"We have seen growing evidence that the dangers to our country can come not only across borders but from violence that gathers within," he said. Alluding to American citizens who stormed Capitol Hill to protest the 2020 election, the former president stated:It's easy to focus your rage at the Left and rail against "President-for-Life" Joey Soft-Serve. But never forget that without the lies and protection offered by the GOP (a party that is the moral equivalent of remora, hovering around a shark to catch the scraps after it devours its prey), we wouldn't be where we are today, poised on the edge of a bottomless abyss. George W. Bush's words weren't stupid or thoughtless. He knew exactly what he was saying. He views all of us with exactly the same contempt as Biden, or John Kerry or Nazi collaborator George Soros, or Anthony Fauci or the Australian Health Minister Kerry Chant or every other bureaucrat, technocrat, minister, secretary in every parliament, Congress or agency in every capital of whatever the hell is left of the "free world." The past 60 years, with brief pauses during the Reagan and Trump administrations, have all been a lie. We were taught to revere the flag, the Constitution, our culture and our forbears while those who every two to four years draped themselves in the aforementioned to get elected did everything they could once in office to sell it off and goniff the proceeds. So, now we openly have a party whose main political stance is the declaration of the illegitimacy of this nation and the evil heart of at least half its citizenry, with the goal of "fundamentally transforming" by punishing, subjugating or otherwise eliminating said mass of citizens, now the enemy. Or, as George W. Bush has so helpfully and eagerly defined them, "the terrorists." Well, Dubya, if that's how you want to define me, then so be it. But for sure, we are NOT with you. Even in the midst of all this darkness and chaos, there are things that give me hope. America for sure is no more. But we Americans are still here. There are only two potential outcomes: we will either triumph over this and restore freedom or we won't. We may not be alive to see how it all plays out. In fact, the playing out itself may very well consume us.. But this cannot go on. One way or another. And you're either with us or you're with the terrorists. There is little cultural overlap between violent extremists abroad and violent extremists at home. But in it's disdainful pluralism, in their disregard for human life, in their determination to defile national symbols, they are children of the same foul spirit and it is our continuing duty to confront them."The only place Bush should be on 9/11 is answering to the American people for all his lies," Washington Congressional candidate and retired Army Special Forces chief warrant officer Joe Kent wrote. "Instead he's just showing us that the regime is not just one party, it's the ruling class that despises us & is not done exploiting us," he added. . . . . . "When Occupy Democrats is cheering George W Bush you might be confused if you haven't been paying attention," political correspondent Jack Posobiec wrote. "Bush is publicly comparing 9/11 to Jan 6," he wrote in another tweet. "They want Trump supporters treated like jihadists." "Are you paying attention yet?" he added.

Thought some folks at AoS might be interested in this new album commemorating 9/11.
"End of Innocence" is a new solo album by former YES keyboardist Tony Kaye, honoring the victims and heroes of 9/11 utilizing film soundtrack, prog, classical, jazz and ambient elements. Mr. Kaye was a founding member of YES and did two stints in the band, from 1969-71 and 1983-94. In his long and interesting career, Tony Kaye has toured with David Bowie and also played with Flash, Badger, Detective and Badfinger. Most recently, Kaye has been with YES sister-band CIRCA for a number of years, and made many fine modern prog-rock albums with them, while occasionally joining his former YES-mates in concert for special appearances. Here is "Hope and Triumph" from End of Innocence: https://tinyurl.com/4fuwd2nf Roger Dean did the artwork. Great LP from a cool dude. Posted by: Guy Smiley at September 13, 2021 06:38 AM (Bmy3R) 23

is arguably Donald Trump's greatest achievement during his time in office was destroying the illusion of American republican democracy and exposing the corrupt enterprise intent on dismantling the nation as founded and relegating its people as mere serfs of a "new world order."
++++ That's my take. It was his most valuable service. He demonstrated clearly things that many had suspected but relatively few really believed: that the "two parties" are merely two sides of the same coin, that the presidency is an empty office without Party backing, that the permanent bureaucratic state is unaccountable and in command, that the Republic is dead (and probably long since dead). There is still a landmass and a state structure called "The United States of America," but the concept and philosophy behind it - the Republic in essence and in practical reality - is dead. I don't know what comes next, but that chapter is closed. Posted by: Joe Mannix (Not a cop!) at September 13, 2021 06:39 AM (3p5uk) 26

++++ I voted for W. From what I knew at the time and as compared to alternatives, I do not regret having done so. In retrospect things are clearer, but at the time they were not. I also admire some of what Bush 43 did in the realm of foreign policy, particularly his realignment to the Pacific and the formation of the 4x4 structure to check China (militarily, anyway). I have not been as hard on W as many here have been. No more. He just equated hosts of ordinary people - people who rue and lament the death of their country and the ascending new world order built in the image of asshats like the World Economic Forum and who hold the ruling structure of this former Republic in contempt - with Islamic terrorists. No one of any quality, no one honest, no one with so much as a scintilla of intelligence or honesty could make that comparison. Screw him in particular. "Republicans have backed Democrats into a corner by refusing to help them raise the national debt. It's silly, really. Republicans just spent four years jacking up deficits by cutting taxes and raising spending on social programs. For them to stand on principles of responsible fiscal policy now is ludicrous. But politics is a game of musical chairs. And once the music stops, neither party wants to be stuck having to explain why the national debt needs to be raised from $28 trillion to $32 trillion."

"Joe Biden Committed a War Crime by Drone Striking Civilian Aid Worker, Not ISIS, Evidence Reveals"
What to say about all of this. First, Biden ham-handedly pulls troops out of Afghanistan, simply to be able to gloat about doing it on the 20th anniversary of 9/11/01. Then, realizing his mistake, he hurriedly sends Marines back into Afghanistan. Because of this, 13 soldiers are unnecessarily killed. And then, to divert press attention from that mistake, says that he's going to kill the organizers of the strike that killed those soldiers. In doing that, he kills ten innocent people - a fact the press promptly ignores until releasing the information on a day that nobody will be looking. Oh, and on top of that, because of this entire cluster[redacted], he ends up not even mention pulling our forces out this past Saturday -- which, remember, he originally planned to do all along. Therefore, those 13 soldiers literally died for nothing. Biden is, by far, the worst 'president' in my lifetime. I loathe this creature. Words cannot describe how much I can't stand this man, this Administration, and this press corps. Posted by: Darrell Harris at September 13, 2021 07:01 AM (mdjgu) 74

Ex-Obama CIA Head Calls For Investigation Into Kabul Drone Strike That Allegedly Killed Innocents
++++ As much as at least one faction of the politburo and deep state want to get rid of Biden now that's he's served his purpose, this will not be the way they do it. This CIA guy is off the reservation and I suspect he knows it. This drone strike will not be pursued, because it might end up difficult to contain the collateral damage if they do so. This strike in question is essentially no different than any other. The intelligence was bad, we picked the wrong target and we killed the wrong people. That is shameful but likely not criminal. It is really far less vague - in terms of legality and morality - than drone-striking American citizens abroad. And who did that? Obama did that. They won't pursue this thread. This letter is a request for a religious exemption to COMAPNYs COVID-19 vaccination requirement in accordance with Title VII. As A Christian, I have a sincerely held religious belief in the sanctity of life. Life begins at conception and we are all created in God's image with a life worthy of living. Elective abortion and the use of products of conception related to abortion for medical purposes is a sin against God. The COVID-19 vaccines administered and required per COMPANY policy all use aborted fetal cells in either their testing or manufacture. Therefore the use of these vaccines makes me complicit in abortion and makes me morally accountable to God in sin.
The Catholic Church teaches that "vaccination is not, as a rule, a moral obligation and that, therefore, it must be voluntary." Thus, the Catholic Church teaches that I must not be forced to take a COVID-19 vaccine. The Catholic organization the Confraternity of Our Lady of Fatima under the guidance of Bishop Athanasius Schneider who, on this issue of conscience, has come down against any use of the available abortion-derived vaccines because it would be sinful to cooperate, even indirectly, in the crime of abortion. New World Order ... "they" use that phrase persistently. It does not make sense fort an American President (with US being the superpower) to use those words casually, especially given the long history of the phrase. The support of Al Qaeda or Muslim Brotherhood goes back to the Brits, then as USA became dominant (after WW2?), we used that strategy. Wasn't Saddam "our guy" till he was not our guy? Or the team that always seemed to take over certain "sensitive" coverups (investigating -- Hillary, or 9/11, or the housing "crisis", #DurhamWillCome). BuildBackBetter is the new term, repeated by most of the Western globalists. If they label patriots as domestic terrorists, they are certainly capable of a 9/11 style false flag, or even of killing even more via stopping treatments (HCQ, Ivermectin) in the midst of a plandemic. ... At least as telling - and in the same vein - are the non-defect (though still unanticipated) problems with LED traffic signals. The LED arrays are radically cheaper to operate and burn out over time rather than all at once. You can schedule in periodic light replacement instead of responding to failures. They're great. The problem is that they're cold. LEDs don't run hot (one of the reasons they're so much cheaper to run). In cold areas with snow, this means the snow can build up and block the signal. It used to melt because the light bulbs were hot. It creates a serious visibility (and therefore safety) issue during snow storms. If we require them to be "true believers" in every sense, and cull out those who do not fit the perfect profile, we are limiting ourselves and our numbers. Dave Rubin is an exile from the Left, and I've watched his development into a remarkably strong voice against the Left. He admits that his conversation several years ago with Larry Elder helped to strengthen him. Posted by: Ordinary American at September 13, 2021 08:01 AM (1YW3P) 303

Like it or not, hard-left agitating is the default position in communicating with the standard man on the street. Posted by: Joe Mannix (Not a cop!) at September 13, 2021 08:03 AM (3p5uk) Since I'm more versed in the digital age, I compare it to moving computer operating systems, or even more simply, moving social media platforms. The main giants continue to consolidate their power and move even further left. There are alternatives, but nobody really talks about them, they're expensive in time and man-power to switch everything over, and you don't even know if you're switching into a honeypot or risk getting doxxed, as was the story with Gab and Parler. To even begin the process of winning hearts and minds, the right needs a strong power base to operate out of. Otherwise, you get exactly what happened in the last decade, with Obamacare (oh, the D's will feel a bloodbath in the midterms!) still not repealed, and Nancy is now pushing a full cradle-to-grave massive federal takeover. The trouble with that article was it's overly rosy view of our education in the 60s. In fact, the rot was already under way. E.g., look-say reading, and the "new math", both of which were based on the same assumption as Common Core; the belief that the way advanced users do things is how beginners should be taught. Doesn't work; never did. After all, it's the education system that produced the Boomers.

When we regain control of power...
Posted by: Marcus T at September 13, 2021 07:10 AM 100% of Democrats are Marxists. 75% of Republicans are either Marxists, Marxist-enablers or cowards. So this "we" you talk about -- which I assume means actual America-loving conservatives in the mold of Trump and DeSantis, not merely Republicans -- is never happening in our lifetime. We thought "we" had "power" when Trump won the Presidential election. We learned that it did not matter, since the Marxists control every institution in this country from government to schools to corporations to media to social media to tech companies to Hollywood to sports leagues to the military. Can anyone point to a time in the last 45 years where there has been an actual conservative majority in the majority of institutions in this country? Nope. And with the "let it burn" attitude of the right that led to total Marxist control of every institution in the nation - meaning no one is willing to fight to conserve anything - we won't see any conservative majority anywhere anytime soon. We need to propose solutions and not just complain about the corruption. Political control over the budget and legislation will come from expanding the conservative coalition by focusing MAGA on the underclass, with every voter won a plus for us and a loss for them. The black church shares our Christian values which are the basis of our self evident truths, and will be a willing ally in addressing the root cause of societal dysfunction, the destruction of the family.
The win/win is defunding the anti-American left and reprogramming government subsidies to support the family. Vouchers instead of DOE, community college/trade/STEM subsidies instead of 4-yr, government jobs as 2-4 year stints instead of lifetime sinecure, DoD focused on training in the Guard/Reserves, etc. will give the underclass a path to participate in the American dream. This is how you beat the left. Posted by: Larry Dressler at September 14, 2021 01:31 AM (W0MsY) Processing 0.05, elapsed 0.0601 seconds. |
