Just reported: Brave Chuck Schumer and Courageous Kristin Gillibrand call for Cuomo to resign after everyone else in the world has already done so.

Obviously, they only mention grabbing women by the boobies, and not murdering 15,552 people:

The two put out a damning joint statement saying Cuomo has "lost the confidence" to govern.

"Confronting and overcoming the Covid crisis requires sure and steady leadership. We commend the brave actions of the individuals who have come forward with serious allegations of abuse and misconduct," Schumer and Gilibrand said.

"Due to the multiple, credible sexual harassment and misconduct allegations, it is clear that Governor Cuomo has lost the confidence of his governing partners and the people of New York. Governor Cuomo should resign," they said.

A "crypto art" piece, which I think is made into a singular item by the inclusion of a block-chain/cryptocurrency style signature code, just sold for $69 million.

Digital art has never really had a market because you can only buy copies, not the actual art itself.

But if one and only one item has the code authenticating it as "genuine," I guess then that makes it possible to speculate in digital art?

Christie's caused a stir on Thursday when it auctioned off a piece of digital art -- a JPG file -- for more than $69 million. Now it has revealed the buyer who shelled out a fortune for digital artist Mike Winkelmann's "Everydays: The First 5000 Days."

The founder of nonfungible token (NFT) fund Metapurse bought the piece, Christie's announced Friday. The buyer, who goes by the pseudonym Metakovan, said the piece is worth multiples of what they paid for it.

"When you think of high-valued NFTs, this one is going to be pretty hard to beat. And here's why -- it represents 13 years of everyday work. Techniques are replicable and skill is surpassable, but the only thing you can't hack digitally is time," Metakovan said. "This is the crown jewel, the most valuable piece of art for this generation. It is worth $1 billion."

I'd say that's preposterous but I've been wrong on everything involving crypto so whatever.

Minneapolis attempted to buy protection from rioters and arsonists by giving George Floyd's family $27 million dollars, which is roughly one million times what this lifelong criminal's life was worth.

They should pay the family off in the same counterfeit 20 dollar bills he was trying to pass to diligent shopowners -- which is straight-up theft from them.

People act like the cops just showed up to pound on this guy. No, cops are lazy. Cops were called by shopowners because a large, intimidating man was passing them counterfeit bills, stealing from them, and they did not dare confront the thief themselves.

So they did the right thing and called the cops.

And then rioters destroyed their businesses and have seized control of the streets and land around their businesses.

He didn't die because of a cop. He died because he stuffed a pound of narcotics up his asshole like it was Meth-head Thanksgiving and he was the main course.

And Minneapolis will burn again.

And the media will say: "This is all due to right-wing provocateurs and Trump's white supremacy messaging."

And the FBI -- those straight-shooters who you should trust with your very lives -- will back the media up, because they're nothing but Filthy Dirty Democrat Political Operatives With Guns and Warrants who Will Put You In Jail or Put You in the Ground If You Anger Their Deep State Masters.

High schooler: "If the first quarantine didn’t work, what makes people think the second one will?"

"I mean, I feel for me there is more fear, like I wake up every day and I -- I just hope everyone's like when this is over but when will this be over? We don't know. There is just so much -- there's so much left to question. But why can't? Why are we questioning? We have so much technology, so many resources to end this. And I don't know why we aren't. If the first quarantine didn’t work, what makes people think the second one will? If we get kids back in school the transition to getting life back to normal will be that much easier."

Whoa, someone is asking for evidence from someone wearing a White Coat! Burn the Science-Witch!

Yes, exactly. It's like the way that the 1c British Guiana magenta is the most valuable stamp in the world. It's a crappy stamp, a quick hack job by a local print shop in the former British Guiana because the real stamps didn't arrive on time. It's an ugly, muddy-looking thing. I've seen better artwork done with rubber stamps.

But it sold for $9.5 million the last time it was sold. Why? Because there's only one of them known to exist.

44 In a fit of unwoke SuperStraight activity, I have finished sanding the drywall mud of the front room ceiling; first pass at least, and that is all that most of it will get. A few places will need a touch-up swipe with mud, and subsequent light sanding.

Operating that powered pole sander is tough work. Weighs a few pounds, plus drags an electric cord and a hose to the vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner gets most of the dust, but not all. I found myself sanding for about 3 minutes, getting winded, then would take a five-to-ten minute break. But the worst of it is behind me now.

Sure, they had money, power, and exceptions from their own edicts, but their lives had the same lack of modern technology as everyone else. Their lives could be awfully stratified and subject to all kinds of inquests, inquiries, inveigling, etc. America didn't "invent" the middle class - probably the British did - but we had refined it and made it attainable but for government interference. I would rather be middle class 1985-2019 than royal before electricity.

No, no it's not, get away from the tomb of St. Floyd!

Ehh... I know a lot of people who quit their day jobs to sell digital art. The thing is, what you need is the proper outlet for it, which hanging stuff on walls is not unless you're selling prints with sufficient demand and volume. There is big money in themes, emojis, in-game items, etc, for platforms that support individual sales. The quality and art-snob quotient will improve as the venues for displaying it improve. Think 3d environments for meetings, shit like that.

One of the reasons I believe the United States is increasingly Marxist is this obsession with "class". At any rate, once again Americans only know how to lie. We are taught at school the importance of the individual...well, at least I was in school anyway. But the reality is that Americans HATE any notion of individuality. Everyone and everything must belong to a group, and if you consider yourself an individual? Too bad.

He's doing pretty well. The meds have prevented anymore full blown seizures, although he still has occasional teeth chatter and twitches. The hydrolyzed protein food seems to be doing the trick of sneaking protein past his immune system - he's actually put on some weight. It's day to day, the meds both have mild sedatives and we have to dose him 3 times/day, so he's still kind of clumsy and his rear end is showing a weakness he never had before.

Thanks for asking. We're taking him to all his fave places and enjoying whatever time the meds buy us.
