Two conflicting dates that I have seen.
The FBI originally got the laptop in October, 2019. Rudy said that he got a hold of the hard drive emails a little over 7 months ago, according to his appearance on Newsmax last night.
So yes, the FBI had the laptop, months before the Trump impeachment.
You know, while Nancy's House was impeaching Trump at the beginning few months of last year, there was something else going on that could have been a better use of her time.

I don't think affecting early voting is the point. Trump isn't trying to persuade the early voters. This is targeted toward election day turn out.
He wants a massive base of voters at the polls on Nov. 3rd. Having them show up early doesn't help.
Reinforcing that the MSM is part of the swamp and lying to the voters just pisses people off and gets them motivated to show up and stand in line.

You don't just "sign up". You talk to a guy, present ID and HS diploma, fill out paperwork. Then, a few days or so later, they take you to MEPS to get a physical. If you pass, and all your paperwork is good, they swear you in-- usually in groups, at the end of the day. Then they take you home, and you get a ship date.

In the past, I have raised concerns regarding the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States CFIUS decision making process, most notably with respect to its approval of the Uranium One transaction where the Obama administration ceded some U.S. uranium production capacity to the Russian government. Today, I write to express concern about another Obama era CFIUS approved transaction which gave control over Henniges, an American maker of anti vibration technologies with military applications, to a Chinese government owned aviation company and China based investment firm with established ties to the Chinese government. As with the Uranium One transaction, there is cause for concern that potential conflicts of interest could have influenced CFIUS approval of the Henniges transaction. Accordingly, Congress and the public must fully understand the decision making process that led to the Henniges approval and the extent to which CFIUS fully considered the transactions national security risks.
For example, one of the companies involved in the Henniges transaction was a billion dollar private investment fund called Bohai Harvest RST BHR.
BHR was formed in November of 2013 by a merger between the Chinese government linked firm, Bohai Capital, and a company named Rosemont Seneca Partners. Rosemont Seneca was reportedly formed in 2009 by Hunter Biden, the son of then Vice President Joe Biden, Chris Heinz, the stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry, and others.
The direct involvement of Mr. Hunter Biden and Mr. Heinz in the acquisition of Henniges by the Chinese government creates a potential conflict of interest. Both are directly related to high ranking Obama administration officials. The Department of State, then under Mr. Kerrys leadership, is also a CFIUS member and played a direct role in the decision to approve the Henniges transaction. The appearance of potential conflicts in this case is particularly troubling given Mr. Bidens and Mr. Heinzs history of investing in and collaborating with Chinese companies, including at least one posing significant national security concerns. This history with China pre and post dates the 2015 Henniges transaction.
For example, in December of 2013, one month after Rosemont Senecas merger with Bohai Capital to form BHR, Hunter Biden reportedly flew aboard Air Force Two with his father, then Vice President Biden to China. While in China, he helped arrange for Jonathan Li, CEO of Bohai Capital, to shake hands with Vice President Biden. Afterward, Hunter Biden met with Li for reportedly a social meeting. After the China trip, BHRs business license was approved. In December of 2014, BHR also reportedly became an investor in China General Nuclear Power Corp CGN, a state owned energy company involved in building nuclear reactors. In April of 2016, the U.S. Department of Justice DOJ charged CGN with conspiracy to unlawfully engage and participate in the production and development of special nuclear material outside the United States which could cause significant damage to our national security. Then, in August of 2015, Gemini Investments Limited, another Chinese government linked entity, purchased 75 percent of Rosemont Reality, a sister company of Rosemont Seneca. Rosemont Realty became Gemini Rosemont and it reportedly focused on purchasing American real estate.
In September 2015, BHR joined with a subsidiary of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China AVIC to acquire Henniges for 600 million. AVIC acquired 51 percent of the company, and BHR acquired 49 percent. According to reports, the acquisition of Henniges by BHR and AVIC was the biggest Chinese investment into US automotive manufacturing assets to date. Because the acquisition gave Chinese companies direct control of Henniges anti vibration technologies, the transaction was reviewed by CFIUS. CFIUS approved the transaction despite reports that in 2007, years before BHR teamed up with AVICs subsidiary, AVIC was reportedly involved in stealing sensitive data regarding the Joint Strike Fighter program. AVIC later reportedly incorporated the stolen data into Chinas J 20 and J 31 aircraft.

It's semi-public. People do talk(very hard for a conspiracy of any substantial size to be truly secret) but are disregarded. Not all theories are correct, like the Trump-Russia one. It's frequently possible to tell which ones are nonsense and which are possible. In the case of the Russia collusion theory, the connections to make it work simply weren't there. In the case of Ukraine, there's both the reputation and all of the connections and public records of employment there.

Why were none of the MSM interested in finding out why Joe Biden, whose biggest campaign donor was the bank MBNA, was called "the senator from MBNA" by his senate colleagues? Why did none of them raise any red flags when Joe Biden's wet-behind-the-ears, 20-something son, with ZERO experience, training, or knowledge about the banking industry, was hired for a 6-figure-a-year, no-show job at MBNA?
The Biden corruption has long been hiding in plain sight.
If we had a media that wasn't a bunch of corrupt dumb-asses themselves, Biden's blatant corruption would have been made known to the public years ago, and Joe Biden would not have won re-election to the senate, or become VP, or be running for president now.

If I recall that suit, basically it came down to this: the department of agriculture gives out loans to farmers, because, sure, why not?
Historically, fewer black farmers got these USDA loans then white farmers. Thus, systemic racism.
So any farmer or POTENTIAL FARMER who was impacted by that history of systemic racism was eligible to receive money.

McCain, as terrible a campaign as he ran, actually had an edge after he brought Palin onto the ticket - it shored up his support with conservatives.
I don't believe that America was really ready to have an untested neophyte take office, as telegenic as he was. Major props to his campaign, as was noted, in getting that message across, but Obama still hadn't closed the sale with the electorate.
McCain blew that by stopping campaigning to get TARP passed. By doing that, he gave control over the fate of the campaign to Pelosi and Reid. They pass TARP, and McCain is a hero. It would have been political malpractice on their part to hand a win to him, so they didn't.

I felt personally that the 2012 election was a better run campaign. Romney was a more competent candidate than McCain and O could not run on hope anymore but had to support a crappy record. GOTV probably made the difference along with Big Tech in that race.
O in 2008 caught lightning in that he had a bad primary opponent in Hilldawg, and a bad general election candidate in McCain coupled with GWB's surrender of his presidency for the last two years. Add the historic nature of his symbolic candidacy, his GOTV was swamped by popular enthusiasms.

1) And "investor" signs a contract with the publishing company to front the money. he signs some silly agreement that, in exchange for $5 million, he gets 10% of the "profit".
2) The publishing company signs a contract with the politician and provides a ghost writer to do all the work. The contract will have a guaranteed payment of $5 million and 10% of the gross.
3) Book gets published. Nobody buys it.
4) The political campaign for the politician uses campaign funds to buy millions of copies, making it a bestseller. Books get sent to donors to the campaign, and any extras get pulped.
5) Money got funneled to the publisher (who can't lose). He makes $10 million. Politician gets the $5 million plus 10% of the gross from the sales, which was paid for by campaign donations. Say they clear $10 million. The "investor" loses most of his money, but it was just a bribe anyway - they never expected to make a dime on the deal.

I've posted about it before, but one of the funniest real-life moments I've ever been fortunate enough to see was a bunch of leftists at a city hall meeting protesting something that was going to happen with the water supply because it was going to go into a local waterway (you know, the way water works), and the superintendent of the wastewater plant getting up to speak and asking the individuals to please come up and share with the community how much of X and Y they have personally taken out of the water, because he was responsible for removing this many hundreds of tons of it every year.
Utter humiliation of those idiots with a smile on his face. Not mean, just knowledgeable and unwilling to listen to bullsh*t.

I was mildly disappointed, because Quibi was carrying the reboot of Reno 911. I hadn't bothered signing up yet -- Quibi was only released in april 2020 -- so I didn't see anything. But wow, that was fast. They say it was killed by COVID because it was all app, no desktop, meant to be used on the go -- but there's no going because of the lockdowns.

From what I understand they print books, and libraries, schools etc buy multiple copies for most of the sales. Other sales are by people who want to donate to the campaign, but have maxed out. So they buy 500 copies and store or junk them.
There was a scandal back in the early 90s where one of the big Democrat congressmen had a ton of his books bought by people as backdoor donations and he just stored them in boxes in the Capitol basement.

I was mildly disappointed, because Quibi was carrying the reboot of Reno 911. I hadn't bothered signing up yet -- Quibi was only released in april 2020 -- so I didn't see anything. But wow, that was fast. They say it was killed by COVID because it was all app, no desktop, meant to be used on the go -- but there's no going because of the lockdowns.
