwise are red blooded Americans who think this is all bullsh*t.

As I have always said - the US Military is well equipped to fight foreign engagements - it is decidedly not a domestic force, at all. If truck and farm rigs can shut off trade between two major western powers, they can damn well shut off fuel, electricity and supplies to every military base located here in the US.

But mostly, the US Military command would be unable to persuade their own personnel to conduct military operations against US Citizens. So, they would deny Punchy that option right from the get-go. I also don't think a lot of local LE would go along - so that leaves federal agents - DHS and FBI to do the work of trying to stop such a protest. This is not going to be sufficient for such an operation.

And truckers have a sort of special advantage when it comes to protests. Several, in fact.

Big rigs weigh 17 or so tons EMPTY. They are huge, taking up maximum allowable highway space. One or two the cops can handle, but thousands is too much for any law enforcement agency to deal with. If they invaded DC, it would shut the hell down and there's no hot zone to kill trucks and cart them away. Each one requires a fairly significant effort just to move.

Further, trucking is a pretty specialized skill that few people have. Each trucker you take out is one fewer truck delivering goods. You can't just gun them all down even if that were politically or historically feasible because who the hell is going to deliver the coffee beans to Starbucks then?

They wanted the FDA to allow them to get a head start and give kids started on the first 2 doses now, so when the data came back that the 3 rd dose gave an immune response, there would be a pool of kids ready and waiting for the 3rd shot. Gotta inject as many kids as possible before covid peters out and parents lose the fear. Except, the prelim data probably shows the 3rd dose is not provoking an immune response. They will probably tweak the trial and use a higher dose now.

I think that initially at least, most soldiers would follow orders and most who didn't want to would go along because their fellow military personnel are doing it. There's a reason that armies recruit and draft young men.

However, in time, they'd see more and more refuse, stonewall, slow-walk, or simply walk off base and leave to join the other side. It was a huge problem for the Brits in the Revolutionary War: their consigned and ill-treated troops would just shuck the uniform and leave.

I suspect that the military would send troops to other parts of the country rather than where they are presently based but still. You'd still be going after folks just like ma and pa. The initial training and comeraderie pushing you to follow orders would work but over time the doubts and discomfort and feelings that this was just wrong would definitely change minds.

A lot of people rolling to DC on any sort of convoy or protest aren't going to be in a mood to fuck around. We'll no doubt see some false flag attempts but I don't think the establishment understands that it doesn't matter who kicks it off.
