CNN's Genius Don LeMon: The Bible Teaches Us That Jesus Was Not Perfect
He made the claim that we all know from the Bible that even Jesus wasn't perfect in order to strengthen the case for pulling down statues of the Founding Fathers. If Jesus wasn't perfect -- and I mean, look it up, it's called "The New Testament" -- then obviously we should trash George Washington.
He said this to alleged believing Catholic Chris Cuomo, who did not correct him. It's not just that Don LeMon doesn't think Jesus was perfect. He's obviously a secular type who loves sin. It's that he believes the Bible "admits" that Jesus wasn't perfect. I don't know how anyone can grow up in America, Christian or not, and not know that, per the Bible, Jesus was in fact... without sin. That was kind of his Defining Trait. But here's this drooling box-ticker, pontificating away. This would be like me saying, "Even Ahab admitted, you know, the whale's not that bad a chap, all things considered." I don't have to have read Moby Dick to understand the most basic notions of it. I don't expect the atheist Don LeMon to believe in Christianity, but he should at least know the basic plot if he's going to expound on it while wearing enough make-up to make a corpse sweat.Believe everything these retards say -- they're in The Media.

We have a Catholic Priest who is a pastor at a neighboring town's Parish. In a homily two weeks ago he mentioned the Little Sisters of the Poor case, the other SCOTUS case dealing with religious freedom and how what we believe in as Catholics, as Christians is under attack.
There are clerics out there who will speak the truth/Truth. Way to far and few between, but they are there. If you are lucky to have one, you have hit the jackpot.

It is a LOT worse than that, I am so pissed off I can't see straight, since I KNEW this was what they had planned. See the sidebar - Sullivan waited until there was less than 1 day left before it became final, and then made his request. Now a friend of his on the circuit will give him a stay, and the circuit will probably take a couple of months to make a decision.
this is why I did NOT want to do any high-fives over this ending, I could see this coming.
and then - IF the Circuit, after thinking about it for a couple months, decides to rehear the case en banc, they will probably set the re-hearing for next year some time, which will give President Biden (or maybe President Susan Rice by that time) plenty of opportunity to re-initiate the prosecution and moot the case.

It actually depends on what the "sources" are saying. Sometimes sources say things to keep people pacified.

1) Straw man. No one says the FF were perfect.
2) Even if we accept his (false) premise, it undermines his argument. No, mortal men are *not* perfect...and neither were the Founding Fathers. We don't erect statues to perfect men. The statues represent the *good* that the men (and women) accomplished--not the flaws those people had.
If we cast in stone only those who are without sin, then we will have as few statues left as those who accused the harlot.
