Republican Legislatures, Which Colluded With Democrats To Flood The States with Unrequested Mail-In Ballots and Turn Down All Verification Procedures to Zero, Now Say They'll Conduct Hearings on Election Integrity

Trump's lawyer Jenna Ellis is hailing this as a victory, but I don't think it is.

The gutless, brainless Republican Party once again ran like panicked cows when the left started making shrieking noises again. The left constantly uses the Fake News Media and Fake News Social Media to start panics, and to force people to act without thinking.

That is the point of these panics: If you had time to think about it, you'd have time to ask questions, and the left does not want that. (And increasingly: The left will not tolerate thinking or question-asking.)

So they panicked the stupid, heartless, gutless Republican cattle into yet another stampede, this time towards dialing all voter-integrity protocols down to zero. "If it saves just one life, then an Open Invitation to Widespread Massive Election Fraud will have all been worth it."

I have thought we were going to lose since September, when these fucking idiots rushed headlong into acting as the Democrats' eager accomplices in vote fraud.

They always do this. They always go along with the media's "Don't think, just do what we're screaming at you to do!" phony panics.

So now, after a coup has been successfully carried out, NOW they'll start asking questions about whether you should blind-mail millions of ballots to every person, living dead or canine, in the state.

They will never learn.

So they will never win.

I'm just getting kind of fucking tired even pretending this party has any interest in actually winning.

At some point, you stop having any interest in a team that is not just a group of perennial losers, but which seems to have fetishized losing as some kind of moral act.

So Jenna Ellis says the Republican legislatures in several key states will look into electoral issues.

Will they be questioning their own complicity in this coup?

No, they won't?

Then this is just more Failure Theater from the political party that produces nothing but Failure Theater after Failure Theater after Failure Theater.

I think it's time to leave the GOP and form a new party.

One without a culture of constantly giving in to every demand made by their (alleged!) political enemies, and then acting surprised when, Whoops! Whoopsie!, they've failed yet again.

Gee, who would've guessed that constantly giving in to every rule-change demanded by your enemies would result in a nigh-unbroken string of defeats.

Sun-Tzu has some advice about taking the advice of your enemy:

"Don't."

By the way: These cretins continue to do everything the hostile, leftwing media demands they do, while ignoring everything that (formerly?) friendly, rightleaning media, such as this blog and many others, tell them to do.

Why should we support you when you continually demonstrate you have nothing but naked contempt for actual conservative supporters?

So these weasels are NOT going to let this nonsense with mail in ballots and all that affect THEIR races.

I think it's time to leave the GOP and form a new party.

I go back and forth on this. If Trump were to announce that he hasn't decided whether or not to run in 2024, but is basing his decision on who the other candidates are on the GOP side, I think it would be enough of a threat to force them to appeal to the Trump supporters in the party, which is leverage for gaining concessions over the next four years on issues such as changing the election laws in swing states.

On the other hand, fuck those guys. Burn it all down.

Honestly, the best time to do it is after the Jan 5 election. If the GOP holds the Senate, then there will be some measure of pushback against the worst excesses of a Biden/Harris administration, and that may cause further rifts on the left. After he leaves office Trump should announce that he is leaving the Republican party and forming a new party. Focus on setting up local branches and running candidates for local elections and beating vulnerable Republicans and Democrats.

40 This is going to be just like all the Congressional Hearings, when McConnel and Lindsay and Trey Gowdy KNEW - and we now know what all the Secret Info which THEY HAD SEEN was, they all KNEW it was a complete and total fraud, and all they did was to conspire to make sure that Nunes couldn't talk about it - he tried to tell the truth, and they sandbagged him every way possible.

This is being done so they can say to us, the stupid idiot rubes, that "hey we tried! look we had hearings!!! Nothing we can do!!!"

I think I feel what you're feeling, Ace - I hate the Left for cheating, but it's what they do, it's who they are, we all knew it was coming because they told us. What really, really burns, what I really hate, is that our leadership sold us out completely, all the way down the line. They were in on it - they are in on it now. Trump is the guy who actually believed in all the "Schoolhouse Rock" propaganda the left churned out in the 70s - about rule of law, about saluting the flag, about respecting LEOs, about believing that America was a wonderful, unique country, the "last best hope of mankind."

Like Catholic clergy who think you're a dumbass rube if you actually believe in Jesus, the GOP thinks you're a dumbass rube if you actually believe in any of the tripe we were fed as kids. Government is a rampaging cuttlefish devoted to accreting power and money. Law enforcement is there to keep you in your place as a Metropolis-like homunculus, toiling endlessly for the Upper People.

Trump wanted no part of that. He wanted constitutional government and a GOP that believed in the American Dream. Of course they want him gone.

I still stand by my prediction that not only will Stinkfinger take the oath of office with the GOP standing by grinning stupidly, Trump will be Epsteined within a year of that day.

YMMV, of course. As I said before, I'm just a dumbass commenter on a blog.

I've seen a few denizens of the left blathering on about "Trumpism" and "deprogramming people from Trumpism," blah blah blah.

They just don't get it's not "Trumpism" per se, President Trump was voted in, because the average American is tired of business as usual in Washington.

Endless wars, endless bailouts, fiscal insanity, open borders, coddling Muslims and shipping millions of jobs to China rather than trying to make the US competitive.

Arguably, PDT was so incredibly successful on so many fronts, the Deep State and tech oligarchs decided they couldn't afford to allow President Trump to continue to succeed. So, the powers that be decided since that, since they are above the law, to go ahead and steal the election right in front of the American public.

And here we are.

The weird thing about the GOP is the apparent guilt they feel at having a victory. It's like they imagine the left is some little kid who's ice cream fell out of their cone, and it's OUR fault that fucking happened.

They actually get indignant about Trump saying "you'll get sick of winning" like this really is a bad thing. It's not a zero sum game you fuckwits. But it is the way the dems play it. When we win, everybody wins. We just saw that for 3 fucking years.

When the dems have the ball, they mean to make us suffer, and anybody else is just fucking collateral damage.

We need to get down and get dirty, we can't snipe at these rats down in the sewer unless we get there with them. If there's anything left in 4 years, or even 2 if a new party is formed, I think there would be a groundswell of people from both sides sick of the status quo. This will definitely be exacerbated if Biden's crew starts dropping bombs again.

Even Governor Katshit (Kasich) of Ohio fought hard and went to the mat on purging voter rolls. You can always argue they should have done more, but it's sort of like blaming the person who got robbed that they should have had bars on their windows and it's really their fault.

The real blame is Democrats, inner city machines, judges that know what's going on but want it to continue, donors like Soros that have bought all the Sec of State offices.

I disagree in part. Through the 80s into the mid-90s there were real differences.

And then the left forced Newt Gingrich and Bob Livingstone to resign and got Dennis Hastert, who they knew was a pedophile, promoted to Speaker of the House.

And since then it has all been failure theater. Because blackmail works.

155 Except that the laws that were passed, like days before the election in PA for example that subsumed the Legislature's power by the Executive will weigh heavily. Alito and at least 3 other justices are not amused. We shall see.

Posted by: J.J. Sefton at November 24, 2020 06:42 PM (s2VJv)

The court's integrity is squandered if they don't slap this shit down. SCOTUS will be proven to be toothless.

Our system is designed to be adversarial in nature: all sides fight to sustain their prerogatives and powers and to prevent the others from encroaching. Instead we've accepted the idea that everyone should somehow get along and "find common ground" and all that bullshit. The result has been horrendous. Instead of trying to be non-political, and thus non-controversial, SCOTUS would be far better off saying, "Fuck you, we're an equal branch of government and we're going to act like it."

Oh, many state and local governments have always been rotten. Maybe most. But the point of subsidiarity is that each disease is localized. But now it's spread throughout the system. And one thing the Left can produce is political cancer.

Too late now, but I've long thought that it should take years before you can change your voting address. Sure it would've meant I'd still be voting in VA. But it would allow people to get acclimatized. It really is true that most people tend to vote like their neighbors.

Actually, maybe we should always vote in the place we first registered. Ugh! I'd still be a New Yorker. (But Lawn Guyland would be redder.)

How does whopping, record-smashing 80 million votes translate into only 50% of the vote?!?!?

It makes no sense!

It's so obvious they kept feeding the machines with ballots until they "won" in PA, MI, WI, GA, NV, and AZ, etc.

I'm on the fence. I think, based on his energy levels now, that he'll still be more than spry enough for a campaign. I doubt he'll be doing five campaign stops a day, but I wouldn't be surprised if slowing down a bit made him more cutthroat. And I like that the threat of him running would probably keep the Jebs and Mitts and Marcos away.

Nope. Trump has not changed the party. It has been disloyal to him on virtually everything other than judicial appointments. It is in no way Trump's party. On our current trajectory, he is gone come January. And conservatives are going to continue to vote for the GOP despite its perfidy. So no meaningful price will be paid. No change will be made. If this election fraud stands, then we are no longer bound by our Constitution.

The last 20 years or so has seen the destruction of the rule of law, to the point that, if you're on the right side of the political aisle, there are no consequences.

There should be jail time for a fraud this massive, As in a couple of hundred people tried, convicted and put away for 10 years or more.

Instead, we're going to get hearings, and, yay, some republicans are in office.

So what? If there's no rule of law, any more, none of it matters.

First, they'll arrest anyone who tries to coordinate this - and they'll find a law to claim you broke.

If somehow the movement survives that they'll just start picking and destroying individual people and covering it in great detail in the FNM to install terror. Joe Smith was a successful small business owner....until he refused to pay his taxes. His wife left him, and took the kids. The government took his business and now his house. And...he killed himself. How...sad.

357 I resisted, Lord knows, but now I'm at the point that in America Right v Left is a false paradigm.

It's We the People vs Power.

I will not stand for it. At this point, whatever I can do to fuck up The System, I will do.

I'd rather not be alone, but if it takes one regular guy to say "enough" and be the first to fall in defense of our rights for the message to sink in for everyone else, I volunteer.

The real hurdle you have to get over is the remedy.

What do you do with thousands of envelopes with incorrect addresses?

You can't match them up to actual votes. You have to ask the court to say that the whole group - in this case, mail in ballots - has to be thrown out. And there are millions of good ballots in that pool. Caused by this crazy wacky Rona thing.

The courts are going to wind that back?

No, they will not throw out millions of ballots because you can't verify tens of thousands. They just aren't.

There are 75 million patriots who aren't going to take it, and increasingly realize they have nothing to lose by fighting back.

The Swamp intends to erase us. The Chinese Communists plan to erase us.

Trump's presidency was created by a vast reservoir of patriotic sentiment, not the other way around.

Why - if people want to be free - do they constantly support the entities that blindly support the political edicts that oppose them ? Why do people that want to be free continue to give government more tools to make them less so ?

It's pretty straightforward. If Trump got substantial crossover voting and recovered the 2016 losses, 70-75m is plausible. But then you've got something like 20m votes unaccounted for showing up for Biden to hit 80m.

If you look closely at where the anomalies are, in the states of interest is probably somewhere like 3-5m in fraud. That's still a huge number of unexplained, wtf did these voters come from numbers.

And none of that answers the question. If Joe Biden can 'get' 80m votes out of a pool of only around 153m registered eligible voters, there isn't a Republican candidate that can beat him.

493 I love the sound of a 75 million manned new party, but good will it do? Our only means of fighting back and our right to govt by the people, for the people and of the people clings to life by a thread.

The founders told us what must be done. The founding documents talk about multiple rights, they're mentioned repeatedly. Those brave, brilliant men only assign one duty to us...

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.--

That's where we stand today, crushed under the hobnailed boot of despotism. Dictats on who and how many relatives can celebrate Thanksgiving, who can operate their business and who can't, the obvious double standard in who can ignore these dictats and who is fined, put out of business and punished.

The entire govt is complicit in the depredations on we the people. DOJ, FBI, DOS, USPS, IRS, CDC, INTEL, and the fucking GOPe.

I trust PDT and maybe a handful of his appointed associates, a few of the Freedom caucus, that's it.

DC delenda est. Sack it, burn it, no not one brick atop another, plow the ground and salt it so nothing ever grows there again. We can warn our children and grandchildren of the evil that grew there while we slumbered.

We've got fairly specific figures in some cases.

For example, Wisconsin has 100k absentee ballots that weren't applied for. It is not possible under their laws for absentee ballots to be floating around without an application. Now the obvious trouble is identifying who they would be cast for, but where they were cast is known.

The issue is not so much that we can't identify illegal ballots, we can. The issue is that the vote is separated and commingled from identifying information.

Posted by: hurricane567 at November 25, 2020 02:18 AM (hv51R)

537 The only way the state legislatures would CONSIDER sending a different slate of electors is if they attempt to investigate the fraud, and don't like what they see.

There is basically no path to victory where the state Legislatures just decides on their own to send Trump electors to the electoral college because "fuck it, yolo, biden sniffs kids lol."

These hearings present the opportunity for patriotic legislators to bring evidence of the fraud front and center. If there is enough pressure from voters plus decent evidence of fraud (or at least, of the elections officials acting guilty as hell by refusing to cooperate with the investigation) there is some small chance the legislators would refuse to certify Democrat electors, and certify Republicans instead.

And even if they don't take that step, exposing the Democrat fraud is important right now. We don't lose when Democrats are exposed for the crooks that they are. Now is the time to tell the Legislators that you want a REAL investigation and you want them to flip the electors because the irregularities are signs of fraud. Demand that your legislators investigate the hell out of these irregularities.

How do you red-pill a legislator who is probably by definition a cynical politician? It can't be easy but the only possible way is if they try to investigate voter fraud and they find nasty fraud or they find a nasty coverup.

Posted by: Daryl Herbert at November 25, 2020 02:48 AM (6uOm0)

538 "I don't think anyone wants to be the congressman who said 'LETS DO IT THE DETROIT WAY'"

Football players don't get to decide the rules. They just have to play the game. Don't cry about the rules. Play the game. The rules are the rules. If you don't like the rules, win elections and change the rules. If you win, you get to make the rules, you get to change the refs. First you have to win under the existing rules.

If Detroit-style shenanigans are allowed (let's refer to them by a nicer code name, "count every vote"), then that's what the GOP needs to do, nationwide. Count every vote. Count every vote. Count every vote. Who can argue with that? Let's do a better job of "count every vote" than the Democrats until they beg to abolish mail-in voting. Let them scream and cry on Twitter bout how Republicans stole the election by "counting every vote." And then President Trump or President DeSantis can say "yes, good idea, you're right Democrats, we should abolish mail-in voting and enact safeguards to protect our democracy."

Guys like Steve Bannon put winning first. Andrew Breitbart was the same way. First we win, we take power, then we can shape the world to be what we want it to be. You don't get that opportunity unless you win and you don't get to win by wearing rose-colored glasses. Just because you WANT to win a certain way doesn't mean that's the way to win.

If you want an America where we have real voter integrity laws that are actually applied, we have to WIN ELECTIONS and we can only win elections according to the current rules that are now in effect. We can't win elections according to the rules that we wish were in effect.

Let's start with the elections in Georgia: count every vote, harvest every ballot, and also track down/expose Democrat fraud. Expose Democrats who "moved" to Georgia temporarily so they could register to vote, block them from voting, have them arrested. Expose fake addresses for mail-in ballots so new ballots won't be mailed to those addresses.

Have poll watchers and vote counters ready to observe the counting process. If Democrats try to lock them out, be ready to FORCE their way in. It shouldn't be hard given that Republicans have the governorship. There should be State storm troopers with rifles ready to smash things up if there is any Philadelphia-style intimidation of Republican observers. They should be afraid of US.
