Federal Court Judges and Jihadist Simps Overturn Death Penalty for Boston Marathon Bomber and Leftist Heartthrob Djokhar Tsarnaev

Simp-athy for the devil.

His sentence is thrown out because AWFL leftist women consider him good bean-flicking material.

A federal appeals court Friday threw out Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's death sentence in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, saying the judge who oversaw the case did not adequately screen jurors for potential biases.

A three-judge panel of the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ordered a new penalty-phase trial on whether the 27-year-old Tsarnaev should be executed for the attack that killed three people and wounded more than 260 others.

"But make no mistake: Dzhokhar will spend his remaining days locked up in prison, with the only matter remaining being whether he will die by execution," the judges said, more than six month after arguments were heard in the case.

You're trying to save this monster's life. This is all just PR.

Tsarnaev's lawyers acknowledged at the beginning of his trial that he and his older brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, set off the two bombs at the marathon finish line. But they argued that Dzhokar Tsarnaev is less culpable than his brother, who they said was the mastermind behind the attack.

Meanwhile, federal judges are charging hard to keep Michael Flynn -- a man the DOJ has determined was framed by the previous corrupt administration -- in legal limbo and legal jeopardy forever.

He, too, will probably die while still entangled in federal criminal process.

#ButGorsuch, NeverTrump says, while fighting for the third term of the man they allegedly opposed, Barack Obama.

Reminder: Here's a picture of the bloody aftermath of Djokhar's terrorist attack on civilians.

When I lived in Boston I used to go to the Marathon every year and stand pretty much right where the first bomb went off. My sister used to work in the building and her company used to encourage employees to bring their families to the Marathon and used the company facilities since it's right near the finish line.

They set out to maim and kill random people for no reason at all. I have no problem at all with the death penalty in this case.

99% of violent criminals never feel ANY remorse. They almost universal high sky-high self-esteem that cannot be punctured, no matter how hard you may try. The almost invariably continue their psychopathic ways within the prison environment; wherever they are, they at out their psychopathies on others. They cannot be "fixed," and they cannot be made to "suffer."

362 But he's alive. And just being alive is innately a feeling of joy. I guarantee he jerks off and feels sexual pleasure. He fantasizes about being triumphant in any number of ways and derives pleasure from that. He probably has access to TV or entertainment, and gets pleasure from that. Etc. Etc.

Why does he deserve to feel ANY pleasure?

The only way to prevent that -- the only sure way -- is execution.
Posted by: zombie at July 31, 2020 05:57 PM (HEEq1)

Yeah, there's an argument there, but execution nowadays frankly is no biggie in my opinion. You fall asleep, just like going under for surgery, except you don't wake up. BFD. Hanging, firing squad, gas chamber, or the electric chair, another story.

385 Third, one of the reasons to keep the death penalty is that if it ever abolished the next target of the usual suspects will be life without parole. When that is abolished they will target life sentences which have the possibility of parole.

Agreed.

Plus, you need to have the ultimate sanction for someone doing life who murders someone in prison.

In addition, threatening with the death penalty can get co-conspirators to rat each other out.

-----------

Already a target.
Posted by: Hadrian the Seventh

In the EU and the UK, it's nearly impossible to get life without parole.

Even Anders Brevik, who murdered something like 70+ people, got a limited sentence of something like 40 years. Serial rapist-killers who rape, torture and kill a dozens little killers in the UK get non-life sentences.

getting rid of the death penalty is a very slippery slope; almost immediately, they go after life without parole, then they go after life LIFE parole, then they cap the max sentence at 30 or 40 years, then they allow people to serve 1/3 of their sentences before being released, etc. The average murderer - -first-degree murderer -- in England serves 12 years at most, even after receiving the maximum possible sentence.

(I think they technically still do have life sentences int he UK, but they are handed out with extreme rarity.)

Even though the left :loses the argument" on any number of issues, they just "keep persisting" Black Knight-style ("Just a nick"), until they ultimately get what they want.

In this case, what they want is a complete end to all incarceration. "Smash the prison-industrial complex."

and AHA the liberals shouted! Life in prison is WORSE than being executed!

and then they would tell us, you know that the death penalty is unconstitutional, it's cruel and unusual punishment! And if the death penalty is cruel and unusual punishment and life without parole is worse, then that must also be unconstitutional!

see how easy it is the "think" like a liberal? Also, if the lifer takes a swing at a guard and the guard decks his, his rights were violated to he must be let free.
