21 The hard left took Virginia, NC in many ways and now GA. It is funny they always said they would take FL and in fact they owned FL, but they were wrong about that.

What we know is the hard left loves to act rich and many from the North from blue collar towns have to move to these states as the Dems ruined them. Not sure where they leaves us but it is what it is.

true. I wish I had the answers but I don't. I know what i have been saying for years here. Get into school boards, go into academia, go into the media and stop the total lefty control. I said spread the federal government far and wide, don't let it assemble in one place, let everyone get some of the federal largesse.

The problem is the left learned how to take over the cities and also take over govenorships. They don't care about enacting certain laws, they care about gaining more power. In the end we have to do better and that means taking over local political bodies, not just showing up every four years.

78 An intellectual rot has overtaken the country. The recommended article, Everything is Broken hints at the source. Essentially, all of American's institutions are corrupt. We don't educate, we indoctrinate. Healthcare is actually sick maintenance. Academics and scientists don't research, they confirm whatever silliness is ascendant. What percentage of movie revenues over the last 10 years have been spent on superheroes, vampires, werewolves, and other things that don't exist? The acceptance of BLM and Antifa, Marxists in origin, by not only leftist politicians but corporations may be the clearest example of how deep the rot penetrates.

Being a premillenial literalist, I see this as helping set the stage for Satan's final one world govt/economy/religion foretold in Revelation. As a patriot and a father I hate seeing what's really coming, but my faith knows it had to eventually. I just didn't expect to be alive to see it start.

87 Chewing on some of the implications of that Sept 2018 executive order this morning. A couple of things stand out to me:

First paragraph: "By the authority vested in me ...including "section 301 of title 3, United States Code". That section reads, in part: The President of the United States is authorized to designate and empower the head of any department or agency in the executive branch, or any official thereof who is required to be appointed by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to perform without approval, ratification, or other action by the President (1) any function which is vested in the President by law ...

4 (f): "foreign interference," with respect to an election, includes any covert, fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful actions or attempted actions of a foreign government, or of any person acting as an agent of or on behalf of a foreign government, undertaken with the purpose or effect of influencing, undermining confidence in, or altering the result or reported result of, the election, or undermining public confidence in election processes or institutions;"

88 We service members--active and retired-- who are yet bound by the oath we took should periodically be reminded that fulfilling that oath doesn't always mean picking up a weapon.

The cure (or cleansing) has to begin at the dogcatcher level--by this I mean LOCAL, it all flows from that. Local gov't, schools etc--all begins here. Something that hasn't had all the attention it deserves because while of paramount importance it isn't attention getting or flashy.

102 One possible silver-lining. Many bright kids rebel
against what they learned in the gov't schools. It's always been like
that, and is so under the Leftist 'educational' system. There are tons
of young people for populist, national reform. Many of them came out of
the gov't skrool system.

Posted by: lizabth at January 17, 2021 07:12 AM (L3Rsz)

traditionally, that is correct. We have a long history of kids rebelling against their parents wishes and the mores of the times. In fact. I was in a college seminar that once made a very good case that the young adults of the 50s were rebels, not conformists. We can discuss that at a later time if anyone wants to.

But what i see today is not just full on lefty conformity, but older generations choosing to bend the knee to their younger betters. This has been proven over a long time and it is very scary and very unlike American history.

So, I saw some random videos of DC last night. They're not new. The security checkpoints are something new and the "jersey" barriers everywhere have been arranged to herd pedestrians one way or another. The closing of bridges is weird. Seems unnecessary. They have mobile cell towers too... unlabeled as to what carrier they are associated with, so I'm assuming they're those "stingray" like devices to catch cell traffic. Some people claim there's no cellular service in DC, others say there is, so.... And then there's the Guard everywhere. Not Capitol Police, not Park Police, Not DC Police. Weird that. One hell of an expense and quite the show apparently for nothing.

I do know I still respect them and they have a difficult job to do. Leftism is everywhere these days and in some ways it is surprising Trump won and some many Republicans won. i say we redouble our efforts but it is time to be much smarter and much more precise. The key is local and state elections. The key is school boards. The left has been doing this for decades for a reason.

i might have said this 20 times now. But The Trump agenda was halted in the election of 2018, not 2020.. Many Trump voters did not show up in 2018 and it was then they could have stopped a lot of this institutional cheating.

115 We cannot count of youthful rebellion, for the most part. The brainwashed youth think they ARE rebelling by being leftist drones. They have been programmed by leftist propaganda to believe the country is run by and for white male racists, no matter what the reality is. It will take a major shakeup for any positive movement, and shakeups are put down with the full force of the military being used against citizens.

119 Like I said, the military is being USED as a prop by these evil bastards in a show of force!

You're right Tuxedo Ted. That gimmick of having NG soldiers lying on the floor of the Capitol Building as if they just ca,e off the line was total theatre.

They are all living in hotels in Crystal City, Pentagon City and Rosslyn in Arlington. They don't need to sleep in the Capitol. They take buses into DC from Army-Navy Drive into DC. Everyone here in Arlington sees it and knows it.

Even if they didn't have hotels, they can stay at Fort McNair, Fort Myers-Henderson Hall, Fort Belvoir, the Navy Yard or Andrews AFB. There is no reason for these soldiers to be lying on the floor other than be used as a prop for the Democrats.

In fact, shame on the commanders for letting this happen. Their troops should not be portrayed as bedraggled and fatigued on day two or three of a DOMESTIC operation.

They cheated on an industrial scale. The GOP was ok with that, the courts were fine with it and the media was cheering them on.

Now, if USPS workers were impacted more heavily with COVID than the normal population, maybe that would explain it. But there are no reports of that.
Mail volume has been decreasing rapidly over the years because people are doing more and more stuff online. Paying bills, emails instead of letters and cards. The USPS is 100% union. So if mail carriers, sorters, etc. are out side with Wu-Flu, can they hire temps that are non-union? For how long? Can they backfill with temporary help? Non-Union?

My first experience in a post office in Chicago recently was one I will never forget. There was only one person working the counter and he was deaf with minimal verbal skills, so standing in a line of 30+ people watching each excruciatingly slow transaction was an experience. Each customer had to repeat their requests over and over, slowly enunciating each word so he could lip read what they were saying. He would write questions to the customer and wait for responses.

And of course, there were NO self serve kiosks like you find in civilization, so you were forced to stand in line to conduct your business.

And amazingly ignorant about US geography. I went to a PO to send a present to a friend who currently lives in Iowa (in in NJ). The box was heavy and the postage was over 20.00. The clerk said I was "crazy" to spend that sort of money, because it would be cheaper and faster to drive the package to Iowa myself. The stupid, it burns.

My father died of cancer. After his death, I raged at God. I said that it was unfair that a good man like him was dead while absolute filth was walking around breathing. I heard a voice clear as day in my head: "Your daddy was ready. Those people are not." That opened my eyes. Shortly after we buried him, mom and I found a suicide note he had written next to a loaded gun. He wrote that he didn't want to be a burden. Just because I've indulged myself with a little bit of hope over a crazy theory, doesn't mean that I haven't been doing the serious things to help bring us out of this predicament. I've been communicating with my elected GOP state legislatures to make it much more difficult to commit voter fraud and this is the number one item on their agenda. They control both houses of the state legislature and the governor is a newly elected Republican, so the odds look good to correct this problem.

I've also let them know that our educational system is producing students who hate this country and that this needs to be corrected. They agree and have legislation lined up to deal with it, too.

And I've already let my GOP US Senator know that he made a grave error when he buckled to pressure over the challenge to the electoral vote.

My head has always been on straight, so enough with the condescension. I'm going to indulge myself with thoughts of Pelosi et al being frog-marched.

The last run from my MiL's in Baltimore to here, I was bringing several hundred pounds of various ammo down here.

322 Wonder how many postal carriers ditched mail-in ballots from houses displaying Trump signs and MAGA flags?

Their website claims they have 500,000 employees. 95% are Democrats, and many of them would be characterized as Activist-level Democrats.

They are not totally stupid. They see exactly who is getting sent conservative mail pieces all year long.

If each one ditched 10 Mail-In Trump ballots, that alone could throw any election.

And those that are Activists would be given 'Walking Lists' provided by The Party which identify each homeowner on a scale of 1-5 for political affiliation.

Term Limits for ALL Federal employees. Four years/life max. And apply Fairness Criteria, so the % of Democrats is equal to % of Americans.
