28 My boss, who has stopped wearing the stupid face diaper all the damn time, is now warning us that our employer may require the ridiculous muzzles again because of this Moronic variant fear porn. He wants Personnel to put it in writing that I have an ADA exemption and don't have to wear the thing every minute, and especially in my own office, which I occupy by myself. (Why he can't just tell them to take a flying f*ck at a rolling donut is beyond me.)

There's a Honda dealership I drive past frequently in town - when I went by a couple of weeks ago it took a few seconds to register the entire lot appeared empty. For a second, I thought they'd closed up. But there were a few cars right up next to the building/showroom. Now, there's a few more, but not many. The Ford Store across the street doesn't seem to have quite the same problem.

It's pretty cool though when I check Autotrader and the same car I bought in April 2020 now with higher mileage is $10k more on average. Lexus keeps sending me emails they'll give me 110% of the blue book value. Gee, swell. So then I get to spend 110% for a replacement?

Besides, that means my car increased 40%, and the mileage I put on was free. Not bad.

It's a good question.
Some of these fake-generated hash tags are so well-crafted they can mean whatever the reader prefers.

It's obviously aimed at black racists and white racist progressives. It literally "triggers" all the previously-learned buzzwords such as "privilege" and "problematic."

I visited a friend on the Villanova campus one night. When I got back to my car all my Crosby, Stills Nash, Santana, and Velvet Underground 8 track tapes and my player were gone.

Sadly, the 'chick music' of Carol King and Carly Simon were left on the seat.

It was tough as nails to get VU back in those days and I never was able to replace them.

Besides, that means my car increased 40%, and the mileage I put on was free. Not bad.

When she refused, he fired her on the the spot, and she had to find her own way home from where the tour was at the time.

I was pretty dumb as shit as a teen, and probably only progressed a few notches over the decades. But I *had* read this music review written by a young woman one time about a Grateful Dead album where she said, "it's impossible not to hug the person you're with when you listen to this album". So I purchased it.

Tried it out with the woman I eventually married and two minutes in, no hug, no nothing, except, "What else do you have to listen to?"

So, the unstealable Carly Simon.

The one person he spoke ill of? Jim Morrison. The Doors were one of his LA acts, and he said he breathed a big sigh of relief the day they called and told him Jim had died, because it meant he was finally rid of that particular horrible professional problem.

He also mentioned how much he liked that sewer rat Lou Reed. Lou F'in Reed. When people think Lou Reed is a much better person than you, you know you are total bastard.

What I saw on the local news was he was brought back by drooling Joe with a few thousand other "translators", and then dumped at a dive hotel in SF. They're trying to say he had mental illness, so of course we'd bring him back and then leave him to his own devices while giving him welfare checks and paying for his hotel. How accurate any of that is I have no idea - I'm sure that there's some actual journalists out there who'll get to the bottom of it before it's flushed down the memory hole.

360 Regarding the icon: Many old, valuable icons have been damaged by hundreds of years of veneration in churches. Those painted icons are often placed under a silver covering for protection with only the faces of the Theotokos, Jesus, or a Saint showing. There is an Icon like this in my church. If you could see the entire painted icon, I guarantee that the baby isn't growing out of her neck
