I didn't know horses did this. Baby elephant plays the chasing game with a dog, but then gets frustrated because he can't catch the dog. I've been there. Injured sea lion jumps on to boat, looking for help. A few more robotic spy animals: Robot orangutan. Robot gorilla. Robot ostrich chick infiltrates an ostrich brood. In this one, a leopard shows up, and the mother ostrich feigns an injury and flees, limping, trying to draw the leopard away from the chicks. By the way, how fast are ostriches? This fast. Scrappy chihuahua protects kittens from bigger dog. The bigger dog just seems to want to play, but the chihauhau doesn't want him roughhousing with the kittens. Below: Cats: The Butthole Cut. Dakoda the husky's owners are the problem. Zero control over their dog.
A brother has a lab who loves the park, and loves to swim in lakes, rivers, and Puget Sound. The dog will fetch the ball or a stick for hours if it can. But when my brother yells "BOX!", dog immediately runs to the car, waiting for the back to open and jump in the portable kennel. He seldom has to say it twice, and the dog is a family dog first all the way. It's not the dog, it's the owner's failures. Posted by: LeftCoast Dawg at February 22, 2021 08:05 PM (sy5kK) 104

Interesting fact -- The REM album "Out of Time" was so named because the band couldn't come up with a title. They were tossing ideas around but didn't like any enough to use one. The producer had enough and said something like "Come on guys, we're almost out of time." So they went with Out of Time.
One of the names they tossed out was "Cat Butt". True story Posted by: Doof at February 22, 2021 08:23 PM (mZUr4) 174

From WZ. I'm not seeing a downside to his suggestion. Posted by: tcn in AK, Hail to the Thief at February 22, 2021 08:15 PM (okGHj) -- Steve Bannon points out that there are about 400,000 precinct committee member positions in the Repub party nationally. About 200,000 of those positions are EMPTY right now. If MAGA supporters (like us) would just show up and take them, MAGA would control the Repub party. Literally call your county Repub party, attend a meeting and introduce yourself, and seek an empty available position. If they are all taken in your country, offer to "shadow" the existing person, learning what they do, and run for their spot in the next round. Oh, and Bannon points out, BE RESPECTFUL! They are RINOs, not Commies. This makes sense, start from the grass roots. It is how the lefties took over the Demo party a generation ago. Without wasting billions on trying to start a third party. 137 Well aside from the remaster there's also Diablo IV.
Yeah the phone game, which no fan asked for or wants. I don't expect much celebration or play of that. Say what you want, but that shit Tarantino knows how to film a movie. I found it a very long version of a half hour TV show of "what if the Manson kids attacked an implausibly capable super ninja stunt man?" Watching faux Sharon Tate just drive around and do boring things like "watch a lousy movie" for half an hour did not appeal to me. But tastes vary. Just finished watching The Little Things, with the great Denzel Washington, the strangely faced but solid Rami Malek, and the worst actor in human history, Jared Leto.
Not a bad flick for the first hour and a half. Tense, mysterious, sad (it's about the hunt for a serial killer of women), with a lot of very good acting. Went off the rails in the last half an hour, though I can't say I'm disappointed with the resolution (everyone got what was coming to them). Two out of four stars, I guess. Denzel's excellence was a bit wasted on this film. Every time I saw Leto I wanted to kill him with my bare hands. I kept thinking "Is his character really that evil, or is it just that Leto is such a shitty actor that makes me hate the character so much?" I ultimately concluded that the answers to these two questions were Yes and Yes. I really need to find a new series to watch. Posted by: Sharkman at February 22, 2021 08:39 PM (0bGEp) 224

And if the rich money candidate won't do what the majority vote of that chain of representatives will do, they get shut down and replaced with someone who will. He's kind of odd looking but very talented, even better than his tragically dead brother. He plays messed up people really well. Casting was terrific in that film, I was very impressed with Connie Nielsen as Lucilla. She did a ton with a fairly small role and always came across as very capable and slightly frightening. I found it difficult to watch knowing my own son and the condition he struggles with. I found the ending of Joker poor...but it was odd in a certain way - its how Hollywood would figure it would end...a shame after all that honesty that went before. Diablo III wasn't a failure it broke preorder sales records, and first day sales records and has sold over 30 million copies. That puts it in between DII and Overwatch for Blizzard. And DII is way down there. There were problems yes. But they must have not been enough to keep people from buying it.
Yes, there are better topdown ARPGs now and more popular, china's Path of Exile is very popular, grim dawn is popular. Inquisitor is decent if you want something scify WH4Kish. Steam beta Last Epoch is looking good. Torchlight III, now that's a complete failure which is sad because T1&2 were nice and Runic was made up of old blizzard people. It's produced so well I think the majority of people won't realize they are seeing something absolutely top notch. Evening, Horde. I successfully cut a piece of glass to fix a window here at the casa, but the goddam aluminum sash keeps falling apart on me when I try to get it back in the frame.
Got it wedged back closed, so I will leave it until daylight. Will probably have to drill holes and put new tapping screws into it. On a more fun note, I think I have successfully fixed buddy's FIE .22 automatic. At least it popped the primer on a .22 LR shell from which I removed the powder and slug. Wouldn't fire at all before. Literally every male child who grew up in the 70's idolized Bruce Lee, except apparently Quentin Tarantino.
Posted by: Thomas Bender at February 22, 2021 09:08 PM (5IcOw) I think he was just playing around. In the end the movie shows that Bruce Lee was an important part of Sharon Tate's life, training her for the movie showcased in the film. Who cares if it shows Lee being a braggart? I actually love that Tarantino doesn't do sacred cows. It displays his independent streak, despite the fact that he can be a raving lefty idiot. He's not all lefty - I'd say other than his dummy forays into racial identity oppression garbage, his movies mostly have a "conservative" core. And let's not forget that it's statists and lefty douches who did almost all of the historical racial oppressing in question. It's too bad that always gets lost in the shuffle. I think this is the part where I repeat my long held opinion that Tarantino is an auteur nerd who can't get out of his own way or resist the urge to jerk off about cinema history in every movie he makes that's set more recently than 1900.
Posted by: Vanya, Hallucination at February 22, 2021 09:13 PM (gAFsE) Yeah that's another weakness. But art is art and I love what he creates. I don't think you can change one thing about a super creative dude like that and not take some other valuable stuff with it. The clue about how good Tarantino is (to me) is most of the critics still keep waiting for him to "mature". Which I think in part means turn his movies into artsy leftardganda and take away the fun parts. He won't kowtow, and his last movie demonstrated that. The final issue with him is he's definitely missing his original editor, the late Sally Menke. Posted by: ... at February 22, 2021 09:25 PM (jBRLB) 391

I thought it was okay but the problem is that Tarantino desperately needs and editor but is too "big" to listen to one. So his stuff goes on for ages, often with no real purpose. They lose suspense they lose punch, and you lose track of what is going on in the movie because each scene just goes on for freaking ever. Also, he does a poor job of establishing scenes at times. That big scene in Pulp Fiction where the guys go pick up the suitcase with the golden glow in it? I didn't even see there was a guy on the couch the first viewing. I thought Sam Jackson had just shot the couch, not someone lying on it. You as the viewer had no real sense of the layout of the room or what was in it or where. It was so focused on the main characters that when the bathroom door opens you're like "wait, there's a door over there?" Posted by: Christopher R Taylor at February 22, 2021 09:39 PM (KZzsI) 417

Jim Sunk New Dawn Galveston, TX Posted by: Jim at February 22, 2021 09:43 PM (QzJWU) Jim, real talcum powder is made of talc, a silicate mineral chemically similar to asbestos, that crystallizes in thin sheets instead of fibers. Absolutely non-combustible, in any form. But a lot of "baby powder" these days is made of corn starch, which will of course burn, just like wheat flour does. Some lawyer discovered that talcum powder may contain minute traces of asbestos. So California is convinced it causes cancer. I'm thinking this new hyped up focus on diversity and inclusion in the military will have the same roaring success it has had in our schools.
In all seriousness this is truly fucked up. Always regretted I never served but not anymore and would never advise my kids to as long as this goes on. Who would want to risk their life for this left wing insanity and talking points? This is going to result in some serious military disasters Posted by: Ripley at February 22, 2021 09:55 PM (PTDkx) 454

Said talcum powder, like wheat dust in a silo, is very flammable, explosive even in the right conditions. Such as being ignited by a charge of black powder.
