A commenter asked yesterday why Nancy Pelosi wasn't also adding Liz Cheney's fellow straight-ticket-Democrat-pretending-to-be-a-Republican Adam Kinzinger to the panel.

I almost answered, but then stopped, when I realized I had no idea why she wasn't adding him, and I would just be babbling like Biden if I presumed to answer.

I'm so glad I stopped myself "answering" a question I had nothing to say about. Generally, this is considered a detriment in a blogger (who is just a bullshitter with an IP address), but I'm glad I saved myself some time and readers some time by just futting the shuck up.

Anyway, new news: he may well be added-- it's under consideration.

just now that the idea of adding Kinzinger "has been discussed."

"Positivity" is a total bullshit number that has no meaning at all in the current context. IF we were doing widespread testing of the general population, with true random sampling, then it could have some meaning. BUT when those being tested are those who volunteer to be tested because they think they need it, then of COURSE the "rate" is going up - it's just a measurement of how many people who think they're sick really are sick, nothing more. Since those being tested are all self selecting, it has no statistical relevance to any previous numbers.

or to put it simply, it's a total bullshit number.

We have needed for a long time a way to nail these f'ers down and run them through the ringer for responses, that if they're conservative, should come naturally without stammering. When certain dummies say "conservatism has failed", if they framed it like I just did, they'd kinda be right but they don't.
We need a better way of vetting and something in place to remove them immediately if they do not do our will.

I really think we've gotten a bit of herd immunity. Herman Caine is listed as a Covid death, but I thought he croaked after getting the first jab, so that's suspect.
