Poll Workers Gave Sharpies to Voters In Trump Districts.
Sharpie Marks Do Not Read on Optical Scanners, So Thousands of Trump Votes Were Made Invisible.

Matt Schlapp says this was done extensively in Trump precincts in Arizona.

Update:

@colvinj

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Donald Trump wins 2nd Congressional District in Maine.

11 So this is why when I was presented a paper ballot at my polling place, I said I wanted to use the touch screen system.
The worker said to me: "They take too long".
Me: I want to use the touch screen.

It took me about 2 and a half minutes to vote on the touch screen, then another minute or so to scan the paper ballot it generated.
I'm not saying that our precinct gave us sharpies, because they didn't...I just think the paper ballots are unreliable because even if you go outside the lines they don't work.

I had one in my purse. They attached a sharpie to every folder containing the ballot. So the obvious assumption would be that is what one was supposed to use.

17 It is the duty of nations...to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins...with assured hope that genuine

repentance will lead to mercy...The awful calamity of civil war..may be but a punishment inflicted upon us for our presumptuous sins." Lincoln continued: "We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven...We have grown in numbers, wealth and power as no other nation has ever grown. But we have

forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious Hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own." Lincoln concluded: "Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us! It behooves us then to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins and to pray for...forgiveness"

65 I thought the problem with Sharpies was bleed through from one side to the other. I think AZ had a two-sided ballot paper in some places at least (down ballot races, local judges, whatever on the back). Optical scanner should be able to read any dark mark that an eye can see (they just reflect regular light off the paper to read it), but bleed through in the wrong spot might mess things up. But probably they offset the ballot columns on front and back side to account for this problem, but maybe not.

They'll work fine, so long as it's a 1-sided ballot. Which isn't often.

It's the "bleed-through" from one side to the next that causes the problems.

Were
these sharpies not black? That's the ONLY way I see optical scanners
misbehaving. If they're looking for something that's not "white or black
in a specific location", we need to NOT call them "optical scanners",
or at least explain the functional mechanism that's used to "optically"
find a marked spot.

We fed ours into what could have been a shredder, for all I know. No confirmation of anything, and no receipt, if that's the term. (In CA, you would tear of the bottom strip which had a serialized number)

I'm not saying that our precinct gave us sharpies, because they didn't...I just think the paper ballots are unreliable because even if you go outside the lines they don't work.

The red sharpie would most likely get lost), or as @101 mentioned, bleed through.

The cheating is as blatant as can be. They are flaunting it as a message, they told us that it was going to happen, there was never going to be a chance taken here after 2016, and once they reach the executive office again, that's it for the remnants of the America we once knew. There is too much money, and more importantly, too much power at play, too many major players around the world to allow this to go any way other than what they planned.

I just saw on the news about 10 min ago that they were waiting for

I strongly recommend figuring out propositions in advance, the tiny blurb they put on the ballots doesn't fully reflect what they are, and the titles are often spun pretty heavily.

Brace yourselves for President Harris.":

When we first said this, back in 2016, all non-Califonians said, "Kamala who? LOL. No chance. Stop worrying."

But we persisted with our warnings.

And then earlier this year when she flamed out of the primaries, the doubters all said, "See, you paranoid Californians? She has no chance nationally. Your fears and predictions are baseless."

Fast-forward to today.

And everything we predicted, and everything we feared, is coming true. Just as we warned, NOTHING gets in the way of Kamala Harris's lust for power. She will rip the universe apart to get what she wants.

Biden is not behind all this cheating. It is all being done by the Dem Deep State bureaucrats in conjunction with the Kamala Harris team. I'm sure of it.

My polling place had Bic pens, no sharpies at 6am. Don't know if that changed later on, but if sharpies were preferred, I wouldn't have known. In fact, I was bitching that I wanted a felt pen as used in previous elections, since the Bic made it difficult to fill out the loooooong list of judges (plus I'm fucking short, so I was on tiptoes half the ballot). We decide what's more important to us: a) playing by the rules, or b) winning. For my entire life I've said "a", without hesitation. The left has chosen "b" (decades ago), and taken advantage of the fact that I and most decent, patriotic Americans have said "a." It's a really big deal when I say "b", and I now say "b." That's what I mean by street brawl. How far am I willing to go in lying, cheating, stealing to match them? I don't know yet. I'm new to this side.
Like...5 hours new.

343 @31 the guy who checked me in didn't even tell me the touch screen was available, I had to demand it.
+++
in my precinct/state, touch screen is generally for people with motor difficulties. Not that we tried to hide it from anyone, it just wasn't on our radar for people who seemed like they could do the scantron version (took us two spoiled ballots until we realized that the lady with a shoulder injury would do better with that; not malice, just oblivious). That said, anyone who wanted to use it would be welcome.
=================================
@38 And ... the voting machine will not flag an "empty" ballot, only an over-voted one.
+++
True; I had people asking about races they didn't care about & I told them that leaving it empty wouldn't cause a problem (i.e., machine wouldn't reject it).

346 !!@#@%!!!

I know why Medical MJ passed in Mississippi

They fvcking rigged the ballot.

65 and 65A were listed twice on the ballot. First time you could vote YES or NO to both options. Second time you could vote YES to either 65 or 65A, there were no options to vote NO on the second time.

If you leave the second one blank and scan in the ballot, it will error out because of a blank. So the machine asks if you want to fix your ballot or vote as is.

I bet a lot of people fixed their ballot. So that is how it passed.

392 It's funny. I had a lot of fun in Airborne school back in the day. It was fun. Then I was first in my stick, standing in the door of a C-130 and thinking, "Wow, that's a long way down."

There's been a lot of talk about 'when do we start shooting' over the last few years. Well, it might be soon and suddenly everyone's an Eeyore. Knock it off. And because this is the Internet, I will now run my suck and spitball ideas.

Stop thinking about today, or next week. The Left isn't. They planned this shit well in advance and it shows. Think long term. What is the fundamental problem, here? Makers versus takers, individualists vs collectivists, and the latter are taking over. The current sociopolitical situation is unsalvageable and we know it. The most a Trump win here buys is four years and then it happens again, only even better this time because the Deep State is on their side. Am I saying a successful steal is good? No, of course not.

Stop wailing and rending your garments and get mean. Be prepared for what these people have planned for you and yours. It will get worse before it gets better.

Civil War One wasn't the end of the world. This is not either. The country will fracture, but that is also not the end of the world. The people, society, freedom of thought and speech and religion and the like, are what is important. The dirt means very little. Look at your communities and families and friends-- that is what a free country is made of, not the buildings or the corrupt Deep State or the eagle letterhead.

Biden is a meat puppet to very evil and very ruthless people. Any conflict will be long and very unpleasant and will take considerable rebuilding in the aftermath.

And to anyone who wails that its hopeless and we're all doomed to boxcars I have one word... Kurds. Who have maintained their integrity and cultural independence for two thousand years surrounded by some of the worst people on Earth. The capacity is there. It is not impossible or even close to it.

401 This reliance on machines causes havoc every goddamn time. In the UK, they hand out pencils, and the ballots are counted BY HAND, with multi-party checkers to make sure nothing nefarious is going on. You can use a pen - one that makes a clear mark - if you wish. And thus a country of 67 million people gets an incontrovertible verdict on the winner five hours or so after the polls close. If power changes hands, the new Prime Minister drives into Downing Street in time for breakfast.

It is hard to believe that the use of a system that causes these problems EVERY SINGLE TIME is inadvertent.

411 Meet the new "hanging chad," and the new SCOTUS issue. Probably one of many.

Will SCOTUS rule that every ballot has to be reviewed and, if a Sharpie was used... then what?
Is that proof of intentional Fraud? Do they just "fix" the vote with a ballpoint pen, under the watchful eye of a 3rd party observer? Do they, if they think it's fraud, invalidate the whole district?
And that's just AZ.
In WI there's the whole "where the hell did all of these votes just appear from?"

420 346 !!@#@%!!!

They've gotten what they wanted, which was to destroy the system. We're an embarrassment as a nation because we can't count our damned votes.
++++
Yeah, exactly. I worked the polls yesterday, and while I was energized by the high turnout (came close to running out of ballots for one precinct), I just felt exhausted last night/this morning.

Part of the exhaustion is from the idea (not certainty) that doing our best yesterday to help people vote (i.e., get registered, direct them to the correct precinct, etc) is just washed away by fraud. I'm certain that I & the people I worked with yesterday were there with an honest intention to help our community, but everyone else?

Posted by: deplorable me at November 04, 2020 01:41 PM (n4fBZ)

433 IF Trump wins (PLEASE G-D) the first thing that needs to happen is to revise the voting system nationwide in each and every state. Failure to make reasonable efforts to prevent voter fraud results in that state's vote being rendered null and void.
1) Purge all the voter rolls. Everybody must re-register with valid, state issued, photo ID. This ID must include citizenship/voter eligibility status.
2) No more blanket vote-by-mail. The potential for fraud is too great to resist for the miscreants who will cheat.
3) Absentee ballots only for those who request them, and they better have a good reason. If you are able to go to the store or a riot, you are able to go vote in person.
4) Serialized paper ballots in all elections. All ballots must be accounted for and the numbers have to match. Let the voters select from a pile on the table to maintain anonymity. The votes can recorded and tabulated electronically at the time of voting, but the paper trail remains. As a bonus, the voter may, if they choose, record their ballot number to ensure that their vote counts as intended.
5) Any precinct that votes over 100% of registered voters gets tossed as this is hard evidence of voter fraud.
6) Any precinct that turns in 95%+ for a single candidate gets extra scrutiny.
7) Anyone getting caught stuffing the ballot box with fraudulent votes gets a minimum of 20 years hard time in club fed.

The above measures will not stop all voter fraud, but it will take a huge chunk out of play. This is one loaf of which I will gladly take 90% and be darned happy about it.

The procedure for federal elections really needs to be uniform at the federal level because the results in a given state have a direct influence on the country as a whole. We all know that the Ds love them some vote fraud and they indulge themselves in every election. It is way past time that we put a stop to it to the greatest degree possible.

I draw a real hard line when people lie to my face and steal from me. The left is not going to like it when the right decides it is time for retribution. The left is not going to like it when the right forces them to play by the rules the left put in place.

There's another couple of things you should consider. This is similar to what I have proposed as well. Those two things are:
1) Every four years, to occur on the year of the midterm election, the voter rolls shall be destroyed following the certification of the vote. All voters must re-register before the next election, and no later than 60 days prior to election day.
2) Purple finger ink.

Should be very interesting to start to see the slow burn in Portlandia. The amount of addicts, murders and theft will absolutely skyrocket due to this new legislation. Posted by: Asshoes at November 04, 2020 01:35 PM (22mNy)
_______________

IIRC, there's an automatic recount when the vote is really close (has to be something like a difference of less than 1/10 of 1% of all votes cast), and no recount requests are allowed.

"Detroit: Democrat Operatives Are Threatening GOP Poll Watchers"

"Things are starting to get a bit hostile down here. Just watched a Dem operative call 2 police on a young sweet boy poll challenging for GOP. Intimidation of GOP poll challengers is ramping up.

Heard 35k ballots showed up late last night.

There are several entrances to the massive room with over 1,000 people working. Any janitor could drop off boxes of ballots and no one would even know.

Media has big presence in room. Waiting to call Biden winner.

The Dem operatives with no names or identification are walking around intimidating poll workers. The big line is to back away from table so you can't watch process. One woman warned me I was endangering the lives of the workers."

Bullshit.

Scanners at my polling place used to just show the number of ballots recorded. You knew your ballot was counted when the counter went up by one. We had a newer type of scanner this time. After the ballot is inserted, the screen says "Thank you. Your ballot has been recorded."

This scenario is beginning to look like early Japanese Navy pushes in the south pacific pre WW2.

Only way this gets avoided is PDT wins.

You get hundreds of people dying in the streets and/or drug dens. Which has its own cleanup costs.

However, the real damage is done BEFORE they die. Your hospital and doctor bills are paying for all the freeloaders who show up, your insurance premiums then rise accordingly, and the taxers tax you to help defray the costs in extra police and fire and every other which way the community is paying for these people.

So yeah, no. They won't die fast enough. You die from all the money it costs you first.

Posted by: Director Wray

That was true at my polling place too.

You HAD to wear surgical gloves to vote -- they wouldn't hand you the ballot until you put the gloves on.

The you were given a mini-pen -- short little ballpoint pen, about 3 inches long.

After voting, you had two options: Either throw the pen out in a special "bio-hazard" waste box, or keep the pen "as a souvenir."

But as afar as I know, they seemed to have enough mini-pens on hand.

My polling place was deserted, BTW. I think everyone in my entire area voted by mail. A huge room, and during the entire time I was there voting, 45 minutes, only ONE other voter came in. There were, like, 25 voting booths, all deserted. Most looked like they had never been used. I also saw only about six or seven pens into the bio-hard trash bin. And this was 3:00pm.

And if a blue state simply makes up a number and adds it to the Biden total to flip their state - how does that get stopped ?

I got plenty of "Trump always has a plan" in reply. Also several helpful suggestions to either get back on my meds or consider some. But I never got anything resembling a detailed answer. Just vague "in Trump we trust" slogans.
