The Morning Report - 10/29/21

bidensuppchnz.jpg

Good morning, kids. The weekend is here and the theme for today is desperation. On the one hand, as all the schemes, scams and shams inflicted on us since last January and well before by the junta that overthrew America are finally exposed or explode in their faces, they are doubling and tripling down, even as we lay battered and bleeding on the pavement from every orifice. In some cases that isn't a metaphor, as the poor girl who made the mistake of going to the bathroom at her Loudon County school discovered.

Let's go around the horn and do it as Ace-style quick hits. First up, the Chinese grift horse that keeps on giving - - mostly excuses to take away your freedom.

It goes without saying that parents almost always know what's best for their kids. But the FDA and woke officials in the White House and Congress don't agree. They intend to force [Chinese] COVID vaccines on your kids, whether you like it or not. Don't let them. It's politics, not science.

In a desperate bid to find more [Chinese] COVID victims to save with experimental vaccines, the Federal Drug Administration just gave the Pfizer anti-[Chinese] COVID vaccine "emergency use" authorization for children aged 5-11. Get ready for a big propaganda push. . .

. . . As with lockdowns, vaccine mandates are not really about health at all. They're about control. In this case, government control of your children.

The Biden [junta] and its many supporters on the left want you to think, "government knows best." No doubt they'll eventually accuse vaccine-hesitant families of being child abusers. But it is they, forcing the shot on children, who are the abusers.

After all, control is the reason why the White House and far-left congressional Democrats call hundreds of thousands of parents "domestic terrorists" simply for objecting to schools imposing insane woke identity politics and Marxist critical race theory propaganda on their children.

And that segues us quite nicely to the mind-rape and now the government-sanctioned rape-rape of our children.

The Loudon County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) refused to comply with Superintendent Scott Ziegler's request to weaponize law enforcement against parents who wanted to voice their concerns with Loudoun County Public Schools' behavior at school board meetings, documents obtained by Fox News indicate.

Ziegler, who denied there was any record of an assault ever occurring in an LCPS bathroom, sent an email on August 6 to the LCSO asking for a "five-person Quick Reaction Force (QRF)," multiple undercover deputies, and even a special operations team on standby for the district to utilize for school board meetings. Fox News reported that, according to Sheriff Mike Chapman, there were already security measures in places including "10 armed security personnel and magnetometers for people entering the building."

Sheriff Mike Chapman denied Ziegler's "extraordinary" request and said that the school district was asking for more than was necessary.

"[Y]our request is extraordinary and would likely constitute LCSO's commitment of a minimum of approximately 65 sworn deputies. Despite this, you fail to provide any justification for such a manpower intensive request," Chapman replied. He told Fox News that he bolded the words "extraordinary" and "any justification" in his original email for emphasis.

Considering the actions and inaction of police around the country (always a hot topic of contention on this here blog and elsewhere), vis a vis allowing the mass destruction of scores of metropolitan areas in the summer of 2020, it's good to know there are some uniformed peace officers who will refuse to blindly follow an insane fuhrerbefehel.

Switching it up, like a case of virulent genital herpes, "va" Gina McCarthy erupts onto the scene to assure us that despite skyrocketing fuel prices, supply chain shortages and crippling stagflation that is turning whatever savings you have into used toilet paper - that is if toilet paper is even available - the EPA is committed to wiping out fossil fuels once and for all.

Host Hallie Jackson asked, "[T]hat big oil hearing on Capitol Hill, significant, frankly, historic that they're all coming together. There's this sort of -- argument that you've heard some Republicans make that more regulations could lead to higher gas and oil prices, etc. I wonder how you respond to that and your reaction to what you have been able to see so far related to this hearing that is still ongoing, by the way.

McCarthy responded, "Yeah, well, this is basically a day of reckoning, I think, for the oil and gas sector. Because for many decades, they denied climate change. And now that we're, every day, seeing the wildfires, the droughts, the floods, the heat stress, people are no longer listening to that or tolerating it. So, they can't get away with that anymore. They have to get serious about delivering clean energy and electricity to the people in this country, and they have to stop with the deception and move into this decade and help us make the transition to clean energy so that we can win the 21st century here. So, there's no more hiding climate change. There's no more climate deniers. This is just about who wins the future, and whoever addresses climate in the smartest way, which we intend to do, is going to be the big winner."

Despite the fact that reams and reams of scientific evidence - real, actual, verifiable scientific evidence and not Michael Mann's hockey "schtick" - completely debunk the myth of anthropogenic "global warming" or "climate change," the junta is going to turn the critical problem of a fouled supply chain into an absolute catastrophe. I cannot put too fine a point on it but oil is life. Ditto times a thousand for carbon dioxide. You do away with petrochemicals and you do away with more than just gas-guzzling evil SUVs. Virtually everything you interact with on a daily basis is either made from or relies on some form of carbon compound for its existence. And, Miss McCarthy, that includes FOOD, which you appear to consume con gusto. Ironically, the ghoulish concoctions from Pfizer, Moderna and J&J as well as real, useful medicines that actually fight real diseases would be impossible to manufacture without oil.

It's obvious that a big part of this is a political move to both deflect from the self-inflicted multiple catastrophes of the junta as well as attempt to set the table for some sort of political win at that idiotic Glasgow Climate Conference while placating the Maoist base here in the US. I'll get back to food and fuel shortages momentarily. But this too is desperation.

We are at or very close to an inflection point in this country. "Let's Go Brandon/Fuck Joe Biden" has become ingrained in the national conscience and it's becoming a battle cry. Anecdotal? Incidental? Flash in the pan? We shall see. I said there were two sides to the desperation angle and I've already highlighted a few on the part of the Junta. You add to it the fate of Terry McAuliffe and perhaps even the equally horrendous Phil Murphy of New Jersey, as well as these multi-trillion dollar fiascos and the Left is for sure feeling the heat. We'll know for sure if their fears are warranted since a McAuliffe win would serve to underscore that elections are no long free and fair in the wake of 2020.

As to that inflection point, I am getting the sense that we're approaching the very end of the "slowly" part of the program and the signpost up ahead coming into view reads "all at once." $450,000 for every illegal alien detainee? Crippling petrochemicals in the midst of a fouled up supply chain with winter coming on? Vaccination or gulag? Gulag for protesters?

When 200 million or more of us (to hell with the 100 million who support this crap) are starving and shivering, desperation becomes a two-way street. At that point, all bets are off.

Have a good weekend.

What a laugh. Droughts, floods, wildfires consuming America, huh? That's news to me. Heat stress? What the hell is heat stress? Oh, let me take a wild guess that it's the phony reason for all of the illegal migration. They're escaping heat stress caused by climate change. Who falls for this crap???

And on that note, who falls for it? Well, based on evidence I've seen, not many. Climate change continually polls at the bottom of the concern barrel for most people. So the "people are no longer listening to that or tolerating it..." applies to McCarthy and the Democrats and global communists shoving this phony crises down our throats for 30 years. Which, of course, is why they're going to ram it all home while they have the power to do so. Will of the people be damned.

++++
The only thing somewhat new is that it involves an experimental shot to offer marginal at best protection against a disease that children essentially do not get. The attitude, however, is not new. This is the underpinning attitude that came to the fore in the Virginia gubernatorial battle about parents and schools. The masters of the universe who control the state and other institutions have long disagreed with the premise that parents know what's best for their kids. Indeed, they disregard even the possibility but anyone but themselves know what's best for anyone (but especially children).

The schools in particular do this. They do know what's best. You as the parent are, at best, a bumbling oaf who can only be a chaotic neutral presence in the lives of your children. They are the experts, and you need to do what you're told and hand your children over for their own good.

71 Yeah, blue checks on twitter are REALLY freaking out about Tucker's 1/6 documentary series. Like, they are demanding it be shit down now because it will start a civil war.

@JGreenblatADL -- I wrote to FOXNews that this "documentary" is nothing short of absurd and it will continue to fan the flames of extremists and conspiracy theorists. This is dangerous, and it's no surprise that Tucker Carlson is leading the charge bringing fringe ideas to the masses.

@LynzforCongress -- The freedom of speech is not absolute. it can be restricted where it incites imminent lawless action. Tucker Carlson and Fox News are creating propaganda to incite a Civil War.

@AVindman -- He is an anarchist; an arsonist of American democracy. How is this different than yelling fire in a crowded theater? Carlson is attempting to incite a riotous mob. He should be censured. I'd like to hear the arguments for/against this being protected speech.

77 So, Fox does its thing for months of trying to sway public opinion of the VA governor's race through its polling but has to give up in the week before the election. They have to try to get it accurate.

And suddenly it's a massive swing in the other direction?

Polling is broken, but firms can try to get it right. It's obvious that the public ones really don't try to get it right very often.

But, if this new public poll from Fox is reflective of the internal polls that McAullife has been seeing for months then suddenly his behavior over the last few weeks makes a whole lot more sense.

This is just about who wins the future, and whoever addresses climate in the smartest way, which we intend to do, is going to be the big winner."

Don't speak for me, bitch. We've had wild weather for the entirety of history. We always have and we always will. Climate change, real or not, doesn't change that one bit. Know what I want? I want A/C to take the edge of the heat. I want a furnace to take the edge off the cold. I want to be able to supplement that with a cool glass of clean water, treated and purified and delivered to my house and enjoyed with a meal of unspoiled food. When that runs its course, I want a sewer system to take away the effluent that remains. I want all of that to not put me into the poor house

And all of that requires energy. Lots of it. But whatever. You're just promoting massive death and misery.

113 The very nature of polling is to influence, not inform. There is really no other reason for it, because ultimately, what does it matter to a single voter how others vote? It shouldn't. 120 MSM trying to stop Tucker by smearing Rupert Murdoch as a 1/6 Truther, by smearing co-writer as a Pizzagater, and likening him to Alex Jones.

@WillSommer -- Tucker Carlson has a co-writer on his controversial Jan. 6 docu-series. His other credits include directing a movie for Pizzagate conspiracy theorist and another about a Confederate flag-themed superhero.

@oliverdarcy -- "By airing it, Fox News demonstrates yet again a willingness to profit from tearing the country down." -- WashPost

@oliverdarcy -- Tucker Carlson says he is actually doing an entire "week-long event" devoted to 1/6 trutherism.

Again, what is the difference between this stuff and what airs on InfoWars? The only key difference I can think of is that Tucker Carlson has a much larger platform.

And that explains the freakout. Noticed there's no anti-Tucker hashtag -- they don't want this to trend, lol.

132 Good morning, kids. The weekend is here and the theme for today is desperation."

I don't feel any desperation, I feel oddly elated at this turn of events. Our enemies are losing control of the situation - they were supposed to pass their Great Big Bill yesterday and they couldn't even come up with anything to vote on.

Of course things are terrible and getting worse, but I accepted that as a given on Dec 10, 2020. What would be depressing would be if everything was working well, because then our enemies would be building and maintaining their power.

they're not. Of course there's going to be a great deal of chaos and destruction before they're gone, but that's how these things go. I've known that since Dec 10, 2020, also. The only question is the timing, and now it's starting to feel that it will be sooner, not later. Yeah, it's going to be a bumpy ride, strap yourself down.

A woman who lied to her own husband while she screwed a guy on her payroll?

Is there anything Omar/Said is not willing to lie about? If there is, we haven't seen or heard about it yet.

A billion dollars? Annual revenue for them in 2020 was about $14.4 billion. $10.3 billion of that was tools. I don't know how much of the inventory floating around waiting for dock space is tools versus industrial or security equipment, but given the season it's likely tools in the majority. I also don't know if that billion dollars in inventory is retail or wholesale value, but I would assume wholesale.

If those assumptions are correct - that the inventory is estimated at wholesale and that it is largely tools and other stuff sold at retail, that's about 10% of their annual revenue (barring massive growth in 2021) floating around and missing the Christmas season. That's a disaster by any standard. Offshore manufacturing is so efficient and wonderful and accretive to shareholder value.

For anyone who doesn't click the link, hospitals are now creating stroke codes for kids. They've never had them before because strokes are not generally something that happens in kids and it's never been something that needed a code to be broadcasted out in hospital.

And on the side of a bus is a sign that says "kids have strokes, too!" in order to condition people to accept that kids have strokes all the time and it's perfectly normal.

In part. As TJM pointed out, nominal GDP growth was around 7.8% per the BEA. To come in with a 2% real growth rate, that implies that inflation was around 5.8%. That is likely low.

Inflation adjustment is only only one problem. Remember also that government spending, even debt-financed and inflationary, is counted on the "plus" side of GDP. Additional government spending in Q3 is bigger than the GDP growth after adjusting for inflation (in dollar terms). Without that "stimulus," we'd be in recession - which means we're in recession in reality and have been (off and on) for a decade or more.

Sometimes enough people need to say enough is enough. Sure there is a deep state. And they will be beyond pissed if a Repub wins where they have their homesteads. I say vote like crazy, bring three other people and drive on like you never have before. we can talk about how we never had a chance on Nov. 3. Right now the play is to do everything you can to win and not bitch about how we never can again.

In all totalitarian states, the Left feels that it must have total control of The Narrative to stay in power, and they lash out at anyone who doesn't stay in step. This is because they know their hold on Power is fragile, and is built on lies, and it is why Freedom of Speech is one of the first things eliminated in any totalitarian system.

The simple fact that Tucker can publicly dissent is a mortal challenge to their hold on Power, and they know it.

The critics whom all hailed Black Panther (Black fucking Panther) as one of the greatest films of the century can't bring themselves to do the same thing for the most diverse superhero movie ever, even with a gay sex scene (apparently).

And the score will probably go further down as further less professional critics add their scores in.

I believe it currently stands as the lowest rated Marvel movie of the whole MCU.

I agree, except it goes deeper. The unelected agencies are the real obstacle. Philip Hamburger wrote a book about this eight or ten years ago, and Trump popularized the term "Deep State", but it really effectively fought back and deposed Trump and is very dangerous to us. I have no idea how you run a giant bureaucracy without creating a dangerous anti-republican force, like we have now, but we have to fix this.

Same here with a lady at Kroger. Zero turkeys there so far and the manager told them not to expect to get many when they finally do get them. That's not new, it's just blunter than they usually are. The Postmodern interpretation and explanation has always been "racism is a function of power, and flows from the powerful to be used against the disempowered." In the west, whites have power. Ergo, whites are racist and non-whites cannot be. Racism is not racial hatred is not bigotry. It's a power function.

AT&Ts materials just took a slightly different step and rather than depersonalizing the argument and implying that whites are evil racist bastards, they said so directly.

It's not a debt if you pay before taking the merchandise. Walking up to the counter with something but not having the money doesn't imply a debt. It's a transaction and a delivery that never happened. An opposite case would be a restaurant. You ordered, they delivered, you ate. There is now a debt. You owe them for the meal. In that case, I think they'd *have* to accept cash unless they told you in advance that they don't take cash and you accepted those terms (which would essentially be a contract).

The "do not speak it and it does not exist" is the key element. Not only don't speak it, but don't think it. If possible, be *unable* to think it.

As to your guide, it essentially already exists in terms of having the essentials. 1984 is often considered a "must read" for very good reasons, but in my opinion the narrative is actually less valuable than Orwell's appendix to the book. That appendix, called "The Principles of Newspeak," lays out how Newspeak works and why it was essential. It is this precise point: to prevent bad thoughts that are counter to the principles and methods of the rulers. It is not only worth reading on its own (even absent the book), but in my opinion it is invaluable.

I pay my bills and rent with checks, and pay my barber the same way; and I use a card for gasoline at the moment. If I order anything online, of course, I have to use a card. But almost everything else is cash.

People ask me why I don't pay bills online. I say, "They are saving money, but they're not passing the savings on to me." Same reason why I hate self-checkout, plus it's slower -- and every one of 'em has that damn camera right in my face.

395 Since they tend to do everything for a reason, this is so insane, I'm not sure I can fathom a reason. Are they that deluded and deep in their bubble? An ultimate gaslight? It's pure insanity.

Not really. Virginia is a blue state and they've been early voting since 9/17. Youngkin's numbers changed when the parents realized what their kids were being taught and the word got out. It may be a little too late.

Posted by: redridinghood at October 29, 2021 08:28 AM (NpAcC)

In Virginia, yes. Sure nothing is ever over, but yeah it is pretty much over. Now is the time in my opinion. I have been watching that state's politics a long time. If this one doesn't work, it is not a good sign.

400 I have paid workers at our place cash. Some of the service calls won't do cash because rules, but I had a guy out here to drop some trees and clean up some of the mess from an ice storm a couple years ago. He quoted me a price and I paid in cash. He was more than happy to do a little extra since he had the money in his pocket.

Funny, I recall reading that in the medieval period, that's about how many men and courtiers the King of England would take with him when he decided to travel to some noble's house out in the sticks. And, if you were "blessed" enough to have the King visit you personally, you had to pay for the room and board of all of them for as long as they stayed.

404 Rutgers has a very good agricultural school; We were thinking of investigating our son going there, but maybe a school in the Midwest would be better.

410 Government COVID Questions:
Please describe the nature of your objection to the COVID-19 vaccination requirement: It's made/tested/evaluated with cells from aborted babies!

Would complying with the COVID-19 vaccination requirement substantially burden your religious
exercise? If so, please explain how: The same way being told to eat human flesh or murder someone would

How long have you held the religious belief underlying your objection? Ever since I was old enough to understand killing babies was wrong.

Please describe whether, as an adult, you have received any vaccines against any other diseases... vaccine you most recently received : Yes, taken just about all vaccines. Took the COVID vax BEFORE I know it was derived, directly or indirectly, from aborted babies. I feel dirty, and I blame YOU for not telling me beforehand.

If you do not have a religious objection to the use of all vaccines, please explain why your objection
is limited to particular vaccines: It's made of f'n babies, you worshippers of Molock!
