The projects have been paused since January as the agency pondered a final determination to cancel the projects or allow some to continue. The decision brings finality to all remaining projects in South Texas.

In my meetings with other aspiring GOP politicians, I said that if you cheat and win, the elections would be a lot cleaner. They blew me off.

On my last election, in 2020, I was unopposed. Lots of voters, but I got only 57% of my vote total when I won by 56 votes in 2016. Kansas used Dominion machines in 2020.

Not at all. My barber with the health issues would be uncomfortable with customers not wearing the face diaper; he's the one who has swallowed the govt. line all the way. He got the coof, as I understand it, last year; then was knocked on his back when he (foolishly) took the first shot, and again when he (crazily) took the second.

I don't want to argue with him. But I will ask politely when I go back if I can ditch the muzzle, since he has other customers who do.

I also plan to stop wearing my college ring. I graduated from this place in '94, and have always been proud of it. When my wife assumed a position of restaurant manager at an assisted living community she was given a packet of material to study. I read through it, because I read everything.

Something that caught my eye was information about the necessity of extremely fast cleanup of vomit. They actually had some study that proved that being exposed to only 50 particles of whatever viral material was in the air from the vomit would sicken anyone. Think how cruise ships sometimes have viral outbreaks causing severe gastrointestinal distress for short periods.

Anyway, if exposed to less then 50 particles would not sicken someone, can we be in a similar situation with 'rona? So that's why I wear a mask whenever around too many people. I figure it's not perfect but it will keep the particle count somewhat lower.

It's fitting that a D List Federation ship would face D List enemies like the Pakleds.

110 I've got to submit my religious exemption statement this week. The deadline is supposed to be 10/15, Friday. No idea how long it will take to get the decision back. If it goes against me, I'll mount more pushback, and try harder to get some of my colleagues in other departments to do the same.

--

I feel for you, Wolfus. It's unbelievable what this fraudulent "president" and these fascist corporations are doing to the American people. Serious pushback is the only thing that will stop it. If half the people walked off their jobs (and they know most cannot for financial reasons), if half the people in this country simply stopped shopping with companies that are denying services or dividing us by shot status, they would be in a massive world of hurt.

If your religious exemption gets canned, identify as a USPS employee. Give a list of all the exemptions Puddin' Brain has given and pepper them with justification about why, if this is such a health emergency, humanity hanging in the balance, were 1000s and 1000s of people exempted?

That is called "truthiness" when a person, with very limited or erroneous knowledge on a subject fakes it by doing things that seem reasonable.

You read "particles" without any idea of the size, lifetime, moisture, ability to be an aerosol, ability to be filtered, any knowledge of what a filter might look like or do...

You see the point. Innumerate and uneducated people believed the lie about the ability of masks while they never asked why no one in real life relies on paper or cloth masks while spray painting, sanding, or in a bio medical hazard lab.

The cognitive dissonance is real. 2020 and 2021 have been very rough on the psychological and mental state of so many people - people will believe any lie now.

So a virus can spread through populations and become endemic to an entire planet of 7 billion people but is going to be deterred by a, from the perspective of the virus, an open gate attacched your face?

That's not how any of this works.

I find it particular hysterical seeing hipster douchebags with gigantic and ironic beards wearing face diapers.

There's a reason humans have not habitually worn face coverings since the discovery of viruses.

As has been said, epidemiology and virology are no longer a thing.

When I looked into it years ago, coz a hematoloist wanted me to get an upper and lower endoscopy because of anemia - the insurance company would only cover everything if the colonoscopy was a screening.

If a doctor orders it for diagnostic reasons, then it's not a screening and you have to pay whatever deductible etc.

And even if it's a screening, if the find like a polyp and remove it just in case (which they commonly do) then again it's no longer a screening but a treatment or something.

So, that's kinda why I blew that whole thing off. Just stay out of my orifices, ok.

Dust masks don't work, at least, not enough to matter. But they are particularly or especially ineffective against an engineered virus. This is the hallmark of government stupidity and bureacracy, as anyone who has served in the military can attest. Sooner or later, you will be made to do something particularly stupid, along with everyone else, even though everybody knows it is completely ineffectual, pointless, and even degrading, in some cases. TONS of people do. It's what the entire last two years (and election) were based on.

Fun fact: The CDC (and states because they base their standards on it) hasn't changed their standard on their contact tracing page this entire time. The same group terrifying the nation simultaneously admits you have to be within six feet of a sick person AND be within that space for 15 minutes before you potentially maybe possibly could maybe catch the China Flu.

"Contact tracing will be conducted for close contacts (any individual within 6 feet of an infected person for a total of 15 minutes or more) of laboratory-confirmed or probable COVID-19 patients."

https://tinyurl.com/66n8tyrc

NOWHERE is that realistically discussed. Nowhere is that part of protocol. Instead it's "Walk down the aisles at the Walmart in one direction or risk arrest, citizen. Stay safe!"

I might have phrased it poorly. It might should have been "why is anyone an admiral if they can exist with the same life and benefits mopping floors."

I'm not a Trekkie although I own the TOS blu-rays and am working my way through, but I have read people discussing the Space Utopia aspect here and wondered if the series - especially since it seems to deal with the (ahem) less able - might have touched on some of those topics and questions.

See the concept of "infectious dose". This the amount (typically number of pathogens, whether bacteria or virus) that will result in an infection of 50% of the population so exposed. Similar to LD50 in concept.

With viruses, the replication factor is so large, that once you're over the ID50, it doesn't matter any more. Now, with bacterial infection, it is different, as the replication factor is generally 2. One bacterium splits in two.

With a virus, one virion that infects a cell will produce 100s to 1000s of copies of itself. Once you hit the ID50, you're infected. Doesn't matter how much over the limit you are.

Again, all the science shows that these stupid masks are useless for an airborne virus.

You want to be protected. Try P100, not N95. And you better learn the protocols to don and doff the P100 respirators so as not to immediately contaminate yourself taking them off.

Right. How long between the time you sense a sneeze approaching and actually sneezing? Enough time to pull a mask out of your pocket and affix it to your face? Just how much bacteria is in a persons mouth, that certainly should not be sprayed into an open wound?

Also, had the Deep State not rigged and stolen the 2020 election for Biden, I wonder if President Trump's first order of business upon his victory would have been to fire Fauci and put the FLCCC doctors in charge of the COVID-19 Task Force.

Not sure it would matter though, considering the Deep State would still be in charge of the government and leaders of every government agency would still have been sabotaging President Trump at every opportunity. I could imagine that even if President Trump and the FLCCC doctors recommended treatments of HCQ, Ivermectin, monoclonal antibodies, etc., that the Deep State would have ordered the FCA and CDC to reject that outright.

I'm thinking that with the visceral fat competes with the organs which compress the variable things like lungs. For example, a large reason why one shouldn't go swimming immediately after eating is because the stomach is competing for space and drops lung capacity which is sort of important for swimming.

262 After being in the Navy and also trained at the Columbia Fire Academy for the fire brigade at work I can tell you that the firemen do NOT wear air filtering masks into a fire site. In the Navy you wore an OBA, firemen and the firebrigade at work wore a Scott Air Pack. It does no good to filter out smoke and let the poisonous fums from burning material through.

Yep, and just as with the SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 Plandemic where every hospital is incentivized to lie about "cases", "hospitalizations" and "deaths" by getting taxpayer dollars through federal government, so too has that been happening for decades with regards to "global warming"/"climate change/crisis/emergency".

Not only are scientists' careers threatened if they speak up, they are incentivized to lie by getting federal funding.

Whenever I see someone wearing a mask, I see them the same way I see someone wearing a tinfoil hat (like the scene when Mel Gibson walks into the room to see his kids and brother sitting on the bed with tinfoil hats on in "Signs"). They serve the same purpose... to make people "feel safe", but not actually do anything functional. And they are a signal that the wearer is completely ignorant of that fact.

Let me tell you a story about masks -- you know those 3M "dust masks". I'm sort of allergic to grain dust. Not very good when you grow up on a farm. Through my teen years and into my 20s, I just toughed it out, until one fine day, I nearly had an asthma attack from some oat dust. I had unloaded a load and was driving the truck home. I had to pull over, because I thought I was going to pass out.

I was about 30. After than, I went to Grainger and got a full faceplate respirator with P100 filters. That was the only level that would keep me "safe"

Those stupid dusk masks were worthless. N95 level, and I could still "smell" the grain dust. I'd sneeze. P100 in front of an organic vapor cartridge, and I was good.

Oh, and the output of those is not filterted. So, if I was expelling something, it goes right into the outside. That P100/OV full faceplate respirator only protects me from the input air.

Like the law matters anymore. The Supreme Court was willing to ignore the constitution when states and localities started shutting down churches and/or putting ludicrous restrictions on how many could attend services, while at the same time allowing venues like casinos to operate unrestricted.

All the government had to do was claim "public health emergency" and the courts, including the majority on the Supreme Court, were willing to let them do whatever the hell they wanted. Law no longer matters.
