The Morning Report - 2/25/21 [J.J. Sefton]

nbcnazis.jpg

Good morning, kids. Thursday and as both Angel of Death Cuomo and Gavin Newsom circle the wagons, if they're not in fact circling the drain, the real story is the Junta's throttling voices of opposition via legislation and bureaucratic diktat, aided and abetted by the crony-corporatist sector and, more chillingly, from our colleagues, neighbors and even family members turned into blindly-obedient automaton enforcers of "the new order," to coin a phrase.

Congressional Democrats are demanding to know what communications giants such as Comcast and AT&T are going to do about "the spread of dangerous misinformation." How quickly this country is descending into an authoritarian regime where the government controls speech and the flow of information...

... The hearing was called to focus on "disinformation and extremism in the media." In practice it's a stage for peacock strutting, spin, and projection (a diversionary tactic Democrats are well-practiced in) with the ultimate goal of gaining full control of the flow of information.

The Democrats telegraphed their intentions when [Anna] Eshoo and [Jerry] McNerney assumed the role of prosecutors to ask the companies what steps they took "prior to, on and following the Nov. 3, 2020, elections and the Jan. 6, 2021, attacks to monitor, respond to and reduce the spread of disinformation, including encouragement or incitement of violence by channels your company disseminates to millions of Americans?"

Eshoo and McNerney further exposed their repressive intentions when they asked the companies if they are "planning to continue carrying Fox News, OANN and Newsmax" on their platforms "both now and beyond the renewal date?" and "if so, why?"

Is this not chilling? The Democrats care nothing about misinformation and disinformation, nor freedom of speech. Their objective is to use the Jan. 6 Capitol trespass-and-vandalize ruckus, as well as legitimate questions about the 2020 election, to shut down the speech of their political opponents. They lust for raw political and social power, to rule, not govern under constitutional limits, forever. It is that simple.

As our friends at Issues and Insights remind us, it is the Democrats that continue to lie about the events of January 6th and label/libel upwards of 80 million Americans as domestic terrorists, "white supremacist Christian nationalists" and insurrectionists, hell bent on overthrowing "our democracy." In fact, the evidence strongly indicates it was the Democrats and their black-clad brownshirts of BLaM-tifa with confederates in the Capitol PD that were responsible for the break-in, property damage and for sure the cold-blooded murder of an unarmed, non-threatening Ashlii Babbitt, even as tens of thousands of rally-goers and President Trump himself were peacefully gathered, oblivious to what was going on inside that caused Titty Caca AOC to wet Malig-Nancy Pelosi's girdle three blocks away. "Adolph builds a bonfire, Enrico plays with it" indeed.

So, okay. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube et al were all created and controlled by neo-Marxist zoom-dweebies in just the past 20 odd years or so. One would think that companies like Spectrum, Comcast, Verizon and AT&T - all with a direct lineage to Ma Bell, a venerable, original of American capitalism, would recoil at power-mad politicians seeking to muzzle the citizenry. One would think. In The Godfather Part 2, Hyman Roth boasted to Michael Corleone "We're bigger than US Steel." Today, the Marxist mafia IS US Steel -- and AT&T, Coca Cola, Disney and almost every other name one used to associate with big business and America. But when you look at the C-suites, those in the big chairs have had the benefit of being educated by a professoriate trained by none other than Bill Ayers, Mike Klonsky and their acolytes for the past 40-plus years.

Forget re-education camps. When corporate America, in service to their overlords in the Junta, has got you by the wallet, your hearts and minds will follow.

Of the 1000s of things that can be labeled so ludicrous that you can't believe your eyes, this ranks right near the top. This is not the sign of a healthy civilization. This is a sign of deep, sick madness. Racism cries that have gone so awry, so ridiculous that you pinch yourself to make sure you're not asleep.

46 The universities are the test bed or proving grounds. We rolled our eyes when the lunatics pointed to "disparate" numbers of various groups in prison, or not. For whatever reason, poor folks commit more crimes, and are thus imprisoned in higher numbers. 52 LOL, NYT did a piece on Smith College, and the horrible incident of shocking raaaaaacism that made them get all wokey woke and realize that their campus was inundated with white supremacists.

Some black woman who was a Smith student was eating her lunch in a closed dorm, where she was not supposed to be. The dorm was being used for some summer kid program, and the school's security (all unarmed) had been told that they should report any unauthorized persons in the building, as the kids needed to be kept safe.

A guard spotted the black woman, eating in the room where she was not supposed to be, and reported her. Being black, of course, she screamed raaaaaaaacism!!! She also gave interviews in which she bitched and moaned about how she had been frightened for her life because this guard could have killed her!!! (he was unarmed). She also named a couple of other school employees as raaaaaacists who had been involved in accusing her of "eating while black." These employees had not even been present at the time, and had nothing to do with the incident, but they were still theatened and harassed and called raaaaaacists by the Smith community.

87 I remember when working at a refinery the dangers were, falls, falling objects, gas releases, fire, explosions, H2S inhalation.......now its covid and the daily preaching at safety meetings every f'ing morning about wearing your mask properly. If you do not wear it properly you can be terminated, escorted to the gate and blackballed from the refinery.
I wear a mask that looks like a net that obviously doesn't do shit to protect. Easy to breath through, my safety glasses do not fog up and I can actually communicate to a crane operator over a radio without hearing "can you repeat that". Communication is key to safety, or at least it used to be. Nothing like being in a loud environment thats mandatory to wear ear plugs and having the mask make everyone sound like Charlie Browns teacher. This has caused a lot of problems. Not hearing the right equipment or line number could cause a disaster.
I survived the virus but I'll be lucky to survive the stupid f'ing rules.

--

Oh, believe me, I agree with you there. My confidence in Americans understanding and cherishing their freedom and liberty has taken a severe beating since about 2008. And most notably the past Year of the China Flu. I've really said for some months now that states are all we have left to protect us from what's coming. Maybe we can't individually stop anything (now that elections don't matter), but possibly a united front of states against the federal gov't could. Even at that, I'm not holding my breath. But the Communist Democrats are as close to full-on tyranny as they've ever been. Maybe, just maybe, states will do something about it and people will wake up.

162 Rush had over a year to decide what he wanted done with his radio show when he passed. This week has been a memorial week for the show. I would not be surprised if the plan is to allow for up and coming conservative hosts to be given a week or so at a time on the network and the time slot to do their own content as long as it meets EIB parameters. Rush gave some of todays well known conservatives their big break into national platforms such as Hannity Levin Steyn etc. Rush was generous with his show and I believe that will continue.

That's the thing, though. One central propaganda house couldn't coordinate this 24/365 bombardment of bullshit. They'd quickly fall under the bureaucratic weight that always follows the creation of any agency large enough to perform such a task, and due to various internal biases and oversights would fail to connect with all necessary demographics. Only a multitude of smaller agencies, each unique in their own internal construction and pursuing a common goal - albeit in a variety of different ways - could have accomplished this. What modern media has achieved in the last few decades is a testament to the power of capitalism, probably only rivaled by the industry of WWII.

The only effective defense is humor. Laugh at them. Play games and challenge them on everything so they have to keep changing the rules. Be in control. Unfortunately it's a simple thing but not easy, especially when government is involved.

Corporate wokeism really is a mix of things. And as you and I agree, when C-suites are populated with folks that are 50 and under for the most part, they are true believers. Yes, there are people who don't go along with it but only do so so as not to get firebombed with mostly peaceful Molotov cocktails and boycotts. But most alarmingly, it is the former. We have at least one or two generations of true believers.

257 We have at least one or two generations of true believers.

I think three. The subset of Baby Boomers that are the senior leadership, and largely kicked this movement off and provided the initial training. Those Boomers are a minority of their generation - but their numbers are significant. Millennials - who make up the majority of the woke ranks and are also the majority of their own generation. And the minority of Gen Z that joined in. I hope I'm around long enough to see Gen Z and the Millennials have at it. Gen Z will end up going Pinochet and will make the ghost of Franco blush. It will be glorious to behold.

You'll find Gen X in the ranks of the woke, but their numbers don't amount to a pitcher of piss. Gen X was notorious for not giving two shits about much of anything other than getting a good job and moving the Hell out of the city. Definitely the most apolitical of the bunch.

The rolling blackouts let them keep what was left of the grid at ~60 hertz. If it goes below that for too long there would have been permanent damage to equipment and power plants that were running.

Gen X here. I wouldn't say we're apolitical. We just don't look at EVERYTHING through a political lens. At least we tried to be that way -- and it worked fairly well until we were forced to react to the lefty nitwits from the generations that bookend us, who made everything political. From my POV, it started during the Clinton years, when the House flipped to Newt and the Republicans. It escalated a few notches with Bush v Gore. Then it went to eleven (Spinal Tap reference) with 2016 and Trump.

2020 and today are teaching us what comes after eleven!

I, too, am Gen X. And I'll stand by what I said - most of the Gen Xers I know are truly apolitical. Not low information, simply zero allegiance. We're talking broad brush here - of course there will be individual exceptions. But as a broad brush, I'd say Gen X is just about as opposite the Baby Boomers as two generations could be. Baby Boomers are all about association with a brand - in many respects, its how they define themselves. Boomers identify with their political party, favorite sports teams, Hell - even their favorite brand of car. Gen Xers are a generation of ultimate free agents. They simply don't care enough to care at all.

332 I'm truly convinced that we're at this point - and the generations
are defined as they are - because the radical wing of the Baby Boomers
couldn't find a willing audience in Gen X. So they moved on to the
Millennials - a generation that is, for lack of a better term, a blank
slate. Millennials will believe anything, if you just take the time to
train them.

And then you got Gen Z. I won't be
surprised when Gen Z starts goose stepping, organizing big parades, and
starts herding Millennials off to the camps. Millennials always love
to cuddle up with their Baby Boomer mentors and bask in that approving
glow. The stupid shits best start looking over their shoulders - their
demise is right behind them. And that generation is pissed.

there is a lot of truth in what she said.

As someone who has to convince juries not to award millions in very emotional matters. You have to use every single thing you can. You must combine reason and emotion. You can't reason people out of a position they weren't reasoned into. So the plt goes first and plays on emotion and they start to make up their minds. If all you do is reason, you are going to face some people who didn't keep their minds open. You can undo some of the emotional programming with emotional COUNTER programming. Then they are ready to hear logic, and think.

Sure - I guess, in a way, everyone that learned Communism got it from Marx. Boomers didn't invent Communism, of course. But no generation, once it identified with a brand like Communism, would have ever stuck with it so damn loyally as those Boomers.

And you know, I can see why a certain segment of Boomers did it. I can't imagine living in the society created by post WWII America. Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying ALL Boomers are pro-Marx. Not in the slightest. Pro-Marx Boomers are a minority of Boomers.

What I'm saying is that, as a rule, once Boomers decide "what is what" - they don't change. So once a Boomer goes Marxist, they're Marxist for life. More so than any of the other generations since. Gen X won't identify with anything - that's just not our nature. Millennials will identify with whomever recruits them last. And Gen Z - like others have said, they're the ones to keep an eye on. I think they'll end up eating the Millennials alive.
