Biden: Believe All Women (Except The Lying Whore Accusing Me)

Education Secretary Molly DeVos announced that she would overturn the Obama-era rule that anyone accused in college kangaroo courts must prove their own innocence, and were assumed guilty otherwise.

Biden, unbelievably, rushed to say he'd return to the presumed guilty standard. Even as he claims he himself must not be presumed guilty.

This is incoherent, even for Biden.

Former Vice President Joe Biden said Wednesday that if he's elected president, he will reverse a rule issued by Education Secretary Molly DeVos aimed at bolstering protections for students who are accused of sexual assault on university campuses.

In a statement, Biden said the new rule was an effort by the Trump administration to "shame and silence" survivors of sexual assault.

"It's wrong," Biden said. "And, it will be put to a quick end in January 2021, because as president, I’ll be right where I always have been throughout my career -- on the side of survivors, who deserve to have their voices heard, their claims taken seriously and investigated, and their rights upheld."

I wouldn't call it incoherent. It is smack in line with the party platform.

The Democrats have *zero* intention on moving on from Presumed Guilty or Believe All Accuser bumper stickers. They will go back to it the second it's convenient, and while we're all screaming "but what about", their noise machine will simply drown us out.

They don't care about being called "hypocrites". It means less than zero to them. They are shameless.

Even in his diminished capacity, Biden knows that every person understands the rules: there are no rules for people like Joe Biden.

He clearly meant he'd reinstate the rule for people who aren't well-connected members of the Democrat Party.

Whether it's these rules, or any law passed Congress, Democrat immunity from legal penalties is the core principle of American jurisprudence, and has been for decades.

Water is wet, the sky is blue, and laws don't apply to them. It goes without saying anymore.

Never gonna happen, Nurse. If he is the nominee, there will be no debates. They are tradition, not law - and he will claim COVID or fairness or something else.

If he's the nominee, they're going to come up with some alternate scheme to avoid a live debate - like written questions with prepared answers read by a neutral party or something. Trump will rightly refuse such a scheme, and so there will be no debate and it will be his fault because he's unreasonable.

If you read the article - I know - this is an early stage procedural change, while the military assesses any potential long-term disabilities associated with the virus. That rationale is sound.
If it appears that the rationale is unfounded (e.g., no long-term disability), I don't expect such a policy to continue.

There is NOTHING feminist in the assumption that women are incapable of expressing their desires. Nothing. Not one damn thing.

As an occasional lurker/commenter I'm not always up on the rules? Does the 100 comment rule mean no off- thread comments until after number 100? Can number 100 be off-thread or does it start at one hundred? What if a particular numbered comment has more than one thought/subject - does it count as one or two? Before 100 can you post an off- thread comment as long as there is an on- topic comment in the same numbered box? This is mind-numbing.....

475 I hear you, but timing is critical. Once we get within a few months of the election, anything Barr and Durham do will be "nothing but politics". And if Trump loses then it's game over.

You can have the best battle plan in the world but if you wait too long to execute you're probably going to lose.

476 What does Joe Pientka, the mystery FBI agent at the center of the Flynn and Carter Page cases have on other DOJ/FBI officials, that he, with the help of his lawyer wife, has been able to relocate to California and keep Congress at bay ?

478 131 There is an island. On this island are two tribes:

Former Delaware Senators,
and
Former Vice Presidents.

Former Delaware Senators always tell the truth.

Former Vice Presidents always tell lies.

There is no way to tell the two tribes apart just from looking at them.

You wash up on the island on your jerry-built raft, and you want to find anyone to help get back to civilization. You take the only path into the jungle and you come to a sign at a fork on the path.

The sign has an arrow pointing down one path with the words, "Village of Former Delaware Senators This Way." Next to it is an arrow pointing down the other path, with the words, "Village of Former Vice Presidents this way."

Underneath the official printing is some graffiti. One scrawl says, "This sign was painted by a Former Vice President. Don't believe it!" Underneath that graffiti is another scrawl that says, "The graffiti above was written by a Former Delaware Senator. Believe it! However, this sentence was not written by a Former Delaware Senator."

Which way do you go?

You have ten minutes. Show your work.

All threads become open threads at 100, and Gun Threads at 200.

In our family, serving has been a tradition since the Revolutionary War.

We span all the Services, and the enlistments range from one and done to a career. Even through the bad times because things ALWAYS change and competent personnel are needed lest we fall back into the same situations.

So with our (on the large side) clan I don't foresee any change.

Patience. I'm old enough to remember when the leadership of the FBI was

all fired and I was told nothing else would happen. Yet there is an

ongoing criminal investigation that includes all of them.

If
anything substantive (and public) happens in this term, I would be
amazed. I've always expected it to really be a 2nd term thing - but you
have to get things going in this term.

Given Tara liked, admired and respected him, Biden could have treated her properly, and had her blowing him under his desk for the next five years; but it's not in his nature to treat women right. His behavior of sniffing and grabbing shoulders and 'nice rack' comments is pure misogynist aggression.
