Eric Swallowall to Collusion Truther Jake Tapper: Yes, We Might Well Impeach Trump Again Over Barr's Overruling of Mueller's Rogue Prosecutors

And this isn't just any old Democrat saying this -- this is Eric Swallowall, former Democrat presidential candidate.

(I mean, he was. Technically.)

Nope. Firing Mueller would have given the sackless RINOs in the Senate enough reason to nobly vote for Impeachment. Maybe not enough to reach 2/3rds, but enough to really weaken Trump and prevent the USMCA, the China trade deal, and being able to use defense dollars for building the wall.

I get that talking to the FBI leaves you open to mixing up a date or something, but I just cannot see Roger Stone as threatening a witness nor having deep enough pockets to buy anyone, so did they charge witness tampering for talking to friends "you remember this the same way don't you?" This deep state persecution of folks that dared to support Trump is scary and depressing.

136 95 So FNM radio version said Roger Stone was convicted of perjury/lying to FBI or congress *and* witness tampering. Seriously, how did they manufacture witness tampering? I get that talking to the FBI leaves you open to mixing up a date or something, but I just cannot see Roger Stone as threatening a witness nor having deep enough pockets to buy anyone, so did they charge witness tampering for talking to friends "you remember this the same way don't you?" This deep state persecution of folks that dared to support Trump is scary and depressing.
Posted by: PaleRider is simply irredeemable at February 13, 2020 03:25 PM (cDw3P)

It all came down to Stone's interactions with another character named Randy Credico, who probably wasn't much of a witness to anything. Stone sent him some whacked out message about his dog, which Credico himself said was so stupid he didn't see it as a threat, but the prosecutors said "OH MY GOD THAT WAS A THREAT!!!" and added it onto the charges. One text message.

nope, that's the problem with them having gotten so desperate and already throwing everything including the kitchen sink at him. They're down to dried up old NYT editors plagiarizing old Law and Order episodes to claim that BAD MAN TOUCHED ME 25 YEARS AGO!!!

They got nothin'. And, suppose they do get into his tax records - want to know how we know nothing is there, either? Because the State and Federal Revenue Services have already gone through all of them with a fine toothed comb, several times. If anything was there, they would have jumped at the chance. The only reason Trump won't let them go public is to piss off the dems, and who knows, there might be something politically sensitive there. But nothing of any legal importance.

They only got the previous travesty through the House, unfinished, by violating the constitutional impeachment procedure. They eventually turned over the resulting unfinished mess to the Senate after a month, and basically said the dog ate their homework and the Senate should finish their job for them, also a deviation from procedure. They bored and annoyed the nation, and Trump's approval rating was higher after they finished than it was before.

480 Pope Brands Transgender Theory as Evil

The Holy Father goes beyond his two predecessors by strongly condemning gender theory. He was recently asked where he notices evil at work nowadays.

"One place is 'gender theory.'"

He went on to say that gender theory is "dangerous" because it seeks to destroy basic differences between the sexes.

"It would make everything homogeneous, neutral. It is an attack on difference, on the creativity of God and on men and women."

These remarks are nothing new for the pope. In 2014, he said, "Gender ideology is demonic."

485 OT:

I didn't realize this:

The NRCC outraised the DCCC last month for the first time in two years, a feat party operatives say is a sign that they are finally getting the hang of digital fundraising after years of being savaged by Democrats and ActBlue.

The NRCC's $12.6 million January haul is its highest non-March haul in years. (The GOP campaign arm hosts its annual fundraising dinner every March.) Transfers from members and their leadership PACs were under $1 million, according to the committee. But $6.8 million of that total came from grassroots donations, via mail, phones and online - about $2 million more than December grassroots donations to the committee. This could be the impeachment boost that House Republicans were waiting for, or it could be fleeting now that the trial has concluded.

497 MLB is desperate to shorten game duration. I don't like the new "pitch to 3 batters or to end of the half-inning" as a way to do it. MLB doesn't have many options, though. Two ways to really speed-up games are: Limit the number of throws to first base to hold the runner; after 5 foul balls in an at-bat, the batter's out. I don't want those, but throws to first and 6, 7, or 8 or more foul balls in an at-bat consume a lot of time.

501 This fuckin' self-aggrandizing bitch is drunk on all the praise and accolades heaped on her by the identity-politics-loving media:

https://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-us-canada-51480912/ record-breaking-astronaut-do-what-scares-you

"Record-breaking astronaut: 'Do what scares you.' "

Some chick just "broke the record" for the longest time in space by a woman.

She basically says, "Hey all you girls, go into outer space and be astronauts! Fly through the stars! Like that big hero, me!"

First of all, you idiot, one gets chosen by other decision-makers to be a NASA astronaut. You can't just stroll in and announce that you are brave and demand to be sent into outer space.

Second of all, and most importantly:

You are just a passenger on a ship designed and paid for and invented and flown by other people, you bitch. You achieved nothing on your own. You are just an affirmative action hire for PR purposes. Men -- men men men men - did every single thing to create that space station, from the underlying science to the nuts-and-bolts construction to everything else -- and then gave you a ticket to ride on it. YOU DESERVE NO CREDIT. And yet you sit there bathing in the glory, and never once say, "I was part of a team" or "Really, I was just a passenger," or anything like that.

Fuck you. Seriously.

I don't understand the Dems' reasoning. If the last impeachment attempt
drove up Trump's numbers and drove theirs down and the President
emerged stronger as a result, then why would any new attempt based on
similarly shaky grounds gain them any advantage?

503 497 MLB is desperate to shorten game duration.

Barr has a point, from a Legal point of view, Trump's tweet was a big complication that he didn't need, that is going to get every decision he makes second guessed by Judges and Juries.

Trump has a point, he was bringing the corruption present in this trial to the attention of the country's voters.

They play to two different audiences. I'm sure they'll patch up any differences, since they need each other. Trump needs Barr, especially, so he better treat him nicely.

It always amazed me that a football game, consisting of 4 15 minutes quarters, plus a half time of 15 minutes which, counts on fingers, plus co-worker fingers...while ignoring death stare...umm, 1 hour, 15 minutes..yet, manages to run 3 hours.

522 Baseball . . . You leave the batters box, called strike. You walk of the mound, called ball.

The super bowl, even with the halftime dollar bill fest, took about 3.5 hours, not much different than regular season. Late season baseball is an endless series of pitchers and batters wandering about, looking for meaning in their lives.

I suspect Barr is not going to be effective, but I will withhold anything approaching final judgement until his House testimony next month and Durham's findings and recommendations a bit later.

Ever 40 seconds there's a big burst of activity in football. Nothing really happens, but there's a lot of running around.

As opposed to baseball where every twenty seconds or so a ball gets thrown.

The former is flashier in its nothing happening.

4. Drastically limit the number of pitcher that can be used in a game.

Looking at swimsuit ads used to make me think "Hey, I'd better get my ass on the treadmill because I want to look somewhat presentable in my swimming suit before summer rolls around."
