The Morning Report - 2/8/22

frankencuomo.jpg

Good morning, kids. Tuesday and two items in the links are quite illustrative of the arrogance, tone deafness and complete hypocrisy that is the Left. First, delusional gasbag Stacy "Tank" Abrams, after getting called out for planting her royal fat fatuousness down in the middle of a classroom full of masked children while she herself was unmasked lashed out by shrieking - you guessed it - "racism!" Meanwhile, with the last of yet another crooked New York DA's office making the world safe for greasy groping goombahs to once again shove their diseased salsicce at the nearest set of tits, Andrew "Angel of Death" Cuomo, nipple clips fresh from the polishers, emerged from his hidey-hole, railing against his persecution and declaring himself vindicated and, get this, ready to run for office once more.

The absolute unmitigated, chutzpocritical temerity of both these turds is just beyond the pale. Especially Cuomo. But when you have a corrupt justice system and a corrupt media ready, willing and able to provide cover, and the complete lack of self awareness, let alone ethics and morality of everyone involved, this is what you get. Most egregious is the sweeping under the rug of the 12-18,000 nursing home residents (we'll never get a real accounting will we?) Cuomo sentenced to death by forcing their residences to take in other poor elderly souls infected with the General Tso's Sickness. And I'm not even including Whitmer, Murphy and the others who did the same with equally lethal results. He, and they, committed mass negligent homicide or quite arguably mass murder by their actions.

The sometimes estimable Conrad Black (his FDR worship makes what's left of my hair hurt) ponders what's to be done come a hoped for day of reckoning for this and all the other depredations we have suffered these past few years.

The [junta] has policy disasters mounting and multiplying at every hand: millions are pouring across the southern border; while Biden struts and ponces about increasing employment, he ignores not just rampaging inflation but the fact of a shrinking workforce following the shutdown of much of the economy, which the Democrats demanded in 2016. Iran has apparently won the issue on nuclear development and, as in Afghanistan and elsewhere, the [junta] has effectively capitulated—another unambiguous defeat for the United States, following the Afghanistan debacle and the professions of solidarity between Russia and China over Ukraine and Taiwan. . .

. . . The [junta's Chinese] COVID strategy, built upon the Democrats' and their media allies' terrorizing the nation in the last Trump year in order to promote a massive shutdown and economic recession, has been rejected by most Americans and is now being scientifically assaulted as having caused more deaths than it saved. As the lockdown was debunked, Black Lives Matter has been exposed as a scam, as well as a largely terrorist organization. (Warm congratulations to useful corporate idiots like Jamie Dimon who funded them with the shareholders' money.) . . .

. . . The Democrats will be hammered in the congressional elections in nine months and in the meantime the convalescence of Senator Ben Ray Lujan of New Mexico deprives the Democrats of their paper-thin majority in that chamber, apparently until April. The comparative absence of President Trump from the public's attention has, in itself, reduced the teeming atmosphere that his enemies had promoted throughout his presidential term . . .

. . . This raises the great question of how to complete the settling down of American public life after evicting the incumbents and conducting a comprehensive 180° turn on virtually all policies of the Biden [junta]. So great is the rot and failure of the system that Trump attacked in 2016 that not everyone can be punished for their complicity in it. It will be a little like the Liberation of France in 1944 when General de Gaulle, recognizing that a high percentage of the population had been collaborators, executed a few of the more conspicuous traitors and serenely declined to notice the failure and often the treason of the others.

The day is now not far off when wokeness, American self-hate, foreign appeasement, and the indulgence of criminal and corrupt organizations like Black Lives Matter will end. When that happens, only the most egregious should be prosecuted; the self-inflicted wounds involved in pursuing all those responsible for the horrible crash of American public policy would require a decade of recrimination. The escalated use of the criminal justice system to resolve political differences took off with Watergate; it is about to reach its climax and the national interest requires that the temptations of comprehensive vengeance yield to the necessity for a more civilized political atmosphere.

Two things, emphasis mine above, show both that Black almost gets what's going on and then just loses it. Yes the rot is so utterly pervasive, both in and out of government. But what's all this about "vengeance" and even more ridiculous "a more civilized political atmosphere?" America as founded is dead and gone. Where we are now is in some nebulous interregnum where the illusion of regular order vis a vis elections, confirmation hearings etc. etc. may occur, but the corruption that has been exposed is now plain as day for those with eyes to see it.

First of all, what's insulting is Mr. Black admonishing us to not seek vengeance, as if making some sort of moral equivalency between us and the bastards who stole an election and are now fashioning our chains from the wreckage they have wrought. No sir. We do not seek vengeance; we seek JUSTICE. Will we ever get it is something that I would not bet on, all things considered. For what has been inflicted on us, life in Leavenworth without parole is the barest of bare minimum sentences that I can think of for probably at least several thousand people. And given the nature of the crimes committed, capital punishment would be quite justified in more than just a handful of cases.

Meh. Wake up from that sweet reverie, Sefton, and face the real world. It's not just the leadership and the party. It's the base that vote for these people election after election, the dead or non-existent among Biden's "81 million votes" notwithstanding. So, we miraculously overcome Dao-Min Yen and win control of Congress and the White House. What then? There's still an entrenched bureaucracy that is the de facto government regardless of who holds office and it's 100% about destroying/enslaving us. Worse, there is still a large segment of this nation that are on their side. At the risk of invoking Godwin, we're going to need to deprogram millions of people to prevent what took nearly 100 years to accomplish from ever happening again.

But, all that aside, there is cause for hope. What's going on up in Canada as well as in school boards and community boards across the land means at least a sizable chunk of the population know what's going on and are not happy about it. We're just going to have to ride things out while at the same time resisting this crap individually and in larger and larger groups. What comes after that, or how long will this go on I can't say. Stay angry and engaged is the best I can advise you.

46 At the minimum the Left and the modern Democrat party are a criminal enterprise. Their constant subversion and avoidance of following the constitution and laws of this country should disqualify them from pursuit of and holding elected office. As to Sir Black's opinions of vengeance vs Mr Sefton's of justice (of which I subscribe to) - the goal should be the absolution of the Democrat party and the eviction of the entrenched bureaucracy.
A pipe-dream - probably; but I'm of a mind to set the goal and then go about working towards it.
Anyway, that's my opening bid. Anyone who espouses it gets my full throated support.

They will just jack up local property taxes to cover the difference.

Understand this: Even if all of the schools were closed and all of the teachers and administrators fired, they would still have to collect nearly the same amount in taxes to cover the bonds, retirement/pension benefits for at least another thirty years.

85 Looking at JJ's headlines regarding the mask mandates it looks like they pressure is working. But they all now know that the kids are being damaged, both physically and mentally from this. They are slow walking it back but will never go full storm ahead on back tracking a lot of this control and humiliation tactics.

The problem they are faced with is that the emergency use authorization will eventually need to be recalled/revoked and then the lawsuits will rain down. They are trying to figure out how to get around all of this while depleting the supplies that cost them (taxpayers) with no ROI.

This is bad. They cannot admit they were wrong. They do not want to stop the submission of millions for they'll lose control. The gravy train stops and a financial backlash eminent.

95 great is the rot and failure of the system that Trump attacked in 2016 that not everyone can be punished for their complicity in it. It will be a little like the Liberation of France in 1944 when General de Gaulle, recognizing that a high percentage of the population had been collaborators, executed a few of the more conspicuous traitors and serenely declined to notice the failure and often the treason of the others.
++++
Yes, I agree with this assessment. I have said more or less the same thing myself. To get everyone with a hand on a lever of power - and the rot is that comprehensive and it does encompass every single person in government at this point - would require punishing 15 or 20 million people at a minimum. That can't be done and leave a country behind when it's all finished. It will need to be more like Nuremberg, where the worst people we can find are subjected to show trials and the rest go into hiding for the rest of their lives and tell anyone who asks that of course they were never committed Nazis and they never liked that Hitler guy anyway and it was all just psychosis and fear. Almost all of those people were lying, but it didn't really matter.

I hope that's true, not because it will make life easy but because it will make things so hard that someone will have to blink. Last week, I said I hoped the truckers would shut down Ottawa for a while and then if they don't get their way, that they move to Toronto and the critical MichiganOntario border crossings on which regional industrial activity in *both* countries depends. I hope they shut it down and keep it shut down. Let the industrial trade cease or have to route out through the west and New England at tremendous expense and lost time.

I think I am one of those "level-headed morons" you talk about, but I am not only fine with vengeance, I think it's a good idea. That's what show trials of the worst folks you can find are all about. It's symbolic, institutional vengeance that puts the rest on notice and proceeds with a veneer of civility so people don't have to call it retributive murder. It also makes it so you don't have to mete out vengeance on millions of people, which is something civilizations don't tend to survive very well.

Because Pinochet was, contrary to popular opinion, both smart and fairly humane. What Pinochet did was different from other dictators in that he did it all in public. Throwing people out of helicopters isn't exactly a subtle or private affair, and that's the point.

Pinochet *didn't* get every communist in Chile or even every communist in the Chilean government or in that country's academies. But it was a reign of terror targeted very tightly and performed very publicly to terrify and cow the rest into permanent silence (or make them flee the country, which many did). Pinochet took a direct and aggressive approach, but it served essentially the same purpose as the Nuremberg trials: punish the worst of them publicly and cow and silence the rest forever.

This is always true, and it is why I usually use Romania as the example of this. Ceausescu went from absolute and unquestioned dictator with limitless power to dead in a rural schoolhouse within two weeks and it was precipitated by the completely routine oppression of a priest. It was nothing special and it was nothing new, it was just the last straw and it ended him. Absolutely no one could have predicted the insane series of events that led to his fall virtually overnight.

The DNC understands that its base is made of infantile, mentally retarded, emotionally stunted fragile basement dwellers who are fully incapable of processing abstracts or a poly-variable equation that yields anything other than a binary result.

Stated another way: Their base can't handle hating more than one thing at a time. For eight years ALL of the trouble in the world was George W Bush. Then for four years ALL the trouble in the world was due to Trump. With Trump being banished from public and Rush Limbaugh dead, they need a new target of hate.

Joe Rogan is that ersatz icon - until they get rid of him since he too lacks the character to make it more than a few weeks with a little pressure.

Micro Blood Clots: How Both Covid AND mRNA "Vaccines" Harm and Kill People
https://tinyurl.com/44x4bfsc

An intriguing aspect of the pandemic getting little attention is the formation of microscopic blood clots throughout bodies. These are not easily found through conventional medical scanning and imaging technologies.
Know this: They result from COVID spike proteins that screw up fine blood vessels causing micro blood clots. The spike protein molecules from COVID infection are the same as what happens when COVID vaccines pump huge numbers of them into your body. So, vaccines create the same blood problem as COVID itself.
This article uses micro blood clots to explain three important pandemic problems:
1-Vaccine adverse health impacts, including deaths
2-A broad array of COVID infection illnesses and deaths
3-Millions of people with "long" COVID and diverse health problems

We might be. I would have guessed the end coming a lot earlier than this, so what the hell do I know. There is way too much debt everywhere and it has to be dealt with. It should have been dealt with long ago but eventually the matter will be forced. It all depends on how it unwinds.

If the debts just fail and get cleared, it will be deflationary. The monetary system will probably survive and cash will be king. Wages and prices will collapse, and it will happen across the board - everything from your house to paycheck will shrink dramatically in cash value. Imports will get very expensive or possibly even non-existent as currencies re-calibrate. The government will almost-certainly fail in some manner. It will be a disaster for at least five years and things get lean indeed. But that's the good scenario. In a worse case, the powers that be try to fix the problem and it all blows up and all currencies are destroyed, cash isn't worth anything, and new empires rise Mad Max-style.

The reason is that it's the one place the left has absolute power over compliance. Schools are little walled kingdoms, with small tight hierarchies of authority, and the students are powerless serfs.

I would guess this is actually a risk in most cars. With the weight requirement, the cost of wire and the amount of wire that goes into todays over-teched cars, it's inevitable. The installed wires are barely capable to carry the current required for the higher draw systems.

The messaging platform Telegram's popularity soars whenever there's a WhatsApp outage or WhatsApp changes its privacy policies.
Fortunately, there's social life beyond Facebook's fishnet. Telegram's founder, Pavel Durov, claims that it now has nearly 500 million active users, although that's still well short of WhatsApp and Facebook's alleged one-point-something billion.
But that doesn't matter. What matters is that Telegram is one of the best encrypted messaging apps, offering a cross-platform, cloud-based distributed messaging app that has no ads.
It's similar to Apple's Messages, but it's more reliable, has dedicated apps for all platforms -- PC, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS -- and it also allows you to set up secret chats with messages that can self-destruct, giving you a new level of privacy.

228 If the debts just fail and get cleared, it will be deflationary.

241 Conrad Black's proposed magnanimity has been tried, and has landed us where we are today. After the fall of the Iron Curtain, the Augean Stables of government, media and academe weren't cleansed of Marxist filth. It was felt that the complete collapse of all their certainties was enough; surely they'd "learned their lesson" and actually punishing them in person would be cruel. We didn't want to rub their noses in their failure; any intelligent person would now recognize the truth and that was enough. We could now all get on with building a better world.

That didn't work. These vermin just froze in position (probably waiting for the punishment that never came) and when they saw they were safe, reactivated the same old bullshit and continued with their gnawing and undermining. Now we're on the point of collapse. Every Marxist professor should have been dismissed and reduced to washing dishes, and the purge should have continued through the teachers' colleges. What this sort of "forgiveness" campaign really is is fainthearted shirking. The job ahead is difficult and unpleasant, and people like Black just can't face it. They want an easy path with no hard feelings.

290 The Winter Olympics are hugely problematic and represent the ethnocentric white supremacy of international organizations. Winter of the type required for winter sport occurs only in fairly narrow bands of latitude that are populated almost entirely by white and white-adjacent populations. Geographies naturally common to peoples of color don't have "winter" in that form and so are artificially disadvantaged during the Winter Olympics.

The maintenance of the antiquated and inherently supremacist Winter Olympics will only serve to perpetuate the "white is right" operational modality of the various international organizations, itself a carryover from European imperial and colonial eras. The Winter Olympics must be eliminated as a part of our global effort to continue advancing the cause of racial justice and equity and as we work to degrade and eliminate the unjust power structures imposed by the history of European racial colonialism.

I see this as well with the LIVs I know. They vote for the "good people" who then implement policies that fail and make their lives worse.

And if you point that out, you'll get an answer along the lines of "bad luck" or for left leaning LIVs, "the Republicans made it fail!"

Trump's argument of "what do you have to lose?" should be a strong one...if people actually understand that who their political leaders are actually has an effect on the quality of their lives but...many don't get it.

303 I've always assumed the issue with the clot shots is that after Fauci's COVID virus got out he desperately needed a solution.

mRNA has been the wonderdrug of the pharmaceutical industry for well over a decade - the problem is, that it was intended as a bespoke cancer treatment - that is, purpose designed for individual needs.

There is no mechanism in the FDA bureaucracy for testing and validation of such a treatment. Remember when FJB was talking about curing cancer? This is what he was referring to. Since it couldn't be tested by traditional means, the idea was to let vulnerable people get the mRNA treatments against C19 and the testing would be in the form of an EUA trial.

The Enemedia screwed that all up by going total FUD and terrifying the globe into making the shot a Life or Death matter. So instead of a limited "test" run, it ended up a massive free-for-all. Big Pharma was delighted to see that what was supposed to be limited is now a Must Have.

Then politicians invested late and wanted their cut in the action - now we have mandates to force the stock price up.

These are some of the actual examples Kaplan provided in the memo, the practical implications of which are patently absurd. Does the CEO really expect his employees to serve black guests, and only black guests, outside of normal operating hours, or to let them park illegally?

from 2007, discussing this

As we review the recent purchases of Gurus, to our surprise, both Warren Buffett and George Soros bought rail companies Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp. (BNI, Financial) and Norfolk Southern Corp. (NSC, Financial) during the first quarter. Warren Buffett started buying rail companies during the third quarter of 2006, and has been adding to his positions. By the end of March 2007, His investment company Berkshire Hathaway owns more than 34 million shares of Burlington Northern Santa Fe and more than 6 million shares of Norfolk Southern Corp. George Soros started buying both companies during last quarter. He owns a few thousand shares for both companies through his hedge fund, Soros Fund Management LLC. While Warren Buffett also bought another rail company, Union Pacific Corp. (UNP, Financial), Soros is already reducing his holding with UNP.
These three companies are among the largest railroad operators in the United States.

348 Solar is about $3 a watt with battery storage. About 5kw is about minimum for a Western lifestyle, and even that is lean.

I'm already looking at the lake as an integral part of the heat pump. Lots of tall trees, but the shop is out in the open and a large section of the roof is south facing. The HVAC is by far the largest consumer of power.

Not too long ago it was customary of the local charities to announce that "someone broke into our warehouse and stole all of the toys we were going to give to disadvantage kids for Christmas" The local TV would play this up into heartbreaking segment and the charity would see a flood of toys and money (mostly money) come pouring in just in time for Excessmass.

The USCP officer also noted a more detailed map of the building on a wall with red lines from the congressman's office to an exit with the word "fire". This is obviously a detailed arson plan.
