My former hospital came down with many staff cases of wuflu, hundreds, but I have yet to hear of a fatality. And some of the staff is medically compromised and quite old (nurses work into their 80s at some of these places).

goat fajitas are great if made well. Cabesa de Cabrito in Mexico is not as wonderful. The key think is to scoop out the brains and put them on a tortilla. I try to be open to new things, but that was a bridge too far. And seeing the goats hanging in the foreground was not the best appetizer.

VIC you should be able to get home healthcare PT for about 4 to weeks as if you end up back in the Hosp for the same issue Medicare does not have to pay.

I wasn't going to go at all but the doc said it would only be for 5 days so I went. When I got there they said 7 weeks. I told them to forget that sh*t. What they were going me was 90% useless, I can do a lot better at home myself after I am out of the recliner for good.

Vic if you continue exactly what the PT tells you to do at home it will be a big help to you. Do it on the schedule you are told be it daily or every other. Ask questions on how to increase exercises if you are able to.
I had ACL surgery about 10 years ago and did over and above with Pet's blessings. That got me back into shape quickly. Now realize your older than I was so that increase will be harder but anything you can do will be saved instead of going down hill.

Not to rag on third world types, but there is a reason why that part of the world is a shit-hole. They have had a few more generations to really get the sloth, corruption and apathy down to a science to where everyone sits on their ass talking and rarely ever doing.
So it is part of their culture and custom to not get anything done but talk as if things are coming together.
Unfortunately, in the former United States, we are catching up to them. There is a huge work-ethic difference in the current generation and previous ones.
Perhaps it has more to do with cynicism at an earlier age, but this generation hates work too. When it comes to crunch time, its easier to bitch about management's screw-ups then leaving to engage in the far more important "Personal Time" - which just means screwing off more on social media and Netflix.
Back in my day, the professional office was a labyrinth of hard wall offices with people allegedly doing work. Last year, its all open, with large sections of the office dedicated to leisure. Why should bean bag chairs and video games be in any office environment?
Now, of course, there is a lot of remote, and quite frankly more and more people require supervision.
Then the decadence of this generation makes those who are employed override sales and management decisions on what kind of customers and clients they should engage. Its outright rebellion at a lot of shops. So if Woke Americans won't even do the work, or worse, sabotage it, then why not bring in someone who will do the work - albeit in a lazy, half-assed fashion.
So I get why H1B demand is sky-high. Unfortunately it just keeps tearing down our cultural adhesion already under massive attack by our own government in a myriad of ways.
And though this sounds way too simplistic, the root of the problem, other than just human nature, is that government has imposed most if not all of these problems we have to respond to in slightly better patchwork ways.

Interesting thing about masks at the rally. When we were standing in line to get on the bus to go from parking to the venue, they were telling us you needed a mask to get on the bus. There were vendors working the line selling masks for $2-$5. In the line about 80 percent were masked and 20 percent not. I got on the bus with no mask, no problem.
Once we got to the venue, same deal, vendors selling masks and saying you need one to get it. When they took my temp they gave me one that went straight in my pocket. It never went on my face the whole time. A lot of people once they got in removed theirs.

Guy I work with has had antibodies for months. We just can't figure out when he got them. I have no exposure - even though I ride hours with him in a truck and eat all my meals on the road with him. Its all bullshit. All of it.

It will take you 100% longer to get 'out of the recliner' if you don't do PT.
If you don't want to go into the PT place, then get home PT care. Tell Medicare you have no way to get to outside PT. Did they at least give you exercises to do at home?

The high point of the rally for me was when the water line broke and flooded the lower part of the security check in area. They stopped letting people in and packed up two of the walk thru metal detectors when I was about 20' away from getting in.

Another observation at the rally was there were a lot of Chinese people there handing out copies of Epoch Times and passing around petitions against the CCP. What those petitions were going to do against the CCP I don't know but I signed one anyway because they were so nice.

BUT as a general policy, it may be wrong for several reasons. The contagious will know they are sick and should stay home. They will spread inoculum in other ways ... rub their face, then they spread it by touch. And people wearing a mask feel safe, but touch every door handle the infected touched, then they adjust their mask and rub their own eyes, nose, etc.
Other physical downsides to the mask for the healthy, but the social cost is large (and is probably mostly just obedience training for the plebes)
Covid has been said to be spread by longer and closer contact ... so whole families tend to get it, and recover ... and the close contact is why it spreads in nursing homes, even thought "professional" health care workers are better at mask/glove procedure than the general public. ... it still spreads past their safeguards.

on the 5th and this time I'm going to take a picture of the ballot that
the machine prints out. The last time I looked at the ballot before
putting it in the scanner, but could not decipher my votes from just a
glance.

The question with the tabulating machines is: "what weight is being applied to the vote" if a conservative vote is only .9 of a vote, while a leftist vote is 1.1 votes, the election is obviously rigged. Unfortunately weighting of votes is a "feature" on all of the tabulating machines, not just Dominion, and we have no way of knowing what weight is applied to votes for various candidates. Running paper ballots through a tabulating machine again would give the same weighted result. Only a true supervised hand count of the ballots, with no tabulating equipment involved, would give an unweighted result.
That "feature" has been in the tabulating machines since Chavez stole his election in 1998. It is how he stole his election. There is zero reason other than fraud for a weighting feature in a tabulating machine. Tabulation is purely an integer addition operation. And yes I know about "proportional voting", that can be handled by integer tabulation also, the numbers are simply 100 times bigger in the tabulation to get a % record of each of the proportions. Floating point vote storage is only there for purposes of fraud.
