It's certainly a fanciful composition with the lady holding a puppet with a realistic face, the face in the table cloth, and the way she is staring so intently and with a degree of amusement at the puppet. I feel I should attach importance to the yellow background but don't know what it is.
This image invites a lot of questions about what is going on. It is strange but effective.

It seems like a goofy one-off by an artist with time on his hands. He put a lot of care in the woman's face though. I think that's why it looks so disjointed to me.

There are some very nice people there. Several times my wife and I running at Disney Half marathons ended up sharing dining tables with older couples. I guess they tend to drive down on day 1 tour a park, spend the night, and tour another park then head home.
One couple even got us a table at the steak house in Canada (Epcot) that is books a year in advance.

Well that comedy ran for quite a few seasons so it's probably considered a success. One of the writers was the "comedian" Whitney Cummings. And if you've ever seen her loud mouthed "comedy" you probably can guess that she was probably supposed to have Kat's role. And her "jokes" are clearly there. She had her own show for a while called Whitney and it TANKED.
Kat Dennings is probably looking more towards movie comedy roles now.

My SIL and her husband live in one called The Greens. All the yard work is cared for, as is exterior maintenance. They basically play mah-jong or hang out at the clubhouse all day. If they get STDs, its because the cleaning ladies provide other services when the old gals are at the club house.

When I left my profession about 8 years ago, I was having some issues that required some mental health intervention. The doc suggested I try to get a government job. I assumed it was for those reasons. Low expectations and difficult if not impossible to be fired.

Hour north of Orlando - very Republican - areas in The Villages have "town centers" where seniors entertain themselves and family/guests - they live in village areas like Sumpter Island, Carolinas, Pinellas, etc, etc...lots and lots of golf courses/restaurants and everyone rides around in supped up golf carts.
My Dad has lived there for over a decade...

Some 65 year old woman came in (kinda hot and in shape) and started doing standing splits on this adductor machine in front of all the old men on exerbikes. What a show that was. I bet she does that every day at the same time judging from the 30 guys who left 2 minutes after she was done with her show

I played a bunch of gigs there over the years. One time we played a lunch-time gig and while we were setting up, a lady passed out drunk and had to be ambulanced to the care center at 11:00 am.

My SIL and her husband live in one called The Greens. All the yard work is cared for, as is exterior maintenance. They basically play mah-jong or hang out at the clubhouse all day. If they get STDs, its because the cleaning ladies provide other services when the old gals are at the club house.

I think I'm getting the gist of it, from the various comments. Yes, I woke up this morning not being aware such a place existed.
I don't think my life is better off now for having been educated.
And yes, one thing I do know, most senior living facilities are rife with promiscuous sex, because of the toxic combination of penis hardening medications, loose morals, depleted mental capacity for moral clarity, too much time on one's hands, and the rather twisted notion that being "a senior" is SUPPOSED to mean it's time to have "fun."
Not just STD problems in these places, prostitution and sexual assaults as well.

Aside from serving as vectors for all sorts of social diseases, denizens of The Villages-like communities appear to devote a great deal of time to deciding upon when they'll consume the leftovers from their meals in the communal dining areas. Of course, those are closed at the moment.
How do I know? That's my in-laws' life now and has been for close to five years.

I was impressed by all the custom golf carts there. Bunch of '55-'57 Chevy fins, flame paint jobs, chrome wheels and monster sound systems. Oh, and coolers in the back next to the golf clubs.
