Morning again, peeple,
Willowed: Oh, another bit on WKRP: Dr. Johnny Fever is visiting Herb in the hospital. Herb has earlier complained about the hospital food, but Johnny sits on the side of Herb's bed and scarfs the dinner right down. As he's leaving, he takes the dessert plate, tips the green Jello *right into his hand,* and goes out with it. On another front, let's face it: Jan Smithers was lovely. But she was not a very effective actress. She herself admitted that the producers had to get her to speak more loudly, as she had a tendency to swallow her lines. In contrast, Loni Anderson played the *hell* out of her Jennifer Marlowe character and could be very funny. Posted by: Wolfus Aurelius at February 06, 2022 06:03 AM (c6xtn) 6

Breakfast: scrambled eggs with chili powder, Mrs. Dash spicy seasoning, and a bit of Tony Chachere's seasoning. Then some applewood bacon, cooked up extra crispy, with a dusting of black pepper on it as it cooks. I didn't quite get the bacon to that crisp, crumbly status I like. Maybe I need to re-try the "bake the bacon in the oven" method that I read about here in 2020.

Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby pleaded not guilty Friday to charges she falsely claimed a coronavirus-related financial hardship to withdraw thousands of dollars from her city retirement fund in relation to vacation home purchases in Florida.
Earlier last month a grand jury indicted her on two counts of perjury and making false statements on a loan application to purchase the vacation homes. She also allegedly failed to disclose past unpaid federal taxes on the mortgage applications. She pleaded not guilty to all four counts, FOX 45 of Baltimore reported. My guess? We also have learned, to no one's surprise, that the Biden administration might have lied to us about the number of Americans they initially abandoned in our ignominious and shambolic exit from Afghanistan. As Miklos knows, Da Swamp has peculiar pronunciations. Burgundy Street, for instance, is "Bur-GUN-dee" instead of "BUR-gun-dee," "CAL-ee-ope" instead of "Cah-LIE-oh-pee," "MEL-pa-meen" instead of "Mel-POM-eh-knee," etc. And people who've lived here for years still want to pronounce Carondelet Street as "Cah-RON-de-lay" instead of "Cah-RON-de-let." The guy was Spanish, not French.

Sort of akin to Saudi Arabia rationing gasoline at their pumps. ___________ We were at Rural King the other day and my wife went to look at the chicks. She comes back and says "they don't have any!" Saw "Last Night in Soho" last night(!).
It was very good, but not great. Technically, it was a knockout. The two main actresses, Thomasin McKenzie and Anya Taylor-Joy, were great. As was old Mrs Peel. The plot line doesn't quite fit together and make sense. But, if you pay close attention and squint, it almost does. The writer/director's politics(?probably) softened the reveal and twist so that when they came they didn't have the impact that they should have. Check it out. Though "LNiS" isn't going to be the movie you think it will be from the trailers and commercials. A dash more Argento to the mix would've really helped it out. Still there. And heading down 13 toward the Bay Bridge Tunnel there are three more major processing plants as well. Mrs VIA would always feel bad following the semi's loaded with chickens heading to the processing plants. I tried to tell her to look at it as they were getting to go on a field trip, instead. 93 I grew up outside Washington DC. It was common for us to hit the bar scene in Georgetown then drive down to the Mall and check out the monuments. No crowds. Open all night. Nobody would hassle you.
