The Morning Report - 4/29/21

thingspeech.jpg

Good morning kids. Thursday and of course the big story is last night, a somewhat ambulatory (when not stumbling up staircases) dementia patient who can't even address an envelope somehow addressed a joint session of Congress. For what purpose, I'm not quite sure. It wasn't a State of the Union Speech because those are usually given in January and the cold, hard truth is there is no more union. But, I'll give the old bastard props, or his medical team for administering the right combination of Resperidone, Memantine and crystal meth. Aside from the trillions of dollars in debt he and his handlers want to saddle us with, Joe Biden delivered with crystal clarity an unambiguous message of power, lies and fear, all rolled into one overarching theme, not just of last night but since time immemorial: Hatred. Hatred of you, me and the nation formerly known as the United States of America.

The tone was set early with a whopper that would have made another famous leftist Josef Goebbels beam with pride. Joe Biden referred to the Capitol Hill protest of January 6th, 2021, as the...

"worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War."

Aside from the fact that we are not a democracy but a representative constitutional republic - or at least we were - and that the "attack" was carried out by agents provocateurs of the Democrats in the form of BLM/Antifa confederates dressed as MAGA rally goers and police who with malice aforethought were either were kept away from the Capitol building or allowed the aforementioned BlaM-tifarians to enter the building and in one case assassinated an unarmed rally goer Ashli Babbitt, the absolute ludicrousness of the statement would be laughable were it not for the fact that a large percentage of our population think 9/11 is a convenience store, Pearl Harbor is a grunge band from Seattle and have no idea what the Civil War is. That's because to know its significance would be to understand that everything their minds are being poisoned with in terms of "critical race theory" and "structural racism" is the titanic mega-mind-fuck to end all mind-fucks.

As for the January 6th event at the Capitol that Biden stunningly called the worst attack since the Civil War, not a single person arrested was armed. The only person killed, Ashli Babbitt, was murdered by a member of the Capitol Police who to this day remains unnamed. That the FBI and DOJ have pretended those present that day were all domestic terrorists is a shocking turn of events. They've even placed some on a no-fly list, which is entirely unconstitutional. Their crimes were petty in comparison to the BLM/Antifa riots that destroyed numerous cities over the summer.

We all knew that Obama had weaponized all the federal agencies, from the IRS to the FBI ,but now we know just how far down the road to Marxism they've gone. We suffered a coup. How else do we explain the feds raiding Rudy Giuliani's residence but refusing to take the copy of Hunter Biden's laptop hard drive which is chock full of child porn among other disgusting things? Hunter Biden gets a job teaching at Tulane and Rudy Giuliani is under investigation! There is so much wrong with this picture.

We are definitely not in Kansas anymore, to borrow a phrase from the Wizard of Oz. We are fast becoming a facsimile of Mao's China or, when we see that vaccine passports may be required, Hitler's Germany. Biden is the dim and clueless tip of the spear of the Alinskyite left's trojan horse. Unless the Republicans develop a collective spine, America and the freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution are soon to be gone.

Sadly, the fact that the timorous Republicans voted to confirm nearly every one of Biden's radical, racist cabinet appointees does not bode well for America's survival. They've put us at the mercy of an almost vicious anti-American left...

...No doubt millions of Americans who bothered to watch Biden's speech were horrified by his claim that the January 6th not-insurrection was the "worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War." It was an appalling statement, a monumental lie that betrayed his administration's contempt for the American people. These people must be defeated.

The actual highlight of the night wasn't Biden but was Senator Tim Scott's rebuttal and refutation of the poisonous bilge that emanated from the so-called quote-unquote "president's" filthy sewer. Most powerfully was his dismantling of the "Jim Crow" smearing of Georgia's new voter integrity laws and the overall theme of the genocidal blood-libeling of white people. Judging by the reactions from the usual suspects, (links below) he definitely touched a nerve:

Today, kids are being taught that the color of their skin defines them again -- and if they look a certain way, they're an oppressor. From colleges to corporations to our culture, people are making money and gaining power by pretending we haven't made any progress at all, by doubling down on the divisions we've worked so hard to heal.

You know this stuff is wrong. Hear me clearly: America is not a racist country. It's backwards to fight discrimination with different types of discrimination. And it's wrong to try to use our painful past to dishonestly shut down debates in the present.

I'm an African American who has voted in the South my entire life. I take voting rights personally. Republicans support making it easier to vote and harder to cheat. And so do the voters! Big majorities of Americans support early voting, and big majorities support Voter I.D. -- including African Americans and Hispanics. Common sense makes common ground.

But today, this conversation has collapsed. The state of Georgia passed a law that expands early voting; preserves no-excuse mail-in voting; and, despite what the president claimed, did not reduce Election Day hours. If you actually read this law, it's mainstream! It will be easier to vote early in Georgia than in Democrat-run New York.

But the Left doesn't want you to know that. They want people virtue-signaling by yelling about a law they haven't even read! Fact-checkers have called out the White House for misstatements. The president absurdly claims this is worse than Jim Crow.

What is going on here? I'll tell you. A Washington power grab. This misplaced outrage is supposed to justify Democrats' new sweeping bill that would take over elections for all 50 states; it would send public funds to political campaigns you disagree with, and make the bipartisan Federal Elections Commission partisan!

This is not about civil rights, or our racial past. It's about rigging elections in the future.

Let's be honest; American Thinker's Patricia McCarthy (the first link before Scott's excerpt) is dead on when she condemns the GOP for just rubber-stamping Biden's Maoist radical appointees. And unfortunately, while I do not have the record in front of me and I do not know how Scott voted, I do not recall him voicing any opposition to vermin like Vanita Gupta, Colin Kahl et al. His overall tenure in the Senate too has been a disappointment in terms of advancing the MAGA agenda or defending President-in-Exile Trump.

But last night, his response was dead on. And for daring to speak truth to (illegitimate) power, he gets all kinds of filthy abuse heaped on him. Well they had to do it since there is no rational, reasonable argument that either bolsters Democrats' claims and positions or refutes Scott's statements. Therefore, slime, demean and blood-libel - loudly. And like every person who is either attacked with fists, frozen water bottles, cement hate-shakes or worse, threats to one's job and livelihood for daring to have an opinion counter to the regime, the sliming of Tim Scott is a warning, not just to blacks who dare think for themselves but to anyone who now challenges the cancer that has overthrown the nation.

Psaki-Psircling back, Biden had to compare January 6th to the Civil War. If he didn't, the persecution now of Rudy Giuliani, the dozens of innocent people who did nothing more than show up at the Capitol "singing songs and carrying signs, mostly saying 'hooray for our side'" would not have a pretext, no matter how patently ludicrous the charge, to be put in figurative and literal crosshairs. With the imminent weaponization of "hate speech" codified as anyone the government deems a threat to "our democracy" - meaning it's power - the potential list of criminals now extends to a minimum of 80 million people.

"Everybody look what's going down..." indeed.

22 I still suspect that this raid on Giuliani is directly related to Biden's April 15th EO saying that if the government suspects that you talked to a foreigner and interfered in an election then they can seize all of your assets, all of your family's assets, and make it illegal for anyone to do business with you.

And Trump's name will be found on a document in Giuliani's possession, and then he and his family will be next.

See if I give a damn or lift a finger to oppose this with call or email to my congress

Of course, the proposed tax hikes will never bring in enough to make everything free so it will be middle class that pays in the end or just create the money out of this air and massive inflation. The raid was for a couple of reason's, pay back for going after Hunter, the general viciousness of the Deep State and most importantly of all to get privileged communications between Giuliani and Trump.

This is the 2nd Trump lawyer who has had their offices raided.

Which tells me they still have jack squat nothing on Trump.

Trump literally has to be the most above the board and honest businessman ever.

Just think about that, the entirety of the LE/IC apparatus working in overdrive for 6 years to take him out on something, and like a Seinfeld episode they got nothing.

Incredible.

Well, toots, if you're more worried about "stigma" than a disease that ravages through your immune system that renders it Swiss Cheese, then your narcissism will physically kill you.

I don't give a shit (haha) about the spread of HIV among LGBT Americans. It's a predictable virus with a known method of spread. It could've been almost completely eradicated except for a handful of cases a year, and it could've been done in the 90s.

It wasn't because it's a noble, wonderful virus, and an honor for gay people to die from it. It's THEIR virus, haters, and how dare you eradicate it with basic techniques that end deadly viruses.

Instead we have 40K cases every year, year in and year out, since the 90s, by the same people who are demanding two year old kids wear masks and stay locked in their bedrooms as protection against a cold virus.

But those are just the biggies. Then you have smaller things like Dominican communists shooting at US embassy staff in Santo Domingo, resulting in a brief conquest on the DR that most people don't even know happened. Of course she does. And MyKia Bryant's mother believes that her Stabby daughter was simply trying to persuade her friend in the pink jog suit to join MyKia in her pursuit of world peace as MyKia raised the knife over friend's cowering body.

Arbery was a known thief who went into the under-construction home, without permission of the owner or builder, because he was probably the one who had been burglarizing other homes in the area, and he was looking for something to steal. The white guys who spotted him had been trying to catch this burglar. After seeing Arbery in the under-construction house on the security camera, they called the cops and were trying to follow him and keep an eye on him so he couldn't get away before the cops arrived. Arbery saw them following him, and he got pissed and turned back to confront them. He grabbed the gun of one of them, and that's when he got shot.

143 If the virus was as deadly as it was hyped, you would not need orders and regulations and Karens to make everybody social distance, stay at home wear masks and get the vaccine.

A legit pandemic would have seen triage measures. People compelled to continue working in key industries, to wring every last drop of productivity out of them until they dropped. And absolutely no concern about keeping mostly non productive, mostly resource consuming segments of the population alive. The FEMA charter on such things is brutal. We saw none of that during this bullshit sham.

He's a thoughtful guy and you're lucky to have him. I believe Tim deeply thinks about issues before he comments or responds. I wish more people would be that reflective. People forget he spoke out against impeachment and many of the Democrats other excesses. He's sponsored a lot of good legislation and things like OZ's are key to helping us capture more of the voting community. On race and the police he has been second to none. Is he going to be you're frothy mouthed conservative stalwart? No, that's not his style. But in the end he always stands up for what he believe is right. That's honest and good enough for me. I am just sick of people, trolls, idiots arguing: "well, it's terrible the liberals attacked Tim, but.....". That's not a material argument. 182 Fake pandemic. Not a single hospital had to turn anyone away due to covid. Not a single hospital ran out of respirators due to covid. Tens of thousands of respirators were rushed into emergency production because we were told they would be needed and literally tens of thousands were going to die because hospitals did not have adequate supplies of them but they were not needed and sit idle to this day.

We were told hospitals would be overwhelmed in places like NYC, LA and Chicago. Hospital ships were sent, mobile military hospitals were sent and set up and sat unused. After weeks went by without seeing any patients they left. Millions of $$$ wasted.

We had a total of 1316 flu cases reported to the CDC for the 2020-2021 flu season, normally we have 100,000+. Doctors and hospitals were coding everyone who actually had the flu as covid cases to get the extra Federal $$$ that comes with reporting a positive case.

Prices are up across the board. Supply chains are all screwed up, and no matter what the Fed says about a "2%" target for inflation (on average*) they won't be able to control it. Bank on it. Eventually this will trickle into corporate earnings and consumption. The plans for America's destruction The Fraud announced last night will be the coup de grace. My sister in law had an episode in which she fainted a few months ago. She went to the hospital and called my brother. He called me for transportation and to watch the baby while he went in. The plan was for me to sit in the waiting room, because patients could only have one visitor in a 24-hour period.

But the hospital also had a "patients or sole visitors only in the waiting room" rule. So I got to sit in the car with the baby and wait for a phone call about what I should do next.

That is a level of stupidity that approaches the sublime.

They're getting construction on the development going again and - thanks to construction costs and, more importantly, locusts fleeing the city and buying things sight unseen - his particular one has almost doubled in price already.

I told him he should never move in and sell it immediately, and use the original investment to buy a small patch of land to build a house on. He's seriously considering it.

The people who were terrified that they were going to catch a cold that they might not ever even know they had and kill thousands of people around them were so scared that they double masked and wore dishwashing gloves while they drove alone in their cars, and guess what? They didn't catch it and they didn't kill thousands of people, all because of the experts guidance and their own caution.

286 I have concluded that Critical Race Theory has become reparations in disguise. The black professors who invented the CRT THEORY - it is still officially called a theory - may not have envisioned it as a form of reparations. Fellow Masrxists have since thermonuclear-weaponized it as such, to achieve what? Helping blacks? No, tearing-down the whites. In other words, Revenge. Or, in their minds, reparations by means other than direct cash to blacks. Of course, if CRT succeeds in destroying white culture and empowering race mongers, cash reparations await at the end of the CRT rainbow.

They wish. The white Dem race mongers are using CRT for their own evil purposes, and see other things at the end of that rainbow; I doubt any of them would be good for blacks under the black one percenters.

So, that's MY theory. Once you see CRT as a means to exact reparations/revenge on whites using BLM and stupid white liberals as the foot soldiers, it all makes sense. My 2 cents worth on a Thursday.

Restaurants are keeping their dining rooms closed not because of the virus, but because they've noticed their sales only dropped 10% while they're not having to burn through HVAC energy costs, cleaning toilets, mopping floors, etc.

I'm betting most of these places are realizing they're making more money with just the drive-through open.

Think bigger. Much bigger.

CRT is merely an imprint of Critical Theory more generally. Critical Theory seeks to bring about the postmodern (that is, neo-communist) utopia through constant critique and subsequent action followed by more critique, the process recycling until we arrive at the destination (the end of history and the new socialist man).

Reparations may be a middle step or that may not happen. It doesn't matter. The actual endpoint of CRT, it's daddy CT and all utopian ideology is the same: slaughter. Industrial-scale mass slaughter of the enemy.

That's about right - at my place we don't have staff dedicated to clearing the trays/trash from the dining area. We made it pretty convenient for customers to do it themselves. And they do. Spills, etc., someone preparing the food will run out and take care of it. Or the none paid owners or kin. Eat in is only about 1/3 of sales anyway.

They won't do anything big and sudden to prompt revolution. Require FFL paperwork for all transactions. Ban certain models or features. Introduce waiting periods and "safe storage" measures. Repeal tort protections.. Egregious intrusions into a fundamental right, but the majority of the public won't care enough to support a violent reaction.

Most importantly, the government won't do door to door gun confiscation. They'll pass the laws, hammer people found in violation while investigating other crimes, and scare most normies into disposing of guns when inherited from relatives. Make gun owning a pariah status, and whittle it down over time.

sra blaster and I (well mostly her) started looking at that maybe 3 years ago. Took us a while (maybe it took a while for her to convince me) but we are under contract now for 120 acres. We have to wait a bit for appraisal and survey services because there is so much activity in the area. We feel like we are a little bit ahead of the curve now.

My grandfather was a real estate agent, and my mother always said buy land, they aren't making any more of it. If you feel like you should buy property - I will encourage you. Do it. Watch some youtubes titled "7 things to know when buying land" or "here's 4 things I wish I knew before buying land" They are mostly common sense but you know if you haven't bought land before it is different than buying a house.

423 Most Americans liked Biden's speech
Most Americans want higher taxes on corporations and the uber wealthy
Both are becoming too politically powerful especially after CitizensUnited v FEC giving giant corporations same rights as citizens in politics

424 Every "news" item covered by MSM is meant to distract from the only issue: the border. Have people stopped coming across? Nothing in the media about it this past week other than Kommie Kam not going down to do a look-see.

426 Most Americans are idiots. They think taxing the corporations will save them from paying higher taxes.
Rich men bad, ya know the thing.

I don't know if you are an official troll or not. I don't know if I am allowed to respond to you. But the Uber Wealthy as you say, and the corporations are the people who made Biden president.

428 For the record, I want 99.9% taxes on corporations worth more than $1B and the uber wealthy worth more than $25M.

429 HIV spread among gay men is a crazy phenomenon. Do AIDS parties still happen? Those were kind of an underground thing in the 90s and early 2000s. People attended those to get AIDS because they thought it was inevitable that they would catch it...so why not get it now was the attitude.

430 Ive worked/lived in ISO containers. They suck. They're hot, cold, and noisy. The noise can be incredible. They also have poor ventilation and the door hinges aren't ment for everyday use. If free, maybe. At 15K, buy a decent garden shed and upgrade it.

431 This is why I am starting to think of Elon Musk as an indispensible man. Starlink is truly a gamechanger in this respect. I can't wait until he assumes his throne on Mars.

434 ""Original sin is never the end of the story. Not in our souls and not for our nation. The real story is always redemption." (except there never was an "original sin" in the founding of America - jjs)"

There absolutely was an original sin in the formation of this country:

The Constitution was voted in illegally....and even before the Articles of Confederation (The United States' FIRST constitution), what and where is the opt out clause for those who do NOT consent to be governed, thereby denying the government of it's "JUST" power as outlined in the founding document of this country, the Declaration of Independence?
