FL worries me the most - that's 29 EVs Trump can hardly afford to lose. 3 major unfavorable changes since last election:
1.) Felons reinstated to vote
2.) Many Puerto Rican refugees from that hurricane a few years back are now residents and eligible to vote (Trump villain-ized there)
3.) Unknowns about seniors freaking out and emotional voting decisions amidst China lung aids.

I think when you factor in how she has the support of all of the Tech Billionaires in California, and especially of their money, her pick becomes quite clear. It would have languished in film-festival obscurity, but after winning several awards (of course), it was "picked up" by Netfilx, who are now showing it. 1. He had a brain anuerysm years ago which is like a tiny bomb going off in the brain. The area where the aneurysm happed tends to suffer a lot of damage, and any personality trait that someone has becomes more pronounced.
B. To fix the aneurysm requires brain surgery, and anybody who has brain surgery is susceptible to seizures for the rest of their lives, so, they are put on anti seizure meds. France has a LOT of guilt from WWII. They collaborated with the Nazis like mofos; even the Nazis couldn't believer their enthusiasm for rounding up Jews. The Resistance was essentially the French Communist Party, and only really got going ca. 1943 or so.
If you can find it, watch "The Sorrow and the Pity," a French film about the Occupation that provides a brutally honest assessment.

The thing is that the French are pretty nationalistic though. The only Europeans with a guilt complex are the Germans. Swedes import migrants as a form of virtue-signalling their "moral superpower"(yeah they actually call themselves that) status.

I thought the film was nice. Yes, the characters were all over-the-top unbelievable. But in the end they were a family who loved each other, and I think that was the message.
