The Morning Report - 2/10/22

trutorconsqraiders.jpg

Good morning, kids. Thursday and in gliding by AOL Puffington, (yeah, I still have an AOL e-mail account after 20 years, so sue me) two headlines jumped out at me that are both illustrative of the agitprop whorehouse the media is as well as set up the top story. The first is actually a USA Today piece of turgid, pulp science fiction that makes Plan 9 From Outer Space look like 2001: A Space Odyssey in comparison:

You're more likely to die from COVID-19 in the U.S. than other high income countries amid omicron, data suggests

Complete horseshit. The second from Yahoo News is so laughable, not only for citing one of the most buffoonish poseurs in TV history, but for such transparently propagandistic verbiage that even the headline writer at Pravda during the Brezhnev era would've rejected it.

Geraldo Rivera supports Biden's plan to supply drug addicts with clean paraphernalia to save lives

Ho. Lee. Fook. I've seen headlines from Nazi-era newspapers after the Stalingrad disaster that seemed more believable in painting the 6th Army as victorious than the aforementioned dreck from Jerry Rosenblatt or whatever his Whoopi name is via Yahoo. Assuming you've stopped laughing and then vomiting from that, let us proceed. There's no point in excerpting either, but for those keen on self-abuse knock yourselves out and click the links. The latter is both damage control for yet another disastrous policy, causing the junta to both backtrack faster than a moonwalking Michael Jackson going up a down escalator as well as an attack on Marsha Blackburn for holding up a spending bill that includes this crap. The former, patently bullshit yet only marginally more subtle, is just more psychological warfare fear porn to scare the populace into wanting to continue lockdowns, face diapering and demonization of vaccine refuseniks in the face of the growing cries from all quarters to end the past 730-day-and-counting "two week" dystopian nightmare.

The operating word there is dystopian, or more precisely Orwellian. Along with everything else transmitted over the airwaves, internet and in print from the approved house organs of the anti-American pro-globalist Great Reset Axis, they're absolute disinformation, misinformation and outright lies. The problem here is anyone who calls them out on it or attempts to counter the message now has an official target on their backs, figuratively and as history has shown us time and again, eventually, literally.

MDM isn't the latest flavor of fentanyl, produced by the Communist Chinese regime for sale to Mexican drug cartels, and now the leading cause of death for Americans between the ages of 18 to 45. No, MDM stands for mis- dis- and mal-information, the latest government acronym from which you must be protected.

DHS' latest "Summary of Terrorism Threat to the U.S. Homeland," released Monday, has much to say about the dangers of American minds being polluted with MDM, and curiously little to say about actual terror threats.. . .

. . . under the latest iteration, DHS is no longer concerned solely with enemy lies spread abroad, but increasingly with information spread by "domestic threat actors" (read: American citizens). And no longer are they merely concerned with disinformation, false material spread to manipulate an opponent, but with misinformation, which DHS considers information that is false but not intended to cause harm, and "mal-information," which means information which is true but the government considers harmful anyway.

This raises the question of who put a government intelligence and law enforcement agency in the position of declaring not only what is true or false but also determining whether information is good or harmful for consumption by free citizens. Of course, no law prohibits American citizens of spreading information of any kind, whether true or false. . .

. . . Covering thought policing under the rubric of counterterrorism has another advantage too. It changes the discussion from whether a given idea is true or false, to whether it is safe or dangerous. Have concerns about election integrity, [Chinese] COVID-19 mandates, or school boards? You better shut up; such ideas are inspiring to terrorists.

Funny how the goons who hate-shake'd Andy Ngo and have an actual open hit out on him as well as the mostly peaceful terrorists from Burn Loot Murder Inc. who laid waste to dozens of cities and towns in the summer of 2020 are nowhere to be found on the DHS terrorism watch list. Joe Rogan? Madison Cawthorn and Donald Trump? James O'Keefe? Dinesh D'Souza? Louis Gohmert (and others spied on by Capitol PD)? Parents at school board meetings? Teachers brave enough to speak out against crackpot Jive Kampf theory? And so on and so on and scooby dooby dooby.

The combined federal law enforcement and intelligence entities, as Kyle Shideler alludes to in his piece excerpted above, whether out of ineptitude, inertia, or even worse, ideology, have dropped the ball time and time and time again in stopping real terrorism, foreign and domestic, from killing and maiming American citizens. Dubya and for sure Clinton are no saints, and 9/11 should have been a wake up call not only about the threat of Islamo-Fascism but in the government's total deaf, dumb and blindness to it. But Obama, in purging the military and installing an avowed communist and crypto-Muslim in John Brennan as the head of the CIA, was the bitter end.

Seriously, the fact that a federal law enforcement agency is even issuing guidelines to go after citizens in direct contravention of Amendment Number 1, the freedom of speech by labeling them as potential terrorists or promoters of terrorism/sedition/insurrection/what have you for merely objecting to or going against official government policies is a massive warning bell. If it isn't, you are not paying attention.

Meanwhile, in another sector of the Russian Front, as statues of everyone from Robert E. Lee to Teddy Roosevelt to Sacagawea with Louis & Clark to Mahatma-freakin'-Gandhi are being demolished, the bonfires are being lit. There goes Huckleberry Finn, there goes Maus, and there goes . . .

"I took a pack of Tarot cards. I had found out that they were very superstitious. On arrival at a commune I would ask for their astrological birth signs and tell them mine," Jillian Becker described her process of investigating the Marxist terrorist Baader-Meinhof Gang. . .

. . .The answers went into Becker's book, Hitler's Children: The Story of the Baader-Meinhof Terrorist Gang, and later into the archives of her organization: The Institute for the Study of Terrorism. The Institute closed down due to lack of funding a decade before 9/11 and the collected archive covering a range of Soviet-backed terror groups around the world was transferred over to the University of Leicester. Now it's gone missing even as the university has made the shift over to politically convenient wokeness. And Jillian Becker fears the worst. . .

. . . Beyond playing fortune teller to Marxist terrorists, Becker mentions "picking the documents out of the rubble of bombed PLO headquarters" in Lebanon.

"They were blood stained and soiled but legible," she recalls. "They went into transparent plastic covers to be photocopied before they could be translated and the translations filed. That was almost the only documentation there was about the PLO years in Lebanon to help me write that history."

That led to her next book on terrorism, The PLO: The Rise and Fall of the Palestinian Liberation Organization. Those PLO documents, like so much else in the archive, are gone.

What happened to them?

Two years ago, the University of Leicester informed a Republican activist seeking information about the archive that they had no idea where it was. An extensive search turned up nothing.

A response from a sociology professor informed her that the university, "prioritises collections in their care which are most pertinent to contemporary research and teaching", that a search for "material relating to the IST proved inconclusive" and that any material from the Institute for the Study of Terrorism "located in future will be appraised by a professionally-qualified archivist and, if appropriate, transferred to the care of our University Archives and Special Collections. . . "

. . . Becker blames the "woke academics" at the University of Leicester who "threw away the archive of the Institute for the Study of Terrorism (IST) -- compiled painstakingly over many years and often at personal risk by me and my fellow researchers -- as unwanted trash."

In her latest update she concludes that the archive. "recording thousands of instances of the savage crime of terrorism -- almost all of it by organizations on the Left, with support from the USSR and some from Communist China, through the Cold War years 1968-1990 -- was an affront to the ideology of the 'woke.'"

Becker sees this as part of a larger great erasure of information, ideas, and the entire western past. "Most universities in the Western world now are conscientiously trying to erase history."

As an aside, it should be noted that Antifa here and around the world is the creation of Baader-Meinhoff and their allies/associates. Its leaders either came directly from or were trained by and are associates of BM cadres. Don't be fooled by the freaks in the Portland PD mugshots; they are being directed and funded by organizations that have left a trail of violence and mass murder across the world for over 50 years. And what they started back then is coming home to roost right here and right now.

The only difference is at the very least the junta controlling own damned government will not lift a finger to touch them and perhaps are actively giving them aid and comfort as a means of political repression of the heretofore law abiding citizenry. But I digress. The erasure of our history goes hand in hand with the silencing of any and all voices of protest and opposition.

41 Combine that with the WH press conf that used 2 month old data for hospitalization.

The latency in reporting was a major reason why tracking C19 for my clients Quick Response was folly.

They wanted to have a way to know when to open offices to their employees and to the public. I told them to simply poll the emotions of their own staff - that most people are immune to facts and logic and run primarily on lizard brain and fear.

It was the hospitalization data that was the final straw. You are sort of correct; by the time data are collected, collated, submitted, processed, formatted, released and then revised is about a month. Then they kept changing the fields by adding, removing, combining, redefining, so that it was a fool's errand to try to plot meaningful trends - which would be a month old anyway in a fluid and dynamic environment.

The whole thing was based on fraud. This country generates a lot of people getting into the data science field and the government either directly or through funding has made the whole field an embarrassing joke and monstrosity.

68 Psaki says that "the CDC moves at the pace of data and science"

Its this kind of fucked up abuse of the language and metaphors that allows dimwits to respond as caged animals to government triggers.

The CDC is a bureaucratic rabbit warren of paper shufflers, ass coverers, activists and grifters. In a Publish or Die academic environment, worthless professors and researchers who don't have a purpose or reason for being look at their mortgage statement, realize how incompetent and unnecessary they are and then make up requests for funding from the CDC knowing full well that politicians use the CDC as an alleged third party authority to rubberstamp and approve the politicians sick and demented plans of spreading misery and suffering.

So they make some stupid pitch that just happens to support a narrative. The weasels at the CDC then fund it and pretend they are the authors and know what they funded.

Well, the author cites Yuri Bezmenov so it predates Clinton. It goes back perhaps to the late 50s when the Frankfurt School and Gramsci acolytes started taking hold.

My performance evaluation yesterday went well, though I did not tell my boss that I plan to be outta here in a few months. I'm still waiting for the HR people to call or write me about the retirement process. If I don't hear something today, I'll email some more of the headshots on the website.

Looking at remote, part-time jobs on Indeed, I see that many employers' definition of "part time" runs up to 30 hours a week. That's not something I want to get involved in right now. Once I leave my employer, maybe, but my idea was something more like 10-15 hours a week to supplement my income, not what amounts to a full-time job (though without benefits, natch). And some of them, even though the job is 100% remote, are still insisting on the vax craziness. If I see that, the employer is instantly off my list.

From the rest of the excerpt, it sounds like she fears that it was thrown away or destroyed because it was non-Left and non-Woke and therefore of no value.

That would be bad, but it would not be the worst. What would be far worse would be all those documents being retained and studied in order to develop training and methods for new woke terrorists. And since a contemporary university is essentially a terrorist training camp with a climbing wall and free condoms, that isn't outside the realm of possibility.

If they can't get that done, and I find that prospect pretty slim, McConnell will throw every roadblock he can at Trump. The majority of the GOP will go along with him too. If the GOP denies Trump a spot of the ballot then IMO Trump's political aspirations are done.

When I got the 'Vid, it started as brutal congestion (sinus pressure, couldn't breathe through my nose), turned into normal flu-like symptoms (sans fever, in my case), then it all cleared and I went back to congestion, albeit far less severe. If it doesn't clear up by Saturday, I'm going to ask for antibiotics because I might have a secondary sinus infection at this point.

I did all the usual and have added a bit of betadyne solution to my sinus/nasal irrigation. We'll see over the next couple of days if that works, but it isn't going to hurt and it might help.

156 the situation the Canadian Conservative Party finds itself in shows that, in times like these, it is far more effective to have a focused party that knows exactly what it stands for, than it is to have some "big tent" party that can never take a stand on anything because all of its parts are always at war with each other. That kind of thing works when the only "problem" is to figure out how to divide the loot they get from governing; but it is fatal at a time like this, when there are REAL problems that need solving.

157 All of them highlighted their willingness and ability to fight China.

I think the word "fight" is the linguistic equivalent of the kitchen junk drawer. There is all kinds of crap in there that you intend to throw out but your imagination is vivid enough that you can rationalize keeping it another day.

When they say they will "fight", which is something Ted Cruz kept saying to win his Senate seat, it ends up that "fight" means "post some snark on Twitter". So they may have all kinds of junk ideas - they are hoping that you have the imagination to find some possible utility in any of them and thus vote for them to do essentially nothing except snark on Twitter.

159 SAINT OF THE DAY
St. Scholastica (480--542 A.D.) was born in Nursia, Italy, to a noble Roman family, along with her twin, St. Benedict of Nursia. Their mother died in childbirth. Scholastica was dedicated to God as a child, and from a young age both siblings sensed a divine calling. They both entered religious life and established communities near each other; St. Scholastica led a convent near Monte Cassino where Benedict established his monastery. Because of the isolated nature of their vocations, the twins only met once a year at a local farmhouse to discuss spiritual matters. During what was to be their final meeting, St. Scholastica had a premonition that death was imminent. She asked Benedict to stay at the farmhouse so they could continue to visit, but he refused as it was forbidden in his monastic rule. Scholastica turned her request to God and prayed that her brother would stay. Suddenly a great thunderstorm erupted that made travel impossible, and Benedict was forced to stay. Scholastica died a few days later, and in a vision St. Benedict saw her soul leave her body in the form of a dove. St. Scholastica is the patron of nuns and against lightening, rain, and storms.

213 Just horning in again with a suggestion for the RC's and since I'm not one, take it for what it's worth. If you're praying for the truckers convoy consider asking for the intercession of St Andre Bessette-He died in the middle part of the 20th century, came from working class roots and lived in Montreal and was deeply devoted to St . Joseph-who is one of the "working class" Saints. Also, ask the intercession of Blessed
Fr. Jerzy Popieluszko. He was the priest for the Solidarity Movement in Poland and was murdered by the Communists. And we seem to always have this debate when the subject of the intercession of Saints come up. Some Protestants think that means you're praying TO Saints. It doesn't. It means you're asking them to pray to God for specific intentions. You're asking friends in heaven to intercede just as you would ask friends on earth to pray. And yes, of course that doesn't obviate the need to pray to the Lord. It's just that, in my view, we need all the friends we can get, and even Saints are designated for certain things I don't think they'd say "That's not my business. Speak to ___"

Well, considering where they are coming from, it may not seem that bad. Also, being so broken and dysfunctional, it will be much easier for them to live like they did at home, especially if they are criminals. There's no functional institution to stop them or pressure them into assimilating.

Also, it will more easily hide the true impact of Biden's immigration activities -- people already expect to read bad news out of Baltimore. If they were dropped into a smaller, cleaner, more lawful place they would draw a lot more attention.

One of the responses to the VAERS data is that it is low quality and someone that dies after getting the shot might not have died from the shot.

I was reading a study that looked into this - they examined 2600 deaths listed by VAERS and found that 86% of them were likely caused by the clot shot, and that most of those death certificates said the cause of death was COVID.

So not only are the official death tolls for COVID suspect in whether it is a death FROM vs WITH COVID - but many of them are complete lies.

282 Indeed, average weekly grocery shopping in now well north of 100 dollars.

The government tells me inflation is...7%?

I paid 20% more for thanksgiving dinner in 2021 then in 2020 (I bought the same package of food from the same store).

I'm paying 40% or so more in the grocery store now then last year, and home heating is up 50%.

Toyota has already announced that they are temporarily shutting down all of their Michigan manufacturing plants, since they can no longer obtain the parts required to keep them operating. This is going to spread, even if the MSM keeps working hard not to talk about it.

This could even turn into a general US-Canadian business recession if it goes on much longer.

That assumes wages and income keep up with inflation. Otherwise that mortgage still takes the same chunk out of the paycheck but is competing with energy, food, services, clothes and other non discretionary purchases.

But you say, "The house is appreciating" - yes indeed says the county tax assessor.

When I moved into the ATX area in 2001, a house I wanted was slightly out of reach at $330k. That same house is now on the market for $1.3M. (about $25k/yr in property taxes) It is more than 20 years older with all of the use and abuse, and I would have been taxed out of the house long before it reached that market value.

I love that movie, and I think it has become (easily) the most eerily prophetic of any of the 70's dystopian sci-fi flicks. At the time it was made, critics said "Oh come on, a world run by giant corporate powers, where governments don't really matter much anymore? That's ridiculous."

yeah. Not such a ridiculous idea now, is it?

The best part is how Jonathan answers this question: How does One Man maintain his integrity and his honor when *everyone* around him - his friends, his bosses, his society - have become thoroughly corrupt and are pressuring him to join them? What does he do, when he has no one to rely on but himself?

I speak to a coworker about the dangers of the vaccine, or speak at a school board meeting about the futility of masking kindergartners, and suddenly i am getting a call from the boss "The ethics committee held an emergency meeting about you, and recommend you should be terminated"

439 another thing I just read at SDA, a copy of a message from someone who says he's a mathematician who works in game theory. (anonymous) He talks about how Truckers have followed the "ink spot" model of instigating many small spots of trouble rather than just one big protest, which makes it local, decentralized warfare that relies on local support.

He then writes, in part: "Quite simply put, this is for the truckers to lose. If they can outlast the government, which may take as little as another week, they can break it. Trudeau needs to win every interaction to stay in power. All the truckers have to do is "not lose". A draw is always in their favor, and the situation in most places right now is a draw at best: the Mounties huff and puff, but so far they have not been able to deal with or disperse a single protest. That's not unsurprising, btw; truckers are using a tactic originally devised for naval warfare called "blockshipping", sinking ships to block a single strategic narrows or harbor entrance. There is literally no economic way of dealing with this tactic."

483 For most people, "two weeks to flatten the curve" began on March 16, 2020. We are now on day 696.

Open an Excel spreadsheet. Enter "March 16, 2020" into a cell, which will probably change to 16-MAR-20.

In another cell, type =Days(Today(),) where is the reference to the cell that holds your start date. Excel will automagically do the math for you.

486 Democrats want to KILL you, your children, and your grandchildren. They will kill ALL of your children, but suffice to say that your female progeny will fare far, far worse. YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

So if you vote Democrat, you vote for your granddaughter being brutally raped, passed around, then eventually killed.

487 351 It's Rollerball (1975)

First thing I thought of as well.

Never mind Idiocracy, I am more worried about Rollerball becoming the defining documentary of the era.

488 We have a friend who was on a flight from Paris to the US. She was a medium level exec at the time - she is now a CIO at a major corporation. At any rate, while she was on the flight, the man next to her put his hand on her thigh. She moved his hand, called the stew over and told her, "This man just put his hand on my thigh. You need to move him." The man pleaded ignorance, and the stew did nothing. A short time later, he did it again. Once again she moves his hand and tells the stew, "I'm not going to say this again - he did it again; you need to move this man or something bad is going to happen." Ignored once again. Later, the man places his hand on her thigh. She lowers the seat tray, grabs him by the back of the head and slams his head down, breaking his nose. The stews rush over and my friend says, "I told you if you didn't move him something bad would happen." We knew our friend from or Tae Kwon Do school where she was a 3rd Degree BB. She was also a Master in Jujitsu and the owner of five Jujitsu schools.

489 You're more likely to die from COVID-19 in the U.S. than other high income countries amid omicron, data suggests

Why is this a surprise? In Mexico ivermectin is available over the counter. Here the doctors will be delicensed if they do

Have your forgotten Muse? I cannot say I know his circumstances but I keep wondering how it would have gone if he was not in Oregon - a police state - and if he had gotten a chance at ivermectin.

No, I do not disbelieve this at all. We live in a fascist and evil country.

Do not conflate dying "from" and dying "with." Do no forget to take into account that the IFR of all forms of this virus is still about 0.05% give or take. The word "dying" does not mean mass deaths in the tens of millions as they want you to believe.

As for our dear departed friend OM, like other victims of this and every other respiratory virus, it's the co-morbidities and other factors that kill.

Most of all, as you correctly state, the withholding of proven cheap therapeutics was the real killer diller. And heads should roll for that.
