Michigan Judge: Yes, the Democrat Secretary of State's Illegal Order to Accept Dodgy Ballots Was Illegal

Trump was right.

A Michigan judge ruled last week Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson (D) broke state law when she unilaterally issued rules related to absentee balloting, legitimizing a key claim made by the Trump campaign in its legal challenges to the 2020 election.

Benson issued several unilateral orders during the 2020 election including sending absentee ballot applications to all registered voters. She also issued "guidance" on how to evaluate absentee ballots, a move Michigan Court of Claims Chief Judge Christopher Murray held violated the state’s Administrative Procedures Act.

In the guidance, Benson said "light similarities" in signatures on absentee ballots should lead a counter to decide "in favor of finding that the voter's signature was valid."

Murray ruled Benson violated the law "because the guidance issued by the Secretary of State on October 6, 2020, with respect to signature matching standards was issued in violation of the Administrative Procedures Act (APA)."

"I'm glad the court sees Secretary of State Benson’s attempts at lawmaking for what they are -- clear violations of her authority," Michigan state Rep. Matt Hall (R) said in a statement.

An executive branch official changed the law the legislature had passed, despite the Constitution giving sole power to make election rules to the legislature.

The election was stolen, and everyone knows that.

That's why they are brutalizing anyone who acknowledges the truth. People like Mark Zuckerberg -- who donated hundreds of millions of dollars to rig the election -- are deleting anyone pointing out he rigged the election.

The honest man does not need to brutalize a liar.

It's the liar who needs resort to threats and violence to silence the man telling the truth.

Welcome to the United Soviet States of America, comrade.

Ballots there were to be placed in a bag, sealed by a tag with the number of votes in it, and the total count had to match the poll books. Bags opened, miscount found and several poll books went missing and never found. Nothing. This time around Antrim county votes said Biden won by 5,000+. Manual recount flipped that nearly mirror image. Nothing.

Posted by: Liio100

From the detroit hearings it was clear that this is standard practice. The books have to match the numbers when it goes to the audit board upon first submission of each district, but the books in dem cities are always a mess. This means they just have to accept whatever is presented, and it means there is no way to audit in the future.

That last point was not stressed enough - if the numbers don't add up on election night and you accept them, then that is that. No way to recount or double check, since you don't know how you got the first numbers. So by screwing up the books, you create a systems that can never find fraud, and that is standard practice in our elections in dem cities.

Said he spent five hours at the store yesterday, making sure he saw and talked to all the shift workers who were involved, and ended with, "We dropped the ball."

207 This follows the russian doctrine, which china also uses.

What they developed during the cold war, and accelerated under putin, is to slow roll an invasion based on lies. They did this in Georgia, and Ukraine. In Georgia they claimed that Georgia attacked (through a mountain against superior forces for no reason,) and everyone knew it was a lie, but well what are you gonna do about it? The press reported the lies (since back then the US press was pro-russia and on the payroll.) There were no demands for action, since there was no proof.

China does the same - it is a doctrine of forcing your enemy to doubt themselves. Not that people who know are fooled, but public opinion becomes weak and demands proof. It's like an anti-pearl harbor or anti-blitzkreig attack.

So now the dems are using this doctrine on the US public. wonderful.

There are two keys - first, plausible (or barely plausible) deniability, and second, slow roll the truth to eliminate the dropping shoe. Let the public get the truth eventually and then not responding is the norm and calling for a response becomes unacceptable since "at this point, what difference does it make."

Joe Biden lashed out at Russia in an interview that aired Wednesday morning as he warned Vladimir Putin would 'pay a price' for interfering in U.S. elections - even though the president's own intelligence director concluded the Kremlin did not interfere in the election process. 'He will pay a price,' Biden told ABC News host George Stephanopoulos. 'We had a long talk, he and I. I know him relatively well and the conversation started off, I said, 'I know you and you know me. If I establish this occurred then be prepared.' When pushed on what the consequences would be, the president said: 'The price he's going to pay, well, you'll see shortly.' Biden said he wouldn't reveal exactly what consequences he would levy, but did indicate it is in America and Russia's 'interest to work together' Biden's comments come as his Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines released a report revealing that the agency concluded while Putin did authorize an influence campaign, Russia did not target U.S. election processes in the 2020 contest. According to the assessment, the Kremlin did not make 'persistent efforts' on election infrastructure.

Regarding China and Russia. China's been encouraging a bunch of illegal immigration into Russia. I've long said that their best course of action would be to absorb Russia(avoiding direct confrontation with the US's ally networks in Asia) giving them direct access to the eastern european countries that they've built good ties with. Solves their food import problem as well since they'd then have a reliable land route to import food.

Fair point. Russia also probably knew with Trump that he didn't mean a military engagement or something really foolish - more likely sanctions (there were some) and going after them on energy (which happened, bigly). But they clearly didn't fear something they couldn't handle from Trump, or knew that recalling ambassadors and whatnot would be counterproductive. I'm not sure. But you're right - they are similar events with two very different responses.

Sorry jake, the law left the building long ago. There is no law, only a placid populace that still has food on the shelves when they go to the store.
Eventually, that will become sporadic, and that's when the real "fun" begins.
History doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme. The USA, in Blue states anyway, does not care about the traditional interpretation of the Constitution as we were taught.
More closely, the USA is politically similar to China in 1959, or just post-Weimar Germany about 1935-ish.
A lot of those citizens still thought their countries had a Rule of Law, too.

Now, Putin is getting older, and has had health scares. The leader we need to worry about is the one that eventually replaces him, because he won't have as much to lose.

459 I wish people wouldn't exaggerate for effect.

Yes the justice system at certain levels can suck. Who's fault it that?

But mostly at the lower levels where things really count and there is punishment and recompense things do work on the regular stuff.

It fails when the MEDIA whips up a crowd or some other org with treason on their mind and makes sure to confuse the issue and make any solution sound unfair.

But the courts are run by human beings. Imperfect and sometimes vile human beings. And that will never change no matter what you say or do about our judicial system.

Thing is to create a population that strives to try to be good.

We've spent years watching and doing nothing while the left destroys every institution that can instill the desire for good in our children and did nothing.

When the truth is she ran a stop sign and got t boned by a truck that had the right of way. And according to the drivers kids he tried to save everyone from the car and the fact that some of the kids died fucked with him for the rest of his life. The result is that rather than a blue wave which repudiated Trumpism, they only strengthened it by making the steal obvious. Hence why a bunch of GOPe have decided not to run again in 2022.

545 Joe Biden lashed out at Russia in an interview that aired Wednesday morning as he warned Vladimir Putin would 'pay a price' for interfering in U.S. elections - even though the president's own intelligence director concluded the Kremlin did not interfere in the election process. 'He will pay a price,' Biden told ABC News host George Stephanopoulos.

It wasn't that long ago that Romney (piss be upon him) said that Russia was a massive threat and was laughed off the stage.

Fast forward a few years and you've now seen Russia rise as the MOST POWERFUL COUNTRY in the WORLD!!!!
