The Moderate, Centrist Democrat That NeverTrump Supported and Vouched For Announces He Favors Using Budget Reconciliation to Force an Amnesty Through Congress

I look forward to reading Conservative, Inc. -- which knowingly, willfully aided Biden's campaign -- writing various Sternly Worded Columns and Harsh-Toned Open Letters claiming that they're completely surprised that the leftwing socialist Democrat who had a more liberal voting record than Barack Obama turned out to be a hardcore leftwinger.

President Joe Biden told Hispanic members of Congress on Tuesday he supported the idea of moving legislation on immigration reform using budget reconciliation and a simple Democrat majority.

"He said he was committed to making those statements publicly," Rep. Darren Soto (D-FL) told Politico, detailing the meeting.

Biden met with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus on Tuesday at the White House.

Soto said Biden would include rhetoric supporting the idea in his address to Congress later this month.

Well if he thinks he can pervert the reconciliation process -- used for budgetary matters only -- without Baseball Cuck and JeffB. and The Future Mrs. CNN Erick Erickson teaming up to write a Very Tough Twitter Thread about it (and about the Shang Chi trailer), he's got another thing coming!

Why that'll fix his wagon somethin' fierce!

Ah, I'm just kidding. They won't collaborate on a Very Tough Twitter Thread against amnesty. They're functionally pro-open-borders (while pretending otherwise).

Impotent weakling catamites.

I say, I sure hope that National Review holds one of its biweekly beg-a-thons soon. They've done such stellar work electing Democrats that I really want to make sure all their writers and editors can add new additions to their homes this year. Maybe put in new pools, too. Classy ones, like with salt water and an infinity edge.

The only good thing I can say about these contemptible grifters is that they no longer bother with the "We're the true conservatives!" hustle. Even they now concede that that pose is absurd.

22 Well doing amnesty on reconciliation would be boldly taking up the lawlessness to a much higher level.

But why not?

And remember, solid majorities of *Biden* voters oppose amnesty, according to real opinion survey research spanning years.

O-care was opposed from the start by solid majorities, remains unpopular by about the same margins.

Didn't matter. The levers that actual citizens have to pull on in the "political system" simply aren't connected to anything on the other end.

well they (nearly) openly advocated for Joe Biden, and are now pretending they're shocked, shocked! that Biden is being a hard leftist.

They can't admit the truth, which is that it was as obvious to them as it was to us that Biden was a leftist, but they agitated for him everywhere because the billionaires signing their checks ordered them too.

Well, that's not fair -- they're also quite liberal so they're inclined to support the left.

Later school fencing gave all students the scar, as proof that they could face a blade. They even had weird helmets for the student to wear so they would get the scar but not accidentally lose an eye or a cheekbone.

45 Hard to believe they wouldn't tack on an "assault weapons ban" while they're at it. Why not?

Note, Obama didn't go near amnesty or any real "gun control", in 8 years (I mean formal, open, "lawful" - the lawless informal behavioral de facto amnesty was aggressive).

Popular attitudes on this haven't really changed.

Breath taking how completely disconnected from popular will things have become.

Rumination on trolls: Much like actual traitors, they are engaged in a hostile act against those all around them. Therefore, one could guess that similar motivations and etiology are involved.

Is is possible that trolls are subject to MICES reasons for doing the things they do, much as spies are?

Well, let's see:
M - money. There are definitely pay trolls, but there are also those whose trolling is motivated by real life engagements - they "don't get" what it is to their advantage not to "get". Your Moo-Moos and the like. M - definitely. I - ideology. I think this one speaks for itself. As a lazy example, Kurt, as a less lazy one, the Stormfront boiz. C - coercion. Maybe a more subtle one. I don't think anybody is trolling because their kids are held hostage, but I think many are, say, prisoners of a lefty wife or otherwise loopy and letting it play on other causes. I think this one could apply to the weird gimp behavior exhibited by "ALL IS LOST" shitbricks like Lurking Lurker to a point. E - ego. Well, BSG anyone? Enough said. S - sex. Chemjeff (allegedly).

95 Abbott the Boneless *ought* to deploy the Texas National Guard, (armed), to shut down the border with Mexico. And further, declare all Texas adults who will accept the appointment, as "Militia", eligible to own and bear all manner of Class III guns & gear. Volunteers could rotate a couple weeks of Border Duty in exchange for a robust supply of guns n' ammo.

Also on the list of *oughts*, is for Abbott to tell Biden to fuck the right off, when Biden tries to "Federalize" the Texas National Guard, as he'd try to place them under D.C. command and control.

But, (sigh).. Abbott, and then *ought*. Shoulda known better than to bet against a stacked deck.

100 Some good news:
A man who set off a pipe bomb during rush hour in a New York subway station has been sentenced to life in prison.

Akayed Ullah, 31, detonated the bomb in Times Square station, which is the busiest in New York City, on 11 December 2017.

He later claimed he had only wanted to kill himself and was not acting on behalf of the Islamic State (IS) group.

110 J&J vaccine study results published in the New England Journal of Medicine yesterday says the vaccine does not prevent you from getting Covid, but reduces the severity of the symptoms for about 67% of the people who caught it within a few weeks after getting vaccinated (likely with reduced efficacy as time passes). So masks don't work (virus particles much smaller than gaps in masks) and the vaccine doesn't prevent you from getting or transmitting the virus. It has all been theater.

The places I most care about have already offered plans for such an attack.

Posted by: trev006

I don't think that the vast majority of American owning firearms think that they are just ...ornamental. But it doesn't take a gun or ammo to shoot someone, it takes a "hard heart". Most people.... and I largely include myself....would have a hard time shooting another human being. If put under pressure, some would, some wouldn't. But unless "we" are somehow organized into a real militia (and the Fed Gov would come down HARD on that these days), we are going to destroyed, picked off, in detail. One by one.

there are many great cuisines, there is no doubt there. I am into Korean food lately. But There are only a handful of international cuisines that other countries want to eat just because they enjoy the food.

There is a similar situation with wine. Almost every country produces wine in some shape or form. Hell, I think the Russian produce a lot of it and have done so for decades. But there are only five or six countries that export wine across the globe because they have ready buyers on the other end.

Posted by: Bozo Conservative ....Living on the prison planet at April 22, 2021 05:11 PM (tjZg/)

I agree with much of this, but the specific prescription is needlessly pessimistic. The idea of serious militia units is a romantic American ideal, but the Founders didn't think much of militia, and didn't put much trust in them after the Revolution.

(If Donald Trump is as historically inclined as I believe, this was a major reason he didn't call for a national uprising. But I digress.)

The point is, you don't need a large militia. You need a fighting cell- I would suggest anything over four people is likely to be compromised, either by greed or sheer stupidity. Explosives training would help a lot, obviously, but it is what it is. Your odds of surviving longer than a few months are individually low... but your actions might spark a real guerilla movement.

There is a similar situation with wine. Almost every country produces wine in some shape or form. Hell, I think the Russian produce a lot of it and have done so for decades. But there are only five or six countries that export wine across the globe because they have ready buyers on the other end.

regarding wine, i think part of it is snobbery though. and part of it is varietals. sure there's french, us, chile, arentina, australia, and italy as the big hitters, but really i think south africa is putting out anything as good at a cheaper price. and then you get to varietals like Riesling that are best out of germany, or manschevitz...

you should look up Korean Ramjun. It is a cheap and available ramen, kind of like cup of noodles, but ten times better. If you research it, you will see the breadth of the dish. The good Korean options are ten times better than that old school crap. And if you check yt videos, they can teach you that you can add a soft boiled egg, spring onions, and American cheese. Don't be put off by the AMerican cheese part, it is a super Korean thing to do. It is interesting that the Koreans love cheese, and I mean love it. For sure that came out of the Korean War. If you eat Ramjun with American cheese, you are not just being authentic, you are eating history.
