The Saturday Night Joke

In 2021 we covered the start of this story. Too much government, not enough or just right?

The Department of Labor has filed a lawsuit against the owner of an auto repair shop in Georgia for paying one of his employees in pennies. Last year, Andreas Flaten quit his job at A OK Walker Autoworks but never received his final paycheck.

Flaten was not happy he wasn't going to be paid and contacted the Department of Labor to file a complaint against the owner, Miles Walker.

The Labor Department began an investigation into the matter and reached out to Walker, who said he had no intention of giving Flaten his final paycheck.

Walker quickly changed his mind and decided to pay Flaten in pennies. He put over 91,000 pennies in a wheelbarrow and left them in Flaten's driveway along with a copy of his final paystub that had an expletive written on it.

"Within hours of learning that Mr. Flaten had complained to [the Wage and Hour Division] about not receiving his last paycheck, defendants decided to pay Mr. Flaten in pennies," the lawsuit says.

The agency claims that Walker retaliated against Flaten for filing a complaint against him, which is a violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act. In addition, investigators accused Walker of failing to keep detailed employment records and not paying his employees overtime.

I do not downhill ski. Reason #43 why I don't.

Skiers in chairlifts at Beech Mountain Ski Resort in North Carolina were hospitalized yesterday after a broken pipe blasted them with freezing cold water. Some were shot out of their chair by the water pressure while other lift passengers could be seen (in video below) jumping out of their seats before reaching the nightmarish spray.

Rather than apologize and take full responsibility, the resort blamed the catastrophe on a guest, according to WCNC, claiming the skier broke a hydrant by running into it (and therefore caused the disaster, rather than admitting that the resort should have stopped the ski lift to prevent people from getting stuck in the water blast).

The resort crafted a statement that minimizes the disaster, describing the skiers as merely getting "wet."

Good Samaritans to the rescue. A rare Saturday Night Feel Good Story of The Day.

MISSOULA, Mont. — Granite County sheriff’s deputies raced from wreck to wreck Wednesday. But a call about a truck in the river near Drummond made the sheriff’s heart skip a beat.

Scott Dunkerson said, “We were patrolling. The undersheriff and I had met up between Drummond and Phillipsburg. And we just parted ways and got the call and report of pickup in the river at mile marker 144. And we dispatched Missoula County has a swiftwater rescue team pretty much immediately to the scene.”

What happened in the minutes in between made all the difference.

“We learned that there was some good Samaritans on scene. They basically formed a human chain out to the pickup and had gotten the two children and mother and father out of the pickup,” said Dunkerson.

I enjoy venison. Fresh venison is tasty. This was a little too fresh.

Police in York County made an unexpected discovery Thursday night when they pulled over a hostaback under suspicion of DUI.

A 19-year-old woman, pulled over around midnight in the area of Old Trail and Old York roads, had a deer in the back of her car, according to Newberry Township police.

After hitting the deer, the 19-year-old and her passengers loaded it into the car while it was still alive, police said in a Friday news release.

Sometimes 1 meth pipe just isn't enough. Genius Award Winner.

A Newnan man man showed up on a stranger’s doorstep Tuesday night demanding his go-kart back.

But the woman who answered the door had no idea who he was. When she told the man she didn’t know what he was talking about, he put a gun to her head and took her on a wild ride, Cowetta County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Toby Nix confirmed.

Randy Lee Moreland, 56, now faces several serious felonies in connection with the alleged abduction. He was charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, obstruction of officer and multiple drug-related offenses.

Deputies say Moreland knocked on the front door of the woman’s New Street residence in unincorporated Cowetta around 9 p.m. He insisted that she return a go-kart, but the woman told investigators she’d never met Moreland before and didn’t have his go-kart.

There is so much wrong with this, anyone who has hit a deer will tell you if you decide to pick up a freshly hit deer, You. Must. Slit. The. Throat.
Because revenant deer in a car is seriously bad.

Someone long ago beyond the statutory limit and anyway he was just some guy in a bar had a story about heading back from the store to pick up a keg with a buddy, and hit a deer. They stopped, found it unresponsive, and slung it under the tarp they had the keg under in the back of the SUV. And then while driving down the road it came to, and tried standing up under the tarp. In the back of the SUV.

And the poor boys had to kill it all over again. In the back of an SUV. It must have been like a zombie movie.

115 So I rediscovered a song I haven't listened to in probably close to two decades.

Dream Theater - Learning To Live (Lives Scenes From New York
https://youtu.be/zcZ12nPQJTU

It's the kind of song only a young man could write (by DT bassist John Myung, I believe). It's great, it's uplifting and it's great to sing along to. Makes me wish I were young again.

I'm also reading a manga called After The Rain. The anime so impressed me that I dived into the manga. It's about a 17 year old girl who falls in love with a 45 year old man. I completely identify with the older guy regretting his lost youth after meeting a much, much younger girl that just lights a spark in him. It's a beautifully written, bittersweet story that is utterly heartbreaking.

So filled with hope and heartbreak, I'm sitting at a shipper in Waco contemplating just how badly I fucked up my life.

Between all of these things I'm a complete wreck. I need a drink.

123 Here's what wikipedia says about US law on legal tender:

"Contrary to common misconception, there is no federal law stating that a private business, a person, or a government organization must accept currency or coins for payment. Private businesses are free to create their own policies on whether they accept cash, unless there is a specific state law which says otherwise."

So I suspect there'd be some research involved here to ferret out what is and isn't required (and where).

That's as deep as I'm looking into it. Legal research ain't free, and I'm not anyone's lawyer.

What was the outcome?

Posted by: Braenyard at January 08, 2022 09:43 PM (2L0fX)

139 Uh, read the definition again. ALL debts, public AND private.

Only for debts, that meaning already existing obligations, denominated in dollars.

This does mean a grocery store can choose not to accept cash.

Or they could choose not to accept EBT, or credit cards, and say "Cash Only" No Checks.

Hell, they could accept anything they want as payment. Ciggies and those little bottles of airline booze. Very commonly misunderstood topic.

Now government has to accept cash for fines, or duties, and tax. If you look carefully on your annual property tax assessment, they will accept cash. They don't like it, because it's a huge pain in the ass, and subject to theft. But the law is clear on that. It is one thing that makes the dollar valuable.

Note California tried to pay people in scrip, or IOU for a while. Not sure how that works. Would they accept their own IOU in lieu of dollars for property tax? Hm.

Posted by: Common Tater at January 08, 2022 09:44 PM (OIiAB)

During the depression Oregon state paid out debts in unfunded warrants (Oregon does not generally pay in checks but instead uses "warrants")

Because of the need for cash these IOUs developed a secondary market. For a while the warrants were redeemable at around (IIRC) something around 17 or 20 cents on the dollar, which recovered value in time.
There was a note I ran across that locally one of the Masonic lodges had to decide if they would accept an unfunded warrant for dues, and if it would be accepted at face or market value.
eventually all the warrants were redeemed at face value.

I actually haven't seen any evidence of this nor even a claim from the employer. Employee says he put in two weeks' written notice. Employer told the news station he "doesn't really remember" dumping five hundred[ pounds of pennies on a guy's driveway, but "he got paid, so whatever". From https://tinyl.io/5VEJ

"Flaten said he left his job at the auto shop last year due to a toxic work environment, according to the news station. WGCL spoke with former Walker Luxury Autoworks employees who made similar complaints, including one man who recalled Walker ripping up workers' final paychecks."

HUGE leap here, but I'm starting to suspect that the employer might actually not be a friendly guy and that working for him could be a little prickly.

239 I guess with all the media misrepresentation of Covid, climate change, and environmental issues generally, I should be more jaded, but here is a particularly pungent example of this.

Oregon Public Radio put out a report entitled:

Oregon wants quick fix to high lead levels in Portland's water

The report starts: It's been six years since Dr. Marc Edwards first identified toxic levels of lead in the water in Flint, Michigan., and goes on to quote Edwards saying "This [Portland] is worse than Flint."

Panic! Panic! One might ask, "how the hell did lead get into the city water supply, anyway"?

It turns out it didn't - the problem is that Portland's water is naturally acidic, and it leaches lead out of the lead solder from pipes used in some homes built between 1970 and 1985. Fewer than 7% of the houses built during that era have a lead problem, and the city knows which houses have the problem. Portland is putting a treatment plant on-line in three months to raise the PH of the water, and Oregon is merely asking for some interim measures.

But it's still OK to write an article that implies that the whole Portland water supply is contaminated.

252 Yes, ... pedantic types will separate pre 1982 pennies in hopes of ... what, exactly? They are worth more as scrap than their face value.

But, they haven't been demonetized. It is technically illegal to scrap pennies (and nickels). Because, people would simply go to the bank and order $5000 in coins, and then drive to the recycler and get a check for $5500. Retired people especially. No Bueno for government.

This is the case for 90 percent silver coinage, pre 1965 dimes, quarters, and halves, dollars. They are still legal tender, but they can be smelted.

260 Yes, ... pedantic types will separate pre 1982 pennies in hopes of ... what, exactly? They are worth more as scrap than their face value.

But, they haven't been demonetized. It is technically illegal to scrap pennies (and nickels). Because, people would simply go to the bank and order $5000 in coins, and then drive to the recycler and get a check for $5500. Retired people especially. No Bueno for government.

This is the case for 90 percent silver coinage, pre 1965 dimes, quarters, and halves, dollars. They are still legal tender, but they can be smelted.

If there's a state or local fee-shifting provision, suit is worth it. It's like a SLAPP motion I won last year, a no-brainer. Plaintiff's counsel sought reconsideration. I said, Plaintiff has simply compounded one bad judgment after another. He can't win and if his lawyer wants to keep spending his money, Defendant will keep collecting it. (Under California law, prevailing defendant on a SLAPP motion gets reasonable fees from the plaintiff.)

The Washington State Legislature is slated to vote on a measure that will authorize the involuntary detainment of residents as young as 5 years old in "Covid-19 concentration camps, for failing to comply with the state's experimental vaccine mandate.

If passed, WAC 246-100 will allow local health officers at "his other sole discretion" to "issue an emergency detention order causing a person or group of persons to be immediately detained for purposes of isolation or quarantine."

The measure also allows health officers to deploy law enforcement officials to assist with the arrest of uncompliant Washington residents.

291 Fun with pecans. Should save for the food thread manana but why start being disciplined now?

Improvised a basic candied pecan recipe (as I usually do, scouring online recipes and picking/choosing different elements) for a persimmon/pomegranate salad I took to a Christmas dinner. Damn things were so good we devoured the extras in a few days.

So this time I repeated the original version (just toast 'em, then add butter, brown sugar, kosher salt, dashes of black pepper and cayenne). Made a large batch. Then experimented with a small batch - same seasonings, but subbing in bacon fat for butter, and deglazing the pan first with bourbon (Winchester Double-Oak).

Yeah yeah, high risk edgy cooking, using bacon and bourbon. Turns out they're both good. What a surprise.

328 For Canadian truckers entering the USA it's Jan 15.
For American/Canadian truckers entering Canada it's Jan 21.

Currently, for me to enter Canada I have to provide my vaccination card plus a covid test done within 72 hours of crossing. It can be done online 3 days in advance and then the port official may ask for the actual paperwork at the time of arrival.

The CTA estimates that about 70 per cent of the $650 billion U.S.-Canada trade moves by truck.

That's a lot of unemployed truckers if the estimates for drivers refusing to be vaccinated is correct.

330 So I watched this YouTube recommneded video from April 2020 about the 1918 Flu Pandemic. -- https://bit.ly/3na1Rnd

It explains that the 1918 flu hit hard the specific age group of 28 year olds. And they explained it was because as babies they were exposed to 1889-1890 Russian flu strain that set them up to have abnormal fatal immune responses to the 1918 flu almost 30 years later.

So now reading about all these athletes in Europe -- [another one today, tennis player*] -- getting myocarditis or collapsing or having heart attacks, I wonder if there was something 20-some years ago going around in Europe that they were exposed to that is now making them react a certain way to the COVID vaxxines.

The water that was running -- not just dripping, but running -- from my bathroom ceiling has stopped and has not recurred since about 5:15 this evening. I've left the bucket there in case.

Sharon, you'd asked on the Chess Thread if there was an apartment above me. Yes; I'm on the ground floor, which is a plus when it comes to air-conditioning your place (cold tends to sink, heat to rise). That's not so good if somebody above you has a leak of any kind. There's one level above mine, and the denizens of this place are not smart enough to avoid putting stuff down their toilets or sinks that will clog the pipes.

Why do I live here, you ask? It's comfortable most of the time, cheap compared to other places in this city, and convenient to my work.

347 that is now making them react a certain way to the COVID vaxxines.

The argument I've seen for the issue with the clot shots is that you produce more spike proteins then you do if you get COVID itself.

One of the "good" things about an actual vaccine is that the worst thing it can do is give you the diease (which actually happened with the rush with the Small Pox vaccine). Gene therapies are a whole 'nother story.

Of course if this was actually a health issue we'd be "warp speeding" a covaxin type vaccine based on the omicron variant right now.

348 So I watched this YouTube recommneded video from April 2020 about the 1918 Flu Pandemic. -- https://bit.ly/3na1Rnd

Another interesting statement in the video is when he described how the government deliberately lied to the people about the seriousness of the pandemic. Back then, they downplayed it. And when people saw through the lies, when the government then tried to tell the truth and ask people to take certain precautions, people refused, because they didn't trust the government anymore.

Sounds familiar to current times, only the government -- here in USA as well as all over the world -- has been overexaggerating the seriousness of pandemic. Also cited something I know I have read discussed here over the past 2 years. That the Spanish Flu was only so named, because Spain was the only country not involved in the war, so the only country not lying to their citizens about the existence and seriousness of the flu.

349 Now there is a bit of "legal tender" trivia, that hasn't been tested I don't think, but it has been posited before by legal types.

Let's say you owe $5000 , a debt already incurred, to a business or individual and they demand payment, and you go to pay them in cash.

"Oh, no - We don't accept cash. Check or debit card only."

You have them sign a statement reflecting that they refused payment in cash. Some theorize or whatever, that since they refused payment, the debt is no longer valid or somesuch. Don't try this at home, kids. But this is one reason "legal tender for all debts, public and private" has some teeth to it. They have to take it, at one level.

I'm guessing this is a big part of the cracking up of the narrative right now... "Omicron" becomes a thing well after a whole lot of people get vaccinated. So the vaccine clearly does not protect against omicron. And yet Our Betters insist (at gunpoint) that we reach 100% vaccination with the old vaccine that doesn't work, along with multiple boosters of.... the old vaccine that doesn't work.

Unfortunately, in my opinion, those people don't really matter. What would matter is if we started hearing that stuff from people in positions of influence. Corporation CEOs, Commissioners of sports leagues, state governors, state depts of HHS, US Senators, US Congressmen, employees of FDA or CDC, etc. Because those are the people who hold the power and influence to stop this.

The rest of us are having our livelihoods held hostage. Kids held hostage by school protocols. Workers held hostage by corporation protocols, etc. And I have heard nothing from anyone on that, not even those like DeSantis who are fighting the mandates. No one is questioning the dangerous vaxxines themselves.

381 Public health officials, state and county, have very broad powers. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if they can't legally throw your ass in a quarantine camp if they wanted to. The difference though, is their powers are limited to (probably) 60 or 90 days or something. At some point legislatures are supposed to act, which is why the health officials have so much power - in an emergency, so the thinking goes, there isn't time to wait. Your county Sheriff has amazingly broad powers as well. In some states, I think the Coroner is basically the most powerful person in each county, or right up there. Why, I've no idea. Inslee and the other Bolshies are just cementing their rule. Making it codified.

Now getting the cops to enforce all that shit, that's a different matter. I would not expect a lot of enthusiasm for that. People going YOLO at the political level ... well, we'll see.

411 There is, however, no Federal statute mandating that a private business, a person or an organization must accept currency or coins as for payment for goods and/or services. Private businesses are free to develop their own policies on whether or not to accept cash

If we were talking about goods and services, you might have a point. A business for example (like an Apple store) doesn't have to accept cash. And they (Apple) don't. There is no existing debt. You can't buy anything with cash.

And I know that before going in to an Apple store, so it never becomes an issue. This isn't what we're talking about.

Somebody sends you an invoice -, I dunno, the roofer. The guy who shovels your driveway. "You owe $500" they have to take cash. Again, the classic no-shit example is, of course, taxes. Your local government might prefer payment by check, or debit card. I don't blame them. But you can pay in person, in cash. They have to accept it, for debts See the difference?

The Washington State Board of Health will hold a virtual public meeting on January 12 to discuss the application of W 246-100-040.

Scott Miller, a Washington-based Physician Assistant who runs a private pediatric clinic, lost his medical license in October for providing hundreds of critically-ill Covid patients with Ivermectin, vitamins and other effective treatments.

apparently, Manchin today has been telling people that his previous generous offer is now off the table. So much fun in this story - maybe the best part is seeing that they have a Senator who is as much of a pain in the ass to them as John McCain was to us.

In '95 the fuel pressure regulator was mounted on the engine; in '97 they shifted it to the top of the pump module. If I used the '95 pump, I would have no pressure regulator. So, I got a new-in-box module for a '97 that was being held for another vehicle, and ordered a new one from Rock Auto to replace it.

I did weld some flanges to the hole I cut in the cargo area floor, so I can screw the cut-out piece in place as an access panel, so there's that.

So, sure, it's about HIV and blood-borne illnesses. Well, HIV's been around a long time and we couldn't even close bathhouses, could we?

I see stuff like this and remember what they did here in Michigan when Wretched Whitmer was doing everything she could to keep all her protocols in place. When she lost her emergency powers, they switched to using some old Dept of HHS powers for viruses or something and just applied it to COVID.

So I see this stuff and assume they are going to strengthen the law/regulation/rule/whatever to apply to something other than COVID, so they can do it without anyone paying attention. Then, at a later date, they will refer to it and say it applies to COVID too, even though it's not explicitly stated in the law/regulation/rule/whatever.

476 Does it matter, really, what the bill is "actually" about? We've been shown repeatedly the past 2 plus years that those in search of power will use anything to accrue it, and that emergency powers that were clearly meant for wartime, for instance, were abused and broadened to close businesses and force people into their homes. So, sure, it's about HIV and blood-borne illnesses. Well, HIV's been around a long time and we couldn't even close bathhouses, could we?

Posted by: TecumsehTea at January 08, 2022 11:28 PM

Bingo. Always assume fuckery is afoot. These MF-ers have been lying to us for the past 2 years about everything to do with COVID. And using every trick in the book to keep their emergency powers. Everyone in the state of Washington should be breathing down these people's necks until they know for a fact it is done and will not be used at all for COVID. Total transparency.

I'm intentionally a broken-record on this matter, but our "friends" who keep voting for this nonsense are *not* our friends. They need to be confronted civilly, and then shunned if they don't understand what they are doing. We are in a battle for our civilization.

I walked out of a (large) team meeting when the topic turned to "equity". I will not play along with this nonsense.

Nobody actually wanted to watch women's sports. I've coached women's basketball. I *get* how important it is for young women to have something to focus on, and how it helps their development in every walk of life.

But we've pretended for three decades that their sports mattered. I can't tell you how many times I've had to change the (radio) channel at halftime of a college football game because the university wanted to breathlessly give me an update on the women's volleyball team. We've got to stop pretending that *everything* has to be equal. Women are amazing...when they're being amazing. They make *terrible* men.

I have to check the headstamp on every single case before I reload it, to avoid the small pocket ones. I've segregated almost all of the small ones, but a few still show up (2, in 52 cases, tonight).

I keep the small pocket stuff to use in the event I don't have LPPs. Some day I'll just load it all up and use it at a match where I won't pick it up.

See the top of Zerohedge. Some Youtuber has been accused of staging a plane crash for hits and likes. He claimed engine trouble, and bailed out, and the plane crashed into a mountain.

Only problem was he was wearing a full parachute when he got in the plane, like he was expecting it to crash. And he made sure to pitch the plane just right for the perfect jump and camera angles.

The FAA is investigating.

There was a 70s Columbo episode with Johnny Cash, where he intentionally crashed a plane to kill his blackmailing evangelist wife. She's holding a statutory rape over him.

Johnny packed a homemade parachute in his "chart bag". Only problem, he couldn't make it big enough and fit in the bag. When the small chute, he came down too fast and broke his leg.

He hides the chute, and pretends he was thrown from the plane in the crash, as the sole survivor. Columbo gets wise, as he always does. Cash wore black the whole time, of course.

604 Somebody sends you an invoice -, I dunno, the roofer. The guy who shovels your driveway. "You owe $500" they have to take cash. Again, the classic no-shit example is, of course, taxes. Your local government might prefer payment by check, or debit card. I don't blame them. But you can pay in person, in cash. They have to accept it, for debts See the difference?
Posted by: Common Tater at January 08, 2022 11:07 PM (OIiAB)

I see the distinction you are making, but don't think that distinction is valid.

For example, in Martinez v. Mattern, a federal district court rejected this argument with respect to a customer who tried to pay his water bill in cash where the water supply district had a no-cash-payment policy. 2006 WL 1295571 (S.D. Tex. May 10, 2006).

Also, in Picano v. Borough of Emerson, the plaintiff sued a local NJ governmental entity because it required payment of property taxes by check or money order and disallowed payment in cash. The Third Circuit held that the legal-tender statute, 31 U.S.C. 5103, did not require the government to accept payment in cash, and observed that no court has ever held the contrary. 353 Fed. App'x 733 (3d Cir. Nov. 27, 2009).

609 A buddy of mine, we went backpacking in the Needles at Canyonlands NP, we set up camp for a couple days under a shallow rock overhang with a killer view of the La Sals and the red rock. Then one or maybe two years later we went out there again, backpacking in the Needles. The spot where we had camped previously, the overhang hadn't completely collapsed, exactly, but some pretty impressive tonnage chunks of sandstone had fallen right exactly where we were sleeping.

In geological terms, that's cutting it really, really close, I suppose.

There's an impressive spire called "The Totem Pole" in Monumnent valley, first climbed about 1955, it's now off limits. You saw Clint Eastwood and George Kennedy sitting on it in the Eiger Sanction. I like nice views, but I am always afraid the wind will knock it over while I'm on it.

Well if the games count then I do know. Books? Nope. Anyway I do not like the amount of black re-casting of characters, again from what I know from the games, its just bothersome because I know it is all Polish legend. The game did flesh out the people from Ofir but that land has not been brought up yet so the irregular amount of black folks is just weird. Good acting but just weird.

It would be like retelling a Zulu nation tale and a few main characters became white or Indonesian.

Anyway, they already fucked up Eskel and did some other shit I do not appreciate but Henry Cavill is a super dope Geralt.

I hated the games until 3. The books can be bad as well. Had a lot of nihilism in there. The third game redeemed a hell of a lot of it by making it a father-daughter dynamic (indeed of the Father/Daughter trinity of games that came out at around the same time, it was BY FAR the healthiest.)

The two-dollar-window teller wanted to get rid of them and wouldn't give him paper. No problem. My grandfather knew a bunch of the regulars. Every single one placed their $2 bets with quarters at this teller for the rest of the day.

That said, the pay with pennies company deserves every bit of legal hell they receive.

648 The big thing with "nudge" psychology too - it's all forms of scientific mass manipulation. Manufactured consent. I first dived into it years ago, something popularly temed "the Delphi Technique" aka "Alinsky method". It's a highly unscrupulous and dishonest method of scamming people in groups. Widely used in government, business, and academia.

They might change the terms, but pay attention to anytime someone brings up "group facilitator" or anything of that nature.

Basically start with a pre-determined outcome (what they want, but nobody else does) is cleverly presented in a way that looks like everybody agreed to it. Gaslighting, propaganda, bullshit polls, bogus "facts" guilt trips, etc., over and over. Sound familiar?

657 Large military bases have long had kind of a love/hate thing going as far as the locals go. I was told about a situation that occured long after, that I have no doubt actually happened. There were some anti-military editorials or something printed in the local newspaper or something, I don't know what it was, doesn't matter. Whatever it was, it royally pissed off the base commander. He wanted to illustrate just how important that base was to the local economy. How to do it?

Well the base commander saw to it that every person stationed there was paid in cash. Not just any cash - $2 Bills.

Exclusively.

Much hilarity ensued, and the local Karens STFU, at least for a few decades anyway.

Alinsky might've published it, but Obama's Cass Susstein drove it to become a highly developed, media-driven sledgehammer of subtlety from the left.

Example. My 33 home neighborhood was built in 2007/2008, with only one car garages, and all natural gas mains stripped from belowground before further development. Because proles don't need a 2 car garage, (we're supposed to ride mASS transit) and natural gas is those icky hydrocarbons which must be done away with, before the skies collapse! You wanna see "the nudge" in action, I'll show it to you right damn here in my 'hood.

Yeah, definitely part of the scam. "Polling" is a huge part of it, central really. At least the publicly pushed and cited fairy tales.

There's no doubt in my mind a huge majority of Americans would LOVE to have Biden uncermoniously kicked to the curb right now, and 45 re-installed.

The more unhinged the left becomes, the less their messaging is working, the less people buy their phony balogna parlor tricks, then they become even more extreme. They have to.

Unfortunately they are in control, so it's gonna be a shitty ride. You may not know it yet, but you be fooked. It will get .. better .. someday. This is all unforced error and end goal shit. None of it gotta be like this. None. That is what is so tragic, these are stone cold saboteur psychopaths. Prepare accordingly.

706 Would the Coof and Hoof in Mouf = Cow Pox, and now we've come the full circle?

Clearly, I'll have to ruminate in this a while.

714 re: ski lift, piss poor planning results in poor performance.

The water shooter should've been placed so that it couldn't spray the life. The water shooters should all have a safety valve so they con't spray continually if the shooting mechanism is broken. There should've been an emergency shut off for the water shooters by the lift if they could not put them else where and it shoud've been by the entrance and exit of the life.

728 After hitting the deer, the 19-year-old and her passengers loaded it into the car while it was still alive, police said in a Friday news release.
