Effective, and unwilling to back down

drr soh.jfif

The continued obliteration of sex-specific spaces begs the question of whether the safety of girls is being considered. Quite possibly no. Worse yet, it is but ends up being discarded each time as unimportant.

Dr. Debra Soh

Jordan Peterson famously became a target of the left for refusing the mandated use of "diverse" pronouns at his university. Lately, many of the targets of the Gender Ideology essentialists have been women. Debra Soh, quoted above, is one of them.

Abigail Shrier is another. Ace reported yesterday on government agents in Spreckles, California grooming kids to be trans. Shrier initially spilled the beans on part of that story.

Recently, she spoke to students at Princeton. Likely some of the few students at Princeton who have escaped the grasp of the hard left. Reading her remarks made me want to finally buy her book. She thinks.

After summarizing an impressive education and background in law and some personal details about her life (including quitting at a law firm and having kids), she said:

I began writing a few op-eds for our local Jewish paper, one of which was spotted by a Wall Street Journal editor, who invited me to submit to the Wall Street Journal. I did, and in the course of that year, published 13 op-eds with the Journal. One of those op-eds inspired a reader to contact me and tell me the story of her teen daughter who was rushing into a sudden gender transition. After trying and failing to find an investigative journalist who wanted the assignment, I took it on myself. My investigations turned into a book called Irreversible Damage.

All of which is to say: I'm not a provocateur. I don't get a rush from making people angry. You don't have to be a troll to find yourself in the center of controversy. You need only be two things: effective, and unwilling to back down.

(emphasis mine)

Why am I unwilling to back down? Why wouldn't I prostrate myself before the petulant mobs who insist that my standard journalistic investigation into a medical mystery--specifically, why so many teen girls were suddenly identifying as transgender and clamoring to alter their bodies--makes me a hater? Why on earth would I have chosen to write this book in the first place and am I glad that I wrote it?

If you're here, you no doubt are familiar with at least some of the unpleasantness you encounter whenever you deviate from the approved script. So, again, what's it like to be the target of so much hate? It's freeing. That's what I'd like to talk about tonight.

As an undergraduate studying philosophy, I spent an inordinate amount of time wondering whether my will was free. . .

In 2021, it seems a luxury to worry that a will determined and shaped entirely by received ideas and our own personality-driven desires might not be entirely free. Today, before any of us decides what it is we want, we open our phones and participate in our own manipulation at the hands of those who actively want us to think, and see, and vote differently than our own wills would have us do. If we were not entirely free before, in other words--we are far less so now.

Every dating app pushes us toward the same few attractive mate choices; Spotify presses us to like the same music; Amazon pushes us to purchase specific books and away from others. If you're under the impression that the books Amazon recommends to you are based solely on a content-neutral algorithm, I can disabuse you of that fiction right now. I once asked one of my sources at Amazon, who was concerned about the ways the search results were being manipulated, whether he'd ever seen a book deliberately boosted. Yes, he said. Becoming by Michelle Obama. When that book came out - he told me - virtually every search you did led to the recommendation to buy the former First Lady's book. And the opposite is also true. There are books that are never recommended by the Amazon algorithm, irrespective of how well they've sold or how likely a specific shopper is to buy them. Or, at least, there's one such book. I'll let you try and guess what it is.

But the larger point is, your will is being toyed with, subverted, manipulated. . .

Something for students at Princeton, and us, to contemplate.

Back to today's practical world:

When polled, nearly two out of three Americans (62%) say they are afraid to express an unpopular opinion. That doesn't sound like a free people in a free country. We are, each day, force-fed falsehoods we are all expected to take seriously, on pain of forfeiting esteem and professional opportunity:

"Some men have periods and get pregnant." "Hard work and objectivity are hallmarks of whiteness." "Only a child knows her own true gender." "Transwomen don't have an unfair advantage when playing girls' sports."

On that final example of a lie, the one about transwomen in girls' sports, I want you to think for a moment about a young woman here at Princeton. . . Just before Thanksgiving, Ellie was defeated in the 500-meter, the event she held the record in, by almost 14 seconds by a 22 year old biological male at Penn who was competing on the men's team as recently as November of 2019. That male athlete now holds multiple U.S. records in women's swimming, erasing the hard work of so many of our best female athletes, and making a mockery of the rights women fought for generations to achieve.

Ellie Marquart swam her heart out for Princeton. When will Princeton fight for her? Where are the student protests to say--enough is enough. When a biological male who has enjoyed the full benefits of male puberty - - larger cardiovascular system, 40% more upper body muscle mass, more fast-twitch muscle fiber, more oxygenated blood--decides after three seasons on the men's team to compete as a woman and smashes the records of the top female swimmers in this country, that is not valor - - that's vandalism.

Where is the outrage?

You who are studying at one of the greatest academic institutions in the country only to be told that after graduation, you must think as we tell you and recite from this script--why were you born? What's the point of being alive? Computers are vastly better at number crunching. They'll soon be better at all kinds of more complex tasks. What they cannot do is stand on principle. What a computer cannot do is refuse to lend credibility to a rigged competition--to refuse to strengthen its coercion--making it that much harder for the next female athlete to speak up. What the computer cannot know is the glorious exertion of the human will when it refuses to truckle in the face of lies and instead publicly speaks the truth.

I didn't write Irreversible Damage to be provocative. In a freer world, nothing in my book would have created controversy. . .

You really should read her remarks. There is much more. Anyone collecting examples of how to write an essay would do well to include this. I hope a few in her Princeton audience were inspired and encouraged.

Related content from Debra Soh:

J.K. Rowling

Those seeking to understand why the average person is too terrified to speak up against transgender activism need only to look to J.K. Rowling. In a promotional trailer for Rowling's forthcoming film, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, which she co-wrote and co-produced, her name barely appears. This contrasts with how prominently her name was featured in previous advertisements for the franchise.

Rowling has endured a continued campaign of punishment and harassment ever since she (rightfully) ridiculed the term "people who menstruate" last year on social media. Her most recent transgression, according to activists, was criticizing the police in Scotland for classifying offenders based on their gender self-identification. This means that a male rapist who identifies as female will have his offense recorded as being committed by a woman.

Canada bans discussing options to transgender conversion

Bill C-4, the ban on so-called Conversation Therapy, passed with the unanimous support of all parties in the House of Commons. . .

On today's episode of the Candice Malcolm Show, Candice is joined by sex neuroscientist Dr. Debra Soh. Soh says that Canada is going in the opposite direction of other Western liberal democracies who have mandated psychotherapy before transitioning and banned dangerous puberty-blocking drugs to those under 18.

She says that clinical therapy is essential for children suffering from gender dysphoria, and banning it is cruel and anti-science.

COVID vaccine divides people

In some cases, friends and family members proudly disown people, writing them off as ignorant, selfish, conspiratorial, or worse. This is reflected in a recent study about how vaccination status is dividing the public. More than 1 in 4 vaccinated adults have stopped associating with a loved one because they are unvaccinated. Vaccinated Democrats are twice as likely as vaccinated Republicans to report doing so.

No one deserves to be discriminated against or shamed for choices pertaining to his or her personal health. Coping with the stigma and social isolation that comes with speaking up may feel insurmountable, but know that your feelings are valid. You are not alone.

Social support becomes extremely important. If people close to you are not supportive, avoiding the topic of COVID-19, and perhaps politics more generally, in conversation may be the best approach to salvaging those relationships. If possible, try to find at least one other person in your life with whom you can share your concerns.

If that fails, as difficult as it may be to find them in our censorious climate, online communities can offer support. You don't necessarily need to agree with each other. What's important is the ability to discuss freely and without judgment.

I am aware of at least one such online community.

8 If the "check engine" light comes on, there are two possibilites.

1) There's a 1% chance there's something wrong with the engine.

2) There's a 99% chance there's something wrong with the sensor.

Our Odyssey occasionally has the light go on. We were told it's a problem with the catalytic converter. We run the car through the car wash. The light then goes out.

23 All things meant to break your spirit and defeat you require only one thing, that you quit. It's why the Left and all other tyrannical forces don't want you to resist. It halts their momentum and brings about a vacuum- that wisdom fills. In the end that perspective marshals the forces which defeat their ignominy.

Never quit. Never falter. Never surrender.

Eons ago, I was dragged to a concert by a chick who loved James Taylor. My opinion then and now is that Taylor was/is a lightweight, with a voice that seems to appeal to some people, but that was about all he had to offer.

Anyhoo, Randy Newman was his opening act. Now, before Randy became the Dinsey cartoon soundtrack guy, people took him seriously as a musician and songwriter.

That night though, he sat at his piano, with his back to the audience, and muddled through his set, before Taylor came out and killed it by engaging with the audience. So I give him credit for being a performer, because otherwise there might have been several suicides that night by those who may have only seen Newman's set.

Under threat of losing one's job and livelihood, losing one's ability to support one's family, etc... what will most of us choose to do?

Not everyone's choice to not surrender ends up like Sandmann (rich), but more likely ends up like Rittenhouse (on trial for his life, life in the hands of 12 jurors, rest of life will have every institution in the country biased against him).

Reminds me of that winner of the Draw Muhammad contest. Caption was angry Muhammad with raised sword saying "You can't draw me". The artist draws his hand with the pen, saying "That's Why is draw you".

63 If the "check engine" light comes on, there are two possibilites.
1) There's a 1% chance there's something wrong with the engine.
2) There's a 99% chance there's something wrong with the sensor.

#1 son got stuck in Mexico after vacationing with his wife and kids and inlaws. Tested positive but asymptomatic. He and the fam live in a leftist suburb of Dallas, big O'Rourke supporters and all that goes with that. He's beginning to see the light however but his wife drags on him like an anchor. She's from a big money family and grew up in Manhattan.

It's a long, slow road back to intelligence for my boy but I think he's taken a few tentative steps. I pray constantly for him and the kids.

Posted by: Notorious BFD

Listen to 'I Won't Back Down by Tom Petty.' He encapsulates mindset pretty well. In time, this societal parting of your family will go away; then it is up to your family to reconcile or not.

I had a severe breach with my father as a young adult but I had the benefit of his whole side of the family thinking that my father was being an ass in the situation including my mother. Was during the Gulf War I when I was on active duty. We reconciled and had a good relationship for the rest of his life. I still miss him and always try to remember the good, not the bad.

74 I'm no good at predicting but I will say that it wouldn't surprise me if the women's NCAAA officials set up some type of handicapping system to slow down the biological males so that events can be "competitive". Like jockeys, or NASCAR restrictor plates, or the double amputee 400 meter guy from South Africa (Pistorius) who was only allowed to wear his "medium" springy prostheses.

76 There are a few policies that clearly illustrate the left doesn't actually care about the people they advocate for, none more so than trans and women. People with gender dysphoria lead miserable lives with high incidents of suicide ideation, attempts, and success. From a practical standpoint, who wants to be in a relationship with someone who has switched genders? This is a very small dating pool, leaving trans people alone, especially into their later years. Encouraging children to be trans is evil.
And nothing guts feminism like the trans movement. Women are being told that there is nothing special about being a woman; any man can become a woman in an instant. All the hard-fought battles to support women's sports, and now the door is opened for every women's sports program to be dominated by men.
The left uses minorities as tools, cudgels used to batter the foundations of our society. And once a tool is broken or no longer useful, it is cast aside.

Want to end that--have states pass laws allowing lawsuits against parents, doctors, medical facilities, and anyone personally advising the minor to go through with it. This would allow minors who had the surgery/pills given to them and now have regrets to sue for up to seven years after they become adults. Make it damages not subject to dismissal by bankruptcy.

You want the laws enforced--take it out of the hands of the state and give it to the people to enforce it with damages. Get rid of qualified immunity for administrators not following the law and include personal liability for such administrators, and so on.

My 2010 doesn't either. Fortunately, I'm barely smart enough to own a code reader, be able to interpret the codes, and clear them, so no expensive trip to the repair shop for me.

Better code reader can see the live data. If a cat code engine could be running rich... like a leaky fuel injector which causes the sensor to read out of spec.

Fuel pressure gage that bleeds down fast might show that. Or it has bad check valve coincidentally.

105 If you live in a state where they make you go through a vehicle inspection, a check engine light (CEL) may cause your vehicle to fail. The other thing one of those "code reader" tools do is turn off that light... basically erase all the error codes thrown by the computer. The light will come back on if there's a real issue or the associated sensor(s) are bad, but you'll likely get through inspection with having to shell out a wad of cash. Know what the code is... some 3 digit number typically... and you can research what it means and get an idea whether or not it's serious enough to warrant a fix.

I went 7 years with an old Chevy Silverado that threw a CEL all the freaking time for something to do with the emissions garbage. $1200 to fix on a $700 truck. Every year I'd turn that CEL off for the WV inspection.

I've seen good men die because they simply refuse to quit. I've seen others submit as a matter of personal convenience, selfishness and weakness. Our choices are relatively simple in that regard. We can steel ourselves and grow some spine in order to preserve what many died for, or we can abandon it on the dust pile of history for our own depravity and pusillanimity. Worst of all, none of the ringleaders has been arrested despite their being video and picture evidence of them committing the crimes.

Give yourself an hour or so to read this and check the links. This is some incredible reporting and if you suspect the feds were involved with Jan 6th this will likely just make you more convinced.

For decades, gay Americans lived under the shadow of a vicious calumny that - if granted full inclusion in society - thy wouldn't 'recruit' children. This was, and remains, a lie - one that was used to justify bigotry, even violence. But taking advantage of Americans' current desire for LGBTQ inclusiveness, California's largest teachers' union seems, perversely, to have perceived the opportunity to coach teachers in student-recruiting tactics."

It is an odd feeling, but using the NeillMed squeeze bottle rinse thing, I've never had any feeling of choking or water in my windpipe. I have had a small amount of the rinse drain from the sinuses into my mouth, but that never gives me a "Danger Will Robinson" feeling. I think some fluid draining into your mouth indicates you got a really good sinus flush. I always feel better, at least temporarily, after a sinus rinse-out.

So I do not rinse aggressively, I basically just remove the dust and pollen from my nose and don't try to flush out the deep sinus cavity. However if you have an infection you might want to try to flush more, but being careful not to force past a blockage.

What is "Best of Opposite Sex" at AKC? Girl dogs?

There are several awards the judge hands out when he's made his choices:

- Best of Breed: the best dog (or bitch), which can be a champion or a non-champion ("from the classes")
- Best of Winners: the best non-champion dog (or bitch)
- Best of Opposite Sex: the best dog (or bitch) of the opposite sex to the one to which he gave Best of Breed

Only the Best of Breed winner goes on to the Variety Group competition.

Nurse, buy a code reader tool. They come on sale at HF for $29 every so often, or buy one on line. If your car complies with the OBDII standard, and most made since 1996 do, the tool can connect, and read any stored codes. It will display any stored codes, like "P0213, downstream O2 sensor out of range". Write them down, and then use a Web search of the code number + your car model and year, to get more detailed information. You will likely get a laundry list of possible causes for the code.

The code reader also allows you to erase stored codes, which will put out the "check engine" lamp until the condition which caused it recurs. If the code is caused by a serious fault that needs correction right away, the lamp will re-light within a few minutes of driving. If it was due to a transitory condition or a lazy sensor, it might take days or weeks. The whole process takes no more effort than taking a BP reading.

195 Seems to me that just as the left's continual use of "Racism" to brand their enemies while in actuality they themselves are more inclined to be racists, the continued forced admittance of men masquerading as women is a form of misogyny more so than any exhibited by conservatives.

In fact it can be shown that the demand that men be recognized as women has led to women being endangered and being abused much more than any actions of conservatives.

And yet it goes on with no one acknowledging this. The media must be either put out of business as currently performed or be shamed for what they actually do to the groups that they supposedly are defending.

They must lose their credibility as much as possible with politicians and other bureaucrats. These people must learn that the media is not their friend and listening to them and following their pronouncements always leads to trouble for them. We are getting their by protesting and denying those who side with the media their power.

I'm kind of divided on that.

Tens of thousands of rapes, abductions, even murders of girls covered up in places like the UK. Frequent arrests of the victims and their families to cover for the foreign rapists. Police and officials looking the other way after being allowed to rape minors as a bribe.

People fined, charged, or jailed for the crime of reporting accurately who is raping whom in the EU. Thousands of rapists let off without punishment.

And it goes on and on. Everywhere you go all the way back to 1917, the left is surrounded by the rape of women.

230 The one problem that's now cropping up is the transgenders taking over "women's" sports.

I've just seen someone (above) make the claim of how hard some girl had worked in her sport of swimming and excelling.

Trouble is her efforts and records are qualified by being done against other women. To me that's okay but it's not defining the record for the sport. It's a subset created by outright segregation of a certain level of sports called Women's sports. And they are a bit different. Sometimes different rules, others different dimensions or time. They are based on less than the level that men can usually perform at. Thus they are not really record breaking. They all have asterisks and explanations and caveats.

And I personally don't care. It's unfortunate that some will be denied a scholarship because of the new competition. But they can change that if they wish to actually admit that they are discriminating specifically against men and that they cannot compete with men. Something that women for whatever reason have a hard time doing.

234 I think that the way the new vaccine is formulated causes it to actually promote mutation and the transmission of a virus similar to what they supposedly are protecting against.

This is why the mutations are mostly seen in those that have been vaxxed. I haven't seen any other explanation that makes sense. And it's also after being vaxxed reaches a certain level of numbers that these new viruses show up. In all places the level of vaxxed is very high.

The attacks on asians are a good example of a coverup; the interracial rapes and murders, no quite so much. They're not a secret; it's simply that the left doesn't give a shit about them other than to scream "racism" about anyone that reports it.

You might argue there are other large scale scandals on suppressing racial crime stats - the studies showing the effects of dispersing housing projects out into Section 8 and the widespread blue city practice of entering hispanic illegals into the UCR as "white". But the key difference is that there isn't some huge group being hoodwinked; people know whats up, and they're either for or against the violence.

Me neither. But then I don't understand the indifference to the obviously planned events that began the day after Trump won in 2016 and continue to this day.

For decades our government led by the very corrupt intel community have been running regime changes around the world in conjunction with NGOs and friendly media. They tried to do it to Trump with the Russia collusion crap and when that didn't work they just kept going with one scam after another including the fake election in 2020.

285 I agree that we shouldn't sit on our hands and just wait for Jesus to come take us away. Definitely we should be active and busy and contributing to the world. When Martin Luther was asked what he'd do if he knew Jesus was returning tomorrow, he said "plant a tree".

Luther was often a bit bombastic and kind of a troll at times, but his point was this: while we are on this earth, we are called to work for the good of our neighbors, to produce, to be constructive, to do good and work. That doesn't stop because Jesus is coming.

At the same time, we should always longingly anticipate Christ's return, like a bride-to-be waiting for her wedding day,as the Bible states it. Its the best possible moment in our lives should He return while we live.

294 I too think there's something in play with regards to 1/6. The reaction from the boys and girls in congress is very telling. They've been given marching orders and all (more or less) are following them to the letter. It's painfully obvious for anyone who looks that it was a setup. The FBI didn't do it without someone up on high giving them green light.

If they did, the entire bureau needs to be defunded and every employee's pension revoked... unless they turn. Then we'll discuss things.

I checked, in 2nd Opinions, there next to the passage that says "God Helps Those Who Help Themselves" and "Cleanliness is next to Godliness".

The people of God sing according to their own custom and culture. The angels do not. Probably for good reason.

My first thought is that I would hate to see yet another worthless schism in the Church over whether the angels are in to Hip Hop, Celtic folk, Scat, Metal, Opera....

296 If I had to guess I would consider the overreaction to the January 6th protests to be a combination of a couple things:

1) Arrogance and imperial elitism by congress: HOW DARE THEY???, shocked that mere citizens would dare step into the building and sully it with their presence
2) Fear that their actions to steal the presidency would have real and dread consequences from the public, and thinking this was the hammer landing on them. Then, realizing it was not, needing to spin this into something terrible to fend off any further action
3) Reichstag Fire II

There's nothing in the Bible to indicate they were alone. Its likely that in tax season like that, and with an already overfilled inn, the stable had several people in it. But it wouldn't be surprising if Joseph knew how to deliver a baby as just a cultural matter of course.

This leads me to another Christmas song I can't stand: Cherry Tree Carol. Not only is it a weird song, but the line "Mary gathered cherries While Joseph stood around" what the? The entire song is about Joseph being an ass to Mary and the context makes no sense at all. None of the song makes sense, it feels more like an old pagan song "Christianized" like was often done by missionaries in Europe in the Roman era.

That's interesting.

I saw Randy Newman in Austin before he became the Disney guy and it was one of the best concerts I've ever scene.

He sat with the piano tilted toward the audience and engaged with us the whole time. He talked between songs and joked about this or that song or the origin of a song. A few times during some of his more egregious songs, he'd crack himself up and make an embarrassed, offhand remark (ex: "Yellow Man").

He was a tremendously charming performer. so, I don't know if we saw a very atypical performance or you did. Interesting though.

326 I know. Mary must have been really pissed when she found out Joseph hadn't made a reservation.

So Holy Tradition makes the claim that Mary was without Sin. Interpreting that in two possible ways:

* Mary was a Proverbs 31 woman and would have made the reservations herself.

* Mary, taking advantage of the perpetual sinless attribute, killed off Joseph through endless nagging and criticism and that is why you don't hear of him after Jesus' first ad hoc sermon at the synagogue.

Mary was rather pushy. When at the Marriage in Caanan, unless Jesus routinely turned water into wine with each meal, saving the family all kinds of money, she had some rather high expectations and nagged our LORD into livening up the party. (I mean, running out of wine, just like Joseph didn't make reservations. We have a pattern here of unmet expectations)

Because they're demented perverts that are in the thrall of Satan. They get their jollies by stealing the innocence of children by using them as sexual objects.

There's a reason Jews and, then Christians, had sexual taboos. The ancient world was awash in all sorts of perverse sexual activity. Prostitutes within the temples of the pagan gods, homosexuality, sex with children, etc. God finally directed the Jews and Christians to work towards stamping out such practices; they'd been fairly successful until now.

Lots of people have turned away from God, and are going to have to re-learn those lessons the hard way.

The enhanced protocols will be put into effect immediately and last through Jan. 1 with an evaluation of their impact no later than Jan. 7. The move follows discussions between the NHL and NHL Players' Association as virus conditions worsen across North America.

Three teams -- Calgary, Colorado and Florida -- are virtually shut down through next week because of virus cases. About 70 players -- 10% of the 700 leaguewide -- are in the NHL's COVID-19 protocols, and the number of games postponed this season has climbed to 20.

346 There's nothing in the Bible to indicate they were alone. Its likely that in tax season like that, and with an already overfilled inn, the stable had several people in it. But it wouldn't be surprising if Joseph knew how to deliver a baby as just a cultural matter of course....

So glad you said that, and so much more succinctly that what I was typing up.

You can bet that any women nearby would hear, and be pitching in to help Mary. Because, you know, women.

347 We are the bride of Christ on earth, however; Angels are created by God and are already in the host of heaven. They aren't subordinate to us.

Would you care to harmonize that statement with 1 Co 6:3?
"Do you not know that we are to judge angels? ..."

Angels are NOT the temple of God nor does the Spirit dwell within them. That is pretty huge that men are in a very close and unique relationship with each member of the Godhead.

348 Black radio host Charlamagne Tha God triggered Kamala Harris on Friday when he asked her to name the "real president."

Harris's staffers tried to shut down the interview, but Charlamagne kept pressing Harris to answer his questions.

Charlamagne asked Harris if Senator Joe Manchin or Joe Biden was the real president -- and Harris blew a gasket!

"Come on, Charlamagne! Come on, it's Joe Biden. No, no, no, no, no! It's Joe Biden! It's Joe Biden -- And don't start talking like a Republican about asking whether or not he's president," Harris said scolding Charlamagne.

Good grief. We were discussing the age old schism of angelic singing - you know, the stuff that denominations split over and wars are waged...

Next week we will pick up on how many angels can dance on the head of a pin. We will burn the heretics before the movie thread.

353 "OSHA does not wish to have any appearance of discouraging workers from receiving COVID-19 vaccination, and also does not wish to disincentivize employers' vaccination efforts. As a result, OSHA will not enforce 29 CFR 1904's recording requirements to require any employers to record worker side effects from COVID-19 vaccination at least through May 2022. We will reevaluate the agency's position at that time to determine the best course of action moving forward."

355 I am glad that Ace posted the Debra Heine piece on gender grooming in Spreckles. Because it clarified for me that the first woman who went after the school board in the Libs of Tik Tok videos waited to blow the whistle until her daughter had transferred to a new school and was in an emotionally stable situation. Mom had really been quite conciliatory toward these aggressive gender-changers earlier.

And the man who spoke in the next video was Grandpa to the schoolgirl, not her Dad.

358 What a surprise - the CDC and states across the country have been over-counting the number of American adults who have been fully vaccinated.

"in collating reams of data on vaccinations, the US has counted too many shots as first doses when they are instead second doses or booster shots."

I don't listen to any academic, ever. I learned that habit in college.

But... to listen to one about something as simple as whether a given human being has a penis or vagina? C'mon. This is silly. Nobody needs this. It's an answer in search of a question, and it found a lady willing to spill ink for cash.

364 OSHA does not wish to have any appearance of discouraging workers from receiving COVID-19 vaccination, and also does not wish to disincentivize employers' vaccination efforts.

Huh? Part one, I get. But OSHA thinks that by not forcing employers to engage in onerous reporting that is a disincentive to employers?

Newspeak is still bullshit. OSHA is just an agency staffed by people who want to get back at 'the man'. Who almost invariably has white skin and a few dollars in the bank and some 'equity' which they feel should be divided up more equitably.

A communist organization in other words. Which Congress has exempted themselves from because, 'Shut up'.

Yudhishthira's Dice at December 18, 2021 03:28 PM

Well, she's educated, but not an academic. The base question may boil down to whether a given human being has a penis or vagina, but the original question to her was whether substantial numbers of girls were being manipulated into thinking that they were boys, and if so, how. She couldn't find a reporter who would look into this, so she tackled the subject herself.

I know one fully adult person who may have been affected by this ideology and vaguely know one transgender person, but I know some high school/college age people who have several friends/acquaintances who are preoccupied with this issue.

So you are probably right when you say that "the fact that this hustle makes money speaks much more poorly of us than it does of her."

371 It's not just school teachers and psychologists pushing the lgb agenda. My x wife tried pushing my oldest son into a gay lifestyle. She was a constantly critical complete bitch to him about everything, except when being gay came up. Then she fawned over him. She even took him shopping once, openly urged him to trade phone numbers with a gay salesman twice his age (he was 17), then fawned about how awesome it was. The guy ended up sending my son obscene photos, so my son blocked the number and refuses to enter that store ever again, but regardless, there are women out there pushing their kids into gay lifestyles. This is broader and deeper than simply perverts running the schools.
