Monopoly Google's Monopoly Video Platform YouTube Sends Out a Warning to All YouTubers: If You Even Discuss Election Fraud, We Will Ban You From the Platform

And the GOP continues to defend, promote, and do special immigration favors for the tech leviathans imposing technofascism on the country.

Our policies disallow content alleging that widespread fraud or errors changed the result of a historical US presidential election.

They say that while they have allowed some "discussion" about election fraud when the election was, they claim, "current," now that the safe harbor deadline has come, any content claiming election fraud in a "historical" (past) election is now a violation and will be deleted.

Funny, they never banned anyone for claiming "Russia stole the election" even after the Mueller Report proved in 2019 that no such stealing took place.

As such, starting today, we will remove new content uploaded on or after December 9, 2020, alleging that widespread fraud or errors changed the outcome of the 2020 US presidential election. [Emphasis in original.] For example, we will remove videos claiming that a presidential candidate won the election due to widespread software glitches or counting errors.

Stacey Abrams and her leftwing "journalist" supporters were permitted to continue alleging the election was "stolen" from her due to unproven claims about "voter suppression" -- I assume that by specifying they will ban content about fraud or counting errors, they are stealthily implying that Democrats will continue being permitted to claim every election was stolen from them due to either "voter suppression" or "Russia collusion."

The leftwing theories of vote theft will be allowed to survive and thrive.

How is the media reacting to this technofascist attack on free speech?

Oh, they're very critical of YouTube.

They are critical of YouTube for having allowed discussion of vote fraud for a month. They are chiding YouTube for just banning it now.

But the US media is very supportive of banning all the speech that doesn't conform to their leftwing options.

Some headlines to prove this:

CNN: YouTube waits until a month after the election to act on false claims of election fraud

Note the criticism in the headline is just about "waiting" to impose fascist thought control.

Forbes: YouTube To Finally Start Removing ‘Stolen Election’ Content Weeks After Election Day

"Finally." At long last-- fascism!

Daily Beast: YouTube Finally bans videos from election fraud cranks

"Finally" again.

And the subhead reads:

"TOOK YOUR TIME"

Yes, they sure took too much time in deciding to eliminate free speech rights from half the population of the country.

The media is always the driver of censorship. It is always CNN demanding that Twitter and YouTube and FaceBook censor this content or deplatform this commentator, and they keep running hostile, negative stories until the social media monpolies comply.

Although I think this is achieved by collusion: the social media companies want to censor, but they need their leftwing media facists to "make the case" for attacking free speech before they do so.

Democrats have been very aggressive in demanding that the social media monopolies strip citizens of their right to free speech.

For example, from Endgaget:

Senate Democrats call on YouTube to pull videos with election lies

Four senators sent a letter to YouTube expressing 'deep concern' over misinformation

YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki received a letter on Tuesday from four Democratic senators expressing "deep concern" over the spread of election misinformation on Google's video platform. In the letter, senators Robert Menendez of New Jersey, Mazie Hirono of Hawaii, Gary Peters of Michigan and Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota ask YouTube to commit to removing content with false or misleading information about the 2020 US presidential election and future political races, including the coming, pivotal Senate runoffs in Georgia.

"We urge you to immediately remove all election outcome misinformation and take aggressive steps to implement prohibitions, as other social media companies have done, regarding outcomes in future elections," the letter reads.

That report is from November 24th. And now, with the Media-Democrat Complex demanding authoritarian speech controls and "making the case" for censorship, YouTube complies.

As they always do.

Can't wait for the Corporate-Owned Libertarians to explain to me that free speech is not a right and if I don't like it, I should just "make my own internet."

And I should, obviously, also make my own credit-card payment services, too, because those companies have begun banning anyone whose speech they don't like.

So no one can earn money from speech -- unless it's the right kind of speech that the ruling class technofascist junta finds agreeable.

Speech is a luxury only for the independently wealthy.

Tell me, how many gigantic megacorporations do I need to found for myself before I am allowed to speak freely?

That's all widdershins, isn't it? This is completely backward from how it should work. If you're truly worried about "integrity" then shouldn't your focus be on controlling "misinformation" *during* the relevant period, and then backing off when it becomes merely historical because then study becomes relevant for *next* time?

I mean, it's all bullshit regardless - but this is completely backward from what honesty or reason would dictate.

Trump was tough but he was not ruthless.

He fell for one of the classic blunders, he thought if he could just play the game a little bit better, a little bit smarter, own them via tweet, that he could win, when what he should have been doing is straight up merking people and institutions.

More Vlad The Implaer than Bobby Fischer.

Now having said that, he was largely boxed in and constrained by the coup and Ops that were being run at him from jump street.

114 Continuing the question from last thread on NAS distributions for a repurposed Core 2 Quad PC with 8 GB of RAM.

I am looking NAS distribution recommendations/suggestions, with some/most of the following

- fast on low spec older gen HW
- headless
- web admin
- plugin or docker compatible for Media streaming, automated backups, shared calendars and notes, VPN access, home automation,

One concern raised was lack of performance. By comparison, the well-regarded Synology 4 bay NAS DiskStation DS918+ specs at Quad Core celeron, 4GB Std. 8GB upgradeable RAM, and with its well-regarded SW support, boasts dual-channel H.265/H.264 4K video transcoding on the fly, which may be important to me in the future.

Other items of interest from a NAS distrbution is plugin or docker compatible for media streaming (down the line), automated backups, shared calendars and notes, VPN access, home automation, Synology seems to handle most/all well enough. I am looking for similar level of sophistication.

OpenMediaVault seems to tick most boxes for me. Any suggestions or other ideas?

Anyone interested in turning their old PC into a NAS might find this interesting.

Most of what amazes me about this kind of hypocrisy is not that it happens -- we know how the Left thinks and acts -- but no one even thinks to demand they explain themselves.

See also Swalwell. No one is demanding he explain himself, they just help him sweep it under the rug and move on. Just like Hunter's laptop revealing the family's huge, international grift.

Non-progs can whine and rant about it, but it doesn't matter. They do suppress this information effectively enough that we are powerless to stop it. Only a few can get through now, but if Trump loses. . .?

Hiding behind a corporate name only allows these people to continue to write these articles, without any historical record of their complicity in censorship - which is supposedly antithetical to their ideals.

These articles are just one rung on their quest to climb the corporate ladder. Eventually, these people will be the ones setting the agenda for the news we get in the future.

Just like Mary Mapes, Stephen Glass and Jayson Blair have earned their spots in infamy for their crimes against truth, these people deserve the same:

Kaya Yurieff - the author of the XiNN piece.
Alison Durkee - the author of the Forbes article.
Jamie Ross - the author of the Daily Beast piece.

186 134 Ace, I believe that it's not good enough to list the 'journalistic' entities that post these garbage articles. It's necessary to name the 'reporters' who write this nonsense as well.

This has been talked about for years.

The only way forward to bring the social media companies to heel was to turn them into public utilities, public carriers and public accommodations similar to the phone company and electric company.

But that would take legislation, this could have been addressed when the GOP held the house, senate and WH, but it wasn't dealt with.

And now it will never be dealt with in the near, middle or conceivable future.

219 This is a huge escalation.

For years, Democrats said Bush stole the 2000 election, with his brother Jeb being involved somehow, and the Supreme Court "selecting" him to be president.

In fact, many Liberals continued to call bush "Governor Bush" long after he was elected.

In 2004, they alleged that Bush stole Ohio with voting machine fraud.

Not to mention all the 9/11 conspiracy stuff, etc. etc. etc. all being perfectly fine on the internet.

And, of course, the 2016 election.

The internet is trending in a VERY dangerous direction. This is probably the best example of the "slippery slope" being true and coming true in a matter of a few short years. Keep in mind: 5 years ago, you could find all kinds of literal pro-nazi stuff on YouTube.

Today you can't even even mention potential election fraud and the cases surrounding it without being banned.

America. They feel like they are being punished, which they are.

When someone says that a constitution is only as good as the people
who follow it, they say to themselves 'I Believed in it. I followed it.
What the hell?'

Posted by: Aetius451AD at December 09, 2020 01:56 PM (lmikk)

Americans are not defined by the Constitution, we are defined by the Declaration of Independence. England's government was destructive to our God-given Rights, so we took the steps necessary to eliminate it's influence in our lives. We replaced it with the Articles of Confederation...which didn't work. So we altered and abolished them and came up with the Constitution.

Now, the federal government (whose existence the Constitution permits), and its collaborators in China and big tech, among others, has become destructive to our God-given Rights and we are left with the choice of altering it or abolishing it.

316 Companies should be free to associate with or not associate with whoever they choose. And nobody should be able to compel them to do otherwise, either bake the cake or show the video.

However, the nature of social media means that its only useful and interesting if it is focused on one platform, so its more social. If its scattered over 100 websites, then there's no real sense of social interaction.

And that means that a few very powerful, very rich companies get to control social media, companies which are easy to corrupt, compromise, pressure, or seduce into hard left insanity like we've recently seen. So effectively free speech is crushed by preventing people the platform to express themselves.

The problem is that both of these things are true, and seem irreconcilable.

I do not want the government to have the power to tell these businesses how to run themselves or who they must serve or associate with. But at the same time it seems like a violation of civil rights for these companies to simply censor, ban, suppress, or silence some people based on their politics and rigid religious system.

I am not wise or smart enough to solve this problem.

Yeah, my data is a little out of date, but as of 2015, Microsoft alone had something like 20 massive data centers around the world (heavily concentrated in North America) storing Azure and Office 365 data.

And it's basically set up like a giant RAID array. You could nuke probably 4 or 5 of the data centers without having any effect on the data.

Amazon and Google are even more spread out / redundant.

And, again, I was working with this kind of stuff a lifetime ago in tech (almost 5 years now). I would imagine the number of worldwide data centers has been climbing exponentially.

338 A capitalist walked into a bar, sat down between Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders. Just then the 10 o'clock news came on. The lead story was of a man on a ledge of a skyscraper preparing to commit suicide by jumping off of it. Bernie looked at the capitalist and said, "You think he'll jump?" The capitalist replied, "Yep. I bet he will."

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie both shot back, "Well, we bet that he won't." The capitalist put 10 bucks on the bar, said, "You're on." Just as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders placed their money on the bar, the guy did a swan dive off the building. He took a plunge toward room temperature. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie were very upset, bitterly, bitterly tried not to hand their money over to the capitalist. They didn't want to do it. They felt somehow they had been cheated, screwed, tricked.

With a slight smile, the capitalist said, "Look. I can't take your money. Keep your money. I saw this earlier on the 5 o'clock news, and I knew the guy jumped. It's the 10 o'clock news. It happened earlier today. I've already seen this." Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez shot back, ...

"Well, we saw it, too, but we didn't think he'd do it again."

Me neither, which is why I don't like the idea of *new* law for this. Use existing antitrust law and break them up. For something like Twitter, just allocate users across the new daughter companies' platforms, say 15% to each of them.

Now, this breaks social media. Social media depends on network effects (e.g., you have a monopoly or you fail) and so a breakup won't work. It will touch a wave of new platforms, eventual consolidation, and you will end up precisely back where you started.

Then you can break up the new winner the moment the become abusive in any way. Let the process repeat itself.

Because of the network effects, I don't think social media suppression and perversion are solvable problems. The alternative, then (in my mind, anyway - I am sure there are others) is to smash them to pieces whenever they become problematic and start abusing their positions and let the process repeat itself.

How about if I put up a video discussion nothing but all the uncontroverted problems with the various elections (the USBs appearing and disappearing, people not being able to read the file structures on the USBs, the 60,000 votes not uploaded in GA, Coffee County saying it could not explain the discrepancies, the 71% of precincts that could not be reconciled in MI, the insane race in NY state where 55 ballots were suddenly found and then poof another 12 were found in a drawer)?

None of that is fraud. Those are factually true statements. Will that be removed?

Corporate headquarters for these companies is all public information.

But they don't keep their data there.

As I said, they have dozens (probably hundreds at this point) of decentralized data centers, private fiber connections between them (which the NSA infiltrated, as per Snowden), and a brilliant system of diffusing the data everywhere so that absent a life-ending meteor strike, that data will never get lost.

There is no law against shouting "fire" in a crowded theater.

There are laws against inciting violence and public disturbances and things along those lines.

So if you said something that caused injuries, you could be hit with a "contempt of cop" charge or possibly a conspiracy charge.

It has nothing to do with free speech, as we think about it. The justices were just saying "you can say whatever you want, but if you say something is the impetus for criminal activity, you can be charged for THAT crime."

Because the first example has been proven to be true, and all of the others to be false.

At one point in human history, you couldn't talk about alternative theories to all of those "known" truths, sometimes on penalty of death.

And yet, each of them is now known to not only be false, but we shake our heads and lament that anyone ever could have been so ignorant as to believe them in the first place.

And we look with horror upon those who suppressed the truth from coming out.

from UK Daily

An emotional Idaho health official had to abruptly leave a Zoom meeting where they were voting on a local mask mandate after her 12-year-old son called to say dozens of armed anti-mask protesters were surrounding her home and banging on the door.

Ada County Commissioner Diana Lachiondo (left) tearfully interrupted the Central District Health's online board meeting on Tuesday night, saying that the anti-mask protesters were outside her home.

Lachiondo, who was at her office at the Ada County Courthouse, initially excused herself so she could call police.

She interrupted again just moments later saying she had to rush home to be with her son. The board had been expected to vote on a four-county mask mandate in Idaho's most populated region.

The Boise Police Department later confirmed that anti-mask protesters had gathered outside at least three board members' homes, as well as the health department building (right), while the meeting was underway.

Yes that's the correct approach. There's a white paper written by a Ron Coleman (LikelyhoodOfConfusion, a crust veteran of the blogosphere and an expert in this area) to the effect that 230 will not have an real impact and that right course of action (that he argues in another part of 230) is to simply require them to act in good faith neutrality towards speech.

That's the right approach but of course it depends on the ones who count the votes I mean the ones who control the DOJ.

People looking at your friends and family members accounts in order to snoop.

It is good for other information like finding a dog through breeders or rescue groups as they post there before their webpage. I am using a friends Facebook for this very reason. Actually she is sending me the info when it gets posted and I send her the questions I want asked.

Peaceful. Protest. (would add the word "mostly", except there were no reports of violence)

Yes, Boise area is indeed blue-- a pockmark upon Idaho-- has been for a while.

Good for the protesters! Torches and pitchforks FTW.

606 BTW, Google / YT might want to (re) read Trump's September 2018 EO...if it's proven that they're acting as a foreign agent (hello PRC), they're f*cked beyond words.

And yeah, it now becoming obvious why PDT send 500 extra troops to GITMO.

Good luck with that. Not even Sweden could pull it off. And think of that. Sweden isn't a Third World country yet.

Agree. But still a criminal.
Posted by: J.J. Sefton at December 09, 2020 02:27 PM (s2VJv)4

Yep. There were many pathways for Mr. Snowden to take that would have made him a genuine hero. If he did the right thing, his money would not have been good in any bar or liquor store he ever entered in America, for life.

But he took the treasonous route. Fuck him.

It's difficult to quantify, digitally identify, or prove sarcasm.

610 47 To all the shoppers here... have you noticed that things have NOT gotten back to normal at the stores? There are still shortages of random things, and now, due to bankruptcies of places like "Kmart" and "Sears," our selection of products is severely limited.

They have not been able to fix the supply chain in 9 months. Why is that? Is it because they don't want to fix it?
Posted by: Shibumi, praying for America at December 09, 2020 01:42 PM (ZCiJZ)

There are still bottlenecks.

Supply chains need people to run them, and many nodes - DCs - are sending people home for Wuhan Flu for two weeks at a time. If you don't have the people to move the goods, you are screwed.

This isn't purposeful by a long shot. If you don't get your goods to market, you don't make money. Take it from one who has been in the business for longer than he cares to admit.

612 re Texas secession, there is a theory, held mostly by if not by most Texans, that Texas is not bound to the Union in the same manner as the other 49 states. The theory hinges on Texas' one time status as an independent sovereign nation, whereas other states were either colonies of another sovereign who became states of the sovereign USA or states created by the sovereign USA. No true independent sovereignty. Texas' full sovereignty is in abeyance, by agreement with the USA. Texas can reclaim that sovereignty as it sees fit. Other states were never truly independent sovereigns.

613 Back in 2015-16 or so, I pointed out that the dude who tried to stab the mayoral candidate in Cologne who later presided over the New Year's rape fest, seemed batshit crazy, but was really just ahead of his time.

WTF. I don't think I could hate my government any more than I do right now. I have always know that people within our government are money grubbing fucks which I guess I allowed because they basically left me alone. But now, I will be hard pressed to respect any of them.

615 Ace, please put up a post promoting new platforms and alternatives to YT and FB.

There is Odysee, Bitchute, Minds, Gab, Locals, Rumble and more.

Here are some great content creators to find and follow on these sites:

Razorfist, Styxhexenhammer, Steven Crowder, Mark Dice, Awaken with JP, Ryan Long, Info Wars, Computing Forever, Stefan Molyneux, Akkad Daily, Memology 101, Timcast, FreedomToons, JLongbone, Hodge Twins, Aydin Paladin, Unsafe Space, The Quartering, Brandon Tatum, Rubin Report... If you can think of others, please suggest more.

And if you have favorite creators on YT that are not on these platforms, urge them to create channels on these other platforms. Thank you.

Ace, please put up a post promoting new platforms..."
Please. Pretty please. Bongino gave youtube the double barreled middle finger solute today. He dared them, he begged them to ban him. Then he put up content they declared banned.

youtube has nothing but a channel. They have no content. Bongino has content and is one of the most watched internet shows. He invested in it and puts his stuff on Rumble. Rumble viewers for the first time beat youtube viewers. This took 4 months. "You can't win, Vader. If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine."
A youtube ban of Bongino will only invoke the Streisand effect. Watch stuff on Rumble. Make google/youtube go the way of AOL.
