The Morning Report - 7/15/21

chebama.jpg

Good morning kids. Thursday and the protests and unrest in Cuba remain at the top of the heap. Whether or not these flames will coalesce into a firestorm of an actual uprising that potentially topples a criminal, oppressive regime remains to be seen. Tragically ironic is the fact that we the people in a land that was once founded on We The People face the exact same existential threat to our lives and liberty that snuffed out a free Cuba 62 years ago. Along with the geographic proximity of a mere 90 miles of blue Caribbean (which has run red with the blood of desperate people trying to escape that tropical gulag) separating us, Cuba and America share a close, intertwined history.

With the seemingly final overthrow of America that culminated with the false flag "riot" on January 6th, 2021 by our institutional leftists as Cubans struggle to break away from its kissing cousins in Havana, we are perhaps converging into a singularity of events that will have meaning and repercussions here there, and elsewhere around the world.

They can be seen and heard on YouTube and social media, chanting "Liberty," "Down with the dictatorship" and "Down with communism." And they can also be heard shouting a challenge to their rulers: "We are not afraid." That chant is a taunt, a war cry, a rebel yell. And it is coming mostly from young Cubans, the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the so-called revolution.

You have to live in a place like Cuba -- where an inordinate percentage of the country's budget is dedicated to keeping Big Brother's eye fixed on you -- to appreciate the magnitude of the fearlessness and despair needed to loosen one's tongue out on the street.

The protests are among the most dramatic proof ever offered of the failure of a tropical dictatorship that has driven 20 percent of its people into exile. Innumerable promises for a brighter future have been made during this time by the military junta that has ruled Cuba since the days when cars had tailfins and the top songs in the US charts were Elvis Presley's "Jailhouse Rock" and Domenico Modugno's "Volare."

Well, surprise, surprise, the future is here, and the youngsters can clearly see that all of those promises have turned out to be lies. Now, those who were supposed to reap the benefits of decades of sacrifice, self-denial and unquestioning obedience demanded by Big Brother are out on the streets, shouting at their aging masters -- and the world -- that they are tired of living a lie.

But why now? A perfect storm of calamities caused this sudden eruption of fearless dissent. Lately, life in Cuba has become more unbearable than ever for just about every Cuban, except those who rule the place. The crisis is due to a long string of blunders and catastrophes.

Emphasis mine above and for good reason. The odds of the junta - theirs not ours - being overthrown given the level of control are slim. While people have to be utterly desperate to lash out and take to the streets, the forces arrayed against them are massive. Look at Venezuela as an example; in slightly more than decade what was the jewel of Latin America devolved into a coprolite of Communist squalor. But the regime had the people by the neck and despite the muddled mess of its politics, Maduro and his goons still hold the whip hand. Yet, while Venezuelans fled across the borders to Colombia and elsewhere, Cuba is the Kolyma of Alcatrazes. They have nowhere to go and so that creates perhaps a much more volatile situation. Or it would if the United States of America still retained Donald Trump.

The problem is, the last thing the junta in DC - in power illegally due to a rigged election and a feckless non-response from those allegedly on our side who might have stopped it - wants to do is help liberate the Communists. Hell, Obama creamed his mom-jeans when he had the chance to stand shoulder to shoulder with Castro's butchers in front of that giant Che Guevara mural in Havana to salute "la revolucion." For those who have the same number of functioning brain cells as Biden and are wholly unaware, the Democrats have brought that cancer here and it is metastasizing. Look no further than your local classroom, Main Street, US military and even your own dinner table (G-d forbid) as proof.

Psaki-Psircling back, what's happening in Cuba could not come at a worse time for our overlords. Hence the abject - and I might add blessed - silence from the likes of Titty Caca Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sandersnista and all the others in the (death) "Squad" over what's happening. Naturally the line out of DC is that what's going on in Cuba is the fault of the Chinese COVID-19! Of course! How could it possibly be that it's the fault of that wonderful, tropical socialist paradise, the one which Michael "Tubby Riefenstahl" Moore claims has the best healthcare system on the planet which is totally free?! No one's buying that shit despite the junta's (again, our's not their's) attempts to shield socialism from the merest hint of aspersion. Meh, tell it to their armed militant terror wing at Burn-Loot-Murder Inc. who naturally can't keep their mouths shut.

"That statement comes after pro-democracy demonstrators waved American flags and protested for freedom over the weekend, which led the communist government to cut off internet access and crackdown on those yearning to be free.

"Black Lives Matter condemns the U.S. federal government's inhumane treatment of Cubans, and urges it to immediately lift the economic embargo," the group claimed. "This cruel and inhumane policy, instituted with the explicit intention of destabilizing the country and undermining Cubans' right to choose their own government, is at the heart of Cuba's current crisis. Since 1962, the United States has forced pain and suffering on the people of Cuba by cutting off food, medicine and supplies, costing the tiny island nation an estimated $130 billion."

"Without that money, it is harder for Cuba to acquire medical equipment needed to develop its own [Chinese] COVID-19 vaccines and equipment for food production. This comes in spite of the country's strong medical care and history of lending doctors and nurses to disasters around the world. . . "

". . . Cuba has historically demonstrated solidarity with oppressed peoples of African descent, from protecting black revolutionaries like Assata Shakur," the group said of one of the FBI's most wanted terrorists, "through granting her asylum, to supporting black liberation struggles in Angola, Mozambique, Guinea Bissau and South Africa. Now, we look to [so-called quote-unquote "president"] Biden to end the embargo, something Barack Obama called for in 2016. This embargo is a blatant human rights violation and it must come to an end."

I'll spare you the tedious, irksome, insipid boilerplate bullshit these filthy vermin spewed out. I noted yesterday in rather large letters for their blodshot, purple-drank, malt-liquored, Maui-wowied eyes to take in the words of their hero Che Guevara and his opinion of those with an abundance of melanin, which they believe makes them ubermenschen but that he felt otherwise. That said, this garbage is being forced down the throats and injected into the veins of our children. On top of that, apparently it will be accompanied by a chaser of Pfizer vaccines for those unwilling to voluntarily take it for the good of the volksgemeinschaft. More like a Folks get mind-fucked.

The cognitive dissonance of kids burning American flags here to establish a communist paradise in the former US while the citizens of their role model wave American flags desperately trying to get rid of communism has got to be off the charts. Can't see that, now can we. Which is why Alexander Mayorkas has sealed our borders from Cuban refugees. G-d forbid they get here and vote against Democrats and Socialists.

Meanwhile, as the desperate people of Cuba get beaten, silenced and chucked into jail, the same fate has befallen dozens of G-d-fearing, decent Americans for doing the same thing in DC last January 6th.

Cuba libre! America libre!

As always, Thank you J.J.

Devotion for the day:
'Thus, brethren, God has loved you from eternity, and through pure love, he has selected you from among so many men whom he could have created in place of you; but he has left them in their nothingness, and has brought you into existence, and placed you in the world. For the love of you, he has made so many other beautiful creatures, that they might serve you, and that they might remind you of the love which he has borne to you, and of the gratitude which you owe to him.'

Maybe that was the plan. This was a test for the Great Reset that puts about 100 million under the cloud of lockdown, green nude eel, power blackout, and shortages. If the Deep State knows for sure that despair and desperation kills off 10% of the population, they can plan better for the number of bed needed in the camps.

This is true, but not in the manner you mean. This is the culmination of decades of external oppression by the West. The calamities and blunders have not belonged to Cuba, but entirely belong to us. The development of state socialism into stateless communism can be stymied by regressive external factors when those factors are arrayed against the honorable who seek to pursue to enlightened path toward a system of plenty that protects all for all.

It is the United States - our embargoes, our willing absorption of their population, our interdictions, our financial crimes, our international machinations - that has caused problems in Cuba. Left to its own devices, Cuba would likely have trounced the oppressive and supremacist forces of the imperialist West. If not for the beacon of Miami so nearby, Cuba would have built its own Miami. The problems in Cuba are our doing, not socialism's.

Oh, that's easy. Socialism is superior to capitalism, but the capitalist states have a longer history of theft and oppression and thus have built a base for operations that can self-perpetuate so long as there are more socialist victims for it to feed into its maw. Capitalism depends on exploitation, and this scales up to national or global economics, where the capitalist states exploit the socialist states and keep them down for the benefit of perpetuating the capitalist states' unearned and immoral position. It is only with the destruction of capitalism that socialism can flourish - just like the only way for a slave to advance is to cast of the shackles of the unfair, abusive, violent, grasping master.

Inflation is what happens when the currency devalues. If the currency is becoming less valuable, any quantity of it that you hold becomes less valuable at the same rate, in terms of what it can do. Money isn't all that valuable on its own, it has value because because it can buy things you want or need.

If the currency is in inflation, the amount of the things you need and want that any given dollar can buy is reduced. So the more dollars you hold to the exclusion of other things, the more your losses. Your $1,000 in cash will buy less and less with each passing day as its value erodes.

The definition of inflation is that cash loses its value (purchasing power). The goal is to have investments which don't decrease in real value and fixed-rate debt, since the real cost of repaying debt decreases as money is worth less.

Inflation hurts savers and rewards debtors

I don't know, LiB. I have a similar problem. I have spent many years living extremely modestly to build some savings. I have that now, and its being eroded away by inflation. But *everything* is inflated. The stock market is ludicrously high. The bond market is broken and repressed by the Fed and earns nothing unless you hang your ass out over the risk cliff. I have no idea, and it's extremely distressing.

I am going to spend some coin on stuff I want - like a generator, some artworks, etc. - but I have no idea where a safe haven is. Everything is out of whack.

Folks, read that story about D.C. vaccinating children against parental consent.

This is a law mind you, that directs doctors to *falsify vaccination records* and for insurance companies not to send an EOB to the parents.

That is a law, that allows children as young as 11 to be vaccinated, directly against parental wishes, and to direct this fact be covered up from the parents.

So, children under the age of 18 aren't subject to laws, must be proven 'able' to be tried as an adult when a heinous crime is committed, and aren't protected by The Constitution, but THIS law can give them the consent ability for a largely untested vaccination without notifying their parents, EVER?

DC is the rottenest of rotten boroughs in the country. The county and census "metropolitan statistical area" maps from 2016 are extremely enlightening. DC itself went like 96% for Clinton. As you radiate out from DC proper, the percentages fall off precipitously and within a couple of counties, some of them start going for Trump.

The seat of power is so hyper-partisan that it is actually astounding. The closer you get to Capitol Hill, the rottener and more consistent everything becomes.

156 Saddest thing to me is the complete errosion of the FBI. DOJ is always corrupt and political, but the FBI was always respected in my family over the years. Now they are just a political hack outfit run by Ivy league Socialist and Rino's going after their enemies

I can't remember a time when the FBI wasn't completely corrupt and inept. They can't even perform simple security clearances beyond anything other than theater.

The CIA can't do its job, the NSA is nothing more than a great honey pot for foreign infiltration even the Democratic Party Military can't defeat goat herders when they are not surrendering to Chinese and Iranian hostiles.

This is why they outsource to the private sector. The FBI could be replaced with the Pinkerton's of old with one tenth the staff. The Democrat Party Military should outsource to whatever Blackwater/Xe/Acadami calls itself today.

All of these agencies are charter partners with Google, Facebook and Twitter since government can't do anything except waste money, spread misery, corruption, immorality and break things.

Capitalism can thrive in a free country, but also works in China (Cuba?) ... except there it works for the Gangsters ... (which is also government). Much of our global power is now economic, but WallStreet has taken control. China bought a lot of our government and has infiltrated society as well, certainly the MSM and Hollywood.

But imo the most seditious elements are globalist oligarchs running money (hedge funds, BigBank, oligarchs like Soros, Foundations, assorted global criminal cartels). Back when Kav was going through his confirmation to get on SCOTUS and he was being accused of all sorts of outrageous things by the filthy progs, I did some of that exhaustive Intarwebz research into the presumption of innocence. Ran across more than a few references to it being a human right, but not one that's been codified into law everywhere, which struck me as rather strange. Our Constitution doesn't refer to it directly either, but the Fourth Amendment outlines how accusations of illegality are to be handled.

Naturally, the filthy progs are trying to twist things around to make everyone think that what they want is normal when what they want is power. Since civics is no longer taught in skools, their efforts are now a lot easier with a dumbed-down electorate.

237 "Presumption of innocence" is only for our justice system. I mean, I am presuming a lot of the junta to be guilty as hell, based on a ton of "evidence". I can vote based on that evidence, but I am not the justice system that can arrest and incarcerate people.

The "due process" is to protect us from villains like Wray and the DoJ, that fabricate evidence and hold people without charges. And it appears Wray (and others) are actually running massive entrapment schemes (was it ten FBI informants to run the Michigan vigilante scheme?) ... while also running internal terrorist machines (BLM/Antifa).

Yes, for a brief time. The scientific achievement is of the past. It is earned, banked capital. Like real capital, you have a choice as to what to do with it: consume it or invest it.

Investing it might let you make even more capital. Consuming it will simply consume it. The Woke are consuming it, and the honorable are producing less and less. It's running pretty severe deficits.

Until it runs out, though, yes: they can do both. There's an end date on that behavior, though. You cannot have your cake and eat it, too. If it looks like that's what's going on, then what is actually happening is they're eating the cake they made earlier. When they run out of cake, the illusion collapses. That's called "bankruptcy."

The right's ridiculous freakout over Biden's door-to-door comments was one facet of a larger trend: people are losing their damn minds.

The comments were just Joe, but the fact that it's actually happening - and a high school dropout is coming onto property armed with medical injections after non-compliance is confirmed and notes about property and individuals is recorded - is a tad more disconcerting.

294 Morning, y'all. Somehow I wound up at Daily Mail, where I find out that there are 3 or 4 new "novels" coming out with all kinds of compromat on Donald Trump. Let's see if I can summarize --

Trump is a Russian stooge. Trump is insane. The military was preparing to stop the insane Russian stooge Trump.

And so on and so forth. Strange, isn't it, that these "novels" are all hitting the market NOW.

I wonder if all of them have a foreword by a certain baked Potato?

335 Re vaccination:
Why is this so darn difficult for people to understand?
We have a year and change seeing what Covid actually is, as compared to the fear of the unknown in the beginning. It's not going to kill most people. Some people are at higher risk.
Good thing there are vaccines for those that want them.

But no, our bifurcated society needs absolute compliance with whatever the left wants , so leftists name-call and wish death or punishment on anyone not assimilated into their cult, while others become virulent anti-vaxxers.
This shit makes no sense at a logical level.
I know a lot of vaxxed people. I know a lot of unvaxxed people. How do I know the difference if I don't ask?
Like Vegans and Crossfitters, the vaxxed will tell you.
Like Baptist drinkers, the unvaxxed stay silent.
