A Nevada criminal complaint against a mom who allegedly pimped out her 9-year-old daughter to longtime CNN producer John Griffin in Vermont discloses disturbing new details about the sick arrangement. It also reveals that authorities first became aware of Griffin's depraved proclivities 18 months ago -- yet the FBI didn't arrest him until Friday in Connecticut for allegedly soliciting three mothers and their underage daughters for "training" on fetish sex. The third count in the federal indictment out of Vermont is based on the encounter with the 9-year-old in July 2020, for which Griffin paid the mom $3,500 via Venmo. After the woman's arrest in August 2020, federal investigators seized "computers storage media, devices, phones, cameras, MicroSD cards, images, and video" from Griffin on Sept. 2, 2020, according to court documents.
Seizing his computers - and we know he used his computers to manage his acquisition of mother/daughter pairs - a year and a half before his arrest after he committed additional crimes is a helluva lot more than "on the FBI's RADAR." That's "subject of an active investigation with evidence in hand for more than a year before they acted against a well-positioned child predator." That isn't a f***-up, that's a cover-up.Some really repulsive details in that account. But since then, Project Veritas has outed another Minor Attracted Person working as a news producer at CNN.

Wednesday night, Project Veritas published graphic texts and videos of a CNN producer fantasizing about molesting his fiance's daughter.Details omitted. See the link for that.
The CNN producer also allegedly solicited sexually explicit photos of the source's underage daughter. The source claimed to have obtained the information for authorities but contacted Project Veritas when she was worried that action might not be taken. The source told the outlet that she "felt disgusted" and felt the need to come forward because "these people with power seem to get away with it." "I feel disgusted. I feel dirty and I reply (to the texts) you know, it's, it's your girl's kid like your girlfriend's kid. Usually every time we text, it's always about him wanting to see me and a stepdaughter together."A transcript of an alleged recording of the CNN producer describing a graphic sex fantasy involving the stepdaughter follows. Again, see the link. Here's the actual Project Veritas video, including the interview with the woman making the charge, and the texts allegedly sent, and the recording of the CNN producer. Most of the above swiped from Tim Pool's digest about the stories. We'll see if it takes another 18 months for the FBI to do anything here.
You know what the government could do if it really wants to expose QAnon as a disinformation conspiracy theory hoax? It could start actually arresting their elite-circles political and media ally child sex predator frenz with some alacrity, instead of treating it as an unwelcome chore they'd very much like to dodge.
And let's not forget that Fredo Cuomo was fired due to a pattern of sexual harassment and that currently-serving CNN "anchor" in good standing Don LeMon is credibly accused of a particularly foul instance of assault of a disgusting sexual character. I too enjoy cynicism during this Great Awakening, but what do you expect? Who do you want exposed to that kind of thing? Yeah I have been wondering about that for a while. Its practically not even illegal in some places other than just "animal abuse". I mean, it can't be that common right? And I've seen little indication that the corrupt culture embraces or even encourages it. That fish-humping movie came out, but that was more like an alien than a beast.

I read about a sting a few years back where they did exactly that, ran a large number of child porn sites, then arrested people who downloaded the stuff.

A primary reason to build an archive is to have a very powerful tool to catch images on a scan. It's even better to get fresh ones to track down active exploitation.

And for that purpose - scanning to look for matching content as you build a network view of abuse - I completely understand. Here's the thing, though - that doesn't need human interaction anymore. That's a dead-simple AI use case. You would need human interaction only to classify new items or verify marginal matches. That would be a difficult, soul-crushing, high-turnover job to be sure, but there is no reason to have the actual data set available ever. It is encrypted and accessed only by software. Individual images needing a second opinion are copied and sent and then destroyed.
This would also preclude run honeypots and fake sites. Okay.

I think something along these lines is the reasons for its perpetuation. Anyone who is honorable and goes in to clean up shop realizes that cleaning up will expose that literally everyone is a monster and has been acting with blatant and grotesque criminality as a matter of course - and that would shake confidence so much that they don't dare try to take action because it would have a non-trivial chance of completely collapsing the government and the country would fly apart.

From what I understand they offered no deal to Ghislaine to name names, which should be SOP. And, there has apparently been no public announcement of ancillary prosecutions, which should have been well underway by now. And, to top it off, the US Attorney is apparently staffing the case with recent grads and lower-eschelon types who barely know their way around the Courtroom: basically to "get a conviction" and do no more.
Of course we know why; but for the small slice of the public who is not entirely poisoned by MSNBC/CNN etc and not already red-pilled it might be a revelation.

If I had to guess, I would say that its a combination of things, mostly "this is the way we've always done it" old school heel digging by major corporations. They are loathe to change and do not understand the new very well.
Another factor is the "all our competitors do it" which drives companies to do asinine, idiotic crap to stop their competition from getting an edge.
And finally there's adblock. I can't really skip ads on CNN, but I can almost totally wipe them out on my computer. The few people who are tech savvy in these big corps have to know that.

That's part of it, but a lot of it is just carryover from how Apple got its market share (small but real). They gave their stuff away to entertainment and education sectors. So the hard left community got their neato new super easy to use computers for super cheap or free, and all of them learned to use that and nothing else.
Then Apple hired really good advertisers to make their product seem cool, rather than good or valuable. People who value cool more than anything else signed on like gangbusters.
The Iphone is objectively a poorer product these days (and has been for a decade or more) but still is the preferred phone for the cool set. And since its cool its part of a club, you don't want to ever leave the cool kids club.

To take it to an extreme, if you could make $1000 an hour driving a truck, would you quit your job and go do it? Probably. As would millions of others. I would.
So yes there are other factors besides pay. But high pay can trump all those other issues quickly.
