The Morning Report - 5/20/21
Golda Meir, in her book A Land of Our Own: An Oral Autobiography,spoke about the different ways in which the two parties viewed children during the imperialist Arabs' endless efforts to push the indigenous Jews out of their land.** Most people remember only the last sentence -- "Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us" -- but it's actually the preceding sentence that illuminates the vast moral chasm between Israelis and Arabs:Clear your mind for a moment of politics, religion, the Middle East and history. Then concentrating on only the words themselves, read that exchange; the Arab sounds dictionary-definition psychotic. The last two lines especially hit you right in the face. This is the same mindset the Japanese had on Saipan and Okinawa, convincing civilians to kill themselves because the GIs were going to torture them, or cannibalize them. And if they didn't believe them, they shot them rather than let them fall into the hands of the Americans and find out otherwise. But that madness quickly ended on the deck of the Mighty Mo. This madness about Israel has been going on since 1948 and about Jews for over 2,000 years. The insidious evil of it is that one group of people have been used and abused for several generations by their own kind as political and actual cannon fodder to both destroy another group they view as a nemesis and to cover up their own failings. I'm not just referring to "Palestinians," the Muslim World and Israel. Substitute blacks/minorities, the Democrat-Socialists and America as founded - and you will be astounded. I'm a poet and I didn't even know it. The dozens of cities that burned last summer was in fact an artificially-created "intifada" (which was artificial itself). All based on the lie of "white privilege," "systemic racism" and "black genocide at the hands of law enforcement" and so on. GOSPEL EMMES TRUTH 1: The misery, squalor and suffering of blacks and other minorities in this country is the fault of the Democrat Party and the socialist movement. The latter have used the former for the sole purpose of accruing power and instituting policies that both cement and grow that power while making those they supposedly champion even more miserable than before - all while blaming Republicans, conservatives, whites and America as founded as irredeemably guilty for the genocide they, the Left, caused. GOSPEL EMMES TRUTH 2: The salvation of both these "oppressed" peoples lies in those they have been brainwashed to hate and blame for their misery. The ACLU and SPLC and now the damned Justice Dept. are going on about "white supremacists" being the gravest danger to "our sacred democracy" (spit!). A few thousand loons in a nation of 320 million are about as dangerous to me as a Wuhan Frankenstein bat virus. But now take a look at Critical Race Theory and the 1619 Project. This madness isn't warmed over quotes from Mein Kampf mimeographed on flyers. This is being taught in almost every school from coast to coast as a cornerstone of the national curriculum and again, substitute "white" for "Jew" and it's the same damned thing. Meanwhile, from out of left field, but when you think about it relevant to what we are seeing in the here and now...When peace comes we will perhaps in time be able to forgive the Arabs for killing our sons, but it will be harder for us to forgive them for having forced us to kill their sons. Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us.Now, though, a recording of a conversation between an Israel Defense Force soldier warning an Arab in Gaza to evacuate a building reveals that this understanding of the difference between Israelis and Arabs in Gaza and the West Bank isn't propaganda at all:Arab: I can't get all of the people out. I need at least two hours to get them out. IDF: Listen, we are going to bomb the building. Arab: You want to bomb? Bomb whatever you want. IDF: No, brother, we need to do everything we can so you don't die. Arab: We want to die. IDF: But you have a responsibility for children's lives. Arab: If the children need to die then they'll die. IDF: God forbid! God forbid! Why do you want to die? Arab: This is how we reveal your cruelty....**You will no longer find the word "Palestinians" in anything I wrote because that gives the Arabs in Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank a historic legitimacy that has no basis in truth. One of my daughters recently had a baby and tells me she immediately noticed how judgemental other women are about breast-feeding. It's a huge deal in the world of young-motherhood for women to (sometimes harshly) have opinions about the breastfeeding habits of other women. So it doesn't surprise me at all that there is lots of concern-trolling about Torah Bright goofing with her baby like this.
As for me, I think she can do whatever she wants to do and think she sounds like she's going to be a great mom.

35 One of my daughters recently had a baby and tells me she immediately noticed how judgemental other women are about breast-feeding. It's a huge deal in the world of young-motherhood for women to (sometimes harshly) have opinions about the breastfeeding habits of other women.

Sad news for Pixy, Oz loses 30,600 jobs when it was expected that 15,000 were to have been created. I don't know if every state is still in various levels of lockdown but I know the federal government there was looking at vacc passports for interstate travel. Still, whatever could be causing this unusual event?? (Locked-down Canada also had job losses and not WuFlu expected recovery gains as well recently.)

This sure appears to be an indication the real president of the United States, President Trump, is going to run again. I only have mixed feelings insomuch as knowing the same fraud machine will be in place again and it simply won't matter. But I guess I could say that about any R candidate from here until eternity. We have no hope unless and until voting integrity is restored.
Incidentally, there's no amount of flame or broken glass I wouldn't walk through to see him win. With DeSantis as a running mate. The sheer delight I would get in seeing the left's brains exploding in all 4 corners of the country would be a rich, decadent indulgence for sure.
Summation: without honest elections, none of it matters.

I will certainly support Trump's candidacy. But I would need to know what he will do differently with respect to fighting the Left. I have no interest in another four years of #twoweeks. He is in a perfect, historic position to leverage his defeat into a righteous victory and vindication, of lessons learned, not just for him but for the country. I don't want to hear any mewling about "national healing," but rather restoration of justice.

That is such a wicked combination of evil, manipulative, arrogant and ignorant that it almost beggars belief. It is one of the few real-world examples that are readily available of something that is both perfectly counter to the truth *and* duplicitous hypocrisy. If you want to argue that *stigmatizing* breastfeeding is a form of ethnic supremacism, you could do so. I don't know that the argument is all that strong (as opposed to other causes - like arrogance and pseudo-scientific research worship), but at least it's *there.* The opposite argument, the one that they're making, isn't there at all unless they look in a fucking mirror.

I was at my sleep therapist yesterday to review my new APAP machine. Towards the end of my visit he asked about the vaccine. I deferred. He mentioned that's it's safe and claimed the same technology/research that is going into therapeutic cancer drugs is in the vaccine... so "it's safe."

That's the real problem. He got into bed with the enemy using our money and in contravention of the law. The final point in the curly brackets makes the case stronger, but isn't actually relevant either. She got really angry then and accused him of spending way too much money on another computer thing that had no purpose. He calmly replied, "Dear, this is the future. Our children are going to be a part of it and know how it works. The Internet is going to change everything."

One of my daughters recently had a baby and tells me she immediately noticed how judgemental other women are about breast-feeding.
My wife was never able to breast-feed. Fortunately, the lactation consultant we hired pulled the plug pretty quickly. She lamented the fact that women who have difficulties catch so much shit over it. It's better but the most important thing is that the baby gets fed.
I know this isn't what was going on in the story but...

In 2000 when Diebold came under fire, they disclosed a *lot* about how the machines worked, took criticism over design choices, made a lot of changes to the software, attended public hearings, etc. They defended themselves but acknowledged the problems that others brought up. Did they truly fix anything? Who knows.
But compare that what Dominion has done in 2020-2021.

I am celebrating this morning. I've been short on sleep all week. Horrible nightmares that wake me with heart racing and sweat dumping have reduced my nightly average to about 3-4 hours since Sunday. Last night it took me like two hours to get to sleep and I woke up once, but no panic fever dreams. I got like six hours and feel great.

It will have to be approved by the legislature. I am sure union heads are helping to push this but am not sure of their reason other than they love the idea of any worker being able to not work out of fear of Covid yet still get paid.

I think that social media has created a perverse incentive. It's kind of like the interpretation of wealth that goes like, "money doesn't actually change you, it just amplifies what you are and makes you louder."
Social Media is a helluvan amplifier. It lets you be loud, get attention and face no consequences. It has mob dynamics at its core (and I doubt that was actually intentional). Social media isn't precisely to blame, but it acted as a mechanism to safely amplify existing bad behavior and attitudes. To remove the "safely" part of the equation, it would have to be neutral (I am not sure that would work, either, but it might) and not keep its finger on the scale for one mob at the expense of the others and encourage one ideology at the expense of the others. That's a toxic brew of increased safety for one pathological group and increased danger for the others. That will compound and feed back.

When the GOP is in power they use their time to attack their own and maintain their position at the pig trough.
And isn't it telling that the only politicians in power that have spoken out about the mistreatment of the Jan 6th political prisoners were Elizabeth Warren and Dick Durbin.

No missiles went further north than the greater TA metropolitan area. Haifa is untouched. A few missiles were fired from Lebanon toward northern Israel. A few landed in Israel without causing damage. Tel Aviv and other surrounding cities received large amounts of missiles for 2-3 days out of the last 10 but that stopped.
Jerusalem was only targeted on day 1 by less than a handful of missiles. One caused minor property damage.
The major brunt of harm by missiles has been borne by the villages, towns and cities around Gaza. This has been true for decades already. There are so many PTSD victims, from children to elderly. So many of them hardly have time to run for cover because of their proximity to Gaza.
Gaza needs to be destroyed - flattened. It should have been done decades ago. Egypt can have them. Or the sea. I don't give a damn.

The West Bank was managed by Jordan lost during the war and established as Israel in the 1994 peace accords.
The West bank is formally Israel. If the arabs living there think otherwise they need to return and talk to Jordan.
The funny part is that the border IS literally "from the river to the sea."
Borders: The international boundary between Israel and Jordan follows the Jordan and Yarmouk Rivers, the Dead Sea, the Emek Ha'Arava/Wadi Araba, and the Gulf of Aqaba.[9] The section of the line that separated Jordan from the West Bank was stipulated as "without prejudice to the status of [that] territory."[9]

jjs, you again used the term "inshalla." Why would you do that??! The word "inshalla" invokes allah, the god of Muslims. Jesus died for His enemies, whereas Muhammed murders his enemies.
