In Senate Testimony, Jack Dorsey Commits Perjury

Ted Cruz interrogated Jack Dorsey over Twitter's censorship of the New York Post story, while "gleefully" allowing "journalists" to illegally spread Trump's alleged tax returns on Twitter.

Dorsey lied and claimed there was partisan bias in that decision. But that's hard to prove, and that's the lie they all tell fifty times a day. (And then they wonder why we're not bothered if Trump exaggerates the truth.)

Dorsey went on to falsely claim that Twitter was now permitting users to post the story.

Ted Cruz just tested that claim, and finds that Dorsey is lying. Again.

In a provable way.

Cruz's questioning of the liar and censor and election interferer Jack Dorsey is worth watching:

streiff also tried to link the story on twitter -- and was censored again. See the top link for that.

I mean it. I don't want to mean it, but so what?

Zuckerberg lied his ass off at his last congressional testimony. Google execs did, too. They told obvious, provable lies that anyone with a technical background knew were lies at the moment they were uttered, and that Congress could have proven with a modicum of work.

What happened to them? That's right. Nothing. Not a single damned thing.

36 This is kind of like the "retraction" method they use. Jack says that the story can be tweeted now. It's the first information put out, people absorb it and move on, believing that they can. Later after everyone has it already set in their minds one thing, twitter retracts the information and says oops my bad you actually can't. But then it's too late, the lie is out there and they already have the results they wanted. I learned about that method here.

Its obvious the debt means nothing to either party. Its obvious they just print money when they want to whether we have it or not. For those who don't know how AI works, the gist of it is that you create an algorithm, train it on sets of data to obtain a desired outcome, check that it is doing what you want (correctly identifying streetlights versus icecream trucks, for example), then unleash it in the real world on real-word data (e.g., social media posts).

So Big Tech can say that it is just AI doing all the censorship and up-ranking and down-ranking of news. But in reality, the AI is just doing what Big Tech programmed and taught the AI to do.

Why does the federal government bother collecting taxes at all?

Its obvious the debt means nothing to either party. Its obvious they just print money when they want to whether we have it or not. We've had Obama's retarded "stimulus" package and the "stimulus" during the shutdown and another on the way. All of those were a trillion or more. None of them were printed from money actually in the treasury from taxes.

Posted by: Christopher R Taylor at October 28, 2020 02:28 PM (KZzsI)

Your question is deadly accurate, and your points are valid.

It persists thanks only to the financial stupidity, mathematical incompetence, and mulish stubbornness of most of the American public.

Do you remember the child who could bend Spoons in the first Matrix movie? He said that the key was, There Is No Spoon. He was correct in that world; there was only the illusion of a Spoon, and you only had to manipulate the Illusion of it in order to change it however you wanted.

In our financial system today, Money is the Spoon. The key to understanding it at its most fundamental level is that, There Is No Money. There is only the Illusion of Money, and Government and the Fed manipulate that Illusion constantly.

But when everyone catches on to the game, just like with every Magic Trick, the Illusion will be over. My only hope is that the Tricksters can keep the illusion going for a few more years, until I can depart this stage and don't have to worry about it.

192 Inherent contempt
Under this process, the procedure for holding a person in contempt involves only the chamber concerned. Following a contempt citation, the person cited is arrested by the Sergeant-at-Arms for the House or Senate, brought to the floor of the chamber, held to answer charges by the presiding officer, and then subjected to punishment as the chamber may dictate (usually imprisonment for punishment, imprisonment for coercion, or release from the contempt citation).[16]

Concerned with the time-consuming nature of a contempt proceeding and the inability to extend punishment further than the session of the Congress concerned (under Supreme Court rulings), Congress created a statutory process in 1857. While Congress retains its "inherent contempt" authority and may exercise it at any time, this inherent contempt process was last used by the Senate in 1934, in a Senate investigation of airlines and the U.S. Postmaster.

Early OT.

What a mess.

Experts Now Saying Don't Mail Your Ballot; Vote in Person

The Democrats' ploys to draw out the ballot-counting process have largely failed across the country, so now, election and postal experts are saying it's already too late to mail your ballot. If you want your vote to count, you need to vote in person.

It appears that about 10 percent of all first-class mail is being delayed because of the massive volume of election mail. Despite extraordinary measures by the USPS to get every ballot where it needs to go to be counted, it won't be enough to ensure that every single ballot mailed before Election Day arrives in time to be counted.

This wouldn't have been a problem if Democrats hadn't terrified voters into thinking it was deadly to show up to vote in person.

Daily Caller:

"If you haven't requested a mail ballot yet, it's too late," David Becker, executive director of the Center for Election Innovation & Research, told The Post. "I don't care about the legal deadline; it's just too late in terms of getting it processed, getting it mailed to you and you being able to fill it out and return it."

He added: "You're just putting too much pressure on yourself. At this point, if you haven't requested a mail ballot yet, plan to vote in person and vote early, if possible."

Which is why I feel bad for him.

270 Experts Now Saying Don't Mail Your Ballot; Vote in Person

The Democrats' ploys to draw out the ballot-counting process have largely failed across the country, so now, election and postal experts are saying it's already too late to mail your ballot. If you want your vote to count, you need to vote in person.

Small news item today from Texas - in Tarrant County (Fort Worth) 1/3 of all of the mail in ballots received so far have been spoiled by various errors and have had to be discarded.

271 Don't worry. Big Tech is going to hire conservative outlets, like the Lib-donor funded Dispatch, to do some of the opinionchecking/factchecking.

If there's one thing you can say about Hayes, French, and Goldberg it's that they would never be willing to compromise their principles. Those e guys would never let a Dispatch opinonchecker/factchecker claim it was untrue that Biden/Harris support third trimester abortions and then let Facebook use that to squelch conservative ads ... wait, I mean they wouldn't do that for like more than 5 or 6 days at time in the run up to an election. Well, ok they might do that if a lib donor really wanted them to, but they'd feel bad about it afterward ... well say they felt bad about it.

But getting paid well for being a no-talent, fatass, lay-a-bout is also a principle of worthy of fighting for, maybe the only one.

There's a scene in Ghostbusters, where Venkman is having dinner with Dana (Sigourney's character) at a fancy restaurant, and the other three burst in, covered in goo... now that I think about it, it might be G II.

Anyhoo, they're all excited about whatever it was they discovered. Meanwhile all the other patrons in the restaurant are absolutely appalled at these nasty men barging in on their dinner like that.

To which Venkman says "You're scaring the straights."

Also, he takes his stuff to the authorities, this is not just 'look at me' online antics. He got Disrupt J20 (DC antifa) people arrested/stopped attacks on the inauguration and an inauguration eve event. He worked with the Google whistleblower Zach Voorhees to turn over a ton of internal memos to the DoJ, resulting in the current lawsuit. I would expect he is turning over voter fraud info to state authorities.

Not surprised
here in NJ its a 3 step process
1 - complete ballot by filling in the dots
2 - stuff ballot into envelope, seal, but dont tear off the certification flap, sign and date it.
3 - Then stuff THAT envelope into the outer mailing envelope and either mail at USPS or drop in county ballot box

I can easily imagine 1/3 dumb yoots, the elderly, or non-english speakers screwing up the process.

392 The news that Obama and Biden will do a joint appearance in Michigan is the final piece of the puzzle showing how the election will go.

The Biden campaign knows that their only path to win is holding WI, PA, MN, and MI (and the rest of the blue states).

WI and PA may turn their way if they catch a break.

But MI is where they are losing, and without MI the rest don't matter.

They have to go try to turn it back and try to win with low propensity voters going to the polls on election day.

Spending the most important final day of the campaign in a state that you thought you had sewn up is not a sign of strength.

I'm betting Trump will be in PA on that day. Or maybe a 3 state swing, PA, MI, and WI.

AND I just checked the schedule. Trump will hit MI, WI, and MN on Friday.

This is over, Trump is playing for Minnesota in his final weekend.

He got sent packing and now Scott Foval (He/Him/His) advertises his services as a Life Coach, although the pandemic has hit him hard. He is furloughed from his current job as a concierge at Radisson Blu Minneapolis Downtown. In his previous job as a Business Class Host, he was responsible for
Breakfast buffet setup, table service, teardown, cleaning, dishes, lounge concierge, cross-training for other associates, and service recovery for Radisson Blu Business Class guests and visitors.

It's not 'censorship', unfortunately. It's copywrited material, and if Fox asked for the show's deletion, youtube has no choice but to comply.

What's interesting though is I watch Tucker on youtube most nights after the show has aired, supplied by various uploaders. There are usually 4-8 uploaders of the show each night.

For the Bobulinski show, they were all missing in action.

Let's call it selective enforcement.

Yeah, almost certainly Fox requested the takedown.

Corporate media makes good money on Youtube these days. They don't want anyone else cashing in on their material.

Which is fine, I guess. Nowhere near as bad as music companies taking revenue for Youtubers who put up a 10-20 minute video with four accidental seconds of some song playing in the background.

478 There may be other crimes by Jack and the army of leftists that write the algorithms to censor and shadow ban patriots and blockade bad news. It is a publicly traded company, being covertly/privately used for election interference.

If I work for WalMart, can I use work time to campaign for Biden right in the store? WalMart puts up big Vote Biden signs, no Trump voters allowed, or they are charged with a Trump tax, money used to support Biden?

That is theft and fraud and ?? probably a few other crimes. It is not "muh private company". It is publicly traded with specific SEC and other rules, and with specific contracts with every user about being fair and neutral.

Beyond that there is probably more, in that they are pushing lies about Trump ... not being a neutral provider of info ... Jack perjury is just part of the criminal behavior. imo

497 On the topic of screwing up the process - I said previously, my wife and I went down together to vote at the Early Voting location here. They have a new system which I like, it retains a paper copy. You walk in, give your ID to the person in charge, they check your name on the rolls, then they give you a blank ballot (nothing on it yet) You go to the booth, put your ballot in the slot, and then make all your selections on the Electronic Screen. You hit "Ok" and it prints out your selections on the ballot, which you then take and put in the ballot box on your way out.

So we do that and head to the ballot box and we get there and my wife has nothing in her hands. Supervisor asks "where's your ballot?" And she says "I thought we were supposed to put it back into the machine!!!" So I just do a facepalm while the Supervisor goes and figures out how to get it back.

she's not real big on technical processes.

512 The thing I can't work out is why Twitter got so big to begin with. Its nothing special, in fact its kind of the opposite of special or interesting. But for some reason, celebrities and journalists jumped on it and it became the go-to place for quick reactions to everything.
Posted by: Christopher R Taylor at October 28, 2020 02:55 PM (KZzsI)
++++++
Facebook is nothing special, either. Neither was MySpace before it, or Friendster before that.

The thing that makes every social networking site successful is the same - and it has nothing to do with features, gimmick, quality or anything else (to a point - it does have to actually work).

The secret sauce in every single one of these sites that succeed is the same: network effects. The key to a successful social media site is the number of active users. There is no point to joining a social media site where no one else goes. Once you hit a certain critical mass of users, it because in essence the *only* choice because that's where everyone is.

Facebook got there by targeting - to the point of exclusion at the beginning - college kids. It worked on me. I had a Facebook account when I was in college (first year of the extended beta, I think) because it *immediately* became the only place to learn about parties and events. The student union bulletin board died the year Facebook came. MySpace *tried* to get there in the open world and came very close - it was neck-in-neck for a while - but ultimately got ploughed under the Facebook juggernaut.

Twitter wasn't the first (or at the time, best) "micro-blogging" platform, but they were able to seat users more effectively and their membership was driven hard by celebrities getting into contests as to number of followers, who would hit a million first, etc. (remember that?).

Once you have the network and become the generic stopping point for that type of social media, everyone else dies off and it is very hard to try to assault the power of the massive user networks. It also lends itself to natural monopoly (which is why I think forcible breakup - and probably cyclical forcible breakup every time it reconstitutes and becomes a big problem again - is probably necessary).
