Julie Kelly: Feds Keep Claiming It Was an "Armed Insurrection."
And They Keep Failing to Produce the Actual "Arms" Carried During It.

How could it have been an "armed insurrection" when none of the "insurrectionists" were carrying arms?

No Proof January 6 Was an 'Armed Insurrection'

Not one person has been charged with possessing or using a gun inside the Capitol. Further, no one even has been identified as carrying a gun inside the building.

By Julie Kelly

February 19, 2021

Since the Justice Department launched its nationwide manhunt to track down and arrest anyone involved with the Capitol breach on January 6, hundreds of perpetrators have been arrested.

Most face misdemeanor charges for trespassing or disorderly conduct, but dozens are in jail and denied bond for the thoughtcrime of believing the 2020 presidential election wasn't on the up-and-up. The acting U.S. attorney general overseeing the investigation promises to apprehend hundreds more, however, it's been two weeks since authorities have arrested anyone in connection to the probe.

...

Hundreds of crazed Trumpists carrying deadly weapons, the public believes, stormed the Capitol to injure or kill senators, representatives, and even Vice President Mike Pence in order to avenge a "stolen" election.

Most news outlets--as they did with the coverage of Sicknick's death--unflinchingly repeat the "armed insurrection" trope, which can be traced back to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s January 7 press conference. "[Y[esterday, the President of the United States incited an armed insurrection against America, the gleeful desecration of the US Capitol...and the violence targeting Congress are horrors that will forever stay in our nation’s history," Pelosi ranted.
...

When a thinking person hears the word "armed," he usually thinks of a firearm, or a gun. Yet here is how the Justice Department describes the trove of deadly weapons seen at the Capitol that day: "During the course of the violent protests, several violent protestors were armed with weapons including bats, pepper spray, sticks, zip ties, as well as bulletproof vests and anti-tear gas masks." (The zip ties, it's important to note, weren't brought into the building by Trumpists but by law enforcement officials.)

Vests and gas masks are "weapons," now, as far as the feds are concerned?

...

But so far, just two people have been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm--and there’s no proof either man "breached" the Capitol let alone threatened lawmakers as part of a coordinated, armed insurrection.

...

Only one defendant had a handgun on his person outside the building hours after the "insurrection" ended. The other defendant had two guns on his person but investigators don't allege he was inside the Capitol on January 6.

Read the whole thing. She notes the feds are claiming a helmet is a weapon, because the helmet was used to break a window.

This is an occupation government. This is a lying, brazenly corrupt repressive government. It is not of the people, nor by the people, and certainly not for the people.

She spoke with Tucker Carlson about this last night. Video below.

By the way, Brian Sicknick's family say is is their understanding that he died of a stroke, not due to a Magic Bullet fire extinguisher, though the feds continue to block them from getting an official medical report.

EXCLUSIVE: He was the martyred face of the Capitol riot but now mother of hero cop Brian Sicknick says she believes her son died of a fatal stroke - not a fire extinguisher to the head - while authorities won't say a word

The family of US Capitol police officer Brian Sicknick is still awaiting answers more than one month after his death on January 7

Sicknick's mother Gladys, 74, told DailyMail.com her son may have suffered a fatal stroke after trying to defend the Capitol from violent protesters
Initial reports stated Sicknick, 42, was killed after being bludgeoned to death with a fire extinguisher - though those claims were later debunked

Another theory is that he had an adverse reaction to pepper spray or bear spray - both of which contain capsaicin

DailyMail.com has learned that one cop was indeed admitted to the hospital with these symptoms on January 6 after having inhaled pepper spray during the riot

Sicknick, was involved in confronting rioters at the Capitol, but appeared to be fine after the mob dispersed and had returned to his office

That evening, Sicknick texted his elder brother that he had been pepper sprayed twice but felt fine. He later collapsed and died at the hospital

Yet more than one month after Officer Sicknick's death on January 7, his mother says that they are still in the dark as to what exactly caused that catastrophic episode

Julie Kelly was also the first to rebut the left's (and Establishment pseudoright's) narrative that Sicknick was killed by a bludgeoning attack, thus setting in motion the chain of events that would lead to the New York Times, and then the National Review's liberal gimp Andy McCarthy, retracting their false claims.

In this case it was Nancy Pelosi sitting the narrative, but remember the first modern example--when Hillary named a "Right Wing Conspiracy?" And that then became fact?

I know a lot of people (some here) went with the intent of showing support for President Trump and maybe motivating Congress to do SOMETHING about the stolen election.
Yeah, really, fat chance of that happening, with perfect hindsight. They WANTED to screw Trump out of the election, with a minority of people in government that wanted to find the truth.
But honestly, what did people really think would happen? And the Deep State did a great judo move in using our own enthusiasm and populist notions against us.
The Deep State exists; part of it is the permanent bureaucracy, and the corrupt people in it.

69 One of the things about being really good with being "the resistance" and protesting is that you also know what works at shutting that kind of thing down. So the Dems are running that operation: shutting down any resistance or protesting to make sure nobody's voice is heard but their own.

They need everyone who disagrees with them -- the majority of the country's voters -- to feel isolated, alone, and powerless. And this is one way to do it, to punish and frighten people who dared stand up.

82 53 Truck Monkey, actually that is not true--it is still a lie but people find it convenient to argue or be passive when confronted with the truthfulness of the narrative.

But, in general, people that are forced fed a lie are likely to reverse themselves rather abruptly when confronted with evidence that the people pushing the lie are doing it for ulterior purposes.

Lost in the conversation, it appears, is the fact that Trump took to the airwaves (those that would still allow him to have a voice), and asked everyone to calm down and peacefully disperse.

And they did.

Seems like a fairly inefficient way to hold an insurrection.

Trust me those people exist and there is a lot of them. They do not research the news they have only a couple of news outlets that they listen to and have been listening to for years.

They believe every lie the media has told about Trump. They also surprisingly do give him credit for the economic upturn in 2019 but that doesn't balance out all the mean things he's done and all his lies. And even tho they think the economy will get worse Trump couldn't be reelected cause he was mean and a liar. My friend told me that now there won't be as much "hate" in the country. Actual quote.

Everyone can see it. Tons of normies can see it, and some will remain closed to it, while many many others will have it dawn on them that the government is not right in the head. I don't know where the tipping point is, but we're getting closer to it. The efforts at clamping down are not happening because those nitwits are in control, it's because they've lost control.

With respect, I think you're missing the bigger picture. Their ability to spin up any Insta-crisis they want is not a sign of either desperation or good news. The fact that a lot of people don't believe them is good in and of itself, but horrible when you consider that it never *stops* them.

Go back in your mind each year and start recounting the insta-crises they have raised. It's easy because all you have to do is think of what the "news" was that year.

You may surprise yourself with, A. how long they've been doing it, and 2. the irreparable damage done from each.

It boils down to two things. Flex your wrists as hard as you can when they're attached, and then relax them. And also have the strength to torque your wrists against each other enough to snap them.

A guy I know showed me that before YT was a thing. Of course he's a physical specimen, so I don't know if I could mimic it, but I'd try.

The one I invented is just secreting a stout paper clip in reach of your mouth. I used the little pocket on the left sleeve of my flight jacket as a kid. You can get out of cuffs pretty quick that way, if they leave you alone for a minute.

159 105 Jakee308, and when the facts on the ground prove them wrong, they will go after the leaders of this crap rather than admit they were wrong. It is always a convenient scapegoat for people to justify subsequent actions that tend to smack of hypocrisy to argue that they were misled by those in power.

See the home mortgage debacle in 2007-2008, Medicare expansion to long term care 1980's, etc. A lot of people simply do not want to think about the present, let alone about the future.

This is because most people do not have a coherent framework of ideological principles to evaluate what is going on--that is roughly nine people out of ten. They have outlook preferences like the 'hate' reduction where they figure that Trump was a lightning rod and since he is gone there will be no more hate. That is an outlook preference based on the premise that Trump is the variable regarding societal hate. When the leftist auxiliaries beat the crap of him or his family, he will abruptly change his tune. Trump in part was elected in 2016 based on the hate that Obama pumped up in his last term.

There's a point at which enough people have joined a movement, and that's nowhere near a majority, that it forces the status quo to flip, with or without violence.

There was a New York Times article late last year that accused them of racism because they hadn't release enough minority directors' work (Japanese directors didn't count, of course).

They pushed the brakes on many of their plans and started focusing on black directors. I'm sure there's good stuff there, but this is niche of a niche. And then it's become their primary focus.

Add in the fact that they're pretty obviously terrified of #MeToo and won't release something like The Pianist by Roman Polanski (which they're rumored to have the rights to do), and you've got a company refusing to release a lot of stuff they have and could get in favor of appealing to Leftist Twitter.

Difference of scale.

And "armed insurrection" is not "armed" with a knife here and there. Otherwise, you have insurrectionists who are practically not trying.

In a one-on-one situation it doesn't make sense to describe Blake as "unarmed" and so "armed" makes sense.

But it doesn't mean that the same thing applies to an "armed crowd" because one or two guys have a knife.
We've been hearing about an "armed insurrection" not a riot where one or two people had knives.

Tolerance of intolerance is not "tolerance". So they can't tolerate what you think if they're certain (and white about that) that it's "intolerance".

Dolley got caught up in a little local panic a few weeks back.

Some eight year old kid said that some teenagers were driving around our neighborhood shooting kids with BB guns, as evidenced by the bunch of wounds on his leg (a couple dozen of them). His friend verified.

It came out a couple of weeks later that he had invented the whole thing, that his friend had shot him repeatedly in the leg and that the lie was a cover.

Dolley had bought into the first story completely, and she came to me breathlessly about it, afraid for Junior walking all the way home from down the block, his bus stop. Her reveal of the actual story was much more sedate, but I forced her to re-evaluate her belief in any news story that comes along, even with witnesses who swear that it totally happened.

And ace, besides the not entirely semantic problem of the use of the word "insurrection" (it obviously was not, it was disruption and hooliganism), the "weapons" present were those typical of antifa or BLM types. See the former Cap Police chief's (Sund) letter.

Those people showed up while Trump was still speaking, or long before anyone who listened to the entire speech could have arrived on the Hill. Their description sounds nothing like normal Trump rally attendees. Sund says they *immediately* began pushing on police lines and generally being aggressive.

The lies and distortions by whatever one calls these people in power now are breath-taking, but the info to debunk all of it is lying all around.

People just watched summer rioting, burning and violent city takeovers, a stolen election, the changed votes in the dead of night, and finally the inflitrated "breach" of the Capitol, and the investigations and show trials that followed.

They know what always comes next and are terrified that they're right.

305 A story regarding faith that God will fix our problems:

There is a horrible flood, and a man is stranded on his roof. A large piece of wood floats by; he could use it to get off the roof and save himself. He says "I have faith God will save me."

The flood waters keep rising and a inflatable raft drifts by him. The man says "I have faith God will save me." He lets the raft float away.

The flood waters reach the top of the roof, and the man is clinging to the chimney. Two men in a speed boat come by and try to get him into the boat. The man says "I have faith God will save me." He won't get into the boat, and the men in the boat motor away.

The man drowns, and meets God. He says to God "I had faith you would save me." God looks at him and says "I was trying to save you! I sent you a piece of wood, a raft and two men in a boat!!!"

/inaction is not always the best solution

We are past the Left/Right Democrat/Republican split. We are now in freedom vs tyranny territory.

I disagree with Wolf on quite a bit, I'm sure, but I'm comfortable thinking on the big things we are more aligned than either of us would think.

It's interesting to see who is not going along with the progressive descent into tyranny, eh?

Glen Greenwald and Matt Taibbi are two who are not conservative, yet are doing better analysis and honest reporting than all of the NeverTrump "conservative" writers.

377 And as a compare and contrast, the last time there was an armed attack on DC - the British in 1812 - they forced the government out and burned the White House.

That is what as "armed insurrection" would have looked like.
But...everyone knows this. This "armed insurrection" shit is just yet another case of the fascist clique running the country forcing everyone else to say things they know aren't true.

There are seventy five million (75,000,000) adult Americans that know Trump didn't fail in his efforts for a vaccine, Covid relief, or peaceful assembly.

They also know it's communist propaganda trying to re-write the truth.

385 What DC-banned arms did the police find after the 'visitors" were cleared from the Capitol? Any? Any baseball bats, extendable batons, knives, machetes, swords, 2x4's, large rocks, anything?

It would be odd (and insane) for a group to attempt to overthrow the US Government using nothing that even DC classifies as a weapon.

386 Dolley had bought into the first story completely, and she came to me breathlessly about it, afraid for Junior walking all the way home from down the block, his bus stop. Her reveal of the actual story was much more sedate, but I forced her to re-evaluate her belief in any news story that comes along, even with witnesses who swear that it totally happened.

The moral: you have to measure any story against your own experience: how plausible is this story, based on your own experience?

If it's unprecedented, and difficult to credit, take a skeptical view. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

388 89 The tipping point is when the money printers stop going BRRRRT. The game is up once the normies are faced with actual negative consequences for all of this--things like food shortages, TPocalypse v2.0, and getting tossed out of overmortgaged houses and rent-jacked apartments.

"Trust me those people exist and there is a lot of them. They do not research the news they have only a couple of news outlets that they listen to and have been listening to for years."

There is more to it than that. I have some friends that are die hard liberals and that is just how they think. Nothing will ever change that. I am conservative and have several friends who are straightforward conservatives and neither they nor I will change from that viewpoint. We could no more vote for Biden than fly to the moon.

But I also have several close friends who live very conservative lives and have mostly conservative points of view on most matters. But they also loathe and detest Donald Trump, who can do no right in their eyes. They were unswerving Biden voters. These are the ones I find hardest to understand.

399 The story about Officer Sicknick is as disturbing as anything we've heard lately. The government is hiding his medical records from his family, while thier partners are spreading lies that can easily be refuted by those medical records. There should be no way in hell the government should be allowed to hide those records, shit they shouldn't be allowed any access to them, even if he is a cop. Likewise you don't think they passed then on to every dem politician?

Every fuck'in law and act of decency is being tossed out of the window by these sacks of crap.
