The Morning Report - 6/22/21

CRTnazi.jpg

Good morning kids. Tuesday and 80 years ago today, Nazi Germany invaded the Soviet Union, initiating the bloodiest, most brutal war in history; "a war of annihilation" as a certain Viennese paper-hanger defined it, and the start of the Final Solution. And here we are, 80 years later with the collective memory of what happened fading away faster with each passing day as the youngest of those who witnessed it firsthand, now into their 90s, pass into history. More crucially, the intentional distortion and erasing of history now being unleashed by the philosophical progeny of both Hitler and Stalin are preventing future generations from understanding what happened, if they are even permitted to learn about it in the first place.

Given all of that, it seems a bit strange if not even frivolous to bring up the pickle that Rhode Island Senator Sheldon "Whorehouse" Whitehouse finds himself in. But it is related, and the underlying issue is as serious and deadly as cancer:

GoLocal Providence had first raised the issue with Whitehouse back in 2017, to which the senator expressed his concerns about the lack of diversity in the club, and the reporter asked Whitehouse if there are any minority members today.

"I think the people who are running the place are still working on that and I'm sorry it hasn't happened yet," Whitehouse responded.

"Do you have concerns in 2021. . . You had remarks on the floor following the deaths of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd, saying that you hope to root out systemic racism in the country. Your thoughts on an elite, all-white, wealthy club again in this day [and] age. Should these clubs continue to exist?" the reporter followed up.

"It's a long tradition in Rhode Island and there are many of them. I think we just need to work our way through the issues," Whitehouse replied.

Emphasis mine. Look, I'm no special pleader for the Confederacy and certainly not a defender of slavery; who is? But it seems to me Southerners honoring their heritage is also a long tradition. So is honoring Christopher Columbus, Abraham Lincoln, July 4th and Flag Day. Circling back to the Confederacy for one second, I seem to recall an incident in Charlottesville, VA about four years ago where a peaceful protest by locals wishing to preserve monuments to their history was hijacked by Democrat Antifa/BLM goon squads and the resulting death blamed on President Trump - and by extension all of us - whose words defending "good people on both sides" meaning both sides of the issue, was twisted into a smear of him supposedly defending the KKK, which he most certainly did not. But I digress. Meanwhile . . .

Both the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the Congressional Black Caucus were radio silent on Monday after news broke that Democrat Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) defended his membership to an elite, all-white beach club.

Breitbart News reached out to both the NAACP and the Congressional Black Caucus for comment regarding Whitehouse's extra-curricular activities. Neither organization responded.

Wait, I thought the term "Colored People" was racist, and yet N-double-A- "CP." And isn't the Congressional Black Caucus preventing a black Congressman from joining their little club? Oh, right. He's a Republican. Honestly, I don't really know what's worse, Whorehouse's typical Leftist hypocrisy or the House Negroids' silence after decades of blood-libeling America for Whorehouse's hypocrisy. I'm going to go with the latter.

The modus operandi of the Left is simple:
- stop at nothing to gain absolute power,
- create societal unrest and division at every level to achieve it,
- blame your political opponents for the unrest, misery and problems you yourself caused in the first place,
- cause even more unrest, misery and suffering in the name of solving society's ills, yet accrue even more power while making things worse
- lather-rinse-repeat.

If nothing else underscores the abject lie of "white supremacy" and "structural racism" it's the words and deeds of both Sheldon Whorehouse and the CBC/NAACP. If the latter are intellectually honest - and they are not, being both morally bankrupt and having the collective IQ of a mollusk with Down's Syndrome - they would call for the immediate resignation of Whorehouse if Whorehouse himself did not voluntarily step down and completely out of public life while donating 95% of his net worth to BLM.

Of course, that is a non-starter. Unfortunately, whites, Jews, Asians and now evidently Puerto Ricans (whom the braindead idiots murdered because they thought the Puerto Rican flag was a Confederate flag) are being beaten up and killed in broad daylight courtesy of a constant drumbeat of racist propaganda that is right up there with Mein Kampf. From the Discover the Networks rap sheet on Derrick Bell, the founder of "Critical Race Theory."

In 1994 Bell was quoted as having predicted that eventually America would witness the rise of charismatic new black leaders who, in the interests of retributive racial justice, would "urge that instead of [African Americans] killing each other, they should go out in gangs and kill a whole lot of white people."

In a New York Observer interview published on October 10, 1994, Bell denounced "all the Jewish neoconservative racists who are undermining blacks in every way they can." The very same interview began with Bell stating: "We should really appreciate the Louis Farrakhans and the Khalid Muhammads while we've got them." (Khalid Muhammad was a Farrakhan ally who referred to Jews as "bloodsuckers" whose "father was the devil.")

Bell endorsed a journal called Race Traitor, whose stated aim is "to abolish the white race, which means no more and no less than abolishing the privileges of the white skin." Moreover, the publication's guiding principle is: "Treason to whiteness is loyalty to humanity." In 1999 Bell signed on to a Race Traitor article that stated: "If the task of the nineteenth century was to overthrow slavery, and the task of the twentieth century was to end legal segregation, the key to solving this country's problems in the twenty-first century is to abolish the white race as a social category -- in other words, eradicate white supremacy entirely." Among Bell's fellow signatories were Pete Seeger, Cornel West, and Howard Zinn.

Emphasis mine. It should also be noted that Howard Zinn is not merely the godfather of Matt Damon(!!), but the author of A People's History of the United States, a crackpot screed of distortions and outright lies that is nevertheless a standard issue in almost every classroom in the United States.

While Derrick Bell died of cancer 10 years ago (you have to wonder how those poor, innocent cancer cells were able to slog their way through a mass of evil even more toxic than themselves) the cancer that he has unleashed on us might very well be past the point where nothing short of radical treatment will cure it. I'm sure you can catch my meaning. As they say, "history doesn't' repeat itself but it often rhymes." Look at what Bell said about whites and what Hitler said about the Jews.

80 years ago today, the world for sure knew he meant what he wrote. You better believe those who are steeped in the words of Derrick Bell mean what they say with just as much fervor. If you don't, you may wake up dead in a ditch like 1.5 million Jews on the Eastern Front.

(Sorry about the glitch. Blame Daily Motion)

17 Again as has been said, to the extent "white supremacy" exists in reality, it doesn't have any cultural, institutional or political support.

What exists in reality is the peanut butter and jazz ensemble executing Puerto Ricans, twerking in ambulances and destroying cities when they're not killing each other.

I'm sick of this bullshit, I had my fill of it growing up in the Bronx in the 70's.

This is proof that even good people get stuck in the rhetorical traps of the left.
Trump did not say there were good people on both sides! It is a lie! He was getting pestered by repeated questions from the lefty media who were trying to entrap him into praising the white supremacists. He replied, essentially, "I COULD say there were good people on both sides and you people would find something bad to write about it."

And they proved him right. He can see Russia from his backyard.

He claims to be a RC yet he endorses abortion in addition to other stands the traditional doctrine is opposed to. So Jesus was the great social justice warrior all on board with same sex marriage and the "right to choose" and evidently Lieu wants to provoke a fight and have the Priest refuse his communion. When was the last time faithful RC Lieu went to mass anyway?

47 That "Discover the Networks" excerpt was extremely blunt for its time. It is even blunt for *our* time 25 years later. And it also puts paid to the notion that the Critical Theory Left is anything other than an eliminationist movement. The wrap it up in "privilege" and "retributive justice" (itself an interesting concept worthy of many column inches), but it makes it pretty clear that they deem the only workable method to eliminate "privilege" is to eliminate the race.

Like all Leftists, they don't go further than that into the future because they don't care that once they remove the "privileged" supermen with white skin, there will be another group of privileged supermen to take its place. When you fire the bottom 10% of your workforce, there is always a new bottom 10%. You keep going until there are fewer than 10 people. The same problem applies here.

They will discount that because Postmodern philosophy makes it possible. There will be no new group of supermen because human nature does not exist - it is merely collectively constructed. Getting rid of these supermen will not result in a new batch this time, because they will get the reconstruction right this time.

More of this than ever. I was poking about in the National Archives (online, of course - I'm not a paid researcher who can flit off to warehouses full of documents) and saw this gem of a disclaimer:

Harmful Language Alert
NARA acknowledges that historical records may contain harmful language that reflect attitudes and biases at the time. NARA does not alter, edit, or modify original records or original captions, as they are part of the historical record. NARA is working to address harmful language that may appear in staff-generated legacy descriptions.

The National Archives is our official history. Primary sources of documented government activities. And they're judging it as harmful and bad *in advance* - and working to manipulate those histories to match Current Year woke vagaries.

He who controls the past controls the future, indeed.

It's the classic mistake one makes when dealing with an alien enemy. It's similar to the troubles we had with Japan in WWII, when we learned viscerally (though we knew it intellectually well in advance) that they are *not* like us in terms of combat culture.

Hypocrisy is dishonest, and an honest man will be shamed if the charge is legitimate. But what if you're not up against an honest man? What if you're up against an alien race with no shared standards and no common ground? None of your normal weapons will work. Conflict with an alien group is a war of attrition until one side utterly subjugates the other and imposes its own standards on the vanquished.

That's the only way out that I see. The cultural alienation is complete. Fighting the Left as an in-group deviant will fail, because they aren't in-group anymore. They are aliens among us and must be pushed out.

Fen - this is, as we used to say in the blog-o-sphere - battelspace prep.

The groundwork is being laid that opposition to the government is criminal. That being against anything that is the "government" position will get you shut down. And the "government" is officially pro-choice. This little dustup is going to be used to justify removing the tax exemption for the RC church. And the power to tax is the power to destroy. We shall see who wins here.

On the one hand, I recall that Romans sent Christians to be eaten by lions. And today, there is no Roman Empire, but the Throne of St. Peter is located in Rome.

But on the other hand, I remember the Sanhedrin.

There is no conceptual universe or scenario where the Lord would council "don't pray". Every other time prayer and prayer life is mentioned, it's "Pray. Constantly."

I was just getting into one of my pet peeves-which is people who are anti religion taking Jesus' words out of context for their own ends. An example of this would be the cop arresting the pastor in Alberta, CA for holding a large church service and saying "Didn't Jesus say 'where two or three are gathered in my name I am amongst them'? You don't need a big group." My guess-he wasn't remotely religious and didn't mind cops harassing church goers.

Don't get mired in Whitehouse's frame, JJ. *He* claims that it is about tradition, and you can (and indeed, have) counter that argument easily with numerous examples of the poor positioning of the argument. This approach, however, validates *his* framing of the argument and concedes the point in advance. He says it is about tradition, so the counter-attack should be on a *different* basis. This is a major way they have been so successful in their progression - they reject the establishment narrative frame and attack from the flanks. We should do the same.

Forget tradition. His faction is the one that insists that Masterpiece Cakeshop bake the damn cake. They are the ones arguing that there is no right to free association. Shove it back down his throat. He has no right to association, by his own rules. Anything less than his total submission to that concept is systemic bigotry.

Meat Puppet is no Catholic. If he believes in God at all he must be frightened for his future eternal life. But individuals must struggle and, in this instance, the Church is the greater failure. Hypocrisy is everyday stuff in Catholicism, I suppose, but allowing Communion to a powerful man laboring to slaughter ever larger numbers of children every day seems like an extreme case.

If bishops and priests are not protecting the Blessed Sacrament, then they are doing the work of their father, Satan.

106 The Biden communion controversy is kind of odd. Here is why. Most people in this country don't even go to church anymore, despite that most identify as Christians. Of those, more identify as Protestant than Catholic. For Protestants, it is much more likely that Communion is an "open table." There is no requirement to be in a state of grace or anything like that. God calls you. Take. Eat. (I might note that Judas took part in the first Communion. Judas.)

The Catholic Church has a ruleset that its followers here in the US largely disagree with. The right answer would seem to be, well, perhaps you should belong to a different church. But that is not how things are being set up. Politicians may disagree with the Church. But the Church may not disagree with politicians.

You're getting there. There is an additional subtly, and it's in what you wrote: harmful thought.

That is an alien concept. There is no harmful thought. There is harmful action. Harmful speech is a hairier category, since it is harder to define when harmful speech becomes actual external harm that justifies physical retaliation (e.g., punching the bully). But *thought* is never externally harmful. So the Left shifted slightly and redefined harmful thought as a semi-mystical thing with external manifestations that cannot be observed or proven to exist.

And that, I suspect, is a major key to their power.

158 So many things to unwind here. I am a Protestant, so that should be clear upfront. But my limited understanding of Catholicism is you are either in Communion with the church or you are not. If you are not, you can't partake. Throwing in Protestant views serves little purpose other than to the amplify the differences.

It is obvious that when you have a top down church, when there is one human authority, it can go both ways. It is fine if you agree, and not so good if you disagree. The thing is, these churches have to survive There was a time religious authorities could dictate to a leader, most likely a sovereign. That day is long past. But if the Church stands up for their beliefs, they will likely gain more followers, not fewer. If it must bend to the various views of politicos, they mind offend fewer, but inspire even less.

Are you going to communion to be In Communion with the one who instituted the ritual? Or only to be seen taking communion? Is it for you? Or for the one who made you?

Until you get that mess sorted out for yourself, rules and doctrines don't mean squat.

We are expressing the very panopticons of our souls - every thrust, every dab of eye glitter, every twerk we perform on stage is an affirmation of our existence: "This is our bodies, and our bodies are supreme!"

Besides, we tried it your way, with this whole disagreement thing, and all we got from it was discrimination, shame, and murder. As long as there's a person on Earth who hides his homophobia, queerphobia, transphobia, and inquisiphobia under the name of "disagreement," our bodies will forever quake in fear for when the Reich supremacy movement shutters and negates our bodies entirely.

So no, this is not a matter of seeking your "approval." This is about demonstrating that people of your kind are no longer welcome in our America. We will never be put in that closet again.

To a point. There is another factor, which John Law taught us with his Assignat experiment in France. That created a binary currency, with gold for some purposes and the Assignat for others. What that demonstrated is that such systems will fail and one will inflate against the other, and will be discounted essentially to zero barring other factors.

In that experiment, commerce was to be done in the Assignat and taxes were to be paid in gold. The outcome was that the Assignat had no value. Any currency that is not convertible and cannot be used to pay taxes will fail. We took the opposite approach when we decoupled: the fiat was used for taxes, and gold was not. Gold did not go to zero because it is intrinsically valuable, but gold did go essentially to zero in monetary terms.

Virtual currency will be the same as the Assignat when it becomes non-convertible.

Florida Dave's strategy of moving the political fight to the State level is a good example of that. I don't agree entirely with it, but it's better than Doing Nothing and being perpetually "shocked" by Democrat hypocrisy.

Jared Polis is advancing an executive (i.e. non-legislative) order limiting individuals' ability to commute to work by private auto, under the guise of a Green Energy policy (i.e. Climate), starting with employers of >100 people in the Denver greater metro area.

But the thing to watch is that the plan is being fronted by the Dept of Public Heaalth (CDHPE). They are testing the waters of using public health as the excuse for any area of policy they want. The next step, if they meet opposition, will be to declare an emergency.

Watch for this technique to expand in other states and all policy issues (guns, transportation, housing, speech, baking the cake, etc.)

Precious metals are to some degree an inflation hedge, but they are much more strongly correlated with uncertainty. Volker and Reagan curtailed the eye-watering inflation in the 80s, but they certainly didn't conquer it. The 80s (and everything since then, with the exception of a couple of quarters during the Financial Crisis) were still inflationary, yet gold fell like a rock. Although there was still inflation, the uncertainty was managed well and started to recede.

We're in uncertainty again. Bigly. Hedges of all kinds are going to behave unexpectedly, inflation notwithstanding.

Earlier this year, Polis told CDPHE to propose new regulations surrounding how employees get to and from their places of employment. Those rules will require companies in the Denver and Front Range areas with more than 100 employees create an Employee Transportation Reduction Plan (ETRP) aimed at reducing air pollution by offering commuting alternatives for those employees who currently drive themselves to work. Businesses will be forced to hire a transportation manager to implement their plan.

The Californiacation continues apace. The big SV firms run their own bus lines from San Francisco and surrounds to the corporate campuses in the Valley. It's all very progressive. And since they do it in the Old Country, the colonists will force the matter in the New World.

This has been my take as well. The media fucking terrified the sheeple about covid to the point where it was spilling out across the entire world. The vast majority of people had some twinge of fear about covid, the unknown bat virus from China. With the massive game of Boy Who Cried Wolf played out, it's not going to take 2 more times for most of the village to get wise.

New York will shut down again. California will do it again. Florida won't. Texas won't.

And that's for any matter that they want to use "health" for. Climate change? The thing we've been told is going to put all of America underwater for more than 20 years? Yeah, right. Guns? Where people have been breaking gun purchase records for more than a decade because of leftist promises? I don't think so.

235 Polis' other problem with his scheme - not that it will matter until it's too late and to Colorado's great detriment - is cost. This sloughs it all off on the employer. But those employers aren't captive.

Polis would do well indeed to remember where the big firms and massive employment on the Front Range came from. It came from California, with two nucleus industries - Telecom (90s) and High Tech (2005-present). Major outfits didn't flock to the Denver area for their health, they did so because California was too fucking expensive. Colorado was essentially India - educated, capable and way damn cheaper than staying home. Colorado's high-tech book was fueled by California outfits escaping the untenable cost structure there.

Colorado will find that North Carolina or Michigan or Ohio or somewhere else will happily play the same role.

The only and sole reason I'm not a total pessimist is the States are resisting vigorously. Of course, open borders and the resulting potential voter resettlement is an attempt to forestall this, but it very well may fail.

332 Sheldon Whitehouse is the most sanctimonious, arrogant, self-righteous blowhard in the United States Senate--and that takes some doing. He's the horse's ass of horses' asses in the long, unbroken history of equine derrières.

"It's a long tradition"? So was Jim Crow, pal.
He will "take that up privately" with the Vanderbilts and the Astors over brandies in the Smoking Lounge?
"We just need to work our way through the issues."? In 2021?

Does Sheldon Howell III even hear the bullshit that's coming out of his mouth?

Cracka, please.

335 215 Well, if you don't believe in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist, you cannot be a Catholic. If you do believe in the real presence, you can ONLY be a Catholic.

You should also consider that adhering to all the rituals does not make you Christian. It makes you a worshipper of rituals.

336 When I see a picture like that, it takes me back to HS and how I was shown the horrific, deranged mentality of a NAZI. One day in senior year, as we had to watch another newsreel on the brutality of the Nazi's, I picked my books up and walked out of class. I stood in the hallway and told the teacher I had enough. Years of these kind of images had taken it's toll. Even now, seeing that photo makes me want to puke and just twists my mind. What possess another human being to point a rifle at a mother holding her child and kill them???

338 On southern heritage, I am a southerner, For My grandfather and Father the War Between the States was personal and very real to them, as was the hated "Yankee" For me it was not as personal nor close. I met the Yankee in the Marines and found they were real fine and good men buddies even. My wife's father is from Ohio he was a dark complexion Yankee, my father when he met him was shocked alone with dad he said, "Your wife's father is a YANKEE!" I said but her mom isn't.
For my son the War was a distant memory studied only in school briefly. For My Grandsons it's not even a part of their heritage at all and only taught to show how racist the south and America is.
It is not even on their Radar.
I see it as just something that happened, Bar-B-Ques, fishing and country life are my heritage, no snow and summers are hot.
I don't think about it.

339 Don Surber: "Just a reminder, Trump opened Mar A Lago as the first country club in Palm Beach open to whites, backs AND Jews"

Come to think of it, there's another big difference with the Sheldon and Sewer City Swamp Sailors:

Actual President Trump threw Epstein out of his club for pawing women and assisted prosecutors. The Swamp didn't.

They offed Epstein and installed their own pedophile.

340 I'm 67 and a Yankee from NJ but now live in western NC for the past 18 yrs.
Recently I went back home. While having a conversation I was asked by my brother's friend- what's it like living in NC? I answered with a couple of easy questions " when was the last time you were called a Yankee and when was the last time you saw or hear or had a conversation about anything relating to the f*cking civil war?.... 8th grade, possibly? lol
