Twitter Anon Claims That The Majority Owner of Parler Is... George Soros?!
Photoshop?
Dan Bongino Denies, Stating "I OWN PARLER"

It sounds plausible. This motherfucker is buying everything to turn America into a communist hellhole, from DAs to decriminalize crime, to Secretaries of State to defraud the vote, to communication companies to stop communication.

But a commenter says this is a photoshop, and that Fox never claimed this.

Dan Bongino -- an owner of Parler -- denied this claim a few days ago. He tweeted "I OWN PARLER." I'm being told he owns it completely.

dbongino.jpg

I will leave this up a little while, but I think I'm going to delete the post and hide the evidence. Like Bret Baier and the Fox News Decision Desk.

Question:

Assuming this is a fake claim -- and I do assume this -- who is pushing this fake claim?

Is it just to protect the established leftwing social media platforms?

Update: Emerald Robinson hears what I do: Fox News hired a crisis communications firm.

@EmeraldRobinson

Let me tell you how big the exodus from @FoxNews has become.

Fox has hired a crisis management team to handle PR for their ratings crisis.

#Foxit is real & it's spectacular.

#Foxit, I love it.

I don't think he owns it (as in sole owner), but he is a major investor in it. As a major investor, I am sure he knows the other investors. If Soros is one (even by proxy), I reckon he would know about it. It's possible, I guess, but it comes down to who you trust individually in the absence of any reliable information (and we have no reliable information about anything anywhere).

I trust Dan Bongino more than I trust the entirety of the Fox News organization put together.

202 I like some of the medieval forms myself. I went to a torture museum exhibit some years back. There was one in particular were the victim would be tied upside down and sawed starting from the groin. Because the victim was upside down, the blood would rush to the brain, keeping the victim alive longer. Sometimes, death would not occur until the saw got to the chest cavity.

The medieval Japanese would torture people by hanging them upside down in a pit. Incisions at the base of the jaw would keep blood dripping and provide the victims from dying too quickly.

A couple years ago waiting to watch the World Series, I was horrified to learn it wasn't on MLB.TV or anything else I had, but was on OTA broadcasting.

I jumped in my car, went to Fry's, got a top of the line antenna, drove back at about 80 mph (carefully looking out for the CHP), mounted the antenna on the roof and hooked it up juuuuuust in time for the first pitch.

It's sometimes a nice alternative, and as you say, the price is right.

Funny thing about that, I got a digital antenna right after I moved (and didn't take my cable subscription with me), and flipped around and started watching the local Fox affiliate (they had an old Simpsons episode from back in caveman days on). A commercial break came up so I went to get a snack or take a leak or something and almost before I left the room, the show was back on. I was expecting the commercial break to be at least four times as long. So the cable subscription, which I paid real money for every month, had more paid advertisement on it than the free TV that was sucked out of the luminiferous ether by gnomes and doesn't cost me a dime.

We cut cable a couple of months ago, mainly because it was costing more and more each month. That we don't have to pay for a lot of these channels is just an added benefit.

Frankly, none of us miss it. We are all reading more books, working on writing, and we have streaming for shows we enjoy. Hulu and Amazon prime, plus we may get something for a month if there is a service specific show we want to watch, such as Shudder for October.

Saves money and we waste a lot less time on stupid, mindless TV.

can do is physically stop them. You can't give piece of paper from a

This is true. This is the depressing truth of it all. Let's say the unimaginable is true - Trump has laid a master trap to get them all. I don't believe that - but let's game it out. It still won't be enough forever - because more Democrats will rise to cheat again. At best - it will be a long-shot that paid off to get us through now. And nothing more.

Conservatives are solvers of problems. They like to fix a thing and then move on. But the Progressives can never be fixed, even if the Conservatives went to lengths that even I would not approve of. To deal with them will require a constant effort forever - because they are evergreen. That's the kind of thinking that, if you follow it through to very uncomfortable conclusions, is truly unsettling. It changes how you look at everything. At least, it has for me.

If it's a language you feel like learning, you have to start with a single word, and I recommend "Roku."

It's a small set-top box. It comes in several models, starting around $35 for a basic but capable one, IIRC.

It plugs into the wall and your TV. Once you're on it, you can search for the different streaming services, like Philo, Pluto, etc. Some are free, some are paid subscriptions where you submit payment by CC in the application.

Once you install an application, it appears on your TV whenever you turn it on. It's that simple. If you can afford to try it out, I'd recommend doing so.

282 Now we're going down rabbits holes inside the rabbit holes at the bottom of a rabbit hole.

Wer are in the midst of a communist revolution, RIGHT NOW, as we speak.

it could still go either way.

The fate of the nation is at stake, and with it the fate of western civilization.

Since the beginning of the Cold War patriots and average conservative Americans have long fantasized that when the commies came, we would fight them "Red Dawn"-style, riding around on our Schwinns and shooting the bad guys with BB guns; or (as you grew up) strapping on military camo and defeating the commie army with clever guerrilla warfare; or just nuking them.

But guess what? Not possible. There's no one to shoot at. The revolution is all virtual. There no commie army, there's no villain. And even worse, YOU are deemed to be "the bad guys" in this conflict, not the good guys.

So it may not look like a "traditional" communist revolution, but it is one nonetheless, and just as serious and terminal.

Make no mistake; the extreme left has already partly taken over the Democratic party, and if Biden gets in office, they will fully take over, drop any pretense of a mask, and simply and overtly declare themselves to be "socialists." Which is actually what almost all communist revolutionaries call themselves: socialists, not communists.

So this "socialist" (i.e. communist) political clique will have successfully seized power, and henceforth will effectively end all democracy in the US, since all future elections will be rigged, as they are in all socialist countries.

This is the moment. It will never get more serious than this. No hammer-and-sickle mobs are going to storm the White House and string up the Trump administration from lampposts and declare this to the The Union of Soviet Socialist American States. But with this stealth revolution, the effect will be the same.

But sure, let's sip our coffees, and continue our mundane daily lives uninterrupted. The Schwinns lay rusting in the garage. There's nothing we can do. Right?

314 Why Dominion code must be checked rather than just observing how ballots are tallied.

About 10 years ago in California a gas station used their own programmed chip to scam unsuspecting customers.
Customers complained they were being shorted. The state checked the pumps and everything was fine. The chip shorted customers but made up the difference before hitting the 5 gallon mark, which is the amount of gas the state checkers drew. They were caught when the state filled a 3-gallon bucket and came up short. A pretty sophisticated cheat.
Dominion is at least as sophisticated and may have set numbers, or a range of numbers when the machines provide proper counts. Outside those ranges all manner of manipulation can occur.
I am not saying this is how it was done, but how it can be done.
The code must be checked.

I won't fully rep[eat my earlier pro-Roku rants, but in short: I highly, highly recommend it. Being in the Roku ecosystem allows you to access any and all "alternate" apps/channels/ecosystems. It's like being in the Master Control Room of all video/television/streaming/cable/apps. Everything you've ever mentioned or heard about is simply an app within the the Roku operating system.

I just bought a Smart TV and am still exploring the world of over-the-air. But I checked out Pluto this morning (Dr. No!), and will eventually try some of the others.

Vizio, the maker of my TV, has some app they call SmartCast that you have to accept conditions for. I haven't gone for the setup as I suspect it will want my email address, phone, or both. Anybody know? And is it worth trying?

354 So this "socialist" (i.e. communist) political clique will have successfully seized power, and henceforth will effectively end all democracy in the US, since all future elections will be rigged, as they are in all socialist countries.

Right?

the faces you see on the tv screens pushing the lie are a good place to start. If a few of them go down it'll concentrate the minds of the others wonderfully.

Point both index fingers to the sky "Sosa hit a homerun!" style.

Flip the bird. Sieg Heil arm raise.
Parade float princess wave..
Right index finger in left palm, tap, tap, tap. Hook 'em Horns. "OK" sign, index finger of other hand through the hole, open palm vertical squiggle, twice. Devil horns. Dolphin leaps right to left then left to right. Two fingers up bunny hop, hands in armpits flap elbows, flap, flap. Thumb and finger "L" to forehead, tap, tap, tap, squiggle, mark of Zorro in the air, hesitate, catch breath.
Thumbs in ears waggle fingers, thumb and pinkie "Hang Loose" waggle

Because Parler is a pain in the ass to use. I have an account there, which I haven't bothered to log in to in at least 6 months.

And yes, Dan Bongino is an investor in Parler. He was very public about that a year or two ago when he did it. But I don't blame anything wrong with Parler on Bongino. That's the thing, Tom. Of course they do. I own them by the case.

But, unlike the way people respond to the 'rona - which will never be eliminated - let's talk about Progressives and what would happen after they're all gone. I'm pretty sure the next one would rise up, spontaneously, about five minutes later - especially if the living was affluent and leisure time was plenty. They'll always be with us, like a natural spring. You can't contain something like that. You'll never eliminate it - it just pops up somewhere else.

The best you can do is divert it. And that requires a constant effort. Which is not something that sits well with the Conservative mindset. Progressives are not a problem to be solved and moved on from. They're a form of negative feedback, I think. The more free and affluent we become - which is what we want - the more they spawn. And freedom and affluence is NOT what they want. Not even if we give it to them.

407 The left really made a mistake here though, even if they win.

If Trump wins narrowly in 2020 and control of congress is split with RINOs in control nothing much happens. And in 2024 Trump is gone and you hope you can get a Romney or Bush running on the Rep side so you win no matter what.

But if Trump wins this he has to prove serious fraud. Which will require serious election fraud reform. Which means the Dems become a regional party.

That risk is not worth the 4 extra years of pork and pederasty they'll have to sacrifice with an uncontested Trump win.

There are any number of VOIP services that will forward to your phone number. A lot of them have a 14 day or month free tryout. If Parler only wants to check to see if it's a real phone number, and they never use it after that, that could be an option. YMMV.

There's multiple websites you can use to recieved text messages, you might just have to remember which you used incase they need to resend a code, or else you'll lose your account.

To me, the SmartTV is sort of gimmicky, at least for the time being, until the market shakes out.

Apps and services are popping up and flaming out all the time, so the thing is obsolete pretty quickly.

If a new one comes around that you want, you usually have to go buy the set-top Roku anyway, and it always stays current.

Roku is pretty nice. My only complaint is that after about a day or so
the sound starts cutting in and out. When that happens I have to reboot.
Not a huge deal, and the remote is a lot easier to use than my "Smart"
TV, that also has the major steaming services on it.

DVRs are a different animal. Some are cheaper than others, and I wouldn't get one that requires a subscription. They're usually expensive because - unlike a VCR - they have software and usually have a hard drive to store recordings. They're effectively little computers with a TV tuner.

SiliconDust's HDHomeRun "Scribe" series is reputed to be very good (I only used their older products, which were good) but aren't cheap.

446 I had to wait two hours at my polling place, the most I'd ever waited was a half hour when Teh Won ran the first time. As I stood in line I thought:"If these are Trump voters it won't even be close."
Later I checked and saw that 72% of Election Day voters at my precinct were for Trump. The mail-ins went to bidet, but Trump won the precinct.
I'm in SEPA, in Delco, where Trump got shellacked. Hilary won Delco handily in 2016, but I expected some erosion in that margin due to the civil unrest in neighboring Philadelphia to welcome Trump's law and order plan.
After all the dust settled I found out that the delco demorats were ballot harvesting AT THE PRISON. Felons were voting.

Posted by: kallisto at November 11, 2020 03:16 PM (DJFLF)

I live in Colorado (Boulder County even), where we've had early mail-in voting for several years.
This is a BLUE state, so I was not the least bit surprised to see the vote go for Biden (and Hickenlooper).
The big difference is we only get SOLICITED ballots, and we drop the filled out ballots off at rather secure locations (in my town, the Police Station).
We also apparently use Dominion Voting Systems for tallying, so I immediately checked out "thedonald.win" when that news came out ( https://tinyurl.com/y4ah4drd ).
Results for
Colorado : Switched : 1,809 Lost Votes : 0
Given that I think Colorado runs it's mail-in system rather well, the 1809 number looks consistent for that kind of fraud, and 0 lost votes makes sense.
I think there is an excellent case for proof of software fraud if somebody could get their hands on the source code.

Tablo does not require a subscription, but makes recording a little more difficult if you don't have it. I currently don't. Other thing about Tablo is that is is WiFi or Ethernet only, which theoretically works for me, except my in-house WiFi seems be problematic and my local internet provider hasn't been able to completely fix it. The other thing about Tablo is that you have to proved an external USB drive to record, so will add to overall cost. There are other options, like TiVO, but again, as you said, subscription costs.

The goal of these recounts is not necessarily to flip enough votes for Trump to win. That'd be wonderful, but it's not the goal.

The goal is showing enough fraud can be found to taint the whole batch.

Once you find a bunch of Biden votes suddenly getting tossed, the call from the Trump people will not be "keep going" it'll be "this proves what we're saying: good ballots and fraudulent ballots are intermingled. We'll never find them all. Do not certify. Give it to the state house."

485 Seems to me as options open up, alternatives to Big Tech's monopoly on social media, there are going to be some problems arising... questions about who is behind this or that, questions about how secure they are.

And one of those problems is going to be the inevitable gravitation toward these alternate platforms, by those who are on the fringes. The anti-Semites, the conspiracy nuts, and other assorted deplorables.

So that's the challenge, folks. Are you for free speech or aren't you? If you are the ones doing the censoring, it's still censorship. Either your platform is going to be a free-for-all, with rogues of all sorts, or it's just "our" twitter, "our" facebook, "our" youtube.

It is a *bit* better now that the built-in "smart" bits are standardizing (most are based on Android or WebOS, now), but compute hardware ages out in terms of capability well before the display panel or backlights will for most TV sets. My ideal TV would just be a display panel and a tuner, with my picking the set-top "smart tv" box of my choice. But different stroked for different folks. The more recent built-in "smart TV" systems are pretty decent.

The downside to it - if you have a multi-TV household - is that the user experience will be different on all of them unless you standardize on a brand. This is one of many reasons I prefer an external box. But again, differences of opinion are what make horse racing.

505 Make no mistake; the extreme left has already partly taken over the Democratic party, and if Biden gets in office, they will fully take over, drop any pretense of a mask, and simply and overtly declare themselves to be "socialists." Which is actually what almost all communist revolutionaries call themselves: socialists, not communists.

Right?
Posted by: zombie at November 11, 2020 03:14 PM (U/dtz)

zombie, I'm with you, but I don't think they intended to win this one. I think for the Communists leading this thing, this was 1905, not 1917. Biden is not Kerensky, who was genuinely elected in 1917 by a broad coalition and then overthrown 6 months later by the Bolsheviks from within. They intended in this election cycle just to undermine the legitimacy of the government, then follow up with an increasing campaign to build popular support for their program (Green New Deal, Medicare For All, student loan forgiveness, Section 8 housing in the suburbs, etc.) while increasing unrest through demonstrations and terrorism against the hated Drumpf and his deplorables. I assume they are smart enough to take the gift of graft the Democrats gave them and try to manage the situation, like Castro and Chavez did, and there they can be exposed. The next month will be very interesting. PDT is not going to roll over and just let it happen, and enough Americans are awake that it won't go down they way they intend it to.

And why is that ? I'll theorize that it's because nobody feels the hammer of pain. Sure, shareholders. But modern corporate law means that pain can be shared over millions of gamblers. And yes, I call them gamblers, not investors.

There is a huge amount of money supposedly getting won or lost. Yet - we never see anyone go bankrupt - or suffer in any tangible way. I don't think Fox News would be steering the ship in this manner if Rupert Murdoch's family fortune was entirely on the line. I don't think it would be going like this if Paul Ryan's retirement fund was in play.

I think they're all playing with house money - and they don't give a shit if they lose it all. Now tell me more about all the legal protections such a corporation should receive. Sounds more like a syndicate to me.

Way back when I was getting edumacated in such things the winning case study was the Tylenol poisonings (even thought the company itself was not at fault). They recalled all of their product, communicated clearly, immediately and effectively, and developed safeguards.

The negative case study was ExxonValdez.

I somehow expect FOX to not make the correct choices...

One of the 1,000 indirect indicators that make Tuesday's purported results incomprehensible to me.

And leaving out the fairly obvious gross fraud states, AZ and NC and even GA to a lesser extent astonish me. I did not bookmark/save the little numbers talk that Stepien did on the eve of the election but I recall NC being a comfortable margin (Trump won it by 4%+ in '16), and not sure he even mentioned AZ, that is not sure it was even on the radar as a truly battleground state from their perspective.

And asked her to send me the exact model number. Of course she had no way to look that up and kept sending me everything BUT the model number. I wanted that exact TV, so I just bought hers from her even though t was only 60 inch.
Posted by: Jimco Industries at November 11, 2020 03:34 PM (buTO7)
++++++++++++++
That has more to do with the panel itself than the platform. Roku is a platform. Higher-end TV sets have a higher-end picture. Sony and Samsung and LG all play in the high-end space. I tend to buy middle-of-the-road TVs - the differences at the high end just aren't compelling enough for me.
Posted by: Joe Mannix (Not a cop!) at November 11, 2020 03:38 PM (hYcqw)

The smart TV's can do rudimentary stuff like access the internet and even have a few apps like Youtube.

The Roku/Amazon Fire are little devices (they used to call them boxtop devices) that allow you to load apps and use them. From Netflix to Amazon Prime. Think of it as putting a smartphone in your monitor TV set.

The things are dirt cheap, and they'll be going on sale very soon for Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

Sure, you can get stuff on your TV set, but the sticks/boxes have a built in processor that makes it much, much easier and faster. You'll have more programming than you can shake a stick at.

If you have simple needs or are mostly Amazon user, get the Amazon fire stick. It accesses and uses Amazon much better than the Roku. Amazon had to create a separate app for Roku, so in some ways it's not as robust, but in some ways it's a LOT better. I found that with the Amazon stick, they tended to want you to buy more stuff, and that's what they'd show you. Sign up for Starz! Sign up for HBO! Sign up for... Where the Roku separates it out into categories, and it's easier to find the free Prime stuff, and what's been added.

My favorite apps: Pluto, Peacock, Roku, Tubi, IMDB, and Amazon. I also have Adult Swim (cartoons) and you can get ANY channel you might have on cable.

But they'll never convince me that elections are worth a pitcher of piss in this country again. And then I'll adjust my behavior accordingly.

608 Zombie,
There's nothing we can do right now, except wait for the legal process to play out and pray for and support our fighters, the lawyers and politicians allied to us, who are battling on the front lines of this. Also support the voices we have, the still free networks like OAN and Newsmax, and the pundits that still have platforms to reach people like Dan Bongino, Steve Turley, Eric Metexas, etc. There's quite a few out there still fighting the fight against the MSM propaganda.
In that vein, if you're on social medial you can kill your twitter and change to Parler, kill your cable sub, stop using google and start using Brave or Duck Duck Go, and above all stop watching the MSM in any form. Don't tune in or click to any of their channels. Push it out of your life like Dinesh D'Souza suggests.

Other than that, I think more will come. Whichever way this goes, this will bring together ALOT of people under our banner. Trump will still be here either way and other leaders will take up the banner and unite our party and our movement, whatever it evolves into next. There will be other elections and other battles. So we have to be ready to get involved in that in whatever way we can.

Posted by: rhomboid at November 11, 2020 03:40 PM (OTzUX)

the massive election fraud is all Democrats, not the Communists who are behind them. This is just plain old Democrats doing what Democrats do, in the most ham-handed way possible. This kind of fraud would never have even occurred to the revolutionary leadership. Now they are in a position where their front group has handed them a possible win, and they may not be in a position to exploit it in the way their doctrine tells them to. They will figure it out, but we can exploit this.

Reagan 1984 had a really high vote total. Most ever and lots more than 1980.

Both Bush and Kerry had a large increase in votes in 2004 compared to 2000. Then 2008 saw a big jump for the D's with obama, but McCain's vote totals were pathetic.

Trump had a 94% approval rating among Republican voters and 50%+ among Independents, so both of those aren't part of the Biden wave. That leaves Democrats voting for the Biden wave but not for other Democrat offices!

I live in a deep blue state on the East Coast, but on election night
starting at 8 PM local time, I started getting bombarded by one
Democratic robocall after another for an hour from Wisconsin (via caller
ID) urging me to vote. Did this happen to anyone else?

Yes. My phone blew up for states I haven't lived in for years.

672 I wouldn't be so proud of being an owner of Parler.

It's been a shit show for a lot of people trying to sign up. And there's no way to get any help until you sign up. Nice Catch-22 there.

After 4 tries and differing problems each time and no recourse offered I've reluctantly given up. Strictly amateur hour for a outfit supposedly trying to out do Twitter for conservatives.
I hope some other app comes along that's better designed and that gets beta tested.

675 But if Trump wins this he has to prove serious fraud. Which will require serious election fraud reform. Which means the Dems become a regional party.

That risk is not worth the 4 extra years of pork and pederasty they'll have to sacrifice with an uncontested Trump win.

Most of the Dem leadership only have about 4 more years themselves. This changes the equations for them.

678 Dan bongino was a secret service guy and then a cop. He knows all of jack and shit about the tech industry. He's a face, a front, and the fact he won't admit that should disturb you.

Posted by: DFCtomm at November 11, 2020 05:17 PM (50gG9)

679 Don't get me wrong. I don't know a whole lot about him or care that much about him. He's just another talking head now, and not a very interesting one. However, he's not driving Parler. There is no tech industry expertise in his background. He's just an investion/representative to conservatives. The fact he's not being clear about that makes me suspicious. He didn't say I know all the invested parties and they're all on the up and up, nope, he said I own parler and we know that isn't true.

680 zombie, Im with you, but I dont think they intended to win this one.
Posted by: Caesar North of the Rubicon

Oh yes they did.

The reason they kept saying there was going to be a landslide was because they were planning a landslide. A criminal vote fraud one.

And then they severely underestimated the Real Trumpslide which was much bigger than their fraud. So they had to hamhandedly add tens of thousands to hundred of thousand of votes. And that still might not be enough.

This is all Shiite they pulled in Calizuela to make it the one party state that it is. Next time they will go full Sadaam Hussein and go for 95% of all the votes.

As zombie says they are going for it. She lives (as I understand it) across the bay from me, and sees this Calizuela Shiite on a daily basis (as do I). We know how serious they are in Calizuela

They are coming for the rest of you. Pray Trump wins this one. Or go invest in lead because youll need it soon.

682 @282 zombieWer are in the midst of a communist revolution, RIGHT NOW, as we speak.

it could still go either way.

The fate of the nation is at stake, and with it the fate of western civilization.

Zombie, I've always loved your posts. I used to post at LGF under this nickname and this is just my second comment at AoS. I couldn't agree with you more. I'm also trying to rally my family and friends to not view Biden as a foregone conclusion. The next email that I send them tonight is going to quote your post. What I'm trying to stress with them is to do SOMETHING. Even if it's small. Do something. Frankly, I'm very disappointed in a lot of conservative friends and family who are giving up. I'm flying to D.C. this weekend from New Orleans. I had one friend text me the word "Wolverine" last Thursday, but when I tried to encourage him to go to the stopthesteal rally in Baton Rouge, he had stuff to do. Another friend had to take the kids to the farmer's market. I don't understand how so few realize what an existential moment this is for everything that matters in this world. I'm not going to stop, though.

683 You can tell it's fake because Fox would never mention Soros as if his involvement were a scandal.

685 Love you, Ace! First time commenting here. Just to show how these rumors fly, I was reading a thread elsewhere about WeMe. Someone said they would never subscribe because it was started by Harvey Weinstein, without bothering to do even minimal research. Someone else pointed out that it was MARK Weinstein who started it--no relation at all. Why do I have a feeling these rumors are being "assisted" by lefty tech robber barons who may actually be threatened by us peons moving to other sites?

Posted by: Maureen at November 11, 2020 10:52 PM (eXViQ)

686 Fox News: We don't talk about George Soros here.
Also Fox News: HEY CONSERVATIVES THAT COMPETITOR TO TWITTER THAT YOU ARE ALL SWITCHING TO IS OWNED BY GEORGE SOROS! WHATTA BURNER ON YOU, HUH?

Even if this is Photoshopped, this is almost certainly a bit of deliberate misinformation from Big Media, of whom Fox is a part. Fox would totally mention Soros if they thought they could tank a rival platform with his name. Soros would pay them to do it.
