The Morning Report - 1/31/22

shuckjivetrudeau.jpg

Good morning, kids. Last day of January (already?) and, once again we have a link-apalooza to begin the week so let's dive right in. Top of the heap for me is the situation to the north of us in Canada. The most shocking things over these past "two weeks" - now almost in its 100th week in real time - are how what we thought were the freest societies on earth, places like Australia, New Zealand and Canada are rapidly transforming into dystopian police states. While things are bad enough here in the nation formerly known as the United States of America, we're not quite at the level those places are. Yet.

The other shocking thing is how so many millions of people in those nations and the rest of the so-called free world, having known nothing but life in a free society, were not only so easily duped into surrendering their freedoms on the pretext of safety and security, but how many have gone out of their minds in using this situation to claim absolute moral authority over anyone who openly stated they smell a rat (or pangolin as the case may be), and act as de-facto Stasi/Gestapo agents in silencing them. That said, the trucker convoy up in the great white north gives reason to hope that all is not lost.

It’s hard to overstate the import of the Freedom Convoy that on Saturday arrived at Canada’s capital city, Ottawa.

After six days spent crossing Canada, a convoy that began as a protest against mandatory vaccination for truckers who travel to the United States was expected to arrive in Ottawa late Saturday afternoon, with its members and supporters airing a wide array of grievances.

The loosely organized “Freedom Rally” or “Freedom Convoy” of trucks and private vehicles had set off from British Columbia, and ebbed and flowed in size on the way to the capital, where the police braced for an unpredictable weekend of protests. In recent days, the convoy was joined by other, smaller groups from south and east of Ottawa as well as the national capital region itself.

The movement has attracted people opposed to all pandemic restrictions, others who want Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to step down and some who simply dislike government.

On Friday, Chief Peter Sloly of the Ottawa Police Service declined to say how many protesters the force expected to converge on Parliament Hill. His department said that they were coming to the capital in eight different streams.

“The demonstrations this weekend will be unique, fluid, risky and significant,” he said at a news conference. . .

. . . Everyone who no longer wants to sacrifice individual liberties and personal choice on the altar of misguided pandemic response is a Canadian trucker now.

Except the “elites.” They are not handling the influx of regular citizens demanding their God-given rights terribly well. CBC host Nil Koksal blamed the Russians for the historic convoy while speaking with the Canadian Minister of Public Safety, Marco Mendicino.

“I do ask that because given Canada’s support of Ukraine, in this current crisis with Russia, I don’t know if it’s far fetched to ask but there is concern that Russian actors could be continuing to fuel things, as this as this protest grows, but perhaps even instigating it from from the outset.”

. . . Where is Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in the midst of this celebration of personal freedoms? Citing security concerns, Trudeau and his family are reported to have left Ottawa for a secret location. Of course, the rally has turned out to be peaceful.

Yeah, it's a Russian plot. Pfft. Given who Trudeau and the media are, it's actually a communist plot. The thing is, what the truckers up in Canada are doing is dangerous, yet absolutely necessary. As we all know, the only people who participate in mass protests are in the main the bought-and-paid for professional agitators and thugs of the Left. Ordinary people are too busy being engaged in trivial bullshit, like work, raising families and paying taxes. But what happens when you wreck an economy, destroy national security and turn society on its head? Suddenly, these very same people who want nothing more than to be left alone to work, raise a family and build a legacy no longer have the ability to do so thanks to the insane policies that have wrecked the economy, national security, personal safety and turned society upside down.

When you take that away, then all bets are off. You better believe that the fiends in the Klain Kalorama Komintern are shitting a brick watching what these truckers are doing in Canada. If the vast majority of Americans decide to do the Atlas shoulder shrug, oh boy. But just like the assholes down here in the lower 48, what did Trudeau do in reaction to this? Poured gasoline on the fire.

On Sunday morning, the day after the massive Freedom Convoy arrived in Ottawa, Canada, to protest vaccine mandates that would force unvaccinated Canadian truckers crossing into the United States to quarantine once they’ve returned home, the CBC reported that the Transport Minister for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government stated that there was “working being done” to implement interprovincial vaccine mandates for truckers.

Meanwhile, while the truckers arrived in Ottawa, Trudeau and his family reportedly fled their home and moved to an undisclosed location in the city.

Asked about claims that his vaccine mandates were causing supply chain disruptions, Trudeau stated, “I regret that the Conservative party and conservative politicians are fearmongering to Canadians about the supply chain, but the reality is that vaccination is how we’re going to get through this,” The Guardian reported. . .

. . . Jay Hill, a former Conservative member of Canada’s parliament, stated of the Freedom Convoy:

"This thing has really taken on a life of its own. The vast majority of the people that have either come on board to participate in the truck convoy or those donating to support it financially have just reached a point of frustration and exasperation with these lockdowns and continuation of restrictions that they want someone to speak up and say 'enough' to the federal government."

I don't know what the equivalent of the FBI and DOJ are in Canada, but you better believe they are already cooking up some sort of Reichstag Fire plot. A sane response right now would be for the Trudeau government to admit defeat, walk back these insane mandates and let life go back to normal. Of course, that is not going to happen. It would be a political disaster not just for Trudeau but for his entire party that could put them in the political wilderness for a generation. While Justin Trudeau may or may not be the actual bastard child of Fidel Castro, his mindset and political pedigree are a figurative genetic match for the mass murdering Minnesota Twin washout. He's part of the globalist cabal that is hell bent now on, for lack of a more delicate, not so "hairshirt" sounding way to put it, essentially enslaving the world, with the Chi-Coms at the top of the heap.

So now, having failed at a total embargo of the story, the media is now in full demonization, Putin-ification of the truckers and all who support them. I surely hope they keep the pressure on and not back down. Trudeau's move to now demand vaccination for truckers driving within the provinces is not exactly helpful. I hope this kind of sentiment spreads down here.

Perhaps it will. Dangerous times. But there's no going back now.

Nice, but just a little off target.

These people are themselves saying enough to the federal government. They want the government to crawl back in its box. Just like we want ours to do.

23 One of the articles (I believe from the London Times) I saw quoted in a post described the scene in Ottawa as "chaotic" in a very sneering tone. It was obvious that the writer thought all protests should be orderly, regulated, and best done with maximum goosestepping.

Justin Trudeau, Family Moved to Secret Location During Anti-Mandate Protests

Why? Unlike BLM and organizations Castraeu endorses, these protestors are fighting for their jobs, freedom and normalcy - not burning down buildings, killing cops and physically destroying livelihoods.

How do we manage to find the most insane and corrupt people to tyrannize us with relative impunity?

Elias, who styles himself as a defender of democracy, but he was reportedly involved in funding Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm that created the fraudulent Russia "dossier" on Trump that fueled efforts to overturn the 2016 election. He is known for attempting to overturn close elections in Democrat's favor - even claiming, in 2020, that there were faulty voting machines in a congressional race, a claim that Democrats ridiculed when made by President Donald Trump about his race.

He's also responsible for the push to disqualify Republican candidates for supporting "insurrection".

Remember: anything proposed by a Democrat that sounds insane today will be standing policy tomorrow.

31 This will be fine:

"Things for 2022 are interesting (and scary). Input costs for things like fertilizer, liquid nitrogen and seeds are like triple and quadruple the old prices. It will not be profitable to plant this year. Let me repeat, the economics will NOT work. Our plan, is to drop about 700 acres of corn off and convert to soybeans (they use less fertilizer, and we also have chicken manure from that operation). Guess what? We are not the only ones with those plans. Already there is a shortage of soybean seeds, so we will see how that will work out. The way I see it, there will be a major grain shortage later in the year, especially with corn. I mean, we are small with that. What about these people in the midwest who have like 10,000 acres of corn? This will not be good."

It's shouldn't have been a surprise; we've just allowed ourselves to forget the ugly side of our heritage, because it was comfortable to do so. The reason Orwell's "1984" resonated so convincingly is that there has *Always* been a strong desire for Totalitarianism hiding inside British Government, and all of its political offspring. That's why our Founders broke away and resolved to create an entirely new system, one that rejected the system they'd been living in completely.

There were a tiny handful of signs that equated forced vaccination, lockdowns etc. TO the Nazis' methods, NOT praising the Nazis. And there was one WW2 red Nazi flag that was at Ottawa's most-expensive hotel that's used by elites so hardly likely to be a genuine trucker involved in that one.

48 "Moral disagreement isn't some perverse feature of modernity. Human societies have always wrestled with different perspectives and come to different conclusions."
Why We Can't Split the Difference on Culture

Sort of like disputes over the Ten Commandments. The document has been around longer nearly all moral lists, yet people of good faith can't seem to outline what is considered "false witness", "murder", "honoring parents", "stealing", and "coveting".

Does the commandment against "murder" prohibit capital punishment, war and self-defense? "honoring parents" include step? parents who abandon? those who are mean? And to what extent of honoring? Blind obedience? Call them every once in a while?

So if even the most simple values that have been around for most of the span of human history, and studied by literally billions of people with good faith and intentions can't agree - what about utterly corrupt and filthy liars and perverts when allowed into the exchange?

55 2 0f 2 Protesters in Ottawa jumped on Tomb of Unknown Soldier and defaced statue of Terry Fox.

There was one person [skinny, young guy] who stood on it for literally just five seconds [BTW, I think a guy standing next to him, maybe on the plinth, had a Quebec flag scarf] -- there weren't dozens of people on top of it as the 'report' implies and a heading of a TV video report literally calling it "dancing" is a lie when the guy only struck a Rocky-esque pose for a few seconds. He got down quickly. I suspect after being told by genuine protester to get off of it.

And the "defacement" of the near life-sized Terry Fox statue was putting a Team Canada baseball cap on its head, a Canadian flag around its neck like a scarf/cape, and putting two Canadian flags -- one on a pole and one on a hockey stick -- through one of its arm openings as if he was carrying/waving the flags. The few seconds of video CTV/CP24 showed also showed a guy with one of the F*CK TRUDEAU flags beside the statue. I understand from leftist twatter feed of Ottawa's Liberal Party mayor that the cops stopped it quickly so that too only lasted a few minutes.

72 Corn for example, typically takes about 600 pounds of fertilizer per acre, plus 50 gallons of liquid nitrogen.

Both derived from petroleum, spread on a field, used to grow corn which is heated with fossil fuels and distilled into ethanol for "green" fuel. Neglecting to mention all of the fuel burning machinery used in intermediate steps.

It would be interesting to see a calculation of the oil needed to make 1 gallon of ethanol.

In all seriousness, remember how the Kavanaugh fight played out. Fighting is necessary, but fighting *stupidly* is catastrophic. Dems got their heads handed to them because of how stupidly they played the Kavanaugh hearings, and making things up that are easily disproven is a prime example of what NEVER to do.

There ARE smart ways to oppose Biden's actions; for example, Janice Rogers Brown should be brought up instantly anytime this is discussed. Biden's ham-handed prioritizing about Race over all else should always be pointed out. Unless there is something outrageous that we can get a handle on, ignore the actual nominee - focus attacks on the source of the Evil, Joe Biden.

The answer here in WI is no. There is a disease in our deer herd called Chronic Wasting Disease. Hunters are encouraged to bring the carcass of any deer exhibiting symptoms to the DNR for testing. Also, during gun season, the dnr deploys teams to various places where hunters gather to ask people to volunteer samples.

For ducks, I don't know what behavior would trigger taking one to the dnr. They are dirty and disgusting when healthy.

"Higher Education" knows that the name of the game now is to get as many butts in seats as possible, so that they can all get government student loans and that sweet, sweet cash can keep flowing in. The more unprepared they are, the longer they'll be stuck and the more they'll pay. And those who drop out - what a sweet deal that is for the schools! They get a couple of years of big payments and give back absolutely nothing in return.

For the vast majority of students, "Higher Education" has become one of the greatest scams ever concieved. Young people are absolutely right to be angry about it; but they aren't smart enough yet to have figured out just who is doing the scamming.

The true reason for the ethanol mandate is quite simple, even though it is never discussed - it is the Tribute that the two major political parties have been forced to pay in order to get the official support of the farm states. That's why no politician on either side will speak out against it, even though it is financially and ecologically disastrous.

It's more than that. Graham is despised by many people here. Thousands who don't believe in his lies.
But he has 2 elements that work in his favor. His enormous war chest come election time and our open primaries, where Democrats routinely cross over and vote for him (knowing it's highly unlikely a D will win in the state...at this time). His incumbency always gives him the upper hand when in a primary with 6 or 7 unknown small potatoes candidates. It's always the same. At best, it's a run-off if he doesn't get 50% of the primary vote...wherein he always wins because it comes down to him, or a Democrat. We're boxed in and he knows it.

145 The true reason for the ethanol mandate is quite simple, even though it is never discussed - it is the Tribute that the two major political parties have been forced to pay in order to get the official support of the farm states. That's why no politician on either side will speak out against it, even though it is financially and ecologically disastrous.

If either party comes out against it, the farm state establishments (men like Chuck Grassley) say "well we'll join the other side then". And in a country balanced on a political razor's edge, that's a risk that cannot be taken.

If I understand it correctly, ethanol is energy-dense in terms of things that aren't fossil fuels, but manufacturing it is also energy-intensive. If you manufacture it from non-corn things, it can be better. Sugar beets (which they use in Brazil, IIRC) have a much better overall return than corn.

Will they pay those that got covid but stayed home to care for themselves? The days and weeks they took care of themselves and not relying on the hospitals?

This is all about a very failed and fragile health care system in Quebec - they are already begging foreigners to come replace the nurses and hospital staff that quit. Same as in the US, replacing those that disagree with foreigners. They have bigger hurdles in Quebec due to the language crap. I saw a chart showing the number of beds per people in Quebec has been reduced to almost nothing due to the expensive health care system. 198 When he tells the world about the threat of Russia, while Russia itself makes no threats, Putin gains an advantage at negotiations.

The Anti-Americans have always done that. Within the CIA and State Department, the legions of traitors and saboteurs in their ranks always over-estimated the economic and war making potential of the former US's adversaries.

The Biden junta is doing the same thing. It is an absolute guarantee that Puddinghead's advisors are all pro-communist, pro-totalitarian, pure miseoAmerican and are just waiting for Amazon to deliver the white flags/

The other problem is that you get about 80% of the mileage that you get from a gallon of gas. So YAY IT'S CHEAPER!!! except it isn't.
It's sort of weird how the universe has a law that governs all of that stuff.
Posted by: Moron Robbie - N95 masks are respirators and are single use at January 31, 2022 08:22 AM (hsOar)

Yup. Think of it this way.
When you convert a molecule of ethanol to CO2 and H2O, ie. burn it,
you get much less energy(heat) than if you convert one of the molecules in gasoline.

Kinda simplified but that basically it.

BONUS! It takes more energy and money to grow and harvest and transport and convert ethanol to be usable in a car per unit "heat" released, than it does for gasoline. It's a stupid waste all along the process unless you have nothing better to use for cars, and we do.
However, it does generate a lot of graft for Our Betters. So, that's good, right?

Seat belts on high mass vehicles doesn't make sense. But I see your point that if the System requires one worthless avatar of safety, then why stop there and apply another worthless token of safety?

The main difference is that seat-belts come out of the school budget and there is less money for the usual grift and corruption (adding seatbelts means bringing in more grifters to claim part of the loot). Masks, OTOH, are a burden placed on others, so they can have their vanity and sadism without any extra costs.

Both derived from petroleum, spread on a field, used to grow corn which is heated with fossil fuels and distilled into ethanol for "green" fuel. Neglecting to mention all of the fuel burning machinery used in intermediate steps.

I was hanging outside the classroom where Junior has his Sunday school yesterday (they're prepping for their first communion/confessions), and I was on my phone while a small group of four parents who sort of know each other were talking a few feet from me. Led by the two major Karens of the class' parents, it was just nonstop covid talk. Non-stop.

They were talking about how one of them got covid but not very sick (thank the vaccine!), how it's a massive inconvenience that they have to keep kids at home because daycares are shutting down with single positive tests, even if the kids themselves test negative. It was a fucking mania.

And I'm just standing about ten feet away, sans-mask, and not dead, while Junior is inside, sans-mask, and not dead.

"Where were the protests when people were required to get five vaccines to start schools? They were in the doctor's office getting vaccines ... They've become what they hated ... what they mocked ... It is a cult"

**

Yes. Spread this around.

Let people know that the reason the vaccine is available as a commercial product - with lots of praise and spiking of footballs, remember - but still being injected under the EUA is because they need to get it on little kids' routine vaccination schedules so that the commercial product is protected from lawsuits and damage payouts.

Because that's what's happening.

279 I hear there is some new variant making it's appearance. Just in time to replace the omicron. Amazing, just like clockwork.

At any given time there are literally thousands of varieties of viruses and bacteria floating around that, if taken in sufficient numbers to overcome the immune system, would be making us all sick.

There has been no year without a cold and flu season. Respiratory viruses mutate all the time and in a window of time that is long enough to get traction yet short enough that frustrates any sort of targeted vaccine development and distribution.

Posted by: Reuben Hick at January 31, 2022 08:52 AM (lD3vL)

280 The whole idea of "the hospitals will be overwhelmed" has carried with it the stench of the failure of socialized medicine. Hospitals were never overwhelmed in the USA.
Posted by: Revenant at January 31, 2022 08:38 AM (PHukT)
++++
More important, it carries with it the stench of bad assumptions. If we go back in time to February/March of 2020, the entire rationale behind "two weeks to flatten the curve" was two-fold:
1. Spread won't be stopped, but it can be slowed.
2. We need to slow the spread to avoid overwhelming hospitals, because this looks pretty damn serious and will cause a lot of hospitalization.

Almost immediately, it became clear that point #2 was not justified. It took longer for the data to put paid to assumption #1, but the real reason for everything - avoiding hospital availability problems - was clearly not a reasonable concern and this was made clear very early. The moment it became obvious that we weren't going to have a hospital capacity problem, the extreme COVID response lost all justification. This was unavoidably clear by Easter of 2020. So they moved the goalposts and made it about controlling viral spread and kept the con going.

But then we listed all of those we know who had serious or fatal responses after taking the vaccine.
- 1 heart attack, but lived
- 1 Creutzfeldt-Jacob death
- 1 very young healthy relative who formed massive cysts all over her reproductive system (forced to get jabs due to work - as a NURSE)
1 - work associate took first jab, went blind (could only see light), doctor said, "it's not the jab" and told him to get the second. Like a fool he did, now dead.
1 - close relative got both jabs and then the booster, within one week of the booster, in hospital for something they cannot define. Respirator, out for a month. Just was taken off of tubes and resp and in rehab. He lived. Not covid positive.

The idea that the hospitals would be overwhelmed comes from worst-case scenarios in the most congested hospitals within a Universal Care country.

Just-In-Time inventory was not unique to manufacturing and retail but MBAs apply that to hospital beds too. Keep your expensive staffing just at the level to maintain a high level of occupied beds and very few available. Available means empty with staff just standing around.

The idea is to ramp up staffing to keep up with dynamic changes in hospital usage. The demand curve in a "bad" flu season often overwhelms the supply curve of care and even in well run hospitals you get patients in the hallways receiving treatment and less experienced staff freaking out over the situation. In 2018, we had overwhelmed hospitals due to that heavy flu season.

341 so this past weekend we finally got a little bit o snooooo

which was great! we went up north and Saturday was AMAZING because not that many people "ventured out" (derp it was a few inches of snow!) and it even snowed a bit that day. Sunday was cold but bright - unfortunately already getting "east coast icy" but still great.

wtf is going on with people around here tho?!?! we should be used to snow. this year we really haven't gotten any. all the news reports and crap about "watch out! it will snooooo!" made me livid. I mean it worked out b/c the slopes were quiet but PEOPLE WTF

it's JUST FREAKING SNOW

How insane is it that we have all these studies showing how ineffective and dangerous the vaccines are, and yet the governments of the world continue to force people to get them?

The vaccines are literally killing kids, and they are killing adults, and they are increasing all kinds of diseases. There is a military study linked at Insty's that shows how much the incidence of certain conditions have increased since the vaccines started, compared to an ordinary 5-year period. It shows every one of them up by huge numbers, myocarditis, pericarditis, multiple sclerosis, etc. -- all increased by hundreds of percent.

Of course whoever it is will be confirmed, so we should manage our expectations. The goal should not be to stop it (impossible) but to use regular order and force the confirmation to take up a lot of Senate time, thus stopping them from getting back to trying to get some part of BBB through. All that needs to be done is to make it last til the end of summer, after that it will be too close to the election for anything to pass.

If Schumer and the Senate dems are allowed to have a lot of free time on their hands, there's no telling what devilry they will pursue.

Mitch is effectively majority leader now with Manchin being a Republican in all but name. He has tight control of his caucus and always has. If the nominee sails through, it's not because of Democrats, it's because of Mitch.

He doesn't need the left to win re-election in WV. His approval in WV increased by 9 points when he killed the leftist agenda of the Congress.

And the show elements are kind of the point. Remember the conclave between Manchin, Murkowski, Graham, and Collins about who was going to vote for and against Kavanaugh? It was a foregone conclusion, they just set up their votes in a way that benefited each one individually.

It really is all up to Mitch, but IF Mitch wants to torpedo this for fundraising/midterm reasons, he can. Manchin has proven he wants the WV electorate to think of him as an effective Republican. He's no conservative, but he's created the image that the rubes in WV are swallowing whole. Joining up to pass the SCOTUS nominee with a united GOP against just proves that he's a Biden puppet anyway. It really all depends on Mitch.

Traffic works like a zipper. The vast majority of drivers either don't understand this or actively hate the idea of it. I routinely see people floor it headed into traffic circles so that another driver won't "cut them off"

478 ALSO the circles take up a LOT of space in cities or towns. it's just incredibly dumb the new ones they've put in here. Lititz PA (cute small town) now has one on either side of town. They had to take down historic buildings for it?!?! why?!?! the traffic there is light and the normal intersection worked just fine.

Its just the groundwork necessary to clear up the spaces where the next project is to erect statues of the politicians who put in place the traffic circles.

480 I treat them as a challenge to get my car through them as fast as possible. If the tires aren't screaming, you're not pushing them hard enough.

So you are the one who has perfected "drifting" the traffic circles.

482 Traffic circles are racist and rooted in white supremacy. They resemble a noose.

We will replace them with traffic squares.

Because the selfishness of the average human as increased 1000%. The zipper method is obvious and highly successful when implemented, but look at every freeway with a lane closure. No one lets anyone in because they don't want to give up their spot in line.

It's tardive.

Sort of like Stop signs in CA.

yeah, a lot of people don't realize the person in the circle has the right of way.

Outside of town, on a heavily used secondary road, from where I used to live, a 4 way stop was replaced by a large traffic circle. It worked really well to keep traffic moving

487 for the locals here - the funnest part of the new South Philly (massive) traffic circles is that BOTH feature an adjacent Wawa Superstore.

this adds to the danger/excitement immensely.

for some reason going to a Wawa turns people evil in the parking lot and feeder roads, but super-polite in the store part. It's a really bizarre thing you will find all over the state. The same person who holds the door for you going in to the store, will t-bone you when you try to drive in to the lot.

do not get me started on people driving diagonally across a parking lot at 35 mph, because they can't be bothered to drive down the lanes like normal people.

489 Eh in my burg the circles work great and have reduced wait times tremendously. The biggest benefit is safety. Worst you can have in one is a fender bender, which eliminates all the T-bone crashes in traditional intersections with people running red lights and shit.

491 There's a traffic circle by John Carroll University. Somehow drivers have a hard time processing that if they're in the far right lane they have to turn right and not cut in front of cars to the left.

492 It seems that a correctly sized and designed traffic circle, in a proper location works far better than a stop sign or traffic light.

A traffic circle is intended for an educated and moral society.

It will work for no other.

That circle is so large I can't imagine why drivers have an issue with it. But they do.

494 371 Report: Federal Infrastructure Funds Were Not Allocated for Collapsed Pittsburgh Bridge
Posted by: SMOD at January 31, 2022 09:09 AM (RHGPo)

More importantly:
1. Bridge rated in poor condition by PA DOT
2. PA did not schedule it for repair
3. PA legislature diverted $4.6 billion to State Highway Patrol 2012 to 2018. Money that had been collected via gasoline taxes for the purpose of repairs. State gasoline tax is 57 cents/gal.

It's not a federal infrastructure issue.

496 what we thought were the freest societies on earth, places like Australia, New Zealand and Canada are rapidly transforming into dystopian police states.
--------

Who thought that? I suppose if you don't travel or know anyone in these places, you just bop along believing what you're told by the Legacy Media.

I used to travel extensively for work. Not just around the US, but Canada, Mexico, Australia, China, Russia, South Africa, Sweden, Germany, and Italy.

When it comes to Canada and Australia, I watched it happen. Right after they gave up their guns in Australia, things became rapidly worse. Fines and jail time for speech came right on the heels of gun confiscation.

Guns are the only thing keeping Americans free right now. The threat of a violent revolution is the ONLY thing keeping us free.

"Infrastructure" is ALWAYS code for "government spending". And it's rarely spent on what the average mouthbreather considers infrastructure.

The ignorance of the average American when it comes to History, Economics, and Civics is really astounding. I get that most weren't taught anything relevant or useful in school, but don't any of them make the smallest attempt at educating themselves?

Government spending never "helps the economy". It always makes it worse. Government doesn't "run the economy". You ARE the economy. Everyone around you is. That's why there are no "non-essential workers".

Government cannot solve social and economic problems. It can only exacerbate them.

I don't take flu shots (have a natural resistance to type A flu via an HLA gene) and I'm never taking a COVID shot based on cooption of whole-body cell machinery to produce spike protein.

This scares the shit out of me. It'd be too easy for those in power to weigh the scales in favor of leftist "rights". The problem is not the Constitution, but those who swore to uphold and defend it, with no intention of keeping their oaths.

Agreed. Even if an Article V implemented all of Mark Levin's proposals, our so-called leaders lack the morality and ethics to follow any of it. Plus, the Bureaucracy is not going to willingly agree to being abolished.
