109 This must be spectacular painting to see in person. The brilliant colors of the men and the boat against the darker hues of the water and land really emphasizes the differences. In those days, and even today, going to sea was an act of faith. I've wondered if that was a reason the apostles were chosen from that work.

Delacroix really captured the feel of stormy seas and sky without painstaking detail. It is a mixed, turbulent situation that calls for constant change which needs the broad strokes he used. There is just enough lightness (variation in the color of the water and points of white) to allow the motion to come through to the viewer. At least it seems that way to me.

The one point of calm in the scene is the sleeping Jesus. Is this another way of his saying "into Thy hands"?

And, boy howdy, does this painting feel relevant!

121 It was a test. Like a storm is going to drown the Son of God.

But the Apostles were worried even though Jesus was asleep.

So He was annoyed. You guys really don't believe in Me, do you?

Posted by: blaster at November 10, 2020 09:52 AM (ZfRYq)

122 This must be spectacular painting to see in person.

179 Horde, I need to take a break from the blog for a while. I am depressed to the point of being suicidal - the election was just the match that set off something that has been brewing in me for a long time. I am seeking counseling because I see no prospect of my life ever being better. Unfortunately, because of the damn Wuflu many people are in the same boat. Every counseling center I have contacted has a very long backlog and delays.

I also called a charity that provides women seeking abortions with alternatives and helps them with prenatal care and with baby supplies etc..I have been sending checks from time to time to an organization in NYC that does the same, but it occurred to me that it might make me feel better to help a local person face-to-face. Again, the damned Wuflu makes it impossible. This charity is still operating but closed its' doors in March. They are dropping off baby supplies to pregnant women but are unable to train new volunteers since their office is small and there is no way to follow covid restrictions. The lady was very kind and she took my info and said she would get back to me when things get back to normal.

I'm feeling so frustrated and upset right now. I think the only way I can go on is if I stop fretting about the election fraud, which I can't do a damned thing about, and try to address my personal issues and help others so I can get my focus off myself. But I can't even do that.

188 Interesting that the MSM has stopped saying "no fraud" and started saying "no *widespread* fraud"

I thought it was a tremendously important moment in this ongoing war.

It's the kind of thing the low information rube might hear and say "wait...what?"

The fact is most people don't jump off a train all at once, even if it is eventually heading for a disaster. People do it slowly, one at a time, as they each start to accept the truth staring them in the face.

The media is now saying "fraud? Okay, but it's not widespread."

1. there is no fraud
2. there is no provable fraud
3. there is no provable widespread fraud
4. there is no provable widespread fraud that changes the election
5. you're a racist.

This past week, I've been thinking a LOT about parallels to current events, just to stay positive.

Trump rallies were off the charts, then after the election, many of his supporters were too scared to be seen in public.

So many of his visible or political 'supporters' ran off after the election, but there are women who remain and still support him: Maria Bartiromo, Sidney Powel,Ronna McDaniel, Kaleigh MacEnany, and even Megyn Kelly ( who saw THAT one coming???)

Bottom line: things will get scary, but always keep the faith.

The electors can certify their results (Mid-December), or the other party can concede. Neither has not happened.

W had to wait until the electors were about to meet in order to be the official President-Elect. While uncommon, a delay is not unheard of. Biden is angry only because it is really one of the last official chits he needs to collect.

Donna!!! Hugs to you {{{{ }}}}. This despondency is exactly what is supposed to happen as a result of the gaslighting we've been experiencing for 5 years...or more. This is all part of the Color Revolution. Do your best to not give in.

What can you do to feel like you can fight it?
Send letters ( physical letters) to your congressmen and local politicians. Report the different news media to the FCC for presenting false content in news programming ( that was FUN! I may report more networks today). Will these have any effect? Dunno. However, someone, somewhere who is on the other side has to actually do some work: they have to open the letter ( even if just to shred it later) they have to respond to an email they have to at least begin to read them. One person doing this makes no difference. Imagine if half a million people did it!
Be the sand in the other side's shorts. Heh.

Get yourself to a Trump rally STAT. This Saturday, the Trump Train is meeting in DC. Are you in NYC? I'm in NJ and am looking for other people to go with. At the rally, you'll meet the nicest darned people, patriots , and you won't feel so alone and hopeless. You'll also learn how they are waging this battle in many ways.

Posted by: Asshoes at November 10, 2020 10:12 AM

Had to look that up. Sure enough.

So does this line up with the demographics of the USA? Do "minorities" collectively make up 50% of the nation now and whites make up 50%?

CBS announced Monday it will diversify its future reality TV casts to include at least 50 percent black, indigenous and people of color (BIPOC). That pledge means that the future line-ups of hit shows like Survivor, Big Brother and Love Island will have diverse casts starting with 2021 - 2022 season.

I think there is a lesson learned here. A summer of looting, rioting, arson and bitching about "systemic racism" results in every industry in the nation pandering and donating to your cause and Hollywood increasing your existence in shows.

I'm going to bet they will have 50% PoC at the start of competition shows like Big Brother. However, I'm going to start writing letters if they fall below 50% at any time during the competition. If two black people in a row get voted off, it's time to fire up Word and let the complaints flow.

"evidence of participation"

There is so much stink and too much of it is coordinated.

Step one is winning all these fights and getting back into the White House.

Step two is a RICO case. Take it to the top. Someone was calling the shots. They didn't decide independently in Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Georgia to stop counting at the same time, only to return and suddenly report a slew of Biden only ballots.

Someone orchestrated this.

Someone coordinated with the media, so that they would all slow-call the Trump wins and fast-call the Biden wins. That gave the impression that the race was either tied or that Biden had a slim edge, despite the numbers being overwhelmingly in Trump's favor. Everyone shut down for the night, the counting supposedly stopped, and then the fix happened, and by morning Trump was down everywhere, Biden was getting races called, and that was that.

This wasn't one state. This wasn't "the election came down to PA and Philly pumped up the numbers." That's bad enough, but this was happening in six (or more) states simultaneously. That takes coordination.

Find the ring leaders, pressure them, break them, find who ordered them, pressure them, break them, find who ordered them, get to the top of the pyramid.

Find them and hang them.

Have the dr. do bloodwork - vitamin D3 is so important. Also, have your thyroid checked. Not just TSH but Free T3, Reverse T3, Free T4 and antibodies. If the dr. won't run these, a lot of states have labs where you can order the tests yourself.

Horde, I need to take a break from the blog for a while.

487 Thanks to everyone.

I'm not on Twitter. I think just reading twitter threads has made me crazy, since it's such a sewer. Months of reading unhinged replies to Mollie Hemingway and Kurt Schlicter's and Rita Panahi's tweets have contributed to the feeling of being engulfed in a sea of hatred. I'm not going to do that anymore.

Things got really bad on Sunday. Bad as in holed in up a hotel room in Waukesha with my family and cops outside the door. I was in a rage that won't go away and went on for hours.

I love my family and they love me - they wouldn't have driven out there to talk me off the ledge if they didn't. But it is crazy-making- absolutely crazy-making to me to think that out of these people I love only two are on my side politically. The rest of them celebrated Biden's victory and think Trump is the anti-Christ. But, but....they've been there for me in tough times.

So in judging them, am I being like my sister's son, who has rejected his own mother because he's now far left and she voted for Trump? He won't even let her see or hold her only grandchild, born in March. When he's not working from home he spends his time on left blogs and twitter spewing hatred against conservatives. I am his godmother and I think he would be happy if I killed myself.

I don't want to be his right-wing mirror image. But I'm so angry at the people who voted for Biden and enabled this fraud. But - I'm angry and depressed about a lot of things and have been for a while.

For a while, I was on the AoS YahooGroups, but I don't even know if that is still operative. AnnaS, I'd like to talk to you. There are a few 'rons I've met who have my contact info. Mis Hum is one.

True as far as it goes but I think the larger point is too many people think Congress has the ability to do things they do not.

JackStraw has insisted Gowdy has done everything he could with the tools at his disposal. The House investigation ability doesn't mean squat without a useful DOJ to which to refer things so making lots of noise for no possible good outcome wouldn't be smart; and going on a long rant would just give the enemedia material to edit and making him look like a goof.

Even if that were true, it's irrelevant to the current election. As they say in investing, "Past performance is not a guide to future performance, nor a reliable indicator of future results or performance." There's a first time for everything, and again even if it never happened before (it has, in spades) that doesn't mean it's not happening now.

Posted by: bonhomme at November 10, 2020 10:34 AM

Here is their full claim:

With ballot counting continuing and the presidential race being called for Joe Biden, experts and officials say there has been no evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 US election.

The election process is secure and voter fraud of any type is incredibly rare according to The Associated Press and Reuters.

Officials and experts warn that the most interference in US elections, whether from foreign or domestic players, comes in the form of misinformation campaigns, many of which are intended to create distrust in the US's electoral process.

Anyone recall this statement being made 4 years ago when the Left claimed Russian interference?

This all goes back to Bill Gates' Event 201 Conference. The last recommendation:

Governments and the private sector should assign a greater priority to developing methods to combat mis- and disinformation prior to the next pandemic response. Governments will need to partner with traditional and social media companies to research and develop nimble approaches to countering misinformation. This will require developing the ability to flood media with fast, accurate, and consistent information. Public health authorities should work with private employers and trusted community leaders such as faith leaders, to promulgate factual information to employees and citizens. Trusted, influential private-sector employers should create the capacity to readily and reliably augment public messaging, manage rumors and misinformation, and amplify credible information to support emergency public communications. National public health agencies should work in close collaboration with WHO to create the capability to rapidly develop and release consistent health messages. For their part, media companies should commit to ensuring that authoritative messages are prioritized and that false messages are suppressed including though the use of technology.

The goal in an election challenge is not to prove "x > y" when the outcome of the election was "y > x".
The goal is an election challenge is to prove that the process for determining "x" and "y" was unreliable, and there is evidence of manipulation.

The goal does not have to be for Trump to prove he "won" as an objective matter, simply that as a subjective matter there can be no confidence in the declaration of either candidate as a winner. The Constitution provides a political remedy for that problem, not a legal remedy.

Seems clear enough that certain big city places have all Dems in control, tossing wrong votes, adding ballots as necessary at the end of the night ... they have lists of who did not vote, in this case they had all night, and are still manufacturing votes for days after. What you're seeing manifested in Gowdy's watery eyes, golf-divot head, and saber-cut hairstyle is the work of this aggrieved hellish pilot.

Cyrpus was and to a much smaller degree still is one of the money laundering capitals of the world as well as a haven for the rich and corrupt to hide their money.

Groups in Ukraine, including Burisma, used it to launder money and payments including to the Bidens. The money went through the privately held PrivatBank in Ukraine through Cyprus and to the Bidens in the US.

Incidentally, PrivatBank was owned by the same Ukrainian mogul who owned the majority of Burisma and it was that Ukrainian mogul's investment properties in Cleveland, Miami and beyond that the FBI seized this past summer because they were used with laundered stolen money.

A lot more of course but that's the gist of it.

This. The announcement of Sundown as President elect on Saturday by the enemedia, knowing full fucking well that counts and recounts are going on and still to happen, was to demoralize us. It was not the action of people confident of what the numbers truly are.

Unfortunately it worked to demoralize a lot of us. Don't give in. We will prevail.

My wife ordered pizza from a local pizza shop to support our kid's marching band. She had to relay the spelling of our last name at least 7 times, then again our address, expressing the street name was one word, not two, a similar amount of times.

After expressing that we would just come get the order when ready, he figured out that the street was one word, not two. Then she got to the part of payment and giving the CC #. The first numbers were good, then the code. He asked for the date of expiration, to which she responded January, 2023.

"What number month is that?"

"Uh.....ONE?!!!"

When it came down to it, the delivery driver had to call us as they were trying to deliver down the street because he, after all that, STILL had the wrong address.

I opened the door and told the young lady "I guess whomever is answering the phone is having a rough day...." She said she'd be addressing that when she returned to the store.

You do realize that you are making his case for him that the GOP and the Democrats hate white people and especially white men? Even today they are both signaling there is no room for white people and especially white men.
Don't you think it would be wise to be united during this time instead of attempting to out and dox people on the Right especially with the MAGA DC rally coming up? The organizers are calling for all factions of MAGA to put aside differences, stand united, and show up? Is it wise to behave like this to depress turnout?
The Right never ceases to amaze me.

"LEARN TO READ" will be the next racist insult.

I think I'm seeing this in fvckups in california hospitals that should NOT be happening. Just a day ago, a relative of mine was sent home from the hospital without several meds she was suppsoed to have AND her wallet, still in security. another relative had to go back to the hospital to fetch everything. How on earth was someone discharged without meds and personal effects? My mom had several bogus charges from the same hospital. I guess that switch to digital doesn't tidy things up if the people doing data entry haven't learned to read much less code.
