The Morning Report - 12/18/20 [J.J. Sefton]

tommcinquote.jpg

Good morning, kids. Friday and the weekend is here as well as the 45-day deadline for DNI John Ratcliffe to present his report on foreign election interference. Yesterday afternoon, Weasel Zippers teased a Tweet from Heshmat Alavi, a journalist who covers the Iranian dissident and Middle East beats wherein he reported that CBS' Catherine Herridge was reporting that Ratcliffe told the network his report concludes that there was indeed interference in the 2020 election from China, Iran and Russia. That's kind of a big effin' deal as Polident-Elect Mushmouth might say, but since then, I have seen nothing else either in the usual dreck propaganda channels or from real journalists in the blogosphere. In any case, today is the day that his report is supposed to drop so before I wet myself with excitement, the niggling suspicion is still there that, like Jimmy "PineSol" Comey did four years ago, a litany of charges will be read off but the conclusion will be that the interference had no effect on changing the outcome of the election. Yeah, I know. I'm too young to be such a hard-bitten cynic. On the plus side, Ratcliffe is supposedly an ally of the President but, as has been the case for the past four years, the embedded, untouchables in every agency and department in the DC bureaucracy will work to sabotage any effort to advance the Trump agenda. Certainly Ratcliffe will have had to contend with this, especially with the CIA, DoJ, FBI, DIA and the other intel and LE agencies that are actually in bed - like Swalwell quite literally - with our enemies. Anyway, it'll be what it'll be, so stay tuned.

Meanwhile, in the Hail Mary department, some encouraging news broke late yesterday, in that freshman Senator Tommy Tuberville has indicated that he is strongly considering joining the House Republicans in objecting to the Electoral College votes come January 6th. In the House, fellow Alabamian Mo Brooks has gathered 18 colleagues to sign a letter calling for hearings before the January 6th deadline wherein Congress would certify the EC vote and clear the way for the fraud to be signed, sealed and delivered. No way Malig-Nancy Pelosi agrees to that but be that as it may, all it takes in either chamber is just one individual to object to the certification, which then would trigger debate and, well, you know the rest.

As I said, it's a Hail Mary not from the Jimmy Hoffa end 100 yards to the other end of Giants Stadium but from the Santa Monica Pier, if not the M-79 star system. But, it's still a chance. Why else would walking goiter Mitch McConnell plead with GOP Senators not to do this? The raison d'etre from the talking head propagandists that it would lead to a wipeout in both Georgia Senate seat runoffs is idiotic. If anything, if Perdue and Loeffler actually went on the offensive, it would rally the troops. While shambling shit-heel Chris "Krispy Kreosote" Christie warning the GOP not to oppose the Electoral College results and that "Biden clearly won" is repulsive but it is illuminating. Same thing with the hard-on-with-the-chemically-induced-hard-on Bob Dole, who also hurled invective at our President for not surrendering.

I said yesterday that this was the President's final gambit but I was mistaken. There is one final option for him if this fails and it's nuclear, metaphorically but almost literally - the invocation of the Insurrection Act.

As recently as two weeks ago, before the Supreme Court sided with our enemies and ignored the Constitution in denying the clear standing of Texas et al to sue the rogue states, Lieutenant General Tom McInerney (Ret.) declared we're in the most "dangerous situation since the Civil War." He went on to say "When you coordinate six to ten states, using cyber warfare, to change the outcome of the election in favor of whoever you want, these are treasonous acts." He called for the President to invoke the Insurrection Act.

Obviously, all hell would break loose if President Trump were to do this. The consequences of allowing this to happen would be far, far worse; in effect, the complete surrender of our nation to our enemies, foreign and domestic with all of the horror that that entails.

We talked about the actions of Augusto Pinochet in saving Chile from turning into the hell on earth that is Cuba, Venezuela, and Zimbabwe, among others, today. But Pinochet had the entire military and police forces of Chile firmly behind him. Considering individuals like James Mattis, William McRaven, Stanley McChrystal - who orchestrated the fomenting of so-called "orange revolutions" overseas and is directly linked to doing the same thing here in the wake of what happened 6 weeks ago - among others, that situation is in doubt. At least on the flag officer level. It would be interesting to hear what General McInerney has to say on this. Tinfoil hat on: If he is indeed an ally and not just saying this to get Trump to do something that would have him arrested (tinfoil hat off), I wonder if he knows that the troops are with him.

I know that after every legal and procedural avenue has been all but exhausted - as a result of corruption and complicity by those with the power and duty to stop this - at least 80 million Americans will stand with this President if he is forced to, shall we say, pull the trigger. I will also say that having to do this is probably a half-step below that of ordering a nuclear attack on another nation. But with the nation and indeed the world on a knife edge of catastrophe, his duty is crystal clear. Everyone else has abrogated their oaths out of fear, greed, complicity or some combination of those.

While we still have one chance left of averting disaster with the Senate and House Republicans stepping up and doing their duty, if that fails, this President must do his duty.

Keep the faith, and keep your powder dry. Have a nice weekend.

Abrams is very, very deeply admired in GA by both the left and the squishy right.

69 Mr Jen bought a vehicle from a family member in November and needs to transfer title into his name. That cannot be done online unlike many things involving the Michigan DMV. Benson is not allowing walk in service at the DMV. You must make an appt online to go in to the local DMV. The first appt he could get when he signed up in November was February 3.Three months to get a simple title transfer. That the law says has to be done in ten days. This is the competence of the person running elections in Michigan.

77 The Daily Caller is increasingly useless. Aside from their site being reader-hostile with its ad bloat and interference that long since crossed the line into "not worth it" territory, the articles are less than illuminating all too often. From today's report:
Houston Doctor Says Half His Nurses Refuse to Take the Vaccine for Political Reasons

I hope you don't want any details. Were those objecting conservatives or liberals? I don't know. Were the reasons for objection actually political as opposed to scientific or religious or other factors? I don't know. Were the objections at all reasonable? I don't know.

The article just repeats the headline (the bit that JJ quoted) and then goes in to quotes from the same person about how bad COVID is and that dark times are ahead for Houston. That's all.

This article is indicative of far too much Daily Caller reporting: eye-catching but ultimately brief and worthless.

Too subtle it appears, as you rubes, with your guns and religion and faith in this country and its leaders, all failed to acknowledge your own slave status and continue to believe that you control your own lives. Fools. Cretins. Life's losers who simply cannot understand that this is all for your own good.

Dittos with books. In theology books, I rarely read anything written in the 20th or 21st century since publishers have dummied down the content and many of the authors have syncretized today's paganism with orthodoxy.

Political books are always going to be propaganda.

Even history books are a mess. I can read the works of Alexander Stephens of the Confederacy, who, as an eye witness and VP of the Confederacy would sort of know what was going on up to and through the War Between the States.

Compare that to anything written today and there is so much revisionism it isn't possible to find much correlation.

Mr Jen bought a vehicle from a family member in November and needs to transfer title into his name. This is the competence of the person running elections in Michigan.

you can get a next day appointment at the SoS; you have to schedule it on-line

there are two (narrow) windows to schedule each day at 8:00AM and 12N where they open up the available slots for the next day

they fill up fast; so you have to be on their scheduling page when they open up the appointments

the silver lining is: when you go to the SoS for your appointment, you should be in & out in less than 20 minutes

Posted by: Jonah at December 18, 2020 08:34 AM (CcQHP)

138 Yeah, I am a no-go on the vaccine for at least two years. Why? Because that's how long it takes. As others have pointed out, the problem with vaccines often isn't in developing them (which can be relatively straightforward) but in testing them. Vaccines can cause unusual interactions with allergies, other drugs and other diseases. This is a key reason why they take so long to bring to market - there's no way to hurry up that time because you have to wait for shit to happen and observe the effects.

For the 'Rona, they have waived most of that study time in the interests of getting the vaccine out more quickly. I understand that motivation. But when I look at my risk profile (low to moderate - I am young and strong, but fat with nothing else wrong with me), I think it doesn't make sense for me because it is unlikely to kill me if I get it. People with different risk profiles will make different choices, and that is fine. I am not opposed to this vaccine, I am opposed to this vaccine (or any vaccine) before it is fully tested.

If I faced significant risks, I would have a different tune and would be in line to get it. But I don't, and so I don't and I'm not.

It goes beyond that. The SCOTUS also found that the States do not have a reliable mechanism to adjudicate disputes between themselves. This is a key element of the Constitution and their original jurisdiction. They abrogated it, and in so doing abrogated the Constitution itself and set precedent at the same time.

The Constitution is legally and politically the only thing that binds the Union, and the SCOTUS just nullified it by refusing to let one state sue another according to its actual legal charter. The SCOTUS didn't just end the possibility of redress, they ended the Republic as formed.

187 Patrick Byrne was CEO for Overstock.com, and has spent a lot of money on some experts and some military men with needed expertise on how the steal was done. He offers his team's work to Sidney and any other that can use it.

This link is his more recent interview ... he basically says they "have it all" .. says besides the bulk steal in certain places, there was shaving in red areas so Trump maybe got 65% instead of the real vote of 75%.

Col. Waldron testified two weeks ago that they have the packets and can prove the flow to Frankfurt. Recently one of the black hats admitted under testimony that some of the machines were online.

yes I kow Brian is 100% sure this is false and Sidney and this colonel are dimwits as are any that look at that evidence ... here is from AmericanThinker two weeks ago:

"Col. Waldron's testimony gained added heft when we got to see a declaration from an intelligence analyst at the 305th Military Intelligence Unit (the "Kraken" unit). The declaration has specific evidence showing that, on November 8, 2020, Dominionvotingsystems.com, which is Dominion Voting Systems' proprietary URL, was connected over the internet to Belgrade, Iran, China -- and to "the Indivisible (formerly ACORN) political group for Obama."

Routers keep track of these packet trails ... info is being developed, Ratcliffe is being obstructed/delayed as much as possible by "DeepState" (as Lou Dobbs put it) ... but I think Trump plans to go the final mile. Byrne trusts some of the military, has some interesting info n that aspect as well. Still time to win this and stop the good squads.

can start at 50 minutes to get an idea of what he has ... Epoch times has also interviewed Byrne. Tracy Beanz also did, her house burned down a few days later. Now is not the time to say "oh well, it (America) was fun while it lasted". I get the frustration, and giving up is a coping mechanism to fend off disappointment hangover form too much hopium ... BUT five judges do not get to end America (and we don't know where five really stand).

Baier: I believe they didn't find significant evidence of voter fraud across the country so I can't say they didn't.
______________

The fact that the judges refuse to look at the evidence of fraud does not mean the evidence doesn't exist.

There is an abundance of evidence of the fraud. Statistical evidence, eyewitness evidence, computer evidence, all kinds of evidence.

Some legislator in Georgia tested the ballot "signature verification" feature the other day. He put his own signature through, and then another signature that looked nothing his signature. One was basically an illegible scribble, the other was a name written out, in a clearly different handwriting. The computer "verified" that the signatures were a match. This is just one of the ways that the vote was rigged in GA. The "signature verification" function was set so that nearly every signature was declared a match, no matter how wildly and obviously the signatures differed.

The evidence is fraud is everywhere.

I'd love to agree with the logic that McConnell is "pleading" because it might actually work, but I don't.

I think what he was really saying was that if Republican Senators do that, there will be too many defections to the other side, and it will be embarrassing.

We can absolutely count on Mitt Romney to side with the Communist Chinese, and there's several more who might turn traitor as well.

He wants to protect them from being exposed as traitors, thereby exposing the Republican Party as being traitors to their own candidate.

I'd guess McConnell, himself, would grudgingly vote WITH Trump to avoid embarrassing himself.

287 If that one upset you then don't read about Chris Newsom and Channon Christian of TN, a couple of white college students who were kidnapped from their car by a group of blacks assholes. Chris was robbed, raped, tortured and murdered, and the thugs tied Channon to a bed, repeatedly raped and tortured her over a couple of days, then got tired of her and tried to kill her, shoved her into a trash can, poured bleach on her and sprayed Raid bug spray in her mouth (she was still alive) to try and destroy their DNA, and at their murder trials, mocked and taunted Channon's father and other surviving family members.

But remember, it's blacks who are the real victims in this country!

290 >>"Ms. Daigle cannot and should not be rewarded with national media exposure and the public spotlight," New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell told Dick Clark Productions in a December 9 letter that was made available to the media. Cantrell was referring to the annual Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve show.

"She harmed our people, she risked the lives of our residents, and she strained our first responders in a way that is unconscionable -- during a public health crisis. This is not who we are, and she cannot be allowed to represent New Orleans and the people she willfully endangered." . . .

"The result of her actions was a decision by Dick Clark Productions to pull Lauren Daigle from the lineup and any celebration from Louisiana to be broadcast worldwide. In the long run, this action will not only hamper any efforts for New Orleans to recover from the pandemic, but also every city in the state which offered to host the event, and the state as a whole," Lieutenant-Governor Billy Nungresser said.

"We've just seen the tremendous cost of mindless negativity. This was a wonderful chance to showcase our state and one of our premier talents to the world. Now, it's gone," wrote Lafayette Mayor-President Josh Guillory

Wow. NOLA mayor was pissed that Daigle didn't wear a mask at a church-based protest against churches being shut down, so she not only gets her fired from a NYE show, but gets the show moved out of her city and state.

Petty, petty tyrant. Time to start suing these people -- she had no right to do that, she has no say in what private events Daigle can perform. Enough!

Precisely correct, and Cuomo has already mentioned it when the legislature said they were going for a wealth tax. Now they can override his veto and it seems they are going down that road. It is really time to get out of NY. There are pretty significant tax hikes coming, plus cost of living. They are going after the energy industry so utility bills will also take a hit.

Or when another career black criminal gets shot by cops while threatening them with a knife and resisting arrest. No, those are not local stories by any means. I believe they're simply going to take the path of least resistance, which is to have the Fed cut trillion dollar checks the Feds each year, under the claim of "economic emergency". This will be hailed (like it is every time) as a Great New Triumph of Economic Engineering, and anyone who says that it might not work will be persecuted as a Revanchist Trumpist who only wants to tear down the country.

btw, if this happens, I do not think the stock market will crash - rather, I think the sign will be that it goes to 60,000, then 100,000, then a million as the dollar becomes worth nothing more than the Mexican peso, and hundreds of billions of dollars float around the system, looking for a home.

The federal government already makes massive transfers to some states through various programs. It is those very programs that consume a large portion of federal tax money. That's why you always hear about the ebb and flow of what states pay in versus what they receive back. Congress would need to invent a mechanism to use as shill to simply hand out tax money to states as they are prevented from doing so on a straight up basis. Not impossible, but they would also need to find that money and take it from somewhere else. Again, not impossible since Democrats want to do things like take over people's 401K's and invoke massive taxes.

Take a look at NY's budget. That's what Democrats in Congress want to do to the country.

A scheme like that would probably cause a federal tax revolt in some states.

New poll today from wick.io has Loeffler +2 & Perdue +4.

538 published this poll this morning. It's hardly the news that 538 would like to see.

So all 3 of the most recent polls, wick.io; Emerson College; & Insider Advantage (IA) show both GOP nominees leading, albeit by slim margins.

I think history is on your side with this. Past efforts to form a new party (there have been multiple efforts but only the Bullmoose party comes readily to mind besides the Tea Party) have been uniformly unsuccessful plus you have the need to get to 270 electoral votes almost mandating a two party system.

There's no reason he couldn't be successful at this and frankly it's long overdue. The GOP is where a lot of frustrated Tea Party people are.

I strongly but respectfully disagree. Job number one is to boycott the fake GA runoff. The GOP must be made to understand that we hold them responsible for ending the republic and backstabbing the base.

The Court is already backstabbing us or they would have reversed the steal.

The GOP candidates in GA are criminals, bribe eaters, and backstabbers.

Romney and friends can easily make up the difference of two seats, especially two known quislings.

The GOP has been the lead party in the coup dince day 1.

And the goal of Republican Party (which is playing point man in the coup) in GA is to make you run back to the plantation as fast as you can, shouting "masta, masta, those Dems too scary!"

My brother lives in GA. He keeps getting desperate calls from both campaigns so he is getting plenty of opportunities for cathartic yelling :-P

He has told them quite bluntly many times at this point that he will not vote for any Republican again ever while they are supporting and allowing fraud. He told them that his vote was stolen and he will not participate in a system that not only allows that but where they are denying it ever happened.

My brother is a hard core Republican voter. He has voted in every general election, primary, special election and referendum vote since he was 18. If they are losing voters like him, they are in big trouble.

================

I agree. I could take generations to get out from under the yoke of the Communist dictatorship that we'll have if this fight is lost.

But Trump can't win this alone. Those massive rallies are nice, but the time for love-fests is over. None of the co-conspirators are afraid of a bunch of patriots telling Trump "We love you" or chanting "USA". They find it offensive, and are counting the days until they have the power to have their own Tienamin Square episode.

We need massive rallies in the "swing" states - ANGRY ones. People shouting "Traitors!" People hanging stuff in effigy, and the setting it ablaze. People defying the police. People showing up at legislators' homes. LOTS of them.

The other two avenues will not work. Roberts has apparently cowed the SCOTUS to do nothing. After a week, they haven't even responded to the cases before them. The ruled on (by refusing to rule) on a COVID tyranny case in KY instead, giving another BS reason. They apparently had more important things to work on than the Presidential election. SCOTUS has been rendered completely illegitimate, nd isn't bothering to hide it any more. It looks like even Kavanaugh, who was viscously abused by the Left, perhaps more than anyone, while Trump stood by him, may have turned to the Dark Side.

By the time 06JAN rolls around, the two GA Senators may not even be seated yet, even if they win (their elections are the previous day). I think that makes the Senate 48-48, if you count Mitt Romney as a Republican. It doesn't look like contesting Electoral votes in Congress 06JAN can work either.

Trump still has important "white hats" on his side - in the military, so there may be another card or two to play to affect the calculus. What if he drags a few Congressmen off to GITMO? What if dozens or hundreds of people are suddenly arrested by the military for treason? Might THAT get the legislatures' attention? This new development regarding Lin Wood exposing Justice Roberts is also interesting - and probably a gift from the white hats. I can't predict where that goes.

363 The OTN had the Marty Robbins song "Big Iron", and it got me thinking. The Song is of an Arizona Ranger going after a Badman. The AZ Ranger quickly turned into their own corrupt band of outlaws. They do not have the reputation of the Texas Ranges. I thought of the CIA, FBI, DIA,yada yada yada. They have all these tools, but were prevented from using them. Then Obama let them off the chain. That is what I think the enjoy. They will not be put back on the chain. That's why they are F@#%^ us "We the People" over.

Posted by: Paladin at December 18, 2020 09:47 AM (3YWub)

364 First of all, keep in mind the GOP was once a "third party" itself. So history does not, in fact, say quite what you think it does.

Secondly, to remake the GOP you have to clean out its leaders and functionaries, either replacing them with your own folks or stripping things down to bare basics (preferably both). Like it or not, we would be highly disadvantaged insurgents. Our one real bargaining chip is votes, and if you start with taking that off the table, the entire enterprise is doomed.

I simply do not see how "taking over the GOP" is a viable strategy given the current lay of the land.

366 "But Pinochet had the entire military and police forces of Chile firmly behind him."

I think Trump DOES have BOTH the military AND the police behind him, 100%. Have traitors from the general ranks exposed themselves? Yes. 8 years of Obama took it's toll.

You just have to look at the Army-Navy game to get your answer. On the whole, military people sign up for a GREAT DEAL of personal sacrifice, including the sacrifice of their OWN personal freedoms and the possibility of losing their lives, with the idea that they are defending freedom and the America they love. Everybody - especially them knows that this election was stolen Everybody in the military knows that he has made rebuilding the military, and ending the practice of putting them in harm's way for nothing, a big priority. The military LOVES Trump.

Don't believe me? The only intelligence organization fighting the steal is Military Intelligence, and they have already dropped some info to Sidney Powell, Maria Bartiromo, and now perhaps Lin Wood. The ONLY white hats in the government seem to be in the military.

The police? Seriously? The treasonous coalition has literally put a target on their backs! They have literally said that the COPS are the reason for crime, and defunded them. The police used to be stalwart Democrats, like any union of civil servants. But today? The police LOVE President Trump.

The stubborn optimism and dogged faith in the political process by some is baffling to me. The DNC Globalists, with the tacit approval from certain GOP accomplices in some cases, just took a national election via obvious fraud. What makes anyone think this will not become the norm from here on out, if Trump leaves the White House ? If Biden assumes the Oval Office on 1/20, the DNC Globalists will own the voting process. They will instruct us on who wins every national election from that point forward.

There will be no political path out of what the Globalists have in mind for America, after 1/20, if Trump takes a walk.

(1) It's just a few cops.
(2) The Republican electors have no sanction unless and until the Legislature turns. Until then, it's a political stunt. Besides, they can vote anywhere, it doesn't matter. If I were a cop there, I'd do the same, rather than lose my job. It's not "the hill to die on".

Doing unjust shit, even if your boss tells you to, is still doing unjust shit. No different than if your boss tells you to steal or lie. This is another paradigm that has to die, if any real change is to occur - not all actions by the police are justified. And police doing unjust acts, to keep their jobs, still makes those men and women unjust. They won't stop until we stop giving them tacit support for their wrong acts.

Maybe it has more to do with habit, or denial of the enormity of what is happening.

Perhaps it's kind of like when someone you've know your whole life dies. For a while, your mind might reject certain aspects of that. You might find yourself thinking that you should ask so-and-so something, even thought they're gone. You might find yourself talking to them, even though they're not there. It just takes some time to get your head around it.

I'm all for Trump, and consider the Democratic Electors illegitimate, but legally, the republican electors have no business being there really. You make it sound like they're escorting people into the gas chambers. It's just not a big enough deal to lose your job over.

Who gave them the order, anyway? I thought I heard it was the governor, but she shouldn't have any jurisdiction over the statehouse. I would think that anybody would be allowed in the statehouse, but I don't know how they work that. They can probably sue the governor, just on the grounds of denying citizens access to a public building.

That's why Republicans lose. If it was a big enough deal for a Governor to commit the police, it's a big enough deal for the police to refuse. It starts with shit like this. If any of the eeyores truly believed what they post, they can DOUBLE their money in just 3 weeks(!) by going to Predictit & putting their money where their mouth is.

If the elections in GA have already been stolen by the DEMs (or if such a theft is inevitable), then why not go get the free money at Predictit?

I suspect that not a single eyesore here has the self-confidence to DO that, though.
