"Van Gogh repeatedly took shoes as his subject. He painted these wooden-soled leather clogs in the southern French town of Saint-Remy. He was being treated for his psychiatric problems in a clinic and for a short period was reluctant to go outside. He continued to paint, however, as soon as he felt well enough. Real clogs are expensive as heck. We sometimes go up to Sister Bay in Door County. There's a Swedish restaurant/gift shop there called Al Johnson's. It's the place with the goats on the roof. Anyway, you can buy Swedish clogs there for around $169. Worth it because you'll never need another pair. Same for their sweaters.

Trump would be railing against Biden right now on social media. And rightly so. But in banning him, they created a vacuum. And by default, how ever much the MSM tries not to, Biden, his policies and the Ds are the news. Without Trump's postings to focus on, people will soon forget and Trump merely needs to remind voters of his policies come 2024. Joe was sold as calming the storm. How's that working out?

Trump would be railing against Biden right now on social media. And rightly so. But in banning him, they created a vacuum. Posted by: runner at May 12, 2021 09:00 AM (V13WU) I think this is hilarious. Sophisticated off-the-shelf image processing technologies perform resolution, shape and subject matter matching to reduce any jarring transformations by ensuring that dogs remain dogs and structures remain structures. My wife and I have a "half a tank rule" in that when the tank on our vehicles gets down to half, we fill it. But, with the east coast gas shortages, and who knows what other deviltry is going to happen, we're now officially paranoid and may go to a "below 3/4 tank" rule. This sucks, mostly because I don't know if we're paranoid enough. Posted by: blake - semi lurker in marginal standing at May 12, 2021 10:03 AM (2SdPm) 515

I found it, its says they release the letter tomorrow, so we don't have the full list of signatories yet. Miles Taylor is the guy quoted. Never heard of him.
Posted by: zmdavid at May 12, 2021 09:57 AM (xqRaG) Wasn't he the Deputy Assistant Undersecretary of DHS that wrote the Anonymous thing? Oh no we've lost this guy how will we recover? Posted by: blaster at May 12, 2021 10:21 AM (ZfRYq) 522

Help, CBD! There was a painting posted a year or more ago, of a lady who'd lost her hat in the river. I loved it, and wrote it down...somewhere. Anyone remember that one?
