Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Authoritarian Democrat Party Punishes Two Black Office-Holders for WrongthinkKarent Whitslett, the Detroit lawmaker who said that she was cured of covid by hydroxychloroquine. Detroit Democrats plan to vote Saturday to censure and bar any future endorsements of a Democratic lawmaker who credited President Donald Trump with advocating for the drug that she said cured her of COVID-19. State Rep. Karen Whitsett, D-Detroit, broke protocol by meeting with President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence during an April 14 meeting of COVID-19 survivors, during which she credited hydroxychloroquine for saving her life. "Thank you for everything that you have done," Whitsett told Trump at the meeting. "I did not know that saying thank you had a political line. … I'm telling my story and my truth, and this how I feel and these are my words." ... The admonition means she will not get the group’s endorsement for this year nor will she be able to engage in the group’s activities for the next two election cycles.Georgia state rep Vernon Jones said he was leaving the Democrat plantation -- but then received so much vitriol and harassment from Democrats he said he would resign his seat. Now, thanks to an outpouring of support, he says he'll keep his seat.

Mass testing is the most anti-science idea ever. Schools tried that year ago. Testing healthy, active kids. The point was never to help the kids on drugs but to catch them. False positives through the roof.
What is the point of testing a healthy person with no temperature. It just breaks down the system for those that need to be tested so that can quarantine. Hospitals have needed to change for about 20 years. Same for assisted living centers. You dont need 13 people visiting Grandma after her hip surgery. Background noise, like maybe 2 flus in one year. Sucks, but what are the other options? We were never going to be able to shelter until everyone was vaccinated. Missed the last post, but Minnesota is definitely not past its peak in Coronavirus. Today we set new higher records in:
New Cases - 221 Hospitalized Cases - 164 Deaths -21 Cases in ICU are down, possibly because we had 40 of our 200 total deaths in the last two days. It is going to be a bad week or two in Minnesota. The only good news is Minnesota is finally unfucked their testing programs, and realized they can do 20,000 tests per day (I think the Feds slapped them upside the head a few times), AND They are going to try to actually do 20,000 tests per day. The were usually jacking around and doing less than 1,500 tests per day. Up until yesterday, they hadn't even done 50,000 tests TOTAL. And yes, most of our deaths are the old and infirm from Nursing Homes. Posted by: rd at April 23, 2020 06:50 PM (+0uDE) 388

The crack docs around here immediately found the fucking staph infection in her cranial shunt. They immediately removed it, put in a temporary external one, and started pounding vancomycin straight into her heart. Infection is clear as of today, new shunt (likely) will be placed Monday after several more days of clear cultures. That fever probably saved her from severe brain damage, since she had no other external symptoms that anything was wrong. 300 Er, did Birx just say that it's good to let a fever go?
Posted by: Methos A lot of Dr.s are coming around to the idea that fever does no harm in adults except make them feel bad, but it does help the immune system. There is some contention, since febrile seizures are a thing but I hear some say it is very very rare for adults, so no worries. For children, seizures are much more of a problem so I have not heard any Dr. recommend not treating fever in children. It is well known that some virus do very poorly during fever. Malaria was once used to treat syphilis, (and once cured, you cure the malaria) so we know fever is bad for virus and the theory is that it is very good for immune system generrally. Posted by: Methos at April 23, 2020 06:55 PM (kOpft) The precedent is the Detroit City bankruptcy, where the Judge cut pensions back drastically. Bankruptcy Judges have to be the most unemotional and hard nosed Judges in the country, since they are primarily Accountants. There either is money, or there is not, and if there is not enough money, *everyone* who is owed gets their claims cut back to meet what is there. Also, a quirk of Bankruptcy Law that makes those Judges so powerful is that a Federal Bankruptcy Judge has the authority to override ALL commercial and contract law, in order to implement his rulings. The reason is simple - in these cases, There Is NO Money. Everyone has real good claims, but - There Is NO Money. Bankruptcy Judge gets to sort it out. I think if they get serious about funding those pensions with taxes, more people with the means to flee are going to as well, which makes the math worse. In the Detroit Bankruptcy, I believe there was a lawsuit claiming that because of either the City Charter or the Michigan Constitution (don't feel like looking it up) the Pension Cut was illegal. The ruling was quick and simple - it was a Federal Judge in a Federal Bankruptcy case, decided under Federal Law, and any State Law or State Constitutional provisions were irrelevant. Posted by: Tom Servo at April 23, 2020 07:24 PM (V2Yro) 591
IL pension obligations (created by successive Dem legislatures and governors) is killing it just like pension obligations are killing California and NY budgets. Any time anyone tried to fix it - they were taken to court (state supreme) and lost. It's contract, baby. That is why federal action is needed.

Posted by: runner at April 23, 2020 07:21 PM (zr5Kq) I looked up the Arkansas case yesterday - they never declared Bankruptcy, but they did default on all of their debts in 1933. It meant that they were completely cut off from all borrowing until well into the 1950's - no check could be written unless Arkansas already had cash in the bank to pay for it. I agree with Jones that it is a Dem plantation, but he is actually stereotypically corrupt at the same time, and we don't need that as one of our champions. I know the right has a knee jerk every time a black pol says something like that, which involves immediately lionizing them without doing the necessary homework, but we've always been gullible in this regard, because we're so desperate for a black hero.

Clues and free to boot !
The enviro-movement eternal scare, chicken little; end of the world, crisis management to stampede fools. Has clearly and unquestionably moved to the co-vid (Chinese flu) flu virus movement. Denying and seeking to protect the perps like the twin towers- 9-11. Perpetual fer mongering and evidence tampering just like the enviro nazi's. S.O.S. just another government seeking to seize dictator like control. Control like this nation has never seen before. CONSTITUTION TRAMPLED ! Hitler must be sooo envious ! Healthcare people i know says the manipulation of 'flu facts' going on is just outrageous. HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF AGAIN !
