Abandoned Gothic church in Portugal, found at @trad_revival

Rescuing a stray giant stray Great Pyrenees. The poor dog was getting attacked by other stray dogs.

Scuba diver bravely helps a 33-foot-long sperm whale escape the rope that is tied around his jaw and anchored to the sea floor.

The diver actually "knew" the whale:

"I have known this whale since he was born in 2011. The animal was facing us and he also recognized me because I have been studying the pod and we are regularly in water with them. I could see that his eye was wide open in fear, like that of a frightened horse. I went over to him and stroked him to calm him down.

Frightened abandoned pittie is rescued.

This goat has the right policy regarding selfie-takers and "influencers." He does not eff about.

Instant vigilante justice for a cheating bike-racer.

Water sports fail.

Preacher Cat heals the lame.

I've linked this unarmed homeowner taking on three (3!) home invaders, but it's just so satisfying.

Some guys act like they're ready for violence, other guys really are ready.

New episode of The Fresh Prez of DC.

60 It's been an epoch since I've been to Russia. Back in the Glorious Era of Soviet Power, when I was privileged to spend time there, there were "working churches" and non-working. Meaning, the first category were technically still churches, their clergy etc fully compromised by or literally part of the KGB, and the second category were ..... well, whatever they were using them for.

I imagine some of those have been converted to other uses now, I wonder what. Some might have been re-consecrated as churches.

If you look his leg is next to a spoke of the wheel so he can turn left but how about when he turns right? there's nothing for his leg to work on. You can see the line around his lower leg it's very thin and hard to see with his thick fur.

110 Well as far as the dog steering the little car? It looks like his paw has a thin wire or rope tying his front leg to the wheel. That leads me to believe that the steering is hooked up to an RC setup and motor so that it can be guided remotely.

If you look his leg is next to a spoke of the wheel so he can turn left but how about when he turns right? there's nothing for his leg to work on. You can see the line around his lower leg it's very thin and hard to see with his thick fur.

They are, to help revenue waiting for DIV. DIII isn't cutting it for them anymore or WoW probably.

DII remastered looks pretty good though. The whole game is the same really. They just fancied up the gui and then added a nice modern 3d engine that runs in parallel with the old game. Both graphic engines are running at the same time off of the same in-game heuristics. Pretty smart way of doing it.

I was a precinct worker in rural Virginia recently, and trusted the precinct chief and my fellow precinct workers as they all seemed to be good people. Absolutely NOTHING was out of order that I observed during the entire sixteen out at the precinct location.

Then, at the end of that day, the precinct captain loaded up the "recorded votes" and took them off to a central county location. To this day, I have no idea what criminals had access to anything after the "recorded" votes left the precinct.

Personally, I think Dominion fixed all the voter errors in judgement so we got the right outcome!

Also Kentucky where the Dem party managed to get less votes than half of their registered voters. I keep looking at a number -113% trying to figure out if I have a math error. A LOT of democrats voted for Trump in KY. But I can still find a suspicious result, even there.

My concerns, so far as they are, is that the solutions he puts forward will, IMO, never be implemented, disregarded if they are and would, in any event, be steamrollered by an emboldended Democrat regime knowing it can steal any election at any level with no resistance from voters, courts or the stooges calling themselves the GOP.

But, as I always take pains to point out, I am a chronic depressive. I always see the worst in everything.

I'd played bass with them and when the drummer quit, they put me on drums without ever hearing me play. Ha! I completely agreed with you and was scared to death of pitbulls...But them my son got one. For about 6-8 months I was really scared to be around him too. Huge head, big jaw, etc, and a rescue, to boot, so who knows what demons live in that brain. But somehow, after I took care of him for a weekend and he just snuggled up on my lap like he weighed 10 lbs. instead of 80, I really fell for him. Now I find reasons to go visit him and he is as sweet and loving as can be. (I can't walk him, though, because he's too strong and if he decides he wants to take off, he'll take off with me)

Posted by: Braenyard, (ElqsY) looking forward to 2022 at July 08, 2021 07:44 PM (ElqsY)

Those Xeroxed ballots were meant for one purpose: adjucation.

That's what the Domimion software is for.

The Steal was essentially the digital version of hanging chads.

Dem operatives fed the scanners junk (fake ballots, copues, real ballots with Sharpie marks, etc). The software sent those ballots to adjucation for "examination" by other operatives.

This is why we saw such a huge jump in numbers for Creepy over Trump in the middle of the night. The adjucation scam was in full effect. Trump's victory numbers were so big, the crooks had no choice but to send almost every ballot (real or not) to adjucation at 11pm (the time they kicked observers out).

never knew what song was next. Kept me on my toes and improved my
skills tremendously, but got busted not knowing a few tunes for the
first few months. I'd played bass with them and when the drummer quit,
they put me on drums without ever hearing me play. And we played
everything from Zep to Cheap Trick to Johnny Cash, sometimes all in the
same set.

I made it about 2 1/3 of the way through the trilogy. The first book was remarkable, like nothing else I've read. Someday I'll have to get through more. You could call them depressing, I guess, but I think I'd go with "atomspheric." If you get get your head into the idea of a monarchy spending all of its time carrying out rituals whose meaning has been lost to time...ok, it's kind of depressing. But interesting.

Gene Wolfe's New Sun books, though, are sort of similarly transcendent without being depressing. And seriously brilliant. What a creation.

I wanted to get my vote in to voice my opinion. And I wasnt going to let nothing stop me. So I waited it out. Rogers was the last person to cast a ballot at his voting center in Houston. He told CNN that he wasnt upset by the long wait but that he thought the process couldve been done better than that.

This is the really hard part. These laws have to be self-enforcing in some way—perhaps citizen-enforced. I don’t know how to do that, but without it there’s no stopping fraud that’s supported by those in power.

I understand it’s hard. But it’s also necessary. And even here in Texas people don’t even seem to understand the question when I ask, okay, we’ve got election reform, now how do we make them self-enforcing so that they don’t rely on the secretary of state or local election officials?
