Election Watch Thread/
Brand Shiny New Flag Patch Cafe

A bit of schizophrenia tonight, as this is a combination election watch thread and a cafe. I don't know if the Virginia results are going to come fast or come late. (I hope it's very fast.)

Shock! A heavily leftwing county is going to delay its reporting of votes. For as long as it takes.

Reid J. Epstein
@reidepstein

Some news from Virginia: Fairfax County is delayed in counting and reporting its early vote totals, which the county had promised to make public by 8pm. Unclear how late they will be.

Virginia statewide results here, at the official government website. Polls close at 7.

Here's the NYT website.

New Jersey's polls don't close until 8 so I won't post that until later.

The meme of multiple Spider-Men accusing each other of being fakes is all too real:

spidermanmemeinreallife.jpg

I stumbled across this fun page from an old Spider-Man comic, back when comics were about action, drama, and danger rather than exploring one's bisexuality or homosexuality. I think, but am not sure, that Spider-Man is searching for the Green Goblin here, after the Goblin kidnapped his girlfriend Gwen Stacey. He's searching for Doc Ock.

Cute little hedgehog.

The dog on the right is following my current GAINZZZ plan.

Possum gets tuckered out.

Inman: Soyboy walks into store armed with knife but no testosterone.

Don LeMon in Florida, enjoying going maskless.

Don't assume a guy who's retreating doesn't also know how to attack.

i think you mean John Romita sr.

Also, I like John Romita Sr. the best. Ditko was usually pretty wonky and strange. He started to be more comic book standard at the end of his run. I take Romita to be the classic look Spider-Man.

73 here's a theory:

2020 the Trump folk knew exactly what was going to be attempted, and prepared to gather the evidence of it.

But the bad guys are stonewalling the reform, so now the Trump people are just stymying the fraud, since they don't need evidence anymore. (and the dems can't squawk about being stymied in their fraud efforts)

Example: the 300,000 mail in ballots that the USPS "didn't get out". I bet there's a lot more nervous supervisors, this time around.

107 Remember *Biden's* data team said Trump needed to win PA election voting @53% to win PA.

Trump got 61% of election day voting in PA.

But whatever the actual fraud/manufactured vote count a year ago, it's very likely this preposterous, decrepit, stupid, corrupt, unknown/unliked non-entity from the Beltway (Biden) got 72-78M votes. Against the most effective president (in many key areas) anyone alive had ever seen.

THIS is the size of the anchor around the national neck. NaCly's former neighbors, Ignoramus's family (and neighbors/friends/family of many of us) are the problem - not unseen dark forces, not furrin billionaires, not domestic billionaires. Though the GOP actually is a significant part of the problem - including most of its voters, and clearly its entire "leadership" class, down to state and county level.

Idiotic misinformed child-like voters (which clearly is a large %, and not only on the Dem side) didn't get where they are by being thoughtful, worldly, intelligent, informed, experienced, or serious (as voters). There *is* no learning curve (the jaw-dropping stories demonstrating this are beyond number).

The malicious cycle really has no governor on it. And with the society reaping, to some large extent, the fruit of several decades of collapsed education, and collapsed civic education and life, hard to see the basis for renewal.

But - I'll say this - an 11 point margin, pre-fraud, is a pretty damn clear indication that the peeps of Virginia are not happy. And were willing to give the ol' Democratic Process one more chance to make it right. I think it's foolish and naive - but admirable at the same time. Like your neighbor going out there and using the old hand trimmers around his house.

The only problem is - it's the Democratic Process. And the Democrats own it.

Likely the CSR is/was having a bad month on her numbers and had management breathing down her neck.

307 Baris: Right now, looks like Youngkin win by 1-2%.

Counting votes isn't hard. Projecting vote counts isn't much harder. It's basic Algebra. Look at a map - note the county by county trends - and make a simple model. No harder than taking data points and fitting a simple curve. You can do it in Excel - even for higher order functions.

I'd like to see the math, where you look at votes currently counted and see ten point swings from past trends, yet assume the final contest would be within a point or two.

Nah - fuck their math. It's all based on a huge dump of fraudulent votes. And they'd never let you actually see that constant in their formulas.

Turnout is hard to poll for accurately. One of the majors (NBC or ABC, IIRC) made the effort in 2016 but ignored the results because it came back too old and too white. They literally said so in a footnote

Some news from Virginia: Fairfax County is delayed in counting and reporting its early vote totals, which the county had promised to make public by 8pm. Unclear how late they will be.

A smart commenter in the last thread said red districts should do the same. No red district should report until all blues are in.

Specificity matters here. While ballots are indeed sent through the US mail, that isn't really what you're talking about.

The real high powered fraud are unsecured, phony balogna "drop boxes" which have nothing to do with the postal service or official election mail and have no chain of custody or controls. They are just a free lance mechanism for fraud.

We've been playing this game in WA for over a decade. Ballots "found" in car trunks, warehouses, wherever. Just enough to push the Dem over the top.
Posted by: 29Victor
---
The 2004 WA State Governor election was the prototype for UniParty election theft. It had it all, ballot harvesting, mail drops, questionable people running King County, signature issues, screwed up voter rolls, new discovered ballots, recounts, that all resulted in a stunning come from behind for the Democrat by just enough votes that it couldn't be easily challenged. Why vote em when you can just count em.
