In academia humanities and (to a lesser extent) social science profs are notorious for banging undergraduates and grad students. It's almost a perk of the job. STEM faculty do not generally do that. It's very much frowned upon in STEM departments, the only gray area being an honorable relationship with a subordinate that just didn't work out, which, of course, happens sometimes.
