We used to have stewardesses, who were hired to be friendly and attractive, catering to the predominant air travelers at the time, businessmen. 122 I stopped flying after getting out of the service. I have a good idea of how and how well commercial planes are maintained and inspected.

And altho it seems as if we have a good record there actually should be zero faults and the ones that show up seem to mostly be about training, maintenance or production.

When I started rejecting flying things weren't really so bad but I felt they would get worse. And they did and they have.

Millions of parts and lines of code and all of it supposed to be inspected but that's nigh impossible. And all the parts don't meet the requirements and the code can be wrong but not enough to ring any bells.

Ever since 9/11 I've been very glad I stopped.

Twice now I've seriously considered going ahead and getting it. The odds are in my favor but it's scary and I don't usually get flu shots cause they're made for a flu you may not have or get.

So even tho I don't have the covid, my life is being threatened. Like so many others. Things are gonna blow up I expect.
