"You said the buck stops with you. Do you bear any responsibility for the way that things have unfolded in the last two weeks?" Doocy asked. "I bear responsibility for fundamentally all that's happened of late," Biden began, but then pivoted to point the finger at Trump. "Here's the deal. You know, I wish you one day say these things, you know as well as I do, that the former president made the a deal with the Taliban to get all American forces out of Afghanistan by May 1. In return the commitment was made, and that was a year before. In return he was given a commitment that the Taliban would continue to attack others but would not attack any American forces. Remember that? I'm being serious. I'm asking you a question. No, no, no, wait a minute. Is that accurate?" Biden kept talking over Doocy, who replied, "Donald Trump is not the president anymore." The [so-called quote-unquote "president"] put his head down as Doocy continued.Biden also blamed the generals for this 1,000-megaton clusterfuck, which I guess was a reaction to them telling the press as Afghanistan exploded and Biden was nowhere to be found for several days "we were only following orders!" But considering what kind of individual inhabits the JCS and Pentagon these days, they can all go piss up the rope that, if there was a G-d in Heaven, they'd be swinging from for high treason. They're indignation is all the more funny, as in sickening, considering this golden oldie from not quite one year ago (hat tip to Moron Robbie): NBC NEWS, Sept. 24, 2020, 5:30 AM EDT -- By Courtney Kube and Dan De Luce: WASHINGTON -- More than 200 retired generals and admirals endorsed Joe Biden for president in a letter published Thursday, saying he had the character and judgment to serve as commander-in-chief instead of President Donald Trump, who has failed "to meet challenges large or small." Some of the officers who signed the letter supporting Biden had retired only in the past few years, including Air Force Gen. Paul Selva, who served as vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under Trump before he retired in August 2019; Vice Adm. Gardner Howe, a Navy SEAL leader who also retired last year; and retired Adm. Paul Zukunft, who oversaw the Coast Guard until 2018." We are Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. We love our country. Unfortunately, we also fear for it," they wrote. The retired officers and officials said the country needs a principled, honest leader who shows empathy for fellow citizens, values alliances, makes informed decisions and takes personal responsibility. "While some of us may have different opinions on particular policy matters, we trust Joe Biden's positions are rooted in sound judgment, thorough understanding, and fundamental values,"they wrote. "The current President has demonstrated he is not equal to the enormous responsibilities of his office; he cannot rise to meet challenges large or small. Thanks to his disdainful attitude and his failures, our allies no longer trust or respect us, and our enemies no longer fear us," the letter says. "The current President has demonstrated he is not equal to the enormous responsibilities of his office; he cannot rise to meet challenges large or small. Thanks to his disdainful attitude and his failures, our allies no longer trust or respect us, and our enemies no longer fear us," the letter says. "Climate change continues unabated, as does North Korea's nuclear program. The president has ceded influence to a Russian adversary who puts bounties on the heads of American military personnel, and his trade war against China has only harmed America's farmers and manufacturers," it says."The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers." -- William Shakespeare, King Henry VI, Part 2. Sorry, lawyers. You just lost your top spot. Go read the Highlights or Boys Life and we'll call you when we're done. Have a good weekend and pray. Two things about the Tolly-Bon having Blackhawks:
1) Blackhawk helos are precision pieces of equipment that require regular servicing and maintenance to stay at optimal readiness. I give them a week before most of the helos are Non-Mission Capable. They may still be flight worthy, but they won't be much more than that. 2) The Russians and Chinese now own all of the technology the Blackhawks (and all of the other pieces of equipment left behind) contain. Including COMSEC (Communications Security) if they didn't already have it. Posted by: GGE of the Moron Horde, NC Chapter at August 27, 2021 06:56 AM (CcOog) 27

++++ There are four Joes that I have identified: 1. Slow Joe: slurring speech to some degree, slow cadence, big black eyes. We saw "Slow Joe" yesterday. 2. Sloppy Joe: stuttering speech, difficulty keeping on point, rapid and sloppy speech, word/sound transposition. We saw "Sloppy Joe" on Wednesday. 3. High-performance Joe: Good posture, clear cadence, sounds almost natural. This is Joe at the peak of his game. We saw "HP Joe" last Monday. 4. Real Joe: Short-tempered, waspish, aggressive, rude, stumbling. I suspect that Real Joe lurks just beneath the surface of Sloppy Joe most of the time. We saw flashes of "Real Joe" yesterday, and frequently during the campaign. Modifier. "Wobbly Joe" - where he bobs around and has trouble with balance. You can see "Wobbly Joe" in combination with any of the above, but he doesn't always make an appearance. Yesterday, we saw Slow Joe mixed with Real Joe. He turned into Real Joe with Doocy. I just re-read the 25th amendment. Fun reading. If the Veep and a majority of the cabinet agree, the Veep takes over. If Joe writes a letter saying that he is back, he is back. Then, the Veep and the cabinet have 4 days to say "uh no. He's not back" at which point the congress has to convene and do something with 21 days. Requires 2/3rds of the House and the Senate to say "Go away. You been here too long." Posted by: JAS, AoSHQ addict at August 27, 2021 07:10 AM (xopIz) 83

Regarding the Blackhawk helicopters in the Taliban's hands; I think it's possible that many were crippled on the ground by crews sabotaging the flight systems. They can probably be repaired by competent techs, so we'll see.
As for the tech getting to China... they have already "cloned" the Blackhawk family of airframes as the Harbin Z-20. It's nearly identical. Both Army (PLA) and Navy (PLAN) versions have been built. Posted by: Martini Farmer at August 27, 2021 07:15 AM (BFigT) 109

Throughout Obama's first two administrations, people were confused because they couldn't understand why a president would do the things he was doing. If you look at his actions through the eyes of someone who loves this country, yes, you would be confused. But if you looked at his actions through the eyes of someone who wanted to destroy this country, everything Obama did made perfectly good sense.
He did an interview (2019?) in which he said he would be happy to be the puppetmaster of whoever was in the Oval Office. And today we have Biden. The plan was to "fundamentally change" America. Posted by: itsacookbook at August 27, 2021 07:19 AM (yPxXc) 134

I watched a 70s movie last night, "Twilight's Last Gleaming," a political drama. I found it simultaneously dated and prescient. It captured a certain liberal idealized "Meet John Doe" vision of the people and importance of political truth-telling on one hand, and the cynical reality of corrupt power and its fear of truth and willingness to go to any extreme to conceal it.
I can understand why Burt Lancaster, a notable Hollywood liberal in the sunset of his career and picky about his roles, would be involved. The noble obligation of liberals to risk it all to tell the truth on behalf of their vision of American greatness (embodied in "we the people") against the crustily corrupt right-wing status quo was classic Hollywood material. What struck me was not how completely the dynamic has inverted since the 70s. We all know this. What really struck me was how the liberal respect and love for the people and the noble obligations thereto has mutated into a seething contempt. No such scenes of liberals arguing to uphold the Constitution and to honor spiritual bonds with the people are even remotely imaginable. However the cynical end was easy to imagine. They're concerned for global stability. "They're concerned for global stability" -- That's rich! More like they are concerned that their control over Biden, and managing their conception of "global stability" through this broke-brained bozo is threatened. since they are vaxxed and still carry the virus, does that mean all that inoculum they spread will be of the resistant (to the vaccine) type? ... idk, but they say mass vaccination (basically) is guaranteed to yield resistant virus. And they say we cannot reach herd immunity with the leaky vaccines, but (for now) the outcomes are less severe for the vaxxed. The new variants are becoming less deadly anyway ... so far. I read the article because I am fascinated by linguistics. 80% of the way through the article, which spent an inordinate amount of time on what these consonants are, it says the study over x number of countries didn't produce statistically significant results. The women are the exception, and they all look very old in a way that seems disconnected from their age, and always skinny as a stick. Starving-somali skinny, except they're sun burned white women. Biden blames Trump!
Who would've ever thought he'd do that? Now, an economic malaise or current hot war (like Nixon inheriting VietNam from Johnson) make take some time to repair or improve, but policy can be changed on day one and he knows it. He's just depending on the short memories of the stupid American electorate and always democrat fellating media to not put two and two together. Like, XL pipeline, the Paris accords, and many other examples of executive power exercised in the first few days of his administration. Defunding the Wall, starting a migratory surge by announcing the end of Trump era policies re the border... it goes on and on. There was no reason for what happened in Shitcanistan other than Joe changed policies unilaterally and arbitrarily. This shit show is on him, his handlers, the military, his intelligence services. Our top men suck. When times get tough their shortcomings become obvious. Those fucksticks in the military making the grunts wear red high heels? They should be made to wear red clown noses. Greetings:
One of the peculiarities of what I have for an intellect is a tendency to notice things in the background or along the periphery. Since the Kabul massacre, I've noticed on several news channels, foreign and domestic, the use of "service members" in referring to our military. Having lived through the historical period in which we were retrained to refer to them, not as soldiers or sailors, but as "men and women", the emergence of the change caught my attention. And so, I am now wondering if this is the new doctrine that our once beloved generals want to inflict on us because of some yet to be revealed progressive need. Was "men and women" no longer inclusive enough ??? Was it because no women who do military were killed in the attack ??? I'm guessing that my wondering will continue for a good while if our mainstream media has anything to do with it. Posted by: 11B40 at August 27, 2021 08:47 AM (uuklp) 448

Every single communist death democrat in Congress and the White House has got to be removed if we are ever going to restore our Country to freedom and greatness.
Biden stole the White House and has to go immediately, no question about that but Harris will be far worse. An evil demented monster is Biden, however for all those calling for him to be impeached or resign, unfortunately the stolen House, the stolen Senate, and the stolen Presidency are controlled by the communist death democrats, so impeachment is off the table. Communism and totalitarian power is imposed over dead citizens and the communist death democrats have no conscience and will use any means to maintain power at any costs. They are the Taliban and ISIS of America. This label also applies to a lot of republicans in both houses. They will steal the elections again in 2022 and in 2024 if we have any elections. Regretfully it has become crystal clear that there will be no way out of this awful, frightening mess without the citizens of our country exercising their Second Amendment rights to take back our country.
