Kabul Collapse Cafe: Batastrophe Edition

This is so cute you'll cringe.

Some wiseacre demanded a cute spider video so here you go.

A dog so broken and unloved just tries to hide by staring at the wall all day, but eventually learns to trust her new owner.

A cute working dog -- a "medical services" dog, not sure exactly what that is -- never learned how to play, with either dogs or humans. But when he sees a kitten, his instincts to play kick in.

"This is the kind of gay shit that Ace likes posting for the cafe thread," Robert 14 says. Correct -- so much so I posted it before. But it's a good one, so I'll post it again.

Sick street dog with hardly any fur is made healthy with medicine and TLC.

Young pit bull is determined that a miniature donkey will play with him.

Taking a brown bear with you in a fishing boat.

Inman: Soyboy vs. Car, again.

Classic Andy Tifa vs. Car.

Drunk couple vs. staircase.

Pervert homeless soyboy vs. random customer who wants his WaWa sandwich.

Classic: setting an undersized trout free to live his life.

Antifa-looking bitchbois wind up doing the Taser Dance.

From Gwenn: chicken playing Pucini. (I think -- I think it's the "Oh dear daddy" one.)

This baby goat says woo-hoo, it's Friday!

So does this kangaroo:

Statler the bat -- 34 years young -- recently died, unfortunately.

But he did get to celebrate his 34th birthday!

The Batastrophe album by Specimen.

15 Raw, visceral, primal Guided By Voices, right at the moment Robert Pollard's rag-tag gang of Ohio rawk-loving everyman ragamuffins were unwittingly becoming the face of the 90s Lo-Fi Movement (hell, they were just recording at home because they had no money and no contract, it wasn't to make an artistic statement!) and on their way to becoming America's biggest cult band of that decade.

Fuzzed out, buzzed up skronkin' punk and roll with the sweat flyin'. Man, those were the days!

When I was a kid, me and the kid next door found 4 baby chicks in a shoebox (around Easter.)

He took 2 and i took 2, I gave one to my sister. Hers died, so I gave her mine. Turned out it was a rooster. Chased me around the yard when I went to get my bike,

Every nite, it would fly over the fence and land on my dad's arm (who was sitting on the front stoop)
My dad would pet it until it went to sleep, then my dad would put it in the empty dog pen out back.

One time, my uncle was visiting and the rooster walked up behind him and pecked his leg. My uncle turned around and said "You son of a b**ch"! and kicked the rooster in the ass as he was walking away, the rooster became airborne but just spread his wings and coasted until he landed.

Indeed, the very same. The sequence was revealed on a Thread when Weasel was on the cusp of annoying Ben Had.

1. Piss-off Ben Had, resulting in getting roped into an arm-wrestling match. (With Ben Had, 'roped' is not necessarily metaphorical.)
2. Arm-wrestling takes place on The Kitchen Table.

This makes the subsequent chopping efficient, as the victim is already in place.

Fortunately, the situation was resolved peaceably after I begged Weasel, with tears in my eyes, not to piss-off Ben Had.

It's the stuff you get at a good price, knick knacks, that people get goofy about anyway. Something worth $15, you bid on it and get it for $5, they think it's worth $50, they'll tell you their Dad (again) died and they are really sorry, but they can't deal with dropping it into an envelope right now.

296 So, I'm confused.

I have to get a COVID booster vaccine. And maybe in six months, another booster vaccine.

Does this apply for my kids school vaccines as well? Do they need MMR vaccines every six months? What about the polio vaccine? Does that need an update? Do the schools automatically give kids their vaccines every few months, or do they go back to their pediatrician for this?

I'm confused about this new world of vaccines. I didn't think that vaccines had to have regular boosters, is that a thing now and forever? How many COVID boosters will the kids and I have to get? This just seems weird.

Can someone explain this to me? Sorry to be so uninformed.

LIGHT BULB!!!

I think I get it now! This is all a pre-planned clusterbleep (and let's face it, with this crowd of creeps, what hasn't been) --- This is how they get rid of Sleepy Joe! Then they usher in the currently deeply unpopular Cackling Kamel-hump, clean it up as best they can and try to portray her as a brave, strong woman who saved the day!!! Anyone want to bet me???
